Holiday Inn Express Bellingham by IHG

Handicap room was awesome Outside sitting area Pool easy for handicap people to get in

Fantastic

Check in was awesome. The guy was amazing. Signed me up for rewards was very easy. Fast and easy checking. Impressed. Love love love the bidet and heated toilet seat. Bed a clean and comfy. Very happy. Would have liked in room coffee but we survived 😀

Breakfast. I was really looking forward too. But my husband went down at 830am said pans were empty and it was full of people. I went down as we left at 930. They were already putting things away. I had to ask for a plate. Empty bins. Eggs were gross and wet.

Here’s a polished review based on what you described. It keeps the tone positive while honestly mentioning the issue and how well the staff handled it. Hotel Review I had a great stay overall. The hotel was very clean and had nice amenities. One issue we noticed when we first arrived was that our room door had a visible gap along the edge, making it possible to see into the room from outside. We brought it to the staff's attention, and they were extremely helpful and professional. They immediately offered to change our room without any hesitation. The customer service was excellent, and the staff made sure we were comfortable right away. Their quick response and willingness to address the problem made a big difference. Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and I would definitely stay here again.

There's not enough handicap parking space. Only 2 spaces.

Nice room, and clean. It was in a good location with a lot of options for dinner.

The breakfast needs some help.

Breakfast was great. Best selection and taste of all other places we have stayed in recently.

We left our room late the first day, (1.00 PM) so our room never got cleaned, but they did bring a new set of towels when we arrived back at 8.00 PM after I called the front desk. No big deal.

Clean. Good breakfast.

-

The breakfast was decent.

We could hear clearly the conversation from the next room. It was noisy until midnight. The shower didn’t work well so we had to take a bath.

Very clean and friendly service. The pool is nice hot tub jets could use some work. Breakfast is yummy. Honestly one of the best hotels in our town been there twice now with my kids they love it there.

Hot tub jets

Got in around midnight and our young daughter was hungry. The front desk attendant tracked down a banana for her. Completely unnecessary but greatly appreciated. A small gesture that left a big impression. Facility was very clean and rooms were very comfortable.

Comfortable clean and good breakfast.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful, the breakfast had a great variety, the room had recently been updated and was very comfortable. Overall, an excellent choice!

Good standard, all was working, good price, restaurants nearby

Nothing to claim

Very clean! Perfect from check in, to check out!

It was perfect! Nothing negative to report!

Awesome breakfast. Loved the room.

Good location and pool was clean and warm.

Everything

Idk

The breakfast was amazing, fresh and so many healthier choices. Super clean facilities. Really nice and clean pool. Good value

Comfortable, clean, well maintained, good breakfast, close to restaurants, safe parking, pet friendly, dog walk area

The shower was awesome as was the breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful- we will be back!

Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great

This could of just been cause there was a gymnastics competition going on but kids were running around and noisy after quiet hours and the pool was super small

Location and breakfast was great.

The people upstairs were so loud when they walked, we could hear them, floors were creaking. Didn't get much sleep on our first night.

Staff were friendly. The room and facility were clean. I liked the bench to put on our luggage on and the storage space. Bathroom was large. Breakfast was good.

Bed was not comfortable and I woke up with a sore back.

Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast options

My husband said the breakfast was done very well! Good choice, variety etc.

people were nice and breakfast

my key card for hot tub never once worked. i realize i could have asked front desk. but walking down to lobby was uncomfortable when every table was occupied by a staff member. felt weird and judge and then my card for pool declined ? didn’t feel comfortable saying anything with 10 + (literally) staff in the lobby at any given moment

Front desk people were friendly, hotel was clean.

Pool is very small, you get 6-8 people in there and is too packed to swim. Breakfast is consumed immediately at 10:30 by the staff. My kids slept in and got down there right at 10:30, they locked fridge doors as they're trying to grab a milk and had already cleaned out every hot dish, eating right there at the tables, watching the kids try to get a bite to eat. Yes, they were late but every hotel we've ever stayed at would've allowed them to get something and not eaten it in front of them. It was bizarre.

the place are clean and the staff are great and off course the breakfast was fantastic

nothing

Breakfast was fine. Lots of options. I liked the biscuits and bacon. Location was great. Room was clean and quiet. Bidet was a nice surprise! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Staff was very personable!

