Virtually everything
Our room was a bit smaller than we had hoped.
Breakfast was really lovely. The hotel is perfectly located. Very happy.
The room was smaller than I had last time and was in a different building to that which I had stayed before that overlooked Nyhavn. I could still see the water though which was nice.
The decor and location are its selling points. Rooms aren’t huge, but decently laid out.
Fantastic location, comfortable clean rooms and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful
The bar and restaurant are in the basement so a bit gloomy but the food was excellent
Great location, super helpful & friendly staff. Breakfast very good quality & excellent selection, all nicely presented. Il Limo restaurant definitely worth having dinner there, it was delicious.
There is only one lift as it’s an old building, didn’t bother me but some may find it an issue.
Location, goodservice and staff
I paid for airport transfer for my room and our friends room. When they went the driver insisted on being paid and that he had not been paid.
Excellent location on the Harbor
No Gym or Sauna
As like everyone who stays at this hotel the most liked thing is the location
Unacceptably overpriced

The location is perfect and the breakfast is fantastic!
Location and the atmosphere
On check in most friendly and helpful people behind reception on check out some ( not all) grumpy people
Super Lage
Badezimmer Grösse für 2 Personen eine Zumutung! Zimmerdecke schräg. Man kann neben Bett nicht aufrecht strhen.
great location. Don't be concerned by busy street - it quiets down at night. 5 min walk to metro. Breakfast was excellent. Rented bikes form hotel and location is a great starting point to ride. Front desk was very helpful with restaurants, bike rides and setting up a small group boat canal tour for us. Would stay here again.
nothing.

Location is perfect. Good breakfast, nice rooms and staff.
Rooms could have better curtains or black outs to impere light from disturbing sleep.
The list is endless of likes for this hotel. From the location to the room, to the breakfast to the staff - there is nothing to complain about here! If you want a central location with a beautifully equipped room & staff on tap where ‘nothings too much trouble’ 71 Nyhavn is your place!
There is nothing to list!
Location was great, a short walk from the metro. Stylish property with a gorgeous breakfast.
I should have taken the road prior Nyhavn to avoid the cobbled streets.

Posizione eccellente, colazione ottima, stanza molto carina e staff disponibile per ogni richiesta - sorridenti e competenti.
Location and staff
Nothing
- Location is amazing! Historical city center - We had a view on the canal and it made the room totally worth it - Hotel staff was very polite and inviting, we had a great experience with communication in general. Very warm and welcoming :)
- On photos on the website this room category was demonstrated with a large floor-to-ceiling window, but in reality we had 2 small windows. - If you want to go a lot to the shopping area, this hotel is a bit far.
The hostess at breakfast was a total racist. And as a man of color, she offended me to my core. What an awful human being. Disgusting. Her behavior in 2026 was totally unacceptable. I seriously could not believe the way this lady spoke to me. Like I was a slave or something. So condescending. So paternalistic and she was WAY younger than me. Caucasian. Totally unprofessional. Totally inappropriate and the management did NOTHING. Besides that there was no heat in the room and the view was of plumbing.
This Hotel was central to most everything you'd like to visit. Exceptionally easy check in. Staff was kind and courteous. Speaking several different nationalities. Concierge services are very convenient. Breakfast does not miss anything and melts and eggs to order are world class. The rooms are very unique in layout and decor. Building in re-purposed and structural beam exposed to remind of days past. However all the modern day conveniences are realized. Like most of Europe twin beds are standard. Air conditioned but not needed most nights. Comfortable, quite and clean. A must stay again place when returning.
Location was perfect for site seeing and quintessential views. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Nærheten til sjøen og bylivet
My husband and I visited this hotel for four nights and found the personnel to be caring and informed. When we next visit this area, we’ll stay here again as the breakfast was delicious and the onsite restaurant impressed us with its fresh ingredients and inviting outside seating area. Most importantly, there was a plumbing problem in the room which took quite a while to fix and necessitated a move to another room. To compensate for the inconvenience, the hotel refunded a night’s cost, as well as offering free access to the minibar. This is an example of a hotel that treats guests kindly and does its best to ensure a good night’s sleep.
הכל
This hotel is in a great location, the room was comfortable, it had air conditioning (huge bonus when it was so hot in copenhagen) and the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was some of the best food we had on a trip to scandinavia (eggs to order, bread, pastries, cereal, non dairy milk, etc). We also had dinner at the restaurant and thought it was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Location, staff, breakfast, bikes, view from room
Air con slightly noisy
Cleanliness and location
Sheets on beds uncomfortable
Loved everything
I would have liked a bit more space for hanging and putting away our clothes. In addition some shelving under the sink or on wall in bathroom as it was very hard to put toiletries anywhere but the floor.
Breakfast is good in general. We used bottle of the water and been charged for it . No water offering in the room to guests at all.
I mentioned in the above . Overprice for the hotel 3 stars but with a good location.
Frukosten var bra och riklig.

