Pleasantly surprised! Staff was VERY friendly. Breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh. Drink tickets were an added bonus and having cocktails available was fun in pool.

Checkin was a breeze, although they could have used an additional staff member given they also had to answer housekeeping and guest phone calls during our check in. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was terrific - hot foods were freshly prepared; waffle machines (self-serve) were a sweet addition; plenty of cold breakfast options: cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries/breads. The dining area was over-air conditioned. The only complaint was that the swimming pool was closed - that would have been a great opportunity after an extremely long day of driving.

Same day reservation for a party of 7. They accommodated our needs with reasonable rates. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. They had oversized parking for our trucks with trailers. Wonder breakfast with great options that met everyone’s needs from the 5 yr old to the 55 yr old. And best of all was the pool and hot tub. Made the kids day after a long ride in the truck. Wonder staff!!

The rooms are well-appointed, and are comfortable. Even though both of my stays have been near the pool area, the sound is well-dampered, and you don't hear a lot of noise from the hall way. I haven't tried the breakfast or any of the social events, so I can't speak to how those go.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were welcoming and clean! The only suggestion is to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The breakfast bar was great! There was a nice variety of food available and the staff kept everything stocked. When we come back, we’ll be staying here again!!

The atmosphere was fine. The room was substandard. There was a slightly damp washcloth hanging at the top of the shower curtain left behind. We stayed 3 nights. The only thing that was done was that our bath towels were replaced (oddly, not the washcloths). The beds were not made, and trash was not emptied. The lighting was too dim. It was okay if you were only going to sleep there. However, the 3 of us spent 3 days there. The bathroom vanity was even dim. There was also a used plastic tumbler (not disposable) that was in the very back of the lower nightstand that was dirty. Found it on our third day there.

Our return trip home from a week on the Oregon coast was so well punctuated for our family of 9 at the Oxford Inn and Suites in Redding. Laura and her kitchen staff put together a delicious dinner of Minestrone soup and garden salad which was so wonderful after a long days drive, along with the complimentary pair of drinks at the lounge bar. The pool and spa were great as the grandkids had a blast playing keep-a-way with other kids to lose their last available energy storage! Breakfast was equally filling and the property was clean and well appointed.

Coffee in room was disgustingly weak. A joke! However, morning coffee at buffet was excellent.

As always we had a delightful stay at Oxford Suites Redding. Great room, warm pool, good food and wonderful staff. We’ve been staying there for 30 years. It never disappoints!

The hotel is in an older part of town. However once you walk through the doors it looks very nice and new and well kept. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Very clean with lots of features. We used the mini fridge and the microwave! We liked having a little sitting room separate from where the beds are. The complimentary breakfast was very nice. Although we didn't take advantage of the guest happy hour and savory snacks, it was very nice to know they were offered. Everything looked fresh and tasty. We will definitely stay here again.

We reserved a room at the Oxford Inn in Reading California. My husband and I were there with our two grandsons who are on the spectrum ages six and seven they have never been to a hotel before they were having a difficult time. The 7-year-old kept trying to leave the room was doing some stomping on the floor. We received a phone call that they were complaints from several guests in the hotel, which left us no other option but to leave we left insuch a hurry that I left a few things in the room and when I called to ask if they could be sent to us they told us you had a shipping company that worked for you to ship things out it would cost me $50. I cannot pay the $50 I was not offered a refund or discount for the room since we couldn’t even stay, we had just driven seven hours plus it was after midnight when we had to pack up the car and leave to go back home and we did not even reach destination in Oregon. The room was extremely small. Nothing like it showed on the website when I reserved the room. Before all the chaos started, I went downstairs and ordered some food. The poor bartender was bartending and cooking. I had ordered a pizza. It wascompletely burnt. She did offer to make me another one. That one was overcooked as well again not her fault she was doing two jobs at one time. Overall, we were very disappointed and sad… We were never offered any compensation for any of the room or the food. The girl at the desk however was amazing as we were leaving. She packed a bag with some beverages and snacks for the kids, which was very kind of her. She also helped us load our car.