Location

“close” to ski area and food

Loud at night. Kids running down the halls and yelling. Not really facilities fault, just rude parents.

Everything was perfect 👌

The staff was wonderful

The walls are very thin

Fresh, delicious coffee counts for a lot with this traveler.

Location is in a great location, but traffic jams also apply. Not hotel's fault whatsoever!! Just a heads-up.

Everything looked clean!! Staff upfront didn’t seem bothered when I asked for help.

Lots of noise from the hallway and other rooms. Water running upstairs.

Breakfast was great. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Room was a nice size.

Good choices for breakfast. Clean room, everything I need. Staff is friendly and goes out of their way to help. Definitely my choice of hotel in Bellingham.

Clean

Noisy hallways

The breakfast was great. The room/bath were excellent. Very clean.

When people in the room above me took a shower, the plumbing noises were excessively loud.

very good breakfast. Good variety.

Great size room

The bathrooms don’t seem to have any ventilation. It’s always wet after showers

Clean, modern, good size rooms

Nothing

As grandparents from the east coast, we have stayed here three times in the last 2 1/2 years. Each visit has been a positive experience, which is why we keep coming back. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful after full days spent with family.

Very good

The beds are rock hard

Everything was smooth and perfect.

NA

It was very clean and the staff were amazing! Breakfast was a nice addition too.

Beds were 6/10 comfort.

Clean rooms and staff was great.

Pool was small, crowded at times.

I loved the helpful staff. The wonderful breakfast with the best bacon I have had in a long time. The room was quiet and clean. The location is perfect for everything in downtown bellingham.

I did not like that i had to leave the next day.

Location

NA

The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, accommodating. People working there are excellent, kind, and caring.

I originally asked for a quiet room, but got a noisy room on the front with road noise. I was given a different room the next day when one became available.

The breakfast was tasty, but its temperature wasn't perfect. The sausage patties were lukewarm, but tasted pretty good. Would just recommend y'all keep an eye on the temperature.

The dining room was too small. Not much you guys can do about that without a remodel, but there aren't enough tables for people to eat. We took our breakfast back to our room.

Friendly staffs, great location

Sound insulation could be better

Staff were friendly and beds were comfy. Loved the hot tub

Staff excellent, helpful

The heater/air conditioner was very very noisy

Staff were friendly and it was clean.

Main Complant: Saturday (Oct 18th) morning at around 6:25 AM, while the staff was preparing the morning breakfast fare the main building alarm was set off by activity in the Lobby Breakfast area. You can imagine the panic that was experienced when you are awaken from the sleep by an indication that the building in on fire. People were heading for the exits as the alarm was going on for at least 5 minutes. When it was finally silenced there did not seem to be any attempt to announce the ALL CLEAR situation. I feel that we should have been offered at least a free nights stay, if not then but maybe for a future time. Secondary Complaint: Being a Mariner’s baseball fan I was greatly disappointed that the latest season ending games could not be seen/viewed via the room cable system. The main lobby has a difference cable hook-up so the game could be viewed there but again not in the room that I paid to stay in. As for the room cable system, in my opinion, it is a very poor feature offered. I would prefer being offered that same cable system as the main lobby.

clean and new

Parking was safe and easy. Room was clean, modern, and spacious. Love the pool and hot tub! I love that breakfast was also included! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fabulous.

All the above

All good

Great mattress, quiet district

People here were very friendly. The included breakfast was also very good. Location is great with access to Bellis Fair and restaurants and local highways plus the I5. The room was comfortable. The only thing that we found strange was that the toilet had a built in Automated Bidet , and I was unable to figure out how to turn it off. It sprinkled water and heated the seat whenever we used it, no matter how many buttons we pushed. Just a bit weird.

A good location with a lot of eateries and shopping near by. Rooms could use better sound proofing. A/C is great! Staff is friendly.

Good location with plenty of parking. Pool for kids. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Everyone very nice and helpful. Recommend!

Perfect location for our conference. The hotel had all the necessary amenities. Clean and comfortable.

Very quiet at night and the morning breakfast had lots of great options

Very comfortable and great brekky

Clean and comfy.
