De kamer

Het ontbijt en het eten in het hotel waren erg teleurstellend. Alles smaakte weinig vers en het aanbod was niet aantrekkelijk. Het fruit bij het ontbijt zag er bijvoorbeeld verlebberd uit, en mijn man is ziek geworden nadat hij yoghurt had gegeten. Ook de prijzen voor de wasservice zijn buitensporig hoog: het hotel rekent 30 THB voor één paar sokken, terwijl je om de hoek voor slechts 40 THB een volledige kilo was kunt laten doen. Wat ons echter het meest heeft teleurgesteld, was de houding van het personeel toen ik met mijn zieke zoon na een rit met de nachttrein aankwam. Hij had meer dan 40 graden koorts en voelde zich erg zwak. Hoewel er een kamer beschikbaar was, kregen we simpelweg te horen dat we moesten bijbetalen als we eerder gebruik wilden maken van de kamer. We hebben tijdens onze reis door Thailand nergens anders zo'n gebrek aan begrip en behulpzaamheid meegemaakt. Op alle andere plaatsen werden we juist erg gastvrij en behulpzaam ontvangen. Daarom was dit hotel voor ons een grote teleurstelling.

Tweede keer in Samen Street hotel, en het beviel weer uitstekend. Je zit in een vrij rustig gedeelte met genoeg restaurantjes en winkels maar je bent zo in het drukke gedeelte Khao San Road etc. Het zwembad is fijn en het Hotel is fijn zeker met kids.

Buena ubicación. Estaba todo limpio. Buen ambiente y personal amable. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Que no hi hagi aire acondicionat als espais comuns, passadissos ets.. surts habitació i molta calor.

Zimmer sind sauber und von der Größe und Ausstattung wirklich gut. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super (Omelett werden nach Wunsch frisch zubereitet, ...). Der Pool (mit Kinoleinwand) im Innenhof ist nach einem langen Tag in Bangkok ein Willkommener Abschluss. Wir wären zum zweiten Mal hier und würden das Hotel für unsere Bangkok Aufenthalte jederzeit wieder wählen.

Ottima posizione per poter visitare le attrazioni principali. Struttura molto moderna e pulita. Stanza molto grande. Ottima la presenza della piscina con maxischermo. Staff davvero gentile e disponibile.

Estás en el centro antiguo de Bangkok, a un paseo de las calles de ambiente, pero sin el bullicio. Tiene una piscina pequeña pero muy cómoda, y el personal es muy atento.

La cama es muy dura y la ducha no tiene agua caliente, es templada.

Wir waren zum 3. mal dort und es war wieder total super! Frühstück lecker, Zimmer sauber, schöner Pool und perfekte Lage. Großer Dank geht auch ans Housekeeping, die machen einen tollen Job! Wir kommen wieder!

El desayuno buenisimo, un hotel moderno y diferente con cine a las noches desde la piscina, limpio y bien ubicado.

Le doy un 10 a pesar de que no funcionaba el agua caliente, pero bueno en tailandia no importa tanto.

Struttura molto accogliente, colazione ottima. Camere pulite e rifornite di tutto il necessario. Posizione molto buona per visitare Bangkok si trova in una via tranquilla a poca distanza dalla zona turistica ottimo anche per muoversi con i grab.

Tweede keer dat we waren. Hadden dezelfde soort kamer, maar deze was een stuk krapper. Nog steeds een perfecte uitvalsbasis, prima ontbijt. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

There was a little smell in my Room i did not like.

Temiz, yeterli büyüklükte oda. Süper soğutan klima. Personel güleryüzlü, kibarlar, otelcilik anlayışı var. Check in check out hızlı. Kahvaltı yeterli. Omlet de yapıyorlar. Peynir yoktu, sanırım öyle bir kültür yok. Avrupadaki ülkelerin birçoğuna göre kahvaltı çeşidi fazlaydı.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden wiederkommen. Sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, großer Pool und ein paar Besonderheiten, wie der allabendliche Filmabend vom Pool oder Balkon aus. Die Kinder waren begeistert.

Was clean

Rude staff who stole 600 baht from me, I brought breakfast for 3 days and planned on having it on my last 3 days. And I was told I couldn’t and that it had expired and I to have it the first 3 days never such nonce in my life, also I was never informed about this or told I had to eat my breakfast within the 3 days. They refused me a refund or even an apology and became hostile and rude in front of everyone. After this they never greeted me again after when they would see me, just a bunch of miserable weird poor people who think they can steal from foreigners. Also the hotel is not worth the price they charge, it way better to be more central Bangkok for the same price or better with more respectful staff that try to fix a problem and know proper customer service I will ever never book here again!!!!