What a wonderful stay at this world-class, highly impressive premium hotel in the heartland of Copenhagen's tourist offerings. Highly recommended.
The room was not a standard room The pillows too small and not comfortable The quilt is too small and not comfortably The beam above tge bed scared me during the night and in the morning as well you must change the bed position I talked to reception ti change the room but the said you must upgrade the room in spite of i said i take a pill and scare during the night I am glad l booked just one night to prevent any damage to my body
If you're searching for a hotel with a great location this is it. Everything is walking distance from here and there are many restaurants in the area. The service was also exceptional, especially by Mads at the front desk. Be sure to include the breakfast in your reservation because it's fantastic. Overall a great stay.
You can’t beat the location. Central and walking distance to most ensues and attractions. The breakfast was simply amazing. The room was smaller than we would have liked and the shower, though very nice, was not walk in and it was a very deep tub. The staff were great and very accommodating.
If you want to be right in the heart of the old town but still need somewhere quiet to retreat to, 71 Nyhavn is the answer. Step outside and you're in the middle of it all — restaurants, bikes, boats, and tourists buzzing with energy. One long row of back to back restaurants the 450m length of Nyhavn. But once you've had enough for the day, you come back to a warm, modern, and safe hotel that feels like home.
The hotel is in a perfect location near all points of interest and being the last property on the Avenue is also in a quiet part of the street. The staff, particularly Mads and Sophie, were absolutely fantastic helpful in every way and making us feel welcome and appreciated. They assisted us in making a number of reservations to places of interest and to restaurants.
This was our second wonderful stay at Nyhavn 71. The staff met us with relaxed good cheer and seasoned attention from the minute we checked in. We appreciate all of the attention to lovely design and detail for an excellent guest experience. The location right on the water in Nyhavn is unbeatable and the view from our room was fantastic. Don’t miss the delicious breakfast with lovely presentation and the possibility of eating by the water in good weather!
I learned that Nyhavn is pronounced New’hun, which would have helped immensely with the taxi ride there. Once there, things couldn’t have gone better. You are in the heart of the “colorful houses” area where all the tourists get off the hop-on hop-off bus to take pictures or eat dinner, but you can stroll by them, enjoying the views, to get to your quiet, picturesque hotel. It’s just steps from the harbor but is peaceful and unhurried inside. The lobby and rooms are decorated with wooden beams reminiscent of the building’s history as a warehouse. Breakfast was good, and we ate one night at the in-house Italian restaurant in the same soace, which was also delicious. Front desk staff went above and beyond. All in all, an enjoyable stay.
Our room had a water view which was lovely. Enjoyed watching boats and happy people. Great location - right on the canal, close to sites, boat tours, dining and shops. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast with made to order omelets and a wide assortment of breakfast treats. I cannot say enough about the staff. They were so helpful and accommodating to our many needs and always with a smile. They went out of their way with never a complaint. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
The location of this hotel is perfect! Steps from the canal, restaurants, shops, and activities! The entire hotel including the lobby, guest rooms , and restaurant are calm and inviting. The rooms are comfortable and smartly appointed. Customer service from hotel staff is warm and efficient, and they go above and beyond to ensure your stay is pleasant. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with many options to start your day on a positive note. While this was not the cheapest hotel I looked into before booking, it was absolutely worth the rate. This will be my hotel of choice any time I return to Copenhagen. Thank you for a memorable and relaxing stay!
The Nyhaven itself is a busy ‘must visit’ tourist spot but this hotel is at its far end and manages to be a high grade, quiet escape. Our room was clean and reasonably spacious. The air-to-air aircon (needed in such an historic building) was reasonably quiet. Customer service at the front desk and at breakfast was excellent. Breakfast itself is high quality (with an egg station).
Wife and I celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a stay at this hotel. Booked a Junior Suite Deluxe and had a great room with a fantastic view. Surprisingly quiet at night, even with the windows open. No AC in the room but the front desk supplied a small desk fan which worked well. Enjoyed a great breakfast in the morning prior to checking out for our cruise. This hotel is right in the middle of everything. Plenty of restaurants and shops around and access to the sites is within an easy 5-10 min walk. And access to any type of canal tour boat is literally right outside of the building.
Vyhled na kissing Bridge
I loved staying at 71 Nyhavn Hotel. The location is superb and the team are so friendly and genuine. It felt like an immersion in Danish culture. From the hygge room to the quality of the food, it was pure Danish luxury and coziness. The team were also really helpful with suggestions that made our time in Copenhagen even better. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Breakfast, location and hospitality were great
The price to get to the hotel from the airport which was set up by the hotel was nearly 4 times as much as the taxi fare traveling from the hotel to the airport.

The people were great and the hotel is in a perfect location. The breakfast was great and the restaurant, for dinner, is also very good. My only complaint was we stayed on the top floor and the rooms are two stories with a bed in a very small loft and everything else downstairs. It was a bit treacherous if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night which, at my age, is very night!
Really friendly staff and exceptional accommodation and food.
Perhaps lifts could be improved
The location was wonderful
Our room was very nice, but because it was oddly shaped the amount of room available for use was a bit small
Brilliant location on waterfront. Breakfast was good although the breakfast room was rather crowded. Dinner in the restaurant was also good. The room was comfortable although not much cupboard space. Good large walk in shower.
More cupboard space. More written information about the hotel and the area. Everything is on-line.
Pros: great location, historical building, great breakfast with fresh to order egg dishes, kind and professional staff.
The room 103 ($375 a night) is off the kitchen, all night long noise and lights flicking off and on, impossible to sleep, housekeeping not finished until 3 to 5pm., no soundproofing above room, plumbing and ac broken in rooms, had to be moved. Too much noise in this property for me! I stayed 4 nights and was given a 1 night refund for these issues, which I appreciated. If I had known about these issues, I would have stayed somewhere else.
