Overall, a very decent place to stay. A 10 minute or so walk to the beginning of the shopping centre and so whilst not a short walk, definitely not far and if you want a night where you can all have a couple of drinks (and so nobody needs to drive), then the walk home is not bad at all. About a 10 minute walk to the Lake as well. Roomy, well fitted out kitchen with washing machine and dryer; TV and good heating. Heated bathroom floor!

This 2 bedroom apartment suited us well for 3 adult family members. It was modern and had all of the ‘extras’ that made a 5 day stay seem more like home. It is well located - within a couple of blocks of the city Centre, lake, parks and walking tracks - far enough away to be out of the immediate city hustle. It is walkable to all local attractions - having the convenience of a car allowed visits further afield.

This apartment was exactly what we needed as a family of 5. It had everything we needed to cook and two bathrooms and a huge living dining area. We will definitely be back.

Very nice unit: spacious, modern, upscale. Location was good. Walkable to town center, supermarket, beach.

Parking was a little confusing since we were in an unit designated as disability friendly. This meant we couldn't park right in front of our unit.

The location is approx a 10-15min walk into Wanaka town and just under a 10min walk to the lake front. I think if you just needed a couple of nights to stay somewhere with a kitchen and wanted somewhere a bit nicer than a motel, this is probably the place for you. We stayed for 4 nights. The check in process was easy enough, you pick the keys up from a different accommodation place. Having a near full kitchen was nice. The lounge area was spacious as was the room and walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was of adequate size also. Kitchen had all the basic utensils required as well as a medium sized fridge with a proper freezer compartment. There is no dish washer in the upstairs apartment. There are no set car parks for each apartment so it's first in first serve, there are plenty of street parks though.

We had an upstairs apartment. The base of the stairs had a door that led to the downstairs apartment. Although it was locked, it felt a bit strange and insecure. It also meant that you could smell whatever food they were eating, we experienced an unpleasant odour of greasy fish and chips on our first night. The apartment appeared nice on surface level however small things made it lacking in the overall ambiance of the accommodation, especially given how much it costed (approximately $290/night when we stayed). I would have expected things like facial tissues and for the ceiling of the bathroom to be cleaned (it was a low ceiling and was dotted with dead gnats). Due to the style of shower drain, it meant each morning, there would be a stale water smell from it. Thankfully the bathroom had a good working extractor fan and window which we put to use to prevent any smells from getting worse. The beds we found to be very soft as well.

Some of the cups were dirty and the bench a little dirty. I thought there was supposed to be SKY television in the unit ( even the information folder gave instructions for using it) but there wasn’t. Also no dishwasher. But having the clothes washer was good. Unfortunately there was a flood downstairs in the apartment below and the tiles at the bottom of the stairs were covered in water about 2cm deep. Luckily I noticed before I took my last step down onto them, as it could have been a nasty accident. I was carrying luggage and it was very slippery. I think management should have warned us about this potential hazard. There is a connecting door between the apartments at the bottom of the stairwell, which is why the water was present. The people in the downstairs apartment said that there had been a leak in a water pipe underneath the sink. They were busy trying to mop up water. Someone had been to fix the leak, but where were the clean up crew? I used towels from our apartment to soak up some of the water to make it safer to walk across the tiles.

Keys were collected from a lodge a few minutes drive away - would have been nice if keys could have been in a lockbox at the property itself.

Its location was excellent- a mere walking distance to the beautiful lake. The whole apartment was quite spacious with almost everything we needed to make our stay there easy and enjoyable. Parking at the door made loading and unloading our car so much easier.

A very spacious modern property in a quiet location in Wanaka. Our apartment was on the ground floor with another one above us. We did not notice noise from above, but could have been lucky. The airy, open-plan kitchen/dining/living area is enormous with access to a private outdoor dining/seating area (with a BBQ). The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, pans etc and has a dishwasher. The amount of floor to ceiling glass means this open-plan room does get very hot on a sunny day but there are blinds to counteract this and good AC. The bedrooms are decent, although needing a twin instead of a double made the second bedroom feel crowded. Plenty of wardrobe space in both rooms though. The modern bathroom (shower & loo) was clean and spacious with plenty of towels. The utilities (washer, drier, airer) were useful and easy to operate. It's a 10 minute walk to Wanaka lakefront, 15 minutes to the main eateries and 20m (or a short drive) to collect/drop-off the keys at central reception.

Parking is not clearly allocated - you just use an available space between/next to several other apartments. Unfortunately for us there was some noisy building work happening on the next door property which meant that sitting outside was not pleasant.

I wasn't aware that the reception desk was one km from the accommodation. I was walking, therefore, this was a surprise to me.

I thought we were on the water side. No, unfortunately. The dryer door wouldn’t open after 15 minutes. Had to wait over an hour and the clothes were still wet. Didn’t put them back in, didn’t want to take a chance.

Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Sogar mit behindertengerechten Bad. Dusche hat viel Druck. Auch zwei große Schlafzimmer. Schnell im Zentrum. Tolle Küche. Sehr modern.