Pleasant, helpful staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Two issues that need addressed are the guest room doors - they are not soft close, you’ll hear them throughout the night. Secondly, the HVAC turns on/off about every 10 minutes and is SUPER LOUD.

The room was very spacious and I especially liked the pocket doors that separated one room from the other. This is the third time we have stayed at the Oxford Suites with our swim team. Of the three rooms we've stayed in, I like the setup of this one the best. The only drawback was the fact that the pool was right outside our window.

Perfect. Honestly. Best roadside hotel experience. Complete full breakfast with everything you can think of including waffles, yogurt, and fruit, oatmeal, breakfast, breads, eggs, and sausage, etc. Complementary alcoholic drinks for all adults in the room. A lovely shaded pool area surrounded by trees. Perfectly clean and updated large rooms; the sitting area was comfortable, even including its own TV and a pocket door that separated it from the main bedroom. Location, wise, it was close to shopping, including sprouts, grocery store, and Trader Joe’s, and close to the freeway.Finally, every staff member that we engaged with, from the bartender to the breakfast assistants, to the front desk were cordial and helpful. If I ever am passing this way again, I will definitely stay here.

Great place, comfortable beds and pillows, and a large and spacious room. The breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage and potatoes available, along with cereals and breads. There are also many restaurants within walking distance. The shower had the best water pressure I’ve ever had in a hotel. The pool and bar area are nice too.

Amazing pool and hot tub. Remodeled and modern. Breakfast times need to change: we rolled in at 9:05 am and breakfast closed by 9 am which is not family friendly. Check out by 11 also felt rushed and unnecessary. We will choose a different hotel with better hours in the future. Beds were comfortable and two TVs were a plus for the kids and parents. Good, not great. Liked it, didn’t love it.

How small the rooms are. How you have to stand in the shower to turn it on as the door didn't open on both sides. The beds were not very comfortable. The fridge was placed weird in the cabinet had a difficult time opening. The breakfast was alright. The eggs tasted so bad.

Very disappointing experience. The staff’s attitude was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful, making us feel completely unwelcome. Breakfast was very basic, and because the hotel was so busy, the staff could not keep up with refilling the food and bread. Many items stayed empty for a long time. Overall, the service was far below what we expected, and we would not stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The day of check in the sent me a text with options for upgrades or add ons. Check in was very easy. We took advantage of the drink tickets. The bar tender was very friendly and the other patrons werr fun to talk to. The facilities were clean. The bed was VERY comfortable. The shower was a good size, clean, and it drained. The breakfast had good options. Other reviews said that you could hear people walking around on the floor above, which is true, but it wasn't terrible. I was thankful that it didn't seem like we kids above us and people who didn't excessively walk around. We couldn't hear other people's tvs or conversations. We would definitely stay here again.

The room is small. We had just come from a different hotel company with larger rooms and it was a bit shocking when we walked in. They do not offer daily cleaning, which is something I think they should make more obvious when booking.

Always enjoy our stop in Redding at Oxford. We road trip LA-Seattle 2-3 times a year with our dog (missed a trip last year due to illness), and have used Redding as our halfway spot for many years…. We’ve tried most of the hotels on Hilltop (and the modern downtown), and were unhappy with all until we found yours. The rooms are comfy and clean, staff helpful, amenities great…. The Social is a nice touch we always use, and the breakfast is really good when we can use it - unfortunately because of our driving schedule we mostly leave well before 6 and hit the Starbucksfor the road - a grab and go offering would be much appreciated. Additionally, a more robust wifi speed would be great. Looking forward to our next visit.

I loved it so much I recommended it to a colleague who came over and also stayed here. I’ll stay here every time I travel here.

We had enjoyed stays at other Oxford Suites properties and the Redding hotel did not disappoint. The evening reception and breakfast were great and much appreciated, the room was clean and quiet and we liked having laundry machines on site rather than having to go to a laundromat.

Awesome location friendly staff clean environment and free drinks and breakfast you can’t beat that. Parking was not an issue and it location is fantastic no matter which direction you go it’s surrounded by many things to do and places to eat.

