Stay far away from this place, there was nothing positive about it.

Extremely unprofessional. The check-in was at 16:00, we arrived at 16:20 and nobody was there and the hotel was locked. We waited outside in the cold and called the number on the door. Somebody answered and said that he was currently out, so he suggested for us to wait in the car, until he was back. After 20 minutes of waiting, nobody had showed up and so we left. Got no refund and no apology.

Frokosten var meget enkel. Fikk ikke opp varmen på rommet. Ingen aktiviteter i nærområdet.

Det aller meste. Det virket som de var uforberedt på at vi kom. Resepsjonen var låst. Det var reklamert med en veldig bra fokost. Det var den ikke. Den var enkel.

Rent och välstädat

Ingen frukost lunch eller middag gick att få. Verksamheten låg i det närmaste nere, väldigt få gäster.

Undvik detta hotell! Bilderna på Booking är vilseledande och har inget med verkligheten att göra. Trots att hund var godkänd och blev vi placerade i ett smutsigt rum i källaren med mögellukt, trasig toalett och utan grundläggande bekvämligheter. Det här är inte ett hotell jag kan rekommendera till någon. Jag kände mig fullständigt lurad.

Beautiful, remote location.

Took this place as it has a restaurant, and there isn’t anything else around for miles. Calling this a restaurant is really a joke. They served warmed up burger patties, dry potatoes that had a strange taste and wilting, brown salad. There was nothing available to drink, except water. 500NOK for this meal for two people is a complete rip off. The room was comfortable and clean, but the whole place has a very run down, uninviting feeling about it. Would definitely have driven further if I had known better.

Stedet er egentlig lukket. Så bi var de eneste på stedet. Men ham der arbejder ig bor på stedet, var så venlig og imødekommende. De havde ikke et familieværelse hvor man måtte have hund. Men vi fik to dobbeltværelser. Og måtte bruge køkkenet oven på. Og bruge opholdsstue og billiardrum. Naturen er fanrastisk med udsigt til skiløjper. Der er rent og pænt og ikke noget at sige der Og bi kommer gerne igen

Hotellet bæger præ af ikke at ha været vedligeholdt. MEN de er i fuld gang. Kunne godt finde på at komme forbi og se det når de er frærdige. Der er mange mulighder

Perfectly located, very nice owner and delicious breakfast.

It’s basic but the location and the view make it up it.

This was a lovely family run hotel - although not as modern as some of your big hotels the rooms were very comfy and the whole place had a wholesome family feel to it. The owners were super friendly and made the place feel very welcoming. We enjoyed the lounge areas and games room in the evening and breakfast in the morning was very lovely! We would love to come back again in the ski season to see the place at its best. We were only there one night but it made us feel so relaxed and calm, the place felt so much more personal than anywhere else we've stayed on our Norway road trip, would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Funcionários muito prestáveis e simpáticos, mesmo sem ter pedido antecipadamente para jantar no alojamento foi-nos dada essa opção que aceitámos e não nos arrependemos porque a comida estava otima e não precisámos de dirigir até à localidade mais próxima (cerca de 20 km)

Die Aussicht ins Tal war schön.

Das Bufet am Abend und zum Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut, auch die Waffeln sind hervorragend. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt mit tollem Ausblick.

Elbil lading var veldig treg/dårlig. Varierende standard på rommene, men under utbedring/oppussing. Ingen bar/alkohol på stedet.

Dårlig mottakelse, lite service. Krevde ekstra for tidlig innsjekking. Seig koteletter til kr. 300. Frokost som heller ikke stod til forventningene. Luktet gammelt på rommet og veldig slitt. Hadde håpet det var tilstand i Hallingskarvet.

Beliggenhet var bra. En vikar i resepsjon var hyggelig og hjelpsom.

Hotellet er gammelt. Flere rom jeg fikk se luktet mugg, både i soverommet og badet. Det ene rommet luktet sterk klorin; det var ingen dør til badet og rengjørings personalet sannsynligvis brukte klorin til å skjule mugg/avløp lukt. Prisen var alt for høyt sammenlignet med andre hoteller.

Fue conveniente por nuestro roadtrip. Muy amables las personas que atendían. Nos encantó el desayuno. Y en general fue “suficiente”. Habitaciones limpias, cómodas, en la ubicación que necesitamos, baño amplio, bufete buenísimo y buen servicio.

During our motorbike trip through Norway we ended up in this hotel. Very friendly owners who recently took over this accommodation. Despite their lack of experience, they spoiled us with a dinner of hamburgers made from reindeer, grilled vegetables and deliciously spiced mashed potatoes. The rooms may be a bit basic (partly due to the age of the hotel) but they have been renovated properly and are very (hygienically) clean. I can definitely recommend this hotel for motorcyclists. If you book via booking.com, definitely ask for breakfast and dinner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

A very cozy hotel. The breakfast is extensive and very good, especially the fried bacon was excellent. The rooms for guests with dogs are located next to a garden access (especially great for a quick walk in the evening). Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and dedicated owner and her staff.

Cozy, comfortable and clean ski lodge .. rooms were basic but there were several common areas that were cozy and comfortable . New owners who are working to restore the entire facility were very gracious and helpful . We enjoyed our stay and would return .

