Tenby Apartments

A beautiful apartment with a lovely view to the lake, and a fabulous outside terrace with a barbeque, it would be an excellent spot in the summer. The apartment was well appointed and spacious, an easy 10 minute walk to the lakefront, but a longer 20 minute walk to the town centre and restaurants. Wanaka is mostly flat so the walking is not at all difficult. Really new, modern apartment, lovely facilites to cook your own food or explore the many restaurants in town. The Host was very responsive when we advised that the apartment was completely missing one essential item - toilet paper ;)

Having to collect the keys from another property at the other end of town - I should have read the instructions better / noticed the address probably, but the keys also had to be returned there, rather than being left at the apartment, whihc was a pain because it was difficult to park and also in the opposite direction to the one we were leaving from. Overall it was a minor inconvenience really.

Very limited cutlery ( 2 teaspoons for example) minimal plates No wash power for washing machine which was supposed to be there.

Well contained property. Everything we needed for a ski break with great view to the lake Good Bbq and deck as well

The shower head needs replacing. Pressure was good but was like a fountain :)

Location was excellent, close enough to town but far enough way to enjoy the quiet.

The bed is comfortable. We love the kitchen setup so much. The place is sparkling clean and lovely. The living room is so cozy that we love reading there after our dinner.

It would be great if there were something to hold the garage door open, making loading and unloading easier. Also, prefer to have the laundry (washing machine and dryer) in the unit instead of doing it all in the garage. This is just our own preference.

The property is new and the space is good enough for a family and friends be stay together.

Great location close to centre of town. Incredible view of the mountains from the back yard. House is new and clean with lovely furniture.

The backyard isn’t quite fully fenced due to a gap between a wall and the house. We had some kids bang on the front door late at night and it was disconcerting as you can’t see out the front of the house without opening the front door and we knew there was a space they could have entered the back yard if they wanted. A small thing, but probably needs to be fixed.

It has 2 bedrooms and each of them has its own bathroom

Location is very close to dowtown. Spacious living and dining area. Good water pressure in the shower and spacious shower. Heated blanket available for cold night.

We had apartment 2 and with the heater & aircon switched on, it can still be a little bit cold in the living area. The entire living area is not carpeted so it is a little bit cold on the feet. Washing machine and dryer are located in the garage that is unlocked and they look like not well maintained. We didnt use the laundry facilities during our stay.

The apartment was in a nice, quiet spot close enough to walk into town. Rooms were spacious and the yard for apartment 5 was great for the kids. A garaged parking spot was nice to keep the car secure.

The laundry facilities are shared with other apartments, which wasn't a big issue but wasn't clear in the description, so it wasn't always available when we wanted to use it. A laundry basket and indoor clothes airer would have been nice as moving wet clothes from the garage without a basket was tricky and the outdoor clothesline didn't get much sun.

We loved Wanaka and this was an excellent stay.

Very clean and comfortable apartment. The location was excellent, not far from the lake. The staff were outstanding and very helpful.

Lovely airy apartment with great views. Strangely no dishwasher or oven though was convection microwave but not quite the same.

No dishwasher and proper oven would be good. Also no tea towel to dry up with and no response when we e mailed the managing agents to have one delivered.

Slightly inconvenient to pick up and drop off keys some distance away from accommodation. Other tenants/holiday makers could see into our living rooms.

二楼只在客厅安装了一台空调，卧室没有，所以夏天需要开冷气时只能打开卧室门睡觉，但空调距离卧室特别远，卧室很难凉快起来，如果要在夏天比较炎热时入住，建议怕热的人慎重考虑；室外飞虫极多，必须在黄昏前关紧所有窗户，否则会有大量飞虫进入；需要与同一栋楼另一层的住户共用晾衣架、洗衣机和干衣机，而且晾衣架就在一楼的卧室窗外，可能会让一部分人感到不自在。二楼房型没有洗碗机和烤箱比较遗憾，而且微波炉的火力特别小，用Grill模式最大火力加热20分钟都无法把鸡腿烤熟。取钥匙的办公室门口停车位非常局促而且坡度较大，对开车新手来说比较挑战。WIFI速度特别慢，不得不放弃使用。

Great views from the property great location, facilities super very comfortable. We stayed two nights we could have stayed another night.

