Eine sehr stilvoll restaurierte Kashba mit einem sehr zuvorkommenden, sympathischen Wirt und Mitarbeiter. Das Essen, aus der Region, war auch sehr gut wie auch die Hausführung.

Het is wennen dat het wc papier niet in het toilet mag, maar dat kleine oncomfortabel dingetje nemen we er graag bij.

Tout est parfait au labyrinth kasbah dades, de l'accueil chaleureux de Mehdi au décor à la propreté de la kasbah sans oublier ses bons petits repas.Nous avons adoré partager les repas avec lui et son assistant, on s'est crû en famille.

Came as guests, left as family. Host Mehdi and Younes did everything they could to make it our best stay. Beautiful view and the hotel is full of museum artifacts.

It's a beautiful property well managed 30 min drive to the Dades Gorge. The owner & staff ( Yunis) are very warm & friendly.

Il a su transformer ce bien familial en un véritable havre de paix à taille humaine, c'est propre, c'est bien décoré, la vue sur les montagnes des terrasses est magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Non seulement d'être un professionnel de l'hôtellerie Mehdi est également guide officiel sur la région du Dadès, nous avons pu profiter de ses explications et de ses connaissances pour parfaire notre séjour ! Je recommande fortement ce lieux qui est d'une qualité/prix défiant toute concurrence !! Merci Mehdi pour ta disponibilité 😉

Sehr schöne Unterkunft am Beginn des Dades-Tals mit schöner Aussicht. Der Eigentümer hat alles sehr originell gestaltet und ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Essen. Das Gebäude ist eine alte Kasbah, aber gar nicht so unübersichtlich wie der Name nahelegen würde. Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

We came to Dades for hiking the Monkey Fingers (you do not need a guide if you have a hiking app to assist). This was a nice place to stay for two nights. The breakfast was nice. We opted to eat dinner here one night. It was very good!

Eine wirklich ganz besondere Unterkunft!! Mehdi ist so ein warmherziger Gastgeber. Wir fühlten uns von der ersten Minute an wie zuhause. Das Haus ist extrem charmant und die Terrasse ein Traum! Wir bekamen ein sehr leckeres Abendessen und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker! Wir wären sehr gerne länger geblieben und hoffen auf ein nächstes Mal.

Nous avons tout aimé dans cette Kasbah. L'accueil de Mehdi, le propriétaire, est extraordinaire de gentillesse, d'attention et de professionnalisme. Tout est beau et ludique ! Le meilleur repas que nous ayons fait également, une cuisine succulente. Mehdi nous a aussi accompagné en rando et nous a fait déjeuner le lendemain midi chez une famille marocaine, génial ! Maintenant, il y a une route goudronnée qui relie la vallée des roses et un peu au nord de Boumalne Dadès, c'est top pour accéder à Labyrinth Kasbah.

Kasbah di famiglia ristrutturata con amore e passione da Mahdi, ospite eccezionale e premuroso che ci ha accolto con tanto calore da farci sentire subito a "casa". Ogni angolo è curato nei minimi particolari, splendide terrazze con vista sulla gola. Atmosfera magica. Cena e colazione deliziose, preparate e presentate con grande cura. Siamo stati solo una notte ma ci è sembrato di aver lasciato un amico.

Mehdi ist ein perfekter Gastgeber. Herzlich, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Als Wanderführer kennt er alle schönen Ecken der Dades Schlucht und hat immer einen passenden Tipp. Die Lage ist wunderbar, von den Dachterrassen hat man einen tollen Blick ins Tal. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber sehr sauber, wie das gesamte Kasbah. Preis-/Leistung ist eigentlich eine 20/10.

