Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Room was spotless, so clean. Loved the brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, face towel all had lovely sayings on the packaging. On my floor was a water station. So you could fill up your water bottles. Having a fridge in the room . A 5minute walk too the local subway. Which was very handy. The price is excellent around £ 43 a night for a 3 star hotel. Havig the BBC news channel on .
Staff bar 1 person were not smiley on reception . Should off been more welcomimg. Bed was too firm a matress for me. Hand towels were a long oblong shape. They were too small and flimsy. Not good quality.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026En general bien, a 4 minutos de la estación de otsuka que conecta la yamanote line (perfecto para moverse hacia shinjuku, Shibuya, entre otros lugares turísticos) con 4 maletas nos fuimos caminando al hotel. Si bien las piezas son pequeñas como en todo Japón anduvimos super bien para una estadía de 4 noches, check in y check out fácil y guardaron nuestras maletas mientras llegaba la hora del check in. Instalaciones muy bien

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr zentral, es liegt direkt an der Bahnlinie „Yamanote Linie“. Mit dieser Linie kommt man super durch die Stadt. Die Gegend ist sehr angenehm und bietet gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Der Stauraum unter dem Bett für die Koffer ist super. Das Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl und es war alles sehr lecker.
Es gibt pro Person zwei Kissen, die sind beide jedoch leider unbequem. Das Zimmer und das Bad sind klein, aber das weiß man vorher.

Dans notre chambre la climatisation (l’air) arrive directement sur le visage de la personne qui dort à droite. Cela peut être désagréable pour certaines personnes. Le personnel parle anglais mais cela reste assez limité comme souvent au Japon. Cependant, ça ne pose pas trop de problème car toutes les informations sont disponibles en anglais.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Ein schönes, solides Hotel, sehr nettes Personal. Sehr hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht. Die Lage war komplett in Ordnung und das Onsen oben auch sehr schön. Wir konnten von dem Hotel aus überallhin Ausflüge machen.
Doppelzimmer sind genauso wie Einzelzimmer und es gab nur eine große Decke für zwei Personen, aber es ging.

Come sempre piena di servizi, posizione ottima vicinissima a diversi mezzi di trasporto e stazione della metro e anche al centro del quartiere molto molto carino!

Das Zimmer war mit 11 qm sehr klein was einen längeren Aufenthalt mit 4 Koffern und 2 Rucksäcken manchmal als schwierig gestaltet. Die Größe des Zimmers stand jedoch in der Beschreibung und wurde nur von mir überlesen.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Apart from all the usual APA facilities, well appointed and maintained room with the ability to store luggage under the bed, public bath etc. The best thing about this APA Hotel is the location, within a very short walking distance to the Yamamote Line. Otsuka itself is a small pleasant vibrant part of Tokyo well worth your time.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026the location is convenient, with a subway station just a short walk away. the room was clean, and if you stay for more than two nights, the hotel will replace your towels and clean the room. the air condition is good too, you can adjust it base on your prefer temperature.
the room is quite smell, so if you have a luggage larger than 26 inches, it can be difficult to open fully and move around comfortably.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026駅からも比較的近く、コンビニも徒歩20秒ほどのところにあったため、立地が非常に良かったです。 今回宿泊させていただいたのは最上階でしたので、ランドリーや温泉にもエレベーターを使うことなく利用することができたので、とても快適でした。 大浴場はこじんまりしていて、他の口コミほど露天風呂も「素晴らしい！」とは感じませんでしたが、都内で1万円以内で宿泊できて、しっかりとした風呂場があるだけでもかなりありがたいと思います。 朝食は期待以上に味も、バランスもよく、特にタコチキンがおいしかったです。アイロンもフロントにて無料で貸していただけたので、サービスも全体的に質が良く、快適に過ごすことができました。
値段以上のものを求めないのであれば、特にこれといって思い当たる点はありません。

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Excellent facilities. Staff very friendly. Room was good. The size works for me as a solo, two may have a harder time managing luggage since its stored under the bed. Best to pack light. Public bath is amazing. Area is amazing, nice and quiet. Away from all the tourists. Its best to go out to the busy districts and come back to this quiet one for peaceful rest. Otsuka station is just down the road.
Breakfast was good but a tad expensive, it is all you can eat buffet style though.