Dort sind mehrere Ferienwohnungen des gleichen Typs. Wirkt ein bisschen wie aus dem Ikeakatalog.

The space was clean and large. There was a great amount of bathrooms. Everything we needed was there. Walking distance to town.

Location was great, shame about the building works that started at 7am every morning. Also the property is overlooked by other apartments.

Finally an apartment with a full set of kitchen equipment and sharp knives! Bedroom seperated from the living area. Balcony with mountain view a bonus.

Location information, ease of key pick up, not far from property and town front. enjoyed stay.

Balcony furniture chairs need replacing as they are wearing out and cracked on the seated area. also not that clean and would suggest that they need to also clean off the balcony table and floor and remove cobwebs from bbq. otherwise great. would have received 10 if done.

Other residents were considerate regarding noise etc. Reception staff pleasant and gave useful information on arrival. Very comfortable pillows on the bed. Very clean and well equipped.

Check out time was 10am, but the key needed to be returned to a different location which meant leaving earlier than 10am. Admittedly it wasn’t far but I think a return key time of 10.15am might be fairer.

Large kitchen and good location.

Fans in the bedrooms would have been great, the apartment was very hot. Also the addition of oven gloves and place mats would also finish off the property.

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was roomy, clean, new and well located within walking distance to restaurants and the lake. Very comfortable.

Lovely modern spacious apartments with great living area and big balcony. Private parking space and easy to walk into town. Ended up eating in two nights as well set up for self catering with sunny balcony to enjoy views from.

After several weeks travelling it was good to be able to use washing machine and drying area to clean clothes , but the Mini ironing board was a bit impractical to use.

Location perfect could walk to everything. Apartment was incredible, quality everything, bathrooms amazing, beds comfortable, curtains blockout, TV incredible. Staff friendly and helpful and go the extra mile.

Minor things. Could do with an oven tray and the timed irrigation came on in the middle of the night and wakes the people in the room nearest.

The apartment was available for us on time (a little earlier actually) and was very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with the essentials (a pair of scissors would be a handy addition to the draw though) and having the laundry facilities were great for us. Parking off street for one vehicle was good to have and proximity to the main hub of Wanaka was good.

The statue outside of the big window in the lounge area! It gave me a little startle each time I pulled the curtains!

The apartment had limited kitchen items like only two forks, one wineglass, no big pots for cooking.

We had an accessibility unit at the very front of the complex. Neither the pictures nor the unit description indicated that this might be an option. The unit had very large windows that people could look into from the front patio/road; it was not private, as indicated in the description. The bathroom modification (e.g., vanity) was very small, modified for a wheelchair, so there was not sufficient space for family bathroom products or sponge bags on the vanity, and there were no drawers or hooks to store them. I understand these units need to be available, and if we had known, we might have made a different accommodation choice at this price for a family. Thanks

The apartment is fully equipped. A large kitchen with an oven was fantastic! The washer and dryer were also very useful. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well. There are also enough sockets, including next to the bed. Parking is available at the complex, and the lake is within walking distance.

The bathroom in apartment 1 has two windows. The lower one is covered, the upper one isn't. This is very uncomfortable, especially if you're tall. Moreover, with the lights on, it feels like a fishbowl in the evening. The bathroom is visible from the adjacent building and from the street, which is especially uncomfortable at night. A bathroom should simply offer good privacy. Why not have a roller blind for this window, like the one in the rest of the apartment? Then the apartment would be perfect.

Everything was great apart from the lack of mirrors in the place. we were all going to a wedding and it was difficult to get everyone through the bathroom with it having the only mirror in the place and everyone wanting showers and the mirror at same time for doing hair and makeup

Erg mooie en moderne studio. Volledige keuken met alles aanwezig. Was netjes en schoon. Heerlijk douche. Goed bed. Dichtbij het centrum, je kan lopend naar het centrum.

Ik had een erg onvriendelijke vrouw bij het inchecken. Dat maakte de aankomst al gelijk minder leuk. Ik zat op de 1e verdieping en dat was prima totdat er gasten in het appartement onder mij kwamen. Je kon letterlijk elk woord verstaan wat ze zeiden. Is dus erg gehorig. Ook a isl het appartement heel mooi zou ik hier niet nog een keer boeken. Bij het uitchecken had ik gelukkig wel weer een vriendelijke man.

The ridiculously brightly lit fire exit sign above the front door which kept us awake. Others had also tried to tape over it previously. Inconsiderate people upstairs until early hours. Heated towel rail didn’t work.

It smelled of curry or something really strong when we arrived - had to open all the windows to try and get rid of it....but a really awesome spot and we have booked for next year as well 😀

For price, a dishwasher should have been included. Our unit had a washing machine which was helpful, but for a four night stay a dish washer needs to be included. It seems the units can be rented as an upstairs and downstairs which means you would get a dishwasher. This arrangement also caused issues with parking as it was a tandem arrangement. We parked at the front to save bother to neighbours.