Bygget er stort og slitt, og eies av Visjon Norge. Drives av frivillige og hyggelige pensjonister som jobber gratis. Visjon Norge er en organisasjon som støtter Israel og utnytter mange sårbare mennesker. Flagg av Israel flere steder ga oss et sterkt ubehag, og en følelse av og ha blitt lurt til og støtte noe man tar helt avstand fra. Man må ta på sengetøy selv, og alt er av svært enkel standard.

Lovely place to stay. The staff were great: extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and the views were beautiful all round. Great value for money.

A lovely and peaceful location. The staff were incredibly hospitable. While the room is basic and shows its age, it was perfectly adequate for the nightly rate. Lot of space to park the car.

There is a need to put proper light-blocking curtains / jalousies into the room - otherwise in summer you can only sleep for 3-4 hours per night due to the brightness of the northern summer night sky.

The staff were fantastic, after some confusion at check it, quickly resolved, we could have not been looked after better. The hotel is set up for b&b and is in a great quiet location

Gammelt og slitt, ikke særlig innbydende, men rent. God frokost, hyggelig personale. Tviler på at vi velger å overnatte her igjen, men greit som et krypinn for natten.

A great value for money!

The property had a great location and the rooms are fine. The staff are extremely nice and helpful!

Initially the check in process was a nightmare and we were later told that it is a family run business depending upon yhe help from family and friends. It took a good hour for the checkin but eventually all was ok! The property needs renovation.

Smelly and stuffy Poorly maintained

It was at a good location on our route. The room was fine. Easy loading and unloading.

It was hard to navigate around the facility. The facility had many rooms and we had people above us who were loud. There was nobody else on our floor. It would have been nice to have all the guests on the same floor.

Flott service. Hadde med 2 hunder - supert med muliget til å ha de på rommet. Frukosten var helt nydelig.

The staff was extremely friendly,and the food was very tasty. It's just a very wonderful place to go to. It was a very good view and everything was just perfect 💓

We found two cocroach-like bugs in the room, but we got them.

The host was perfect! Very nice and friendly, there was no restaurants nearby, so she cooked us a homemade meal, delicious. Really a perfect way to receive someone, the host made the experience perfect and the place even more memorable! Highly recommend!

Lina at reception was the only good thing about this place

It’s old, dated, no curtains!!! In a country that has daylight till after midnight then sunshine back at 4am… hang some “non-sheer “ curtains. I think I got about 3hrs sleep!! Uncomfortable bed, place is stained and basically designed for the elderly…

The staff was friendly

We had booked a triple room but only got a double room. The triple rooms were all occupied when we arrived. The hotel staff blamed the booking site. They asked us to contact them since they couldn't help us. For me as a customer it is not ok that I can't rely on getting the room I actually booked.

The lounge is great and cosy, a very nice place to relax and enjoy. The location is great with easy access to places such as ski resorts, Geilo and Fjords. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room is a bit dated.

Friendly staff. Large and cozy common spaces compensate for the small and uncomfortable rooms.

Worst are room spaces. Some decaying furnitures, missing simple things as for example a hook for towel or toilette paper. Some lights not working. Doors conflicting with each other. Missing details like floor edges and doorsteps, leaving niches for the dirt. Personell is friendly but not professional. Countless people enter and leave the restaurant kitchen at any time of the day...

Ett gammalt hotell som behövs uppgraderas. Regntätt och varmvatten är det som ger pluss, annars ska det klassas som motell.

This is a rather rustic retreat center, up on a pass on the road between Oslo and Flam. We chose it because it is within range of catching the first ferry in Flam, and it worked quite well for that. The breakfast was solid. The people running the establishment are very nice, and offered some waffles as there was no where nearby to catch dinner at the time of night we got it. Nice drive to and from the location.

På denne fjellheimen får du koselig og personlig service. I tillegg fikk vi kongelig frokost med alt vi kunne ønske oss av pålegg, røkelaks, yoghurt, et utvalg av juice, egg, kaffe og te. Til den prisen vi betalte var dette rett og slett imponerende! Rommet var enkelt, men stort bad med badekar, gode Jensen madrasser, og litt utsikt mot fjellet. Veldig stille og rolig. Fin overnatting over fjellet mot Bergen.

Koselig , enkelt hotel med frokostservering. Tidligere et flott høyfjellshotell - trenger litt vedlikehold men serviceminded vertskap.

Personalet er rigtig søde og imødekomne. Udsigt er flot.

Enkelt rom, men greit for en natt. Stille og rolig. Veldig hyggelig velkomst

Ingen i resepsjonen ved ankomst, ventet lenge. Ikke info på Hotels.com om kristen sekt preger hotellet. Rommet og badet skittent. Dårlig lukt i rommet.Manglet1 dyne, håndklær,tannglass og toalettpapir. Måtte legge dynetrekk på selv. I følge Hotel.com har hotellet restaurant noe det ikke er, bare spisesal. Maur og sjeggkre i spisesal.

Min kone og jeg hadde et snaut døgn på hotellet, og fikk god kontakt med bestyrer. Etter hva jeg oppfattet var det stort sett bare han og hans kone som drev hotellet, som bestyrere. De lagde mat, ryddet rommene og reparerte det det var penger til å reparere. Det er mye som står igjen å fikse på, men det krever stor innsats fra eierne, hvem nå de er. Ved avreise fra hotellet fikk min kone og jeg med oss hver vår nydelige nistepakke, med 3 fine smørbrød, frukt og yoghurt. De var nesten verdt hele oppholdet.
