Iris Cave Cappadocia

Review Iris : Deze B&B is een absolute aanrader. Bij aankomst werden we ontzettend hartelijk ontvangen door gastvrouw Iris met een aangeboden drankje (in ons geval een lekkere koffie). De kamer was tot in de puntjes verzorgd, met een heerlijk comfortabel bed. De gastvrijheid van de eigenaren kent werkelijk geen grenzen. Na een intensieve hike kwam ik terug met pijnlijke blaren. Tot mijn grote geluk bleek de man van de gastvrouw arts te zijn. Hij heeft mijn voeten direct vakkundig en met de grootste zorg behandeld. Dit vonden wij echt hartverwarmend. Tel daar het fantastische, uitgebreide ontbijt bij en je hebt het perfecte verblijf. Ontzettend bedankt voor alles en van harte welkom in Antwerpen (België) !

Очень атмосферное место. Мы еще никогда не останавливались в пещере. Глазам нравилось все, хотелось фотографироваться. На террасе вечером красивый вид. Очень вкусные завтраки из свежайщих продуктов от души. Приехали позже заселения, но нас дождались и встретили (предупредили через обратную связь). Шары зависят от ветра, в этот день мы ездили на машине 5 минут в долину. Парковка есть. Очень дружелюбная хозяйка и милейшая собачка, которую хотелось все время гладить. Место будем рекомендовать 🤗👍

Мы путешествуем на своём транспорте и почти каждую ночь останавливаемся в разных отелях. Этот отель — один из немногих, в который хочется вернуться снова. Здесь очень приятная атмосфера и прекрасная терраса с панорамным видом на замок Учхисар. Про такие места говорят: у них есть душа. Это чувствуется в деталях, которые дополняют комнату: книги, декор, приятные мелочи, потрясающая чистота и очень приятное постельное бельё. Хозяйка очень заботливая — всегда интересовалась, всё ли у нас хорошо и не нужно ли нам что-нибудь. Большое спасибо вам за ваше гостеприимство! Если мы ещё приедем в Каппадокию, то остановимся только здесь.

La estancia en este alojamiento fue en si toda una aventura. Viajamos con auto propio asique la ubicación nos pareció muy buena, sin problemas para estacionar cerca. La habitacion es una cueva real donde vivieron anteriormente familiares de la actual dueña del lugar lo que lo hace muy mágico. Está muy bien decorada, iluminada y todo funciona perfectamente (el agua caliente, calefaccion, camas, etc). El desayuno es variado y la dueña lo prepara en el momento según tus preferencias. Ella es fenomenal, es muy simpática y atenta. Nos sentimos como si visitaramos a una amiga. Fue mi cumpleaños durante la estadía y me hizo una torta sorpresa!me hizo muy feliz!. Ademas cuando nos fuimos, mi hijo olvido algo en la habitación y ella amablemente lo envió por correo. No podria estar mas agradecida y contenta por su amabilidad y servicios. Ojalá podamos volver pronto para repetir la experiencia.

Абсолютно всё! Особенно хозяйка — невероятно заботливая, душевная и внимательная. Она помогла нам выбрать лучшее место, чтобы встретить рассвет и наблюдать за воздушными шарами — это было незабываемо! Завтраки просто чудесные: настоящий турецкий стиль, всё свежее и с любовью приготовлено. В номере уютно, тепло и очень чисто. Интерьер аутентичный, с атмосферой старинного каменного дома, но при этом со всеми удобствами.