There was no oven. There was a barbecue you had to leave it as you fine it, an oven would be easier.

We loved everything!

A fan would have been welcomed as the property was very warm on arrival and didn’t cool down until later.

key pick up at a different location was inconvenient

had trouble getting parking at location to drop off key and person on site was on the phone, kept us waiting for some minutes and didn't acknowledge us dropping off the key in any way. We could see him in other room and left the key on the reception desk.

The house is excellent, very well located, with a beautiful lake view. It offers great value for money. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Das untere Appartement ist mit einer Tür getrennt, die zwar abgeschlossen ist, aber je nach dem wer sich dort aufhält, hellhörig.

A few minor things needed attention Suggest hallway be repainted - wipe marks obvious. Fix magnetic front-door stopper. Clean sofa upholstery. Odour in White lounge chair seat . Wobbling lounge lamp.

It was nice and spacious, modern.

It is as if no one had trialed living here. Furniture was spartan at best. They have a nice nespresso machine, but you are only given 4 pods of coffee even if we stayed for several days and there is two of us. None of the cups fit under the machine? Made no sense. The night lamp in the bedroom with the double bed had a very very bright white light bulb instead of a cosy yellow light meaning you woke up rather than going to bed.

Clear instructions via email and booking.com where to collect the keys from and return. No waiting around.

The apartment was clean comfortable and close to all amenities. It had mountain views and had glimpses of the lake and it even snowed while were there which looked beautiful with all the spring flowers poking through.

Spacious apartment with a large deck and absolutely stunning view of the lake and mountains! The grill was wonderful for a night of eating in. Very comfortable bed and lots of storage in the bedroom. Comfy living space and plenty of options on TV to wind down. We never moved our car after checking in and walked to town for all of our activities- super convenient!

The emergency exit light was very bright and had to keep the bedroom door shut at night because of it. There was a lot of hanging space in the closet but only 4 hangers; it would have been nice to have more.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great views. Clean and comfortable home.

The bed was terrible. 2 single mattresses that joined together, with a noticeable gap between the them and sloping towards the middle.

We loved the bright modern 2 bedroom appartment and the lovely garden with a patio table. The location was perfect. Just a short walk down to the lake and town centre. We would stay here again.

I loved this property, I had a good nights sleep and it was exactly what we needed. I felt it was good value compared to some hotel prices we had paid.

Apartment is spacious, spotless and very well equipped. Comfortable living and dining area. Covered garage parking was an added bonus. The outside area with barbecue was fabulous and we were sad we didn't have the weather to make use of it! Quiet location and easy walking distance to lake and town centre.

Nice apartment, great for a couple or solo traveller. Modern apartment and couldn't complain.

I found the bed too hard and it was 2 single mattress put together as a double. I kept sleeping in between which was uncomfortable. I also found it to be very warm inisde and I did not use the heat at all. Also, there is no oven or dishwasher in the apartment.

Really great location & quiet. Easy walk to waterfront for photos and drinks & meals. New world supermarket right there too. Appreciated the garage parking and drying room.

The accommodation, location and facilities were excellent. Unfortunately the part of the washing machine that was to distribute the washing powder was broken and clogged full of previous tenants washing powder which left residue all over our clothes. Other than this it was a perfect accomodation.

A bit noisy when guests staying upstairs

The apartment is really lovely and had a nice view. Very comfortable and modern. No wine glasses for an apartment in New Zealand that promotes its wines is terrible. A couple of cheap tumblers, 2 knives, 2 forks & 2 spoons we thought was not at all suitable for an apartment of that standard.

Location was on a quiet street a few roads back rom the main waterfront. Easy walk to everywhere.

No complaints really, nice clean property…. Confused about where I should park? Don’t like to have to pick up keys from another location. Put them in a lock box ?

Laundry machines were convenient and laundry soap was provided. The unit was large, clean and nice. Everything we needed.

The only thing we did not like was the adjacent unit has a connecting door to our unit. This normally would not bother me as it is locked. However, odors from the fish cooked in the adjacent unit seeped into our unit and filled our unit with the fish smell which was not pleasant.
