Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, wunderschöner Garten, ruhige Lage.

Man braucht zum Essengehen im Ort ein Taxi. Wenn man selber kochen möchte gibt es aber eine Gemeinschaftsküche.

Tout nous a plu. La maison située à l'extérieur de Salento est un petit bijou de bois et de verdure et offre une belle pause en toute simplicité au creux d'un joli terrain ou la nature est reine. Nos hôtes Jhon et Dionny nous ont accueilli chaleureusement malgré une arrivée nocturne bien tardive. Leurs sourires ont salué chaque journée, leurs conseils ont été d'un grand intérêt, et leurs attentions quotidiennes bien agréables. Le petit-déjeuner est délicieux, fait de produits locaux, naturels et préparé au petit matin dans la cuisine ouverte à tous tout en discutant tranquillement. Les chambres sont propres, décorées en toute simplicité de bois. Ce fut un sejour vécu dans la sérénité du lieu et de ses hôtes.

Las Mirlas no es un alojamiento cualquiera , es una experiencia que uno tiene que vivir, desde la belleza de las Mirlas y la naturaleza que lo rodean, dormir escuchando el río, y por supuesto todo esto no sería posible sin la maravillosa hospitalidad de la Sra. Dioni y Sr. Jhon. Desayuno delicioso!!

Todo muy bonito

La amabilidad y gestion de Jhon. Nos ayudo en todo. lugar en principio tranquilo si no tiene otros huespedes encima. Lugar recomendable. Cerca del valle de cocora.

Este comentario es para huespedes.Realmente tiene pocas vistas. Recuerden que el parquing es en rampa cuesta. Para sacar un coche hay que sacar antes el de detras y coordinar. Si un dia llueve y ha de entrar el candado desde fuera no és fàcil si no lo ha hecho nunca. Practicar antes , puede tardar 10 min. No recomiendo la habitación de abajo pequeńa. És muy pequeña, no hay espacio. Mejor la triple. Tambien si se aloja abajo y tiene gente hospedada arriba no podrà dormir si ellos no son cuidadosos como fue en mi caso. Al dia siguiente cuando marcharon pudimos dormir bien. Recuerde que hay insectos y que està al lado de la carretera.

Ideal para las personas q desean descansar luego d tener un día recargado.

The breakfast and the owners kindness

Estuvimos con la familia (9 personas) en el Ecorefugio Las Mirlas del señor Jhon y su esposa Diony. Nos encantó el servicio, la atención, el desayuno es espectacular, y la limpieza de las habitaciones y las instalaciones estaba muy adecuada. Destacamos la amabilidad de los anfitriones, nos trataron como si fuéramos parte de la familia, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones y siempre estuvieron muy pendientes.

Excelente lugar para descansar, Don Jhon y su esposa son unos anfitriones espectaculares, la comida deliciosa,un lugar muy tranquilo y especial,camas cómodas y muy limpio todo Muy buena ubicación, cerca de Salento y del valle del cocora.

No puedo hablar de cosas malas, todo estuvo excelente 100/10

El lugar es hermoso, limpio, en medio de la naturaleza, se escucha el río, muy cerca a Salento, la atención de Jhon y su esposa excelente, el desayuno delicioso, el clima, la desconexion del ruido, todo fue excelente

Avendo l'auto, la posizione è ottima, a meno di dieci minuti dal centro e già sulla strada per la Valle del Cocora. La struttura è molto carina e pulitissima e la colazione ottima...ma la vera differenza la fanno gli splendidi John e Dionny (che ha anche un bellissimo negozio di artigianato "Artemanos"...fateci un salto!). Acqua calda e doccia perfetta!

Un po' difficoltoso il parcheggio. .

Un lugar mágico para tener tranqulidad y estar en el medio de la naturaleza!!! Es muy práctico para las actividades turísticas también porque esta uno muy cerca de salento : 2 000 pesos mas o menos para un willy y también se puede llegar en 20 minutos caminando. John y su esposa son muy buena gente y estan super pendientes de uno!! Ademas dan los mejores consejos y te sugieren las mejores actividades y planes para que disfrutes de la región al 100%!!! Sin duda voy a regresar y recomiendo este lugar a todo el mundo!!! 12/10😊

Las Mirlas is a beautiful estate 5 mins by car, our 25 mins on foot outside of Salento. Jhon and La Negrita took great care of us, delicious breakfasts and good talks :) Everything is spotless.