Die Lage vom Hotel war sehr toll, die Umgebung herrlich und leicht zu begehen.Wir haben uns spontan für das Hotel entschieden und waren mehr überrascht als was wir uns vorgestellt hatten.Die Frau Aygül führt den Hotel Konzept und war eine sehr nette, zukommende und hilfsbereite Dame, die uns auch alles sehr gut organisiert hat. Bespiel das Abendessen beim Restaurant Hezen und die Tour mit den Quadbikes zu erkunden.Natürlich hatte Sie uns auch Vorgeschlagen in der Früh rechtzeitig die Ballons in Göreme zu besichtigen.Es war leider nur eine einzige Nacht die wir verbracht haben, aber wir sind sehr Glücklich das wir eine sehr gute Entscheidung getroffen haben und würden beim nächsten mal Definitiv wieder hier her kommen.Vielen herzlichen und lieben Dank für das Service und Engagement Frau Aygül. Es gibt nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat !! Die Zimmer waren von der Ambiente Live vor Ort viel schöner und schicker als wie in den Fotos! Ich empfehle es jeden herzukommen und sich die Lage vorher anzusehen bevor man sich für etwas entscheidet ! 😉

Vi har vært på mange hotell, dette kommer vi til å huske for alltid. Tenk å få bo i en grotte! Vertinnen var super hyggelig og serviceinnstilt. Organiserte og fikset.

Det ryr litt støv/sand fra taket, men det må man forvente hvis man skal bo i en grotte.

It's was just amazing in every way. Our host, Aygül, was incredibly experienced and attentive, always welcoming us with a smile, and we felt at home immediately. Details: Great, fresh and abundant breakfast and a great view of Ortahisar's Castel from the terrace. The room was a REAL cave, beautiful, cosy, very private, chill, and clean. Good wi-fi, tv, and a fridge.

It’s a cosy place for a short stay in cappadochia . Ideally located few minutes drive from main Goreme town , this is a wonderful place to stay . The owner , Aygul, is the most gracious and friendly host ever ! She has a great sense of taste and has done up the cave room so beautifully and every detail is taken into consideration. She is very kind and always ready to help . You just have to ask her and she will do her best . Her pet , Coco was the cutest and we simply adored her ! We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel and I highly recommend this place .

Since it’s a cave hotel ,it’s understandable that pieces of rock and dust keep falling . Not too great for people with asthma or chest issues . But for others , it’s no issue at all!

Room was excellent. Big enough for my family of 5 to stay comfortably for 3 days. Aygul served a very good breakfast both days we were there to eat and on our 3rd day when we had to check out early she gave us something to take on the road, which was very kind of her. She also helped to book us hot air balloons and ATV, which was a huge help.

just a warning to tall people, my husband is 6 ft tall and he could not stand under the shower and the jacuzzi tub didnt seem to work. Since its a cave, little fragments of the cave kept falling around the room. in the bathroom into the tub. its to be expected if your staying in a cave i guess.

The hotel was amazing. Unique . The personal touch of Ms. Aye-Gul (the owner) was fantastic . Great breakfast . She personally gave us a tour and also got us great discounts for hot air ballon ride and other activities. The best place to stay in Cappadocia. I will never forget the lovely ayegull . She made everything so wonderful. I will definitely come here again and recommend everyone to visit with family.

We were very impressed with this cave room. It’s unique and clean. The location is also near to town and easily accessible to tourist places. Aygul was very friendly and helpful during our stay. She helped us in booking our red tour and taxi to and from airport. Would love to visit again.

Amaizing personal (Mrs. Aygül), clean rooms, delicius and very rich and fresh breakfast. You can reach best (and cheapest) Shops in whole Cappadocia on foot right from hotel + amazing/adrenalin Ortahisar castle (entrance only 50TL for adults)! My recommendation to all, that are searching for vacation in Cappadocia! PS: Mrs. Aygül speaks fluently also English and Germain, so also our kids could speak with her on Germain language. In addition, she has many connections with activities in Cappadocia (e.g. ATV Quads, fly with baloon etc.) and can arrange best discounts and prices for her guests, especially for fly with a baloon!

It was an absolutely amazing experience. We enjoyed our lovely stay. We thank a lot to our host sister Eyegul. We stayed 3 nights with family including kids. Living in cave rooms was a unique experience itself. Host made it homely and convenient. Her hospitality was from heart and very passionate and kind. No words to speak about it. Breakfast was freshly made and superb. Our stay in Cappadocia in this property will always be remembered.

Very nice hospitality. The host Aygul is very friendly, warm and helpful. She will go out of her way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Coco, her pet dog is also very cute and friendly!

