Reviewed Jan 15, 2026בית טמפלרי אמיתי מקסים, תחושת ירושלים של פעם. על רחוב בית לחם , קרוב לסינמטק, לתחנה הראשונה, גן הפעמון ועוד. אותנטי מבפנים ומבחוץ. שופץ באופן ששומר על הפריטים המקוריים אבל גם מפנק. יש מטבחון קטן עם מיקרו, מקרר וקומקום ופינת אוכל לשניים. לא לבישול אבל כן אפשר לחמם אם מביאים אוכל או מזמינים. בעלי המקום מאוד נחמדים, מסבירים על הבית ושורשיו. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה שמוגשת (בחורף) באוהל מחומם יפה בגינה. נהנינו מאוד תודה
הבית נמצא עם דרך בית לחם ולמרות החלונות הכפולים שומעים את רעש הרחוב. לרגישים מאוד לרעש (כמוני) לקח קצת זמן להירדם בלילה (ועוד היינו בשישי). בעלי אפילו לא שמע...☺️

Reviewed Dec 22, 2025בית מיוחד מאד, עם היסטוריה מעניינת. יובל בעל הבית קיבל אותנו בסבר פנים יפות, הסביר לנו על ההיסטוריה של הבית ושל משפחתו. הבית שופץ בקפידה ובזהירות כדי שישמר מקורי ככל שניתן. יובל קיבל אותנו יותר מוקדם משיה 15:00 והיה פתוח כדי לעזור לנו בכל נושא. ישנה חניה ברחוב שבדרך כלל היתה פנויה וללא תשלום.

* הגענו בשעות הצהריים ולקח לנו זמן למצוא חניה , בסוף חנינו במרחק של כ100 מטר מהבית הטמפלרי (חשוב לציין שיותר מאוחר לקראת שעות הערב התפנתה הרבה חניה חינם ברחוב בית לחם בצמוד לבית) * לי אישית היתה חסרה כרית גדולה יותר🙃

Reviewed Dec 3, 2025אהבתי מאוד את המארחים ,אנשים עם לב רחב שממש חשוב להם שהאורחים ירגישו בנח ,,אהבתי את החשיבה על הפרטים הקטנים שהם בעצם עושים את האוירה הביתית.. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה ממש כמו בסיפורים של" איידי בת ההרים"מזינה ,וטעימה . המיקום מעולה ,הצימר מאוד נח ונעים ,החצר מהממת. . בקיצור מאוד נהנינו בעלי ואני.
הכל היה מקסים ממש!!!

Reviewed Nov 9, 2025הבית העומד ליד מלון 5 כוכבים ושאינו מוגדר בדרוג הכוכבים אך אנחנו הרגשנו כאילו קיבלנו אלפי כוכבים בשהייתנו במקום. המיקום הנגיש למסעדות לאתרים ולתחבורה ציבורית. עם קצת יוזמה והכרת הסביבה , יש גם חניה ללא תשלום. הצוות , אלון ורוויה,עושים הכל כדי להנעים את השהייה ומבלי לגרום לטורח. עיצותיהם באשר למסעדות היו מצויינות. בקיצור,נשוב.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025בניין עתיק ששופץ מהיסוד בלב המושבה הגרמנית. היינו שני זוגות בשתי יחידות, כל אחת בת שני חדרים. כל יחידה מרווחת מאוד, מעוצבת בטוב טעם ונקייה להפליא. חצר פרטית נעימה, אזור שקט וירוק עם סמטאות קסומות. בסביבה מסעדות טובות, חלקן פתוחות גם בשבתות ובחגים. תיאטרון החאן ותיאטרון ירושלים נמצאים במרחק של כ-15 דקות הליכה, והעיר העתיקה — כחצי שעה הליכה. בעלי המקום, אלון ורויה, פשוט מקסימים — חמים מאוד וזמינים לכל שאלה ובקשה. ארוחת הבוקר עשירה וטעימה. בקיצור — נשמח מאוד לחזור! תודה רבה 🌿

For 800 plus shekels in the middle of the week we expected get more value for money - for example why a strange hole in the middle of the wall? shaky and old furniture? Not good for 100$ a day, very bad for 200+$...

Reviewed Dec 27, 2024Our stay at the Templer Inn was one of the highlights of our time in Jerusalem, and added immeasurable to the overall experience. The location in the German Colony is excellent. Our room was spacious with a separate living area and large bathroom. The best part was interacting with our hosts, the owners, Alon and his wife, Revaya, at the generous breakfast service. The Inn had been Alon's home growing up, and no wonder they take such loving care. He was helpful with my getting there after taking the wrong train. They live nearby, and Alon also provided great recommendations for restaurants within walking distance. He also helped with practical questions about Jerusalem. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jerusalem.

Reviewed Dec 17, 2024He had an unforgettable pleasure time at The Templar Inn. It is situated in great location in German Colony beautiful district, close to restaurants, local stores and bus stops. Many places of interest can be reached by foot or about 20 minutes by bus. The property is about 150 year old beautiful historical building, the host keeps it's historical atmosphere but made all clear, clean and repaired, equipped it with new air conditioners. There is all needed kitchen and bathroom equipment. The Israeli breakfast with home made food is tasty and healthy, gives enough energy for most of the day. The hosts are great people, helpful and hospitable. There was enough room for our family, we stayed for 4 nights and would be glad to return again in the next our visit to Jerusalem.

Parking is only free and close by if you are lucky to find a space on the main street.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2024We spent a great weekend at the Templers house. Location is great, and we enjoyed the proximity to the Tahana and teh german colony to walk around. The room is big and well equiped with all needs/coffe.... Street parking is easy . Alon was very kind and helpfull.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2024The hosts were very helpful. They let us check in early. The building is a restored house from the Templers who lived in Jerusalem in the 19th century. The room we stayed in was in two parts, with a living room-kitchenette and bedroom divided by a few stair. It was peaceful and comfortable. We loved the outside grounds and perhaps the best part of the experience was eating the tasty breakfast outside under lovely trees. The property is a 25 minute, interesting walk to the Old City, and right in the middle of the German Colony's winding alleys, an amazing park along the old railway line and with many shops and cafes.
The pillows weren't that comfortable. (I should have asked for a different one)