Without a doubt, our best stay in Morocco. The property is a beautifully restored traditional kasbah, with comfortable rooms and panoramic terraces. But what truly sets Labyrinth Kasbah Dades apart is the phenomenal hospitality of Mehdi, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until the day we left—going far beyond what you'd expect from a typical host (and since it was low season, we were also upgraded to a better room). We highly recommend booking the dinner, which was excellent, carefully prepared, and different from the usual tagines and skewers. Also, if you're interested in visiting the Monkey Fingers (very close to the kasbah), Mehdi is also a certified guide, so don't forget to ask to take you on a beautiful hike to explore the spectacular landscapes of the area. We truly hope to come back someday.

the view from the terrace is spectacular, the rooms are furnished with attention to detail and the host is attentive and available to support all the needs of the guests including reservations for dinner or hiking activities. it was a pleasure to stay there.

We like everything about Labyrinth Kasbah. It is clean with free parking in front of property. Mehdi is the best manager and provides what we need. The breakfast is very tasty and we tried dinner (130 MAD/person for the menu), very tasty. Because he was busy with big group for tour guide, He recommended his friend to guide us for monkey fingers hiking which is highlighted for our trip. Highly recommended.

We had an exceptional stay in Labyrinth Kasbah Dades: all trip, we felt extremely welcome. The Kasbah itself is a labyrinth indeed, with cosy nooks and crannies, and two roof top terraces with very nice views. We got a nice and cool basement room, and enjoyed both dinners and breakfasts a lot. Most special however was the day trip host Mehdi put together for us: we enjoyed the beauty of the local nature, but also learnt how the local people in the small old villages live. Especially this new perspective we'll never forget.

Hassan and Mehdi are part of the kindest host you will ever meet in Marocco. Always attention for you, taking care of your stay. I stayed one night in this labyrinth and it was wonderful. You will enjoy beautiful landscape from one of the three terrace. The food was also amazing , wonderful breakfasts and dinner. I can only recommend you to go there!

I could only stay one night

The owner, Mehdi will go out of his way to help with whatever you need. He is a local tour guide and knows the area quite well. He will help you get to your destinations and ensure that you get the most of your stay. His brother Hassan is a wonderful cook and lovely to chat with, so is his cousin! The food offered at the Kasbah is wonderful traditional Moroccan and the breakfast is a must. He ensured that our four bicycles were locked up every night and safe.

Everything! A big thank you for the warm hospitality of Mehdi, Hassan and the entire hard working team, that made my stay memorable! Mehdi gave me all the help I needed for my hiking plans, and there was delicious dinner to look forward to each night. Felt like a home away from home for the two nights I stayed. The property has been done up tastefully in traditional style, and has several interesting pieces collected by Mehdi over the years. Spectacular views from all the terraces, cosy and comfortable rooms that gave me sound sleep. And great value for money too, what more can one ask for!

I was travelling by public transport, so the place is a little remote, but there are enough local taxi options.

The owner is delightful & has put a great deal of love into bringing the Kasbah back to life. It is clean & comfortable. Parking at the front door. The food that comes from the kitchen is excellent & great value. It is a homely, guesthouse run by an incredibly authentic & interesting gentleman.

If you want a fancy hotel then this is not for you.

Everything was perfect, from the room to the terrace and the amazing meal. It's easily one of my favourite places I've ever stayed - thank you so much for an amazing experience, and I hope to return again soon!

We hired Mehdi as a private guide to explore the Dades Gorge. His knowledge of the area is superb and he is energetic, friendly and mutilingual. I can strongly recommend him to anyone wishing to explore the area. ( we did not use his accommodation)

Real hidden gem, we felt truly welcome. The owner is a born host, who went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and exceeded our expectations. We will stay longer next time, also to further explore the area around the premise

It’s not you usual 4 star hotel but hand in heart I prefer this place , I travels from Ireland on my motorcycle and all the places I went through and eat hand in heart this place was the best of them all

Madhi took us on a hike around the village of Ait Ibrirne. He greeted us with his warm-hearted manner, even in German. During the 2 hours of the hike, he showed and explained to us (in English) how people live here today and how they used to live in the past. We learned how water is distributed in the village today, how the village community takes special care of needy inhabitants, where the children go to school and much more. Madhi does this with all his heart, his connection and love for his homeland is absolutely palpable. This made our hike with him a wonderful, entertaining and impressive experience. It was a wonderful morning for us. We can wholeheartedly recommend Madhi and his guide if you want a tour with substance and heart. Having seen so many old kasbahs left to fall apart, it was fantastic to stay in one that had been so carefully restored. Host Mehdi and his wife were very friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious - not a tajine in sight! Beautiful walks and stunning rooftop terrace. Highly recommended!