La chambre un peu trop petite. Onsen interdit aux gens tatoués même très tard dans la nuit. Pas assez de lave-linge et sèche-linge.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Modern with incredible views from 19th floor. Immaculately clean and modern. The building behaved as it was designed during the scary 5.8 Richter scale earthquake. It swayed like a bamboo tree. The staff were very polite and professional.
The laundry room is tiny on the 20th floor and there are four small washers and four small dryers that are coin operated. The laundry room is tiny and very hot when all machines are operating. There is a lot of guests using the machines at all times of the day and night and executing a wash and dry operation is arduous. I hope APA can try to improve this.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026De ligging is fantastisch, slechts op drie minuten van station Ōtsuka, aan de Yamanote-lijn. In een klein half uur ben je bij Shibuya. De wijk is rustig, maar toch levendig met voldoende horeca. De onsen op de 20e verdieping is heerlijk!
Het inchecken via een computer is niet handig en niet per se efficiënt.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026De ligging is fantastisch; aan de Yamanote-lijn. In een klein half uur ben je bij de belangrijkste hotspots. De wijk is relatief rustig en toch levendig en je kan er heel goed ontbijten en dineren. Er zijn veel horecagelegenheden.
Het inchecken verloopt traag door een geautomatiseerd systeem. Zet er gewoon mensen neer, want dat is een stuk gastvrijer dan een computer waar je talloze handelingen op moet verrichten. Er is een mogelijkheid om vooraf in te checken, maar dat lukte bij ons niet.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026L’emplacement dans 1 quartier calme et proche de la ligne de métro / tram. Chambre en parfait état et très propre, bien conçue. Le restaurant bar agréable.
L’accueil est très impersonnel mais c’est le concept. Chambre petite, mais c’est aussi le concept. Avec vue limitée ce qui est vraiment un point noir pour moi dans une chambre d’hôtel.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Location was great. Rooms were typical Japanese tiny - suitcase under the bed is hard to manage but we coped. The onsen was excellent and the TV explaining the rules was helpful. TV options were odd. Lots of horror.
Staff were not friendly or helpful. When we arrived at 11pm, I asked if there was an ATM or convenience store nearby and was told to go and explore myself.

チェックインの際、デスク周りに外国人が多く、連れだと思われたのか、声掛けしたのだがフロントのスタッフに気付いてもらえなかった。疲れていたので少しがっかりした。

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026I had a very pleasant stay at APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Ekimae Tower. The breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of my stay — there was a great selection of food and everything was fresh and tasty. A special mention goes to the wonderful breakfast staff, who were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming. They really made the breakfast experience even better. The location is also excellent. The hotel is just a short walk from Otsuka Station, with easy access to both the Tokyo Metro and the JR Yamanote Line, making it very convenient for exploring Tokyo and getting around the city. Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent breakfast, friendly staff and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Très bon petit déjeuner je me suis régalée, le lit était très confortable (même si la couette par moment je la trouvais un peu courte car je fais 1,80m mais ça allait!). L'emplacement super pratique, proche de la gare, en transport pas loin des grands quartiers de Tokyo.
Peut être il manquait 1 ou 2 machines à laver en plus, peut être était-ce à ce moment précis mais j'ai eu du mal à laver mon linge et j'ai dû m'en occuper en pleine nuit car elles étaient toujours prises. La chambre m'a paru un peu plus petite que sur les photos mais finalement c'était bien, l'espace très organisé et bien pensé.

Personnel peu aimable, assez étonnant au Japon mais d'autant plus remarquable. Pas capable de donner les basiques en anglais ou d'utiliser un traducteur, vraiment dommage.

Chambre Très à l’étroit Pas de hall ou un accès à la salle de restaurant (qui ne sert que les petits déjeuners je crois), en dehors de leurs horaires pour pouvoir boire un thé ou manger même quand il y a alerte typhon donc difficile en famille de pouvoir se retrouver.

酒店前台不能寄存行李過夜, 因為很多旅客是中段時間去別的城市, 去完再回, 所以很多時會把行李寄存在酒店前台. 日本大部分酒店都可以, 但這酒店不能而做成不便.