Oxford Suites is always our favorite stop on trips to and from Oregon. We have been staying for over 10 years and always find it to be a friendly, clean & comfortable place for us and our pup. The happy hour and hot breakfast are added value that we appreciate.

The Oxford Suite was a pleasant surprise. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff was amazingly friendly especially dealing with a large crowd. Great hot breakfast, served up fresh. Lots of options. I was glad there was a review about the shower layout so I knew to turn the shower head towards the wall before turning on the water. Avoided getting cold water on me at the start. Loved the pocket doors separating the bedroom from sitting area. Kept the bedroom darker and I was able to rise early and read without bothering my husband while he slept. Totally recommend this hotel.

Great breakfast with freshly cooked eggs, potatoes, and bacon/sausage--plus wide selection of other breakfast foods. A measure of the quality was they had almond milk as well as regular. The Happy Hour snacks were enough for dinner. Cookies in the afternoon, and coffee available 24/7. Large, comfortable room, comfortable bed, great amenities, all around, just an excellent facility. I would definitely stay again.

Our experience was good , starting from breakfast to evening complimentary services. Pool side was amazing with lot of families enjoying time together. Only issue was the noise of someone walking on above floor was noisy while sleeping.

No real blankets on the bed, invaded by ants coming out of the wall in the bathroom and somewhere in the main suite. Poor customer service, wanted to spray in the room when we could not open the window due to lots of people at the pool area it was facing, so their solution was to let us breath ant spray. Ended up checking out and of course no manager onsite to provide a refund for a room we could not stay in our last night. Desk person was nice till I pushed back about how the solution would make us sick and I wanted the refund. Was more worried about checking in people that came in behind me then dealing with the situation. Asked for a receipt at check out and she was trying to tell me they dont give receipts, odd I have gotten one every time for 8 years. This place is going down hill, they promise you amentities to get you to stay then charge you 10.00 a night under proerty fees but on the receipt says amentities. Truly dispointed as a long term user of this hotel. I will not be back.

If you’re looking for a place to relax after a long drive on the road, Oxford Suites is the place for the night. O.S. is clean, and has a friendly atmosphere. Unwind for the evening with its complimentary beverage, salad bar and soup. Morning breakfast is ready for you to pack up some quick energy to start the day off. Finally, a big kudos to staff for its professionalism. For penny pinchers, it could be a bit pricey for the experience, though.

Staff was so friendly and helpful and welcoming. Started with a nice evening offering of the most delicious bowl of chili and mini salad bar. I had a sore throat so asked for lemon juice and honey and they got me an entire lemon with packets of honey and tea. The room was so comfy. Used the mini refrigerator with a freezer. Only warning to future guests is the shower was designed in such a way that you have to get completely drenched with icy cold water in order to turn on the very nice and well appointed shower. Basically they installed either the wrong kind of shower doors or they installed the doors backwards. I don’t think they could flip those doors cuz you’d have to squeeze by the toilet if the door opened the other way and they’d have to completely repipe to it the shower head on the right side. Only option right now is when I return, which I def will, I will try bringing a long bath brush to turn on the shower. My suggestion is that mgmt replace the shower heads to one that can be turned to the side or pulled off the wall so guests can turn in the shower and avoid the icy cold torrent. Cuz the water pressure is terrific! Hot breakfast was excellent. Didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. They have a small store with various options of food and amenities for guests to purchase. Location is great for access to food and drink. Plan on staying again soon

We got a room on the first floor next to the exit door. You literally can hear other guests go in and out early morning and foot steps from upstairs. Also our fridge didn’t work. Everything else was nice. Check in and out was breeze, very clean and friendly staff.

Oxford Inn in Redding is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean, quiet, safe and has wonderful amenities. I enjoyed the pool and spa. They were both clean and warm, and someone said they use salt water to keep them sanitized. The front desk staff in both the evening and morning were excellent, warm, and helpful. The bar and evening supper are such a wonderful treat with a free drink and a light snack, which could actually count as a light dinner. The bartender, Heather, was wonderful! She was very busy, but she handled everything she had to do at the bar in addition to preparing meals from the bistro, with generosity and a big smile on her face. If I were managing the hotel, she would be in line for a raise! Keep up the good work, Redding Oxford Inn!