So far the most heartwarming host. The breakfast and dinner consisted of multiple foods, and were exceptional. The accommodation has the perfect location to explore the region and the terrace had a beautiful view.

We stayed during winter and the accommodation was a bit cold during the night, but that seems to be an issue in most accommodations in Morocco.

Everything !!! The owner - Mehdi is such an amazing host, well educated in the industry and he proves this with every gesture he makes, he loves his Kasbah, you see he has his heart in the place. He was very helpful, friendly, we really didn't want to leave the place but hey, we have a new friend in Morocco we want see again! We like everything about this property, we had terrible journey from Marrakesh to the mountains due to the rain, there were several rivers on the road, it took us 12 hrs from Marrakesh by car, the owner Mehdi waited for us until midnight. My daughter was sick during the journey, she vomited several times. Mehdi washed her clothes the next day, prepared her special tea. He was just great. The breakfast is very tasty and we tried dinner (13euro/person for the menu), very tasty. My son had birthday, Mehdi organised small bday party for him with no extra cost. We cannot thank Mehdi enough. We felt very welcomed. We will definitelly come back.

This gorgeous, perfectly located Kasbah is a MUST, if you want to explore the Dades and Todra gorges, and region. Quirkily decorated with antique artefacts and family heirlooms, hospitality, friendliness, creativity & helpfulness are just a few of the things that we remember very fondly. Mehdi, the owner, goes above and beyond! Another reason why we would always visit this place again is the delicious Moroccan cuisine offered. For sure the best place we stayed in all of Morocco. We stayed in this Kasbah for 4 nights in late September. It’s very comfortable, very clean, great breakfast, especially the Berber Omelette. Medhi the manager and owner will ensure you are well looked after. The views across the valley are exceptional. Kasbah is well placed to have visits to a number of site seeing opportunities, especially Dades Gorge. An excellent Kasbah to stay, which we recommend

This kasba is a very special place with the wonderful cook Somaya and the very knowledgeable, friendly, multilingual, talkative and enthusiastic host Mehdi :-) We stayed there for three days (a family with 3 teenagers) and enjoyed it so much! We had 3 great breakfasts and dinners 'at home' at the beautiful terrace with the views on the Dades valley, a lovely experience 😊 We also went hiking with our host and guide Mehdi, which was very enjoyable. We hiked the Monkey fingers trail, a hike through a beautiful gorge, partly crossing the river, admiring turtles and grand oleander bushes and did an evening stroll around the village passing waterfalls. We highly recommend Mehdi both as a host and as a tour guide! He speaks French, English, Dutch, German and I believe also Spanish, but that's the only language I did not hear him speak. Make sure you stay for more than one night, as this is such a special place and environment!! After three days we still had the feeling that there was more to explore, we will definitely come back! Charming and unique guest house in the beautiful Dades Valley. The views from the terrace are stunning and the food was delicious. Breakfast is included and dinner was very reasonably priced. Mehdi is a friendly and gracious host and this was previously his family's home. We stayed for two nights so we could enjoy hiking in the valley and wish we could've stayed longer.

My wife wondered whether we should it the Mehdi hotel (rather than the labyrinth des kasbah); I guess all other reviews reveal why so let me be brief. Mehdi simply breathes hospitality & will do everything is his power to make your stay in Morocco as pleasant as possible. His approach comes very authentic and that's something you wille feel immediately. As a host he brings the joy & peace into the place. Regarding the food: don't even think of eating elsewhere; his cooking is really great & very good value for money. Great place to explore the beautiful are of the Gorges des Dades (and even the Gorges the Todra, which I did). Highly recommendable!