Uniquely styled room in a 300 year old cave. Wonderful view of Ortahisar castle. Most gracious hostess, Aygun, who welcomed us not only at her property but also in her heart.

Our hostess, Aygül, has the gift of hospitality. It felt like staying at someone's home rather than a hotel. Great, quiet location. Everything was perfect regarding our stay.

We just loved our stay here. Nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful breakfast on the terrace with views to the castle. Room was beautiful with two additional camp beds as we are a family of five. Plentiful hot water and our girls enjoyed the jacquzzi bath. The host was so welcoming and arranged our Balloon tour for us as well. If we were around she would offer us tea and coffee and other local delights as well. We were able to park the rental car on the street just up from the hotel quite easily.

We absolutely love stay here! The view was amazing and the host had great attentiom to detail. She took care of every detail right from our airport transfers to unplanned medical consultantion and cooking traditional meals. I would definitely use the same stay when i visit again.

I have traveled quite a bit and been to about 40 countries. Aygul, the host is one of the best people you'd meet. She did above and beyond during our stay to make sure we're comfortable. She took us to the hot air balloon viewing at 4am with breakfast and coffee! She offered us coffee, teas and treats all day at no extra charge. Breakfast is delicious with homemade bread at the nice terrace. Her place is stunning with amazing views. The rooms are spacious and the bedding is very comfortable. Surprisingly, Wifi works well even in the cave rooms! 2 mininte walk to the taxi stand in the town with restaurants and shops and 5 minute taxi ride to Goreme or Uchisar.

It was a perfect stay.. It was our first time to Turkey and we were very skeptical about new country and people there, but Aygul the host of IRIS CAVE HOTEL.. made our stay homely, She was a perfect host she was just a msg away at anypoint of the day, she arranged all the attractions of cappadocia for us. She gave us a very welcomed feeling everytime we were back from our day out. She cooked us a delicious food she also surprised my son on his birthday with a surprise party. Aygul and her husband makes a perfect host for all the guest. If u are thinking of a stay of cappadocia think of IRIS CAVE at uchisar, Capadocia. Well maintained and hygienic rooms and a terrace with beautiful cave and castle view, delicious food and most of all a perfect host. Thank u AYGUL thanks for making it memorable.😍

The location, beautiful view of the town castle, real cave feeling room with plenty to of space. The terrace has the best view in town and the breakfast was delicious with lots of homemade goodies but the best of the best are the hosts! Very nice, welcoming and attentive couple who made us feel very confortable in this private beautiful property!!! Highly recommend!!!

I will start by saying that 5 star rating and the comments that follow doesn't do full justice to Aygül, Dr. Erkal Yandi and their place. The moment we booked a room at her place, Aygül got in touch to find out if we needed any assistance with transport, activities like quad bike, green/red/blue tour, hot air balloon ride etc. I arranged transport from hotel and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from the time I entered Iris to the time I left. Aygül treated me and my wife like her own family. She is so sweet, nice and the hospitality we received was unparalleled. In addition to being a fantastic host, Aygül has brilliant connections.. the activities and tours she arranges are the best and the prices are lower than any other place as well as online. On my final day I got sick due to too much physical stress and Dr. Yandi was in my room in no time and assisted me with my health.. On a very short notice Aygül arranged my room extension and on arrival a very early check in. There is nothing more we could ask for.. We are definitely recommending this place to all my friends and family and we will surely visit again. Thank you for a wonderful experience Aygül and Dr. Yandi and hope to see you again the next time we are here.

I like the location. The best things the owner is too kind, the rooms are too big and specious and they are too clean..

Beautiful cave suites in family bed and breakfast located very near the castle. Breakfast was traditional and amazing--fresh bread with jellies and marmalades, assorted cheeses, olives, fresh fruit and vegetables. Best yet, our host was amazing. She set up tours for us, arranged taxis, and even drove us herself to a local winery. Highly recommend.

This is an authentic cave home, so don't expect a modern hotel. We very much enjoyed our experience!