Friendly and responsive front desk and maintenance employees. This motel was recommended by a friend. On the first leg of this trip I stayed at a competitor and found their property poorly maintained and with listless employees. My 1 night stay at Oxford Suites was far superior. My only criticism was that the breakfast bar got crowded.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Some rooms are a little larger than others, which is nice depending on your needs. The location is excellent, with Logan’s Roadhouse right next door, making it very convenient for meals. There are also plenty of other restaurants, shops, and services nearby, all along the same road. One of my favorite things about staying here is the daily happy hour. Guests can go down and enjoy a complimentary drink along with chips and salsa, which is a great added perk. The breakfast is also amazing, with a nice variety of options to start the day. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a clean hotel in a convenient location, with excellent customer service and wonderful complimentary amenities.

Overall, the place was clean. However, the woman in the kitchen was incredibly rude and unacceptable. She threw the plates down when I asked for a cleaner one, pointing out the dirt on the existing one.

We had a great stay here at Oxford Redding. We had two kids with us, a 10-year-old and an 8-year-old and we booked the double Queen room which was a lot of space for us. There were two TVs there. The location is great, it's nice and safe. We were there on our way to Canada. It is maybe a 5-minute drive to the sundial bridge and about an hour to Barney falls. We stayed here so we could go to Berney falls as well. The pool area is nice. The breakfast is great (combination of hot and cold items, cereal/toast/bagels, biscuits and gravy eggs and sausage and potatoes and waffles with Nutella and whipped cream) and they give complimentary drinks to the parents each evening. They also serve complimentary salad but we didn't have that. For all of that we got in that state the cost was pretty good. We compared a lot of hotels and settled on this one.

Checked in for work tonight. First impression: Big, clean rooms that could use way more light. Niceties like a free drink with check in and breakfast. A bit of a weird layout with the elevators. If I had to come again for work I would only stay on the top floor because (and here's where I took off a star): I'm on the second floor and I can hear the person walking back and forth on the floor above me and the person's tv and conversations next to me. I can also hear water through the walls. That's not a restful experience! In the morning, through my front door I could hear someone's blowing their hair dry from across the hall! It was so clear I thought it was housekeeping running the vacuum. And seriously, is the person above me trying to get their steps in or what? They haven't stopped for a hour!

The location was convenient, and it is nice that they offer a free bar drink (I do not drink, though) and complimentary breakfast. The staff were very friendly. The bed was reasonably comfortable.

What I really, seriously hated about this place is the OVER-COMMUNICATION. Guys, I'm spending a night. I'm not your BFF. I got more messages from you in the days and weeks proceeding my stay than I get in my over-active group chat! CALM. DOWN. Confirm my reservation, and then back off, please?? Secondly, the place was NOISY. It was overrun with screaming children, and the rooms simply had no level of sound proofing at all (thin walls?). There were noises all night, from the parking lot, from the pool, from other guest rooms. The AC unit was super-loud. The bathroom was not very clean (hairs from various previous guests kind of mop-shoved into corners). The hard floors were sticky (ew), and the carpet didn't look very clean. There was just no value in the price for a night here.

We have stayed at the Oxford Suites in Redding several times. We travel with our pup and appreciate the reasonable pet fee and goodies. Staff is always friendly and helpful, really, they always go above and beyond when we request something. Clean rooms, fair price, family friendly.

We always love Oxford Suites. Especially in Pismo. But the breakfast service here was quite chaotic at 9am compared to Pismo location. A lot of items were running out at 9am and not as nice of a selection. The hot food was good. The “orange juice” was more like a diluted orange drink. The night appetizers and drinks were 5 star. Room comfy as always

The bed pillows were too thick. I checked with the front desk twice for a different ones, but unfortunately they didn’t have any flat ones. I used the room blanket as a pillow.

Room was very small. Ants and spiders in the room. Pull out mattress was falling through the frame. Elevator was broken, nearest one was very out of the way. Asked for bedding for pullout bed, was given flat sheet and fitted, no pillows or blankets.

Very clean, friendly staff, breakfast was included and was great. They also gave a mercy hospital rate. I will stay again
