Holiday Inn & Suites Bellingham by IHG

Great place for a one night stay

Nothing

Receptionists are always kind and professional. It takes only 3-4 minutes by walk to get to the airport. Rooms are very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Nothing.

Easy all the way. We are staying again on our way back

Convenient to airport.

The little portable tray was dirty and needed cleaning. I cleaned it and took photos of before and after. Also, the toilet seat needed its screws tightened because when I sat on it, it moved to the right or left every time and was a bit dangerous. It’s a safety issue when the toilet seat slides when you sit on it. One could put out their back because of it. I called the front desk to fix it and someone came, but she did not have access to a screwdriver as the handyman who fixes things like that had gone home. I’m glad I was only there one night so I didn’t have to deal with it for days.

Nice staff. Easy access from Airport. Nice facility, comfortable.

Breakfast nothing special … Nice clean facility & staff.

The breakfast was tasty and fresh with good variety of hot and cold items. Appreciated real dishware and cutlery, no paper plates or plastic utensils. Good parking and comfortable rooms. Having a restaurant for dinner in the hotel was great, especially after a long day of travel. It was so nice not to have to drive somewhere else for dinner.

Location. Cleanliness. Comfort

Comfort, clean, close to the airport, great food!

Proximity to airport.

No hot water for morning shower!

Just an amazing breakfast. Everything hot and fresh. Hot and cold beverages they serve at your table and the staff is very responsive. Rooms were very neat and regardless of your request, rooms are cleaned every single day. Sauna, Gym, pool all are well maintained. If you are woman traveling alone, this is the best suggestion for you. 2 mins walk from the airport- No need of cabs or help. And, in-house restaurant have very good food. They covered wide range of cuisines within a small sized menu to cater all the peoples needs.

Wi-Fi could be much better.

Clean facility and surprisingly quiet though next to an airport.

The shower head connection was poor and kept flopping over. Notified via text without a response.

The breakfast was horrible. When we entered the dining room, no one was at the room entrance. We went into the bufet breakfast and helped ourselves to scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage. The food was ccld and soggy--unedible. I looked for a coffee pot and found it and served myself to coffee. five minutes later a young man came to our table and asked if we would like omething to drink. I told him we alreay had our coffee and would like our bill. We wound up paying $31 and change for 2 cups of coffee and garbage.

The food could have been better. The room we had was outtandin. Clean and comfortable however the coffee maker did not work.

service was slow..had to ask for coffee and juice to 3 different people until it finally came.

The dinner hours ended too early the sauna and steam were out of order there was no freezer in the fridge no bath tub the window didn't open.

There was not a breakfast

service in the restaurant

Location near airport

Room 1 - irritating chlorine odor Room 2 - old cigarette smoke odor

I LOVE THIS HOTEL. Sarah has checked me in twice and is always so lovely. The place is huge, clean, new, and wonderful. Hot tub and pool are great also. 3 min walk to the airport for early morning flights. Lots of parking.

Nothing. Love this place.

The rooms were well designed, not perfect but pretty good. I liked the nightlight feature in the bathroom - saved me from blinding lights if I needed to get up at night. I also liked the microwave in the room, the good use of space, and the bed was comfy. Staff was great both at the front desk and at the restaurant.

Our room had a barn door for the bathroom (hate those) and the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. It was also possible to hear noisy people in the hall and there was some weird mechanical noise that woke me up each morning around 6am.

Location is excellent. Walking distance to the airport.

Heater is too loud.

The location after coming off a late night flight is ideal. The bed was comfortable.

The shower door literally fell off in my hand as I was stepping into the shower. Therefore, I was unable to take a shower late at night when I wanted one; instead, ended up, having to wash myself using a washcloth and the bathroom sink. When I showed the photos to the checkout staff in the morning, all they did was apologizing and offered to comp two beers.

The pool was nice and clean

Our room hadn’t been cleaned. There were candy wrappers in the room that weren’t ours and there was a plastic knife in the hide-a-bed couch our daughter slept in.

Clean, new, comfy

No towels in pool area

All the staff were fabulous! LARGE room for the King Suite. Located right across the street from the airport. Ample parking. On-site restaurant was quite good.

I was in a room next to the stairs so it was a bit loud but nothing turning my white noise machine on couldn't fix.

The staff is outstanding and the rooms are spacious and very clean.

I am not sure how the breakfasts are now. I know that they transitioned to a breakfast - I tried it at the beginning and it was about a C....this was during transition, so it may be great by now.

The room was great

My partner was allergic to the cleaner

Pool and location

Not have a simple complimentary breakfast

New good location

Tv worked partially first night and not at all second

The staff was aboslutely amazing. The hotel is pretty new so its very clean, spacious, and modern. Lovely pool, hot tub, and sauna. Walking distance (3 min) to the Bellingham Airport.

There was a very loud group of boys in the pool for a birthday. Since the pool and hot tub are indoors, if was deafening. Not the hotel's fault at all. The parents fault for sure.

Tremendous value! It’s a very solid option, particularly for folks that want some pool time or are traveling with a dog.

