Did not take breakfast in the hotel
Paper cups in room for coffee/tea. No milk.
Le lit est confortable
Les oreillers beaucoup trop gros
Staff amazing - friendly and efficient. Booked us a perfect bistro in nearby town for dinner - wanted specific menu and they managed to find somewhere for us. Location perfect. Lovely hotel - very clean, very comfortable.
Need more than 1 towel in bathroom for 2 people (although we didn’t ask for more and am sure we could have got more if asked). Would suggest would be handy to keep European plug adaptors for residents (I forgot mine!) - doesn’t affect my opinion of the hotel but would be nice touch.
Stayed here to attend a wrestling event, close to train station short trip to reach the arena. We arrived before check-in time stated due to flight times. Fully expected to only be able to leave our luggage and come back at the time stated. Receptionist was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist called to ask if our room was ready, it wasn't, however the staff were fabulous and we were told they would go and start getting our room ready and it would be ready in 30 minutes. We were able to leave our luggage and have a little look around the streets surrounding the hotel. Room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfortable.
Hard to find something to put in here, would have been nice to have a hot chocolate option and an option on T.V for English. Again just some suggestions as the hotel really was amazing.
This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I’m giving one star only for the decent interior and fairly spacious rooms. Access was frustrating — you need a card to open the sliding door, and with only one receptionist available during weekends, we were lucky a guest opened it for us. The welcome was cold and unprofessional. Though breakfast was included in our booking, the receptionist couldn’t find it in their system and said she’d check later. welcome was so The lift ride was like a roller coster a shaky ride. In our room, the washbasin tap was broken. The same receptionist came to check but couldn’t fix it and said we had to wait until morning for a technician. After complaining, a maintenance person finally showed up and fixed it. The hotel lacks basic 4-star amenities — no pool, gym, minibar, or even complimentary water. The kettle didn’t work because the cord was too short to reach the socket. I had to use the coffee machine from the adjoining room since ours was a connected family room. Breakfast was a disaster all days. The eggs were cold, watery, and tasted off — clearly pre-boiled and reheated in water. Limited choices, no proper refills, and completely unmotivated staff. When we requested anything, they responded with visible irritation and no courtesy. Nothing gets replenished unless asked — be it coffee, sugar, or water — and even then, it's done with attitude. Overall, a disappointing and frustrating stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
The room was small and the area wasn’t good
The staff were pleasant and friendly.
The TV and the coffeemaker did not work. The TV had like 5 channels that worked; rest were blank screen. The coffee maker lacked any instructions and it just poured water even after putting coffee pods.
Rooms were clean and staff friendly
No bottle of water in the room. Very expensive for a small room and the breakfast was way too expensive for what it was (20 €). No croissants 😱
The manager of this hotel and staff were extremely helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
hotel correcto, nada especial ni para bien ni para mal.
The only issue we had was the safes in both rooms didn’t close. Maintenance did come out to fix one but it broke again very shortly after so we couldn't risk using it. Other than that everything was great
The staff were all particularly good, we had lots of questions while we were there and they went out of their way to help us. Rooms were perfect for a short stay. The location met our needs.
Thank you for the staff being helpful and friendly and the bed was comfortable.
- Heater was "on" at a max of 23 degrees (probably blocked by the hotel to avoid costs) but the room couldn't go higher than 14 degrees. It was not nice to sleep in an igloo! - We were warned not to turn the hot water too high in the risk of the smoke detectors to go off: thankfully the water was a mere warm level and just enough to be bearable. - No soap in any of our dispensers. - Cleanliness was just OK. The sheets were washed and ironed, they were just old and therefore had black marks. - No ability to call the front desk (there is none in this hotel) for more covers. Seriously Mercure, I see what you are doing here: trying to propose a more "modern" type of hotel but really cutting costs left and right. If I wanted a capsule hotel with no human interactions, I would have chosen a different brand (which I will do next time).
Great customer service. I received good tips on attractions nearby. The hotel personnel was quite nice and helpful
The lady at the reception desk was very helpful, especially when it came out that there is no hot water in the room (!), she offered a key to another room at the same floor to take a shower there. The hotel is within a walking distance from RER (suburb train) station.
Well, first off all, there was no hot water in the room and at first, I was told that I need to wait for it, because everybody is taking shower at the same time etc. Secondly, there was no fridge in the room (it is true that it is not in the description), which for me is strange in hotels of this level. Thirdly, there were no coffee capsules- I asked for them and the nice lady from the reception brought them, but it didn't help much because the coffee machine did not work anyway (!). Finally, the area around does not seem very safe.
Close to metro stop, clean and modern, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff
Breakfast was €20 per person
Excellent service from the staff and in particular the manager Ruth.