Mehdi is an excellent host, so we immediately felt at home. You can tell that his kasbah is built with a lot of heart and soul. We had a fantastic view and a delicious breakfast on the roof terrace and went on a great hike through the gorges with a very helpful and relaxed guide. The rooms are clean and tidy, can absolutely recommend.

Mehdi is the most welcoming of hosts at this eclectic Riad. He has converted his family home to provide comfortable accommodation with beautiful views from the terrace. We could tell that he has poured his heart and soul into decorating this beautiful guest house - every nook and cranny is a delight for the eyes! Although there is no liquor license, guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, provided they can produce a receipt of proof of purchase. My mother and I particularly enjoyed the outstanding food - the best we tasted in all of Morocco!

Very beautiful original guest house, run by a young man and his family. Very relaxing setting with many teraces overlooking the river valley. Home is very close to the start of a hiking trail and infact owner himself, could tell one a lot about the hike, or if he has an opportunity he can take you for a hike himself, as he is a licensed guide. We have stayed only one day, but we have experienced so much honest hospitality that we really recommend you to stop for the night here. In addition food is all from local produce and very tasty!

Excellent location. Guest house was nicely decorated and there were lots of places to explore. Medhi (the owner) was lovely! He was really friendly and happy to provide tips for seeing Morocco. The rooms are spacious.

This place has amazing reviews but I think we might have been unlucky as we didn't get to experience what everyone else seems to mention, perhaps as Medhi wasn't there initially. We found the dinner overpriced (150MAD) - there was no menu we just ordered over the phone and one of our orders was wrong. They advised dinner would be at 8pm but we weren't served until 08.30pm. Medhi was very apologetic about this. He offered us free breakfast which was a lovely gesture but seeing as we don't eat breakfast, we asked for a mint tea after dinner instead. There was no mint in the tea and the next day, they asked us to pay for it. There was a mild smell in both bathrooms but easily fixed by closing the bathroom door.

I could not fault my stay at this beautiful eclectic Kasbah. Mehdi has transformed his family’s Kasbah to accomodation that feels like a comfortable and welcoming home away from home. The hospitality of the owner and his committment to making it a great ecperience

Our night felt more like a friend inviting us into his home than a stay in a hotel. Mehdi greeted us with open arms and as he puts it made sure we always have a smile on our face. It was a very intimate atmosphere and all the guests ate the amazing dinner and breakfast together, with Mehdi joining at the end for some interesting stories. Will definitely come back to this beautiful place, until then!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Labyrinth Kasbah! Our host was exceptional and truly made us feel at home, and we thoroughly enjoyed connecting with him over our trip. This bohemian-style stay was beautiful, had an exceptional view, and was exactly the experience we were looking for. We would recommend staying here to anyone passing through!

Several things that stands out from this kasbah: 1. As the name of this place indicates, the place is so uniquely designed like a maze in a good way. 2. We really enjoyed our breakfast time on the terrace with the valley view and the little animal farm with sheeps, chickens, and cats. 3. Dinner was delicious. We ordered a vegetarian tagine and a chicken tajine. And I’d say it’s the best chicken tagine I had had during my entire trip in Morocco. Thanks to the chief! 4. The host and staff are super friendly and nice. As far as we can hear, the host Mehdi speaks very good English and French. 5. Location is great. And parking is available right by the kasbah.

Cannot recommend Labyrinth enough. Mehdi and his childhood friend welcomed us with open arms in what used to be their family home. They are very passionate about hospitality and it shows in the details. We had great dinner, great breakfast (breakfast was included in the price, a nice surprise) and we also had a great +/- hour hike through the valley where we were honored to meet Mehdi's dad irrigating their field. The place is beautifully decorated and the view is breathtaking, photos don’t do it justice. This is not your run of the mill hotel experience, but 1 man's passion to create the best way to experience Morocco, and in particular the area where he grew up. Ask Mehdi about it, he will love to tell you all about it. 10/10.

Mehdi was so lovely and thoughtful in every aspect of the stay. His home and his story were so welcoming and he was a wonderful host to us. He gave great tips on local walks and gave us such a good evening of chatting and the history of his home