Hier al eerder geweest. Is een heel fijn hotel voor een verblijf in Bangkok. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel, fijne kamers, goede bedden, prima ontbijt en op loopafstand van de drukte.

It was located where we needed to be, it was comfortable enough & staff were polite, a little old & quiet, the restaurant was reasonably priced but staff not friendly, the hotel tour guy was the standout, but I think not part of the hotel at at all, all in all it was pleasant

Restaurant staff were rude, the place is a little run down i think the pics are filtered or old, but good budget accommodation.

Heel mooi hotel, relaxte sfeer, aangenaam zwembad. In een rustige straat gelegen maar toch vlakbij alles; toffe wijk, veel restaurants en winkels. Aanrader!

Ce n’est pas ma première fois dans cet hotel et toujours satisfaite. La gentillesse, la propreté, le petit-déjeuner, la localisation. Bref un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Je recommande!

Very good value for the money, cheaper than many private hostel rooms in the Kohsan area. The room was huge, very clean, and quiet. Guy at the tours desk was super-helpful and even called to confirm my bus station for me (even though I had booked my ticket outside the hotel myself online). Thank you!

Había solo un pequeño espejo en la habitación.

Erg vriendelijk personeel. De buurt waarin het hotel ligt is rustig maar toch op loopafstand van alle drukte. Prima bedden. Ze zijn hard maar we hebben er heerlijk op geslapen. Leuk zwembad met bioscoop. Ontbijt was prima.

The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent.

The breakfast is decent for a European traveler, but there isn't much variety. There are very few vegetables and no cheese at all. The mattress was hard.

Сами номера хорошие для 3 звезд. Завтраки тоже неплохие. Но отель в общем оставил не самое хорошее впечатление.

Главная претензия - в море напротив отеля купаться нельзя, дно в камнях, на камнях ежи. Есть бассейн, но небольшой, с резким запахом хлорки и мало лежаков. Однозначно не рекомендую. Нашли потом 4* отель на процентов 15 дороже, но в разы лучше

Bardzo fajny hote, smaczne śniadania i przemiła obsługa. Bardzo dobre jedzenie w hotelowej restauracji. Ciałkiem przyjemny basen, gdzie w upalne dni po intensywnym zwiedzaniu można się schłodzić.

Trochę słabe ciśnienie wody i niezbyt ciepła. (chociaż nie zawsze).

Das gut in der Altstadt von Bangkok gelegene Hotel verfügt über großzügige, saubere und gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Auch das Frühstück ist solide und ausreichend. Der Pool und die abendlichen Filmvorführungen sind besonders hervorzuheben. In der näheren Umgebung befinden sich fussläufig Restaurants, Bars und Cafés. Wen es ins Wilde Nachtleben der Kao San Road zieht, kann in ca.10-15 min dort sein. Wir waren das erste Mal in Bangkok und können das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

Wenn man etwas bemängeln möchte, wäre es wahrscheinlich die „schlechte“ Anbindung zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr (MRT). Der Fußweg zur nächsten Station beträgt ca. 30 min. Das ist aber durch günstige Grab-Fahrten kompensierbar.

Voor ons persoonlijk was het iets teveel een "jongeren" hotel. Wij houden toch van iets kleiner en persoonlijker. Voor zo'n groot hotel, te weinig ligbedden bij het zwembad. Maar 5!

Si, muy cómodo, el personal eficiente y muy amable y atento. Todo muy limpio, buen almuerzo y buenas opciones de comida y cena. Excelente el servicio de excursiones y actividades. Genial poder ver cine desde la piscina.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße und bietet damit eine angenehme Auszeit vom Trubel Bangkoks. Die Khao San Road ist in etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, und Restaurants sowie kleine Geschäfte befinden sich direkt um die Ecke. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und das Bett äußerst bequem. Auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei. Die gesamte Anlage machte einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck, und der Pool im Innenhof war ein echtes Highlight. Besonders begeistert hat uns die große Leinwand über dem Pool, auf der abends Filme gezeigt werden. Nachts im Pool zu schwimmen und dabei einen Film zu schauen, war eine außergewöhnlich schöne Atmosphäre und für uns das absolute Highlight des Aufenthalts. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Check-in und Check-out verliefen problemlos. Auch das Frühstück hat uns mit seiner guten Auswahl und Qualität überzeugt. Für uns stimmt hier einfach alles: tolle Lage, moderne und saubere Zimmer, freundlicher Service, gutes Frühstück und eine besondere Atmosphäre. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