During our stay Internet connection and Wifi were very bad (apparently in the whole town due to a storm). The combo of the location outside of town and no connection even made it impossible for us to call an Uber, which was inconvenient. The road really gets busy and loud with Willy's.

Het echtpaar dat de accommodatie runt is geweldig. Het zijn erg vriendelijke mensen die het je graag naar de zin willen maken. Ze maken erg lekkere ontbijtjes en zorgen dat alles keurig schoon is. De keuken, die we ook mochten gebruiken, is smetteloos. Ook de locatie in de natuur vonden we prachtig. We konden zelfs op hun terrein een wandeling maken tussen de koffieplanten.

Er viel ons niks tegen, alleen vonden we het erg vochtig, kleding droogt daardoor niet goed, maar dat is normaal in dit klimaat.

John and his wife were amazing at receiving us. They would come everyday. Cook us. Amazing breakfast care for our stay and be very attentive to to us. The place is in nature, it's very authentic. We truly enjoyed our stay in Salento because of it.

The owners Jhon and Diani are a fantastic pair, extremely attentive, ready to help, and full of stories and recommendations. The place is beautiful and peaceful, with comfortable spaces made of natural wood features - patio, lookout point to Valle de Cocora, game area, incredible kitchen, and even the coffee plantation behind for a lovely walk around. The room was small but comfortable, with all necessary amenities and a small private porch to sit and listen to the river at night. Lovely stay

The room we stayed in was small, the place is outside town and can be tricky to get to at night without previously arranged transportation (the owners can help)

La ubicación, los propietarios y el entorno

L'accueil est très chaleureux. Dionny et John sont des hôtes et des personnes exceptionnels. On est en famille. Le moment du petit déjeuner préparé en direct live avec tellement d'attentions et de soins, nous fait démarrer une journée de vacances à Salento dans les meilleures conditions.

On apprécie le côté rustique et chaleureux du bois qui habille la chambre, mettre quelques aménagements supplémentaires simples, quelques porte manteaux, étendage pour laisser sécher le linge ou les serviettes serait possible.

Las habitaciones no tienen TV El sonido del segundo piso en el primero.

El desayuno sumamente delicioso. La habitación muy bien aseada, cama cómoda. La habitación que reservamos tenía una vista maravillosa. Un lugar lleno de naturaleza.

El servicio, la atencion, la hospitalidad fue lo mejor, con mi abuelita y mi tia nos sentimos como en familia, el lugar es super acojedor, ambiente de campo, tranquilo. los desayunos hechos con mucho amor, imperdibles los huevos Napolitanos

This place was a magical little spot. Jhon, the owner, showed great attention to detail in the property, which also helped to unwind. PS: The breakfast was delicious and the coffee from their own farm was phenomenal!

The hosts are exceptional so welcoming and the breakfast was delicious, they were always fast and happy to reply to any questions and give us the best suggestions to take the most out of the stay, we will definitely be back

Ecorefugio Las Mirlas is a very sweet place, rustic and with a lot of charm. The host are as kind as can be. They truly go all out to make you feel at home. The sound of the river near by gives a lot of comfort during your night sleep. I highly recommend staying at Ecorefugio La Mirlas.

Great location in nature just outside of Salento. The personalized service offered by the hosts is outstanding.

The owners made our stay at the guesthouse unforgettable. They helped us with a new rental car when ours broke down. It was very kind of them and we are very grateful! The hostess prepared the most delicious breakfast. So delicious! I hope we will meet again someday! The location of the guesthouse is also great, halfway to the valley. The nature is so beautiful and the sunrises from the cottage are amazing! We felt very private in our cottage, there was also hot water. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the sleep was good. We are very happy that we chose this guesthouse.

Very kind and attentive staff. Nice conversation included in the experience. Cozy kitchen to spend time in. Lovely breakfast for a full Quindio experience.

There were some spider web in the kitchen where you expect full cleaning.

Perfect stay, right in the middle between salento and valle del cocora, so the location is great! The host is super nice, great breakfast and a good place to chill to!