Excellent location adjacent to the airport , friendly staff , squeaky clean rooms with quality linen on a very comfortable bed. All the amenities you could ask for and a buffet breakfast too ! Need to stay and park while on vacation ? They offer this at a very reasonable price . This will be our go to hotel when travelling out of Bellingham airport .

Location

No room service

Location was a little out of the way, but really enjoyed the price.

Somewhat noisy air handler system.

Great location, steps from the airport. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very clean space !

Clean and comfortable. Safe and great parking. Easy access from freeway, near airport, but quiet. Great parking. Nice pool, hot tub and steam rooms. Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff.

Was disappointed with breakfast. When entered buffet all but one table was covered with used dishes, no one was clearing any tables. Scrambled eggs were runny, bacon very greasy, no muffins of any kind.

I liked the great restaurant on premises, l liked that everything was clean and well maintained, I liked that the quality of the premises and rooms were set to a standard. These things make me feel comfortable. I also felt like my belongings and vehicle were safe while staying there.

The elevators were a bit janky. While getting on the elevator with the doors open it would raise a few inches all of a sudden. They were jerky and made you wonder about safety. That was the only thing I could think of.

Beautiful rooms not too big rooms different to other hotels in furniture design I liked that it is different

Could not find my way out of carpal in the dark from the airport had to cut across mud go under wire bit scary especially as I have a visual impairment

I loved my room and furnishings It was very clean, and the bed / pillows were comfotable. All the staff were helpfull, kind and friendly. They made my stay even better! I would definitlly stay there again!

The breakfasts were the worst part of my stay. The fact they cost 15$ which I did not expect ( my fault for not reading more closely) one day they ran out of food and staff was over worked and had not kept up with clearing tables. The second morning there was plemty of staff and food but it was all cold.(ie eggs, sausage pancakes...) . I chose not to go back the next 2 mornings. Dinners were great, I chose to only eat then.. Dinners were well staffed with great servers.

friendly, welcoming staff. comfortable quiet room. proximity to airport… and great little restaurant on premises

Close to everything, clean, nice pool and sauna. Great breakfast, although not included, but we had free kid vouchers.

The hot tub wasn’t working

Needs a free breakfast. Pet friendly.

No free breakfast...grab and run.

Nico and Sarah were amazing at making sure we had everything we needed with providing extra blankets, towels and knowing how to get around town. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day and the $15 breakfast buffet was good as well.

The eggs for the buffet were very bland and buttery.

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and well laid out. 3-5 minutes walk to airport.

The heater is very loud, making it difficult to sleep while it was on.

Location, comfort

Sliding door off tracks, defeated purpose of having 2 rooms... when having two rooms was the reason we specifically booked the room. There was a sping sticking out of the side of the pull out bed. Maybe this is normal. It seemed odd to me. There were no additional linens in the room to make up the pull out bed.

Great staff! Super friendly and Sarah knew my name on arrival 😁 Naf at the bar was an excellent server and bartender! Nico in the morning was able to graciously grant us a late check-out while our errands ran later than expected. The room itself was great! Nice furnishings and quite comfortable. Location was easy for us and would be beyond convenient if you're flying in or out.

Restaurant on site. Pool area. Comfortable beds. Nice quiet rooms

Nothing

I have stayed at multiple holiday inn express and always I had great experience . Unfortunate to state this is the worst of all , giving one star also feels I am rating to higher . The management does not have courtesy and right attitude to talk . They stole our stuff and entered room to move furniture without permission . I suggest stay away from this place and the manager Meghan seems to be on vacation and does not care about customer experience .

Loved the location, the staff was great and the rooms were amazing...clean, comfortable and modern.

Nothing

Spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, nice shower and most importantly it was very quiet! I heard very little hallway noise and nothing at all from neighboring rooms. Slept well every night.

Minor things. No free breakfast and the hotel restaurant was pretty basic. WiFi was slow (but there is good 5g coverage which I used instead) and the tv didn’t support any streaming services (pretty standard at most hotels these days)

There were dark long hairs on the bathroom floor (not mine/ours), the trash bin had brown liquid dripping down the side, the breakfast booths are very ripped up and broken, $15 for watery carton scrambled eggs is not worth it, housekeeping did not come over 2 nights, staff were not helpful/friendly about helping me find a luggage cart to bring stuff in while i wrangled my 1-year-old, noise travels easily.

Clean and modern property. Friendly staff. Great restaurant/great food. Spacious room, great view. Ample parking. You have a laundry room. Front desk kindly provided a laundry bag. Nice little cantina with drinks and snacks. Roomy lobby.

We were in town for a funeral. Laundry machine use is not complimentary (requires coins/money). Rooms did not have provided laundry bag.

We went to the restaurant to have breakfast before we could pick up our rental car at the airport. The buffet was not good and the price made it worse.

We are there every year the restaurant use to have a menu to order from for breakfast and the breakfast was good. The breakfast buffet and the cost of to quality of food on the buffet were very disappointing
