Pleasant environment in a good location.

I found the bed a little uncomfortable and the bathroom was in need of refurbishment as was looking tired. The room was also quite small. There was only one fast EV charger which unfortunately was monopolised by a vehicle for several hours. The hotel would benefit therefore from more chargers.

I liked comfy beds, bathroom clean, breakfast very good and quiet. Also I liked the fridge inside the room.

I didn't like that I had to pay for parking.

Great location, just off the M40. There's a cinema next door, restaurants, supermarkets. Hotel was clean and plenty of parking. Great buffet breakfast.

The beds were too hard. We all woke up to bad backs!. Also I asked for a room close to reception due to my husbands mobility issues. Sadly we were put it a room the most furthest away. The lounge area seating/sofas in the bar area are not comfy at all.

Easy to find from motorway. Evening meal & breakfast were both nice. Eating & lounge areas are clean, bright & comfy.

We were given room 6 which had lots grab rails in the bathroom and plenty of floors space in room, ideal for people with mobility issues. The shower was in the bath the only problem. Good breakfast choices.overnihht

Cleanliness of the rooms and bar and restaurant, food was nice.

Had a problem with the toilet in the room and couldnt use it if you needed to poo as the toilet was or seemed to be blocked but didn't realise till the morning was ok if you urinated but could hear the toilet seem to blow back reported it as we left so hopefully they sorted it out. Bar was expensive and food although it was ok and edible but not worth the money and everything has a service charge.

Wanted to call reception about something, went to use the rather 1990’s looking phone only for it not to operate whatsoever. Bathroom mirror was still fogged up an hour after shower….ventilation needs looking at in bathroom I think

Very comfortable room, and attentive staff. The breakfast was very good too, with quite a few choices for the continental area. Small details, but the breafkast greens (green beans, edamame bean & spinach) were very appreciated. The room was very functional, we counted at least 10 USB ports dotted across the room, ensuring we could charge our devices as needed. The car park is quite large, and you can be in town very quickly.

Stayed here the night before an early(ish) flight from Heathrow, as it was much cheaper that the on-site hotels. The hotel was very clean and conveniently located for the M40/M25. The allocated rooms were also very spacious. Will use again!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and all our requests were promptly addressed and supported.

The room was a little cold, but the staff were very helpful and quickly found a solution.

Firstly and most importantly the staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The lady on reception was especially helpful with our enquiries and very supportive and friendly. The room was clean and well presented, with nice style accents (chairs and lamps) the bathroom was very clean and fresh with lovely toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic, a great choice of food to suit all dietary requirements. Location is excellent and plenty of parking.

I booked the stay for myself, my daughter and two young grandchildren who’s ages I gave upon booking, we were put in a first floor room, there was no lift, so each time we went in and out we had to struggle with the baby and pushchair and belongings up and down the stairs. The travel cots were in very bad condition. The first one they brought us was broken and didn’t even go up, and the second one they brought to replace it was also broken (torn sides so unsafe for baby) and dirty. Please get some new cots!

Not a problem for me, but no lift to the first floor rooms would be a problem for many. The general standard of the building is poor - carpets worn out, paint scuffed, the place looks run down and cheap. The location is useful for road access but not remotely nice.

Found someone's false eyelashes in the bathroom on arrival, could have been a little bit bit more TLC on cleaning.

I was disappointed in my stay, the staff were excellent, but the hotel rooms are dated, carpets throughout are grubby and seen better days as do the duvet sets are worn with tares. My wife whilst eating her breakfast on the first day found a hair in her cooked food. The department manager was great and raised a complaint straight away. Subsequently my wife didn't have a cooked breakfast the next day.

The general condition of the hotel accommodation and for what I paid per night I expected more.

Ideally located for going into London then travelling to Oxfordshire the next day. The rooms were clean, comfortable and cool. The breakfast was tasty.

It was conveniently located and the ambience in the communal areas was pleasant.

Our room had a blocked sink, which I only found out after I’d go ready for bed and cleaned my teeth. I tried to call reception but the phone wasn’t working and I didn’t want to get dressed again to go and report it. I reported it in the morning when we went down to breakfast but was told that no-one could fix it until after we’d left as the maintenance team weren’t in until after 9am. We had hoped to store perishable food in the fridge in the room as we were on our way to a holiday cottage the next day and the temperature was very hot, but the fridge had been removed from the cupboard. There was a temporary standing lamp in the room but we couldn’t find a way to switch it on. I asked at reception in the evening and was told someone would come down in a couple of minutes, but it wasn’t fixed and as no one came to the room. The shower screen had been left on the wrong side of the rail, presumably by housekeeping, so when my husband had a shower the bathroom was flooded. He is partically sighted so wouldn’t have noticed.

Hotel it's in very convenient place , very close to the Heathrow Airport , easy to reach , the staff was very polite and helpful , , room was nice and clean even if the bed wasn't the biggest , but all in all it was a very nice stay with a convenient price , so we didn't even mind to pay a little extra for the parking . Also , We've forgot something behind in the room but we've been contacted straight away by the Property , so an Extra Thanks goes to whoever works in there .

Convenient and quiet location even though just off the M40

Parking charges were not displayed until actually confirming the booking. Free parking is normally a top prerequisite for me in selecting accommodation. Had I known that parking at the venue would cost me £7 per night I would have looked elsewhere. It is the principle not the cost!

We ordered a twin room and were told on arrival they had put a second bed (campbed) into a standard double. No way to change without booking another room. This room was specifically booked prior. As ever with booking.com no help.

Air con was broken, changed rooms and still broken, no fans, deadlock not working on door, unable to sleep due to extreme heat in room which was booked as a rest break after dropping family at Heathrow. It was the hottest room I have ever stayed in and inhumane. Have emailed 3+ times with my complaint and have not received so much as an acknowledgment.

Le personnel … c’est bien la premiere fois … dés le depart, il y a eu un ecart de 100 livres entre le montant prevu et le montant demandé. Bref, l’erreur est humaine. Par contre, lors que petit dejeuner (à 8h30) on nous enleve nos couverts des mains (!) et notre assiette, alors que nous n’avons pas terminé. La cerise sur le gateau, c’est que le lendemain matin, à 7h, le bazar à commencé avec les placards qui claquent et la machine à laver (mur trés fin) puis, on a toqué plusieurs fois et voulu rentrer dans notre chambre à 8h30 puis, on a retoquer à notre chambre à 9h. Le depart des clients est prevu à 10h … pourquoi ?? Vraiment un manque de respect pour le sommeil des clients !

The bathroom wasn’t tidy and frankly looks quite warn out. The carpets in the corridors look dirty and warn. For a premium booking, I expected a little better than was presented.

“Courtyard Garden”? That’s a joke! Brick pavers full of boring shrubs - can’t imagine anyone ever goes there. Several chairs in restaurant were either too low for tables or very uncomfortable as padding too worn. More a “Working Inn” than Holiday Inn. Not a place you’d want to hang around in for more than a few hours as although air con was welcome, whole interior design concept a bit “corporate” for my taste. Full of corporate types tapping on laptops or talking on phones. Not a restful atmosphere & sofas not restful. Had to move my heavy mattress as was too far away from bedhead so pillow disappearing down gap - but they did refund parking as a gesture.

I tried to cancel the room in its entirety. I was told that there would be a fee for the first night and asked if I wanted to query it. I did. It took 24 hours to respond and then I was told that I was too late to cancel the second night, despite the fact that I had done it the day before. This is the second time Booking.com have ripped me off.