The nature surrounding the place, and the beautiful views you get to see from the place. Also it's an amazing place to rest. I've never had better sleep!

The hotel is perfectly situated at the entrance to the beautiful Cocora valley. From our room we looked across open fields and enjoyed the fireflies at night. Luisa was wonderful and cooked us lovely breafasts. We stayed for four nights and enjoyed cycling, horseriding and walking. There's a beautiful path on the opposite side of the river which is well worth a late afternoon stroll.

Perfect location with gorgeous views. I slept so well with the river lulling me to sleep and it was just chilly enough to need to curl up in the blankets. The staff are so so kind and helpful!

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Mirlas. The staff/ owners are super nice and we had fantastic conversations with them (even though we barely speak Spanish). This was a fantastic hotel to disconnect from electronics as there are not any TVs and the wifi was acting up, which wasn’t a problem for us (mobile data available for research of activities). The breakfast was freshly cooked on front of us and plenty. Fresh fruit every day! The hotel is a few minutes outside of Salento, which was fabulous for us to relax after an adventure filled day.

The bathroom could have been swept a tiny bit more accurately and the mosquito net at the window could have been a bit more fine mesh.

For an eco hotel, you need to expect you are a bit off the pueblo facilities, and with this given, they have a wonderful self sustaining unit in an area that bonds well with the surrounding nature.

The parking situation and driveway is precarious, turning onto the main road is challenging and you may need assistance. If the hotel has a few others in rooms, you may need to move your car as there are no parking spaces.

A beautiful spot on the road between Salento and the Cocora Valley hike. We had a rental car, and this place was easy to find. For the Cocora Valley hike, we booked a Willy (jeep) to pick us up directly from Las Mirlas - so easy. Asraya was a delightful host, and made us some delicious breakfasts! Highly recommend this spot!

There was a problem with the water pressure, but could be just a temporary issue .

There was a sewer gas problem in my room but they are going to remedy that.

The location is so dreamy. We only stayed one night, but I wish we had stayed a few more. There were little charms everywhere you looked and fantastic views. The houses themselves were beautiful and nestled into the countryside. There were hammocks, cards and games in the kitchen, outdoor seating. Behind our room was a stream which sent us to sleep very quickly. The wifi doesn't really reach the rooms, but it adds a sense of detachment from the rest of the world which is an attribute. The owner made us a delicious breakfast with local products and was so friendly. We chatted for ages and told us about when and how he built the eco lodge, using non-native trees from the area which is harmful to the surrounding ecosystem, so great to use for building. The rooms are simple, as should be expected. We slept very comfortably and enjoyed hot showers in the morning. It's a lovely scene close enough to salento to visit, but not be swallowed up in the crowds there, and is also en route to the valle de cocora, which we did in the morning. I felt rejuvenated after one night.

The parking was very narrow and we had to reverse down it in the morning - which was a little stressful with a rental. We were the only ones at the ecolodge that night, so perhaps there are other spaces, but we didn't ask as we had arrived late in the evening.

The quietness of the location, the originality of the structure makes you deeply feeling Salento and Colombia. Wake up in the morning with sound of nature and the perfume of the breakfast cooked by Jon and Diony is exactly a real experience. La mejor experiencia que podíamos tener se Salento! Totalmente recomandable!

That was just so cool we did not want to live! Nothing to complain just go there.

Great talks with Didier, cuddling with the cat Gris and the wonderful nature around.

Clean and beautiful. The staff are very polite and friendly, good breakfast.

The only problem is that the property is out of the town and you have to take a taxi or walk along a dangerous road without sidewalks.

Great Host and Breakfast

Our host Didier was super helpful and interested. He likes music, travel and nature, like us. He told us about the history of the property. It was once farmland, but the family decided to give this hill back to nature, also for animals to pass to the river. You can walk in the forest behind the ecolodge and explore nature as it is owned by the family. In the morning Didier will make a super nice breakfast and he can tell you more about what to do in the area. He is an early bird so you can have your breakfast at sunrise and go! And he wants to travel to Europe next year, so if you are from Europe and have any tips for him, let him know! The property is nice and quit away from the city center, but still close enough to walk (20 min). We will hopefully meet Didier or Salento again someday!