Excellent service and reception by the staff, well located for public transport, clean rooms and a good amount of space
Friendliness. Cleanliness
We had a lot of Noise from a very loud guest early hrs for a good hr . This was perhaps a spoiler and a room phone would have helped as we couldn’t call down to report it so we did lose sleep
I booked nonrefundable then I wanted to shift the reservation for 1 day due to plans change, same number of nights but 1 day later, Hotel refused to move the reservation for just 1 day claiming that there is no availability in the day after But i booked this day after separately which raise a serious question about customer focus and transparency
Very close to the train station and the weekly Nanterre market. Room was very clean and hotel staff were friendly. Room key access required for the front door which is a nice safety feature. Breakfast is available, but we did not have time to try it out.
The safe in the room did not work and the hotel staff did not know how to get it working.
Really friendly staff & nice comfortable modern clean room !
Very kind personnel.
Staff- EXCELLENT
Breakfast was OK. Everything else EXCELLENT
Good location, staff really friendly. Rooms basic but OK for a night or two.
No fridge in the room, bathrooms quite small. Dusty on the bed frame.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very helpful staff.
The hotel is a four minute walk from the RER station which is very convenient. However the area did not feel particularly safe when I returned to the hotel, very late one evening, from an Olympic event. During the day it was fine.
The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. An absolute delight to deal with. The immediate environs are nothing special but you’re less than five minutes from the RER, and on the far side of the station there are some very good bakeries, markets and restaurants in the older area of Nanterre. If you need somewhere to stay outside the arrondissements, it’s ideal.

The location
The area
Room had clearly not been cleaned from previous guests. Bed had not been changed and bathroom was still messy with towels on floor.
The room was small but comfortable. The AC worked well and the shower was excellent. The breakfast selection was reasonable and everything was tasty.
Most staff had little English but communication was not an issue.
your staff were very helpful - In particular Stephan who went over and above to help us with our stay and trip!
Direct train route into Paris Friendly staff Waking distance to town centre and nice restaurants
Some staff were a bit odd Something lack lustre about the rooms Safe didn’t work A bit dusty Air conditioning didn’t work, room too hot, slept with window open so awoken by traffic and market very early morning Walk to town centre takes longer than expected Didn’t feel safe around train station and hotel at night
the breakfast was uneven - one day great - the next mediocre
disclosure that it was significantly farther from the stadium than the booking.com revealed...this was shown as the nearest to the Stadium so we were shocked that we needed to take a train TWO STOPS to get there
.
Clean and reasonable for a very short stay.
Very well equipped and convenient hotel in the Nanterre area, with an informal touch, neat rooms and rather diversified breakfast. Right if you need to stay in Nanterre, of course. Not expensive for the Paris sorroundings. All services you need in this known hotel channel
We stayed there primarily to see Taylor Swift at La Defense Arena, but it was also very easy and comfortable to travel to the Paris city center from the nearby train station. We walked all the way back to our accommodation from the Arena to avoid the crowds waiting for the train, which took us around 30 minutes. Getting to the city center by train was easier and quicker than we thought. Nanterre is a mix of quirky old French houses and new builds, and the old town city center is super charming. There are good grocery shops nearby, and it’s a quiet neighborhood. We liked our room, which featured a double bed, desk, armchair, and bathroom with a rain shower. Everything was clean. The only thing we disliked was the bath towels, which kept piling up, so we ended up using the paper tissues for our face and hands.
Hotel is ok. Have stayed in a lot better than this one. Lots of work happening at hotel when I arrived, so the reception was full of workmen and tools, and also the bar/restaurant. The restaurant food choice is very limited, and the area surrounding the hotel didn't feel like the kind of place that you would want to explore on foot. I had a few issues with my room, toilet over flowing, noise outside (drunks shouting all day/evening) and the hotel were accommodating to try and resolve these things.
Good location, clean hotel, comfortable
Cleaner knocked once on the door very early in the morning and then opened the door to my room which I thought was unacceptable! Breakfast should have been included Air conditioning did not work, room was hot
Convenient to go around the city of Paris as it is near the Metro Station.
No Water bottle refill for the entire stay.
Out class Breakfast and location of the property also very good as transport is very close. Food also available near to the property.
Nothing
I thoroughly enjoyed my time Nantere hotel. Very good location, near to Nanette villie station and bus stop. Good services and comfort and breakfast is good. Thanks.
I liked the service and the hospitality of the staff. They were flexible to our requests of serving early breakfast
Hotel en cours de renovation. Tres sympa et propre. Excellent accueil.
I came to Paris for work. That work is a celemony of an art exbition. My art work is shown in the gallery during one week. I joined the celemony. But I felt so exsausted at night. and this hotel is very comfotable and quiet .I feel happy. So I want to stay one more night.Thank you very much.
Hôtel de bon confort avec personnel accueillant. Établissement bien situé station RER à 5min à pied.