One of the staff messaged me on social media filtering it with me and keep insisting if I was staying there, he even told me my room number,and absolutely stalker, I was really worried and I blocked him, that is absolutely out of order and I was worried about my wellbeing, being in another country and an absolute cringe telling you your room number, I was worried he would enter my room or something, he was young-ish , darker skin-ish, slim and dark hair if that helps, but you shouldn't allow this to happen as hotel has confidentiality and that was really concerning I didn't want to mark the stay as very low as the rest was great but if you are in dating apps and you work there , that doesn't mean give you any right to stalk one of your guests at all, that's absolutely disgusting and scary, as soon as he was asking me if I was staying in that hotel I was concerned but when he told me my room number I was absolutely scared as if he would try to do something, I was even thinking to call the police but again being in a different country you neger know what could end up like

The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was possibly the best we’ve had. The water pressure was great which really makes a difference on hair washing day. It was big. The shower door was sealed well so there wasn’t a single leak which kept the bathroom floor dry at all times. Breakfast was ok. Not a huge range but good enough. It had an egg station. Salt water pool. Quiet area but not too far from the main area. Some restaurants and cafes nearby along with a 7/11. Staff were friendly. If you arrive early or leave late, they have a shower you can use if needed which is quite handy if you have a late flight back home.

The tv didn’t really have any movie channels or anything so had to watch movies from our devices. The sink is outside of the bathroom which could be annoying for some and the lighting over the vanity isn’t very good which I know would annoy some for putting on make up or guys trying to shave.

Hotel was clean, room was large and they played movies on a screen over the pool in the evenings which was cool. Close to lots of restaurants bars, super easy to get around. Breakfast in the morning was great with heaps of options. Very comfortable stay. I accidentally made an error with my booking and booked dates incorrectly. Staff were so, so kind and patient in helping me sort it out

Hotel could do a little more for entertainment. The only options even when busier are swimming pool with movie nights, but needs provide some more entertainment options. Especially when the hotel offers hostel-like dorms. Needs to have hostel-like entertainment / activity options.

Todo!! Es muy lindo lugar, súper limpio, moderno, cuidado. Proyectan películas en la pared de la piscina... El desayuno es increíble.

Posizione buona per visitare anche a piedi la città. Colazione buona, cinema é una buona idea e particolare.

Lo staff della reception non ha soddisfatto una richiesta palesemente fattibile, abbiamo chiesto la sera prima se era possibile farci trovare pronto qualcosa della colazione per il giorno dopo prima dell'orario di apertura visto che avevamo delle escursioni, ma la richiesta ci é stata negata. Ovviamente non esigevamo che ci venissero cucinate delle uova al momento, ma per esempio bastava prendere un muffin (che sono sicuramente preparati prima dell'orario di apertura), un bicchiere di succo o anche solo una bottiglietta d'acqua e portarli in reception. Poca elasticità mentale, bastava veramente poco visto che abbiamo oagato 3 colazioni e abbiamo usufruito di una sola.

Wij hadden een deluxe kamer. Dit zijn grote kamers waarin alle faciliteiten aanwezig zijn. De mensen van het hotel zijn heel vriendelijk een behulpzaam. Je kan lekker even afkoelen in het zwembad. Het ontbijt is ook top. Je hebt een ruime keuze.

Kamers vlakbij de lift kunnen daar overlast van ervaren. Er mogen nog wel wat ligbedjes bij aan het zwembad.

El personal es muy amable, estaba todo limpio, aire acondicionado funcionaba a la perfección, usamos la pileta una sola vez y estaba limpia. El desayuno tenia varias opciones para todos los gustos .Cerca del hotel hay varios restaurantes de diferentes precios y buenos. Podes llegar a Khao San caminando 10 a 15 mi.

What a great place, plenty of restaurants and places to walk to and just a short grab ride to the metro stations. Spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. Even though there are hostel facilities here it was still quiet and felt peaceful. Brilliant value for money especially as breakfast was included in our price, plenty of choice of food options. The pool area was a welcome relief from the Bangkok heat although sunbeds are limited in numbers.

Single use small bottles of shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, never understand why refillable dispensers aren’t used in hotel bathrooms to help with the amount of plastic waste which is generated. WiFi was constantly dropping out but this seems to be quite a common issue in many places we stayed
