We liked everything about the property. They had excellent breakfast. Excellent dinner. Excellent spa. Location was great. Only complain we didn’t have AC in our room and it got hot at night inspite of the fan that they provided.

Just everything about the hotel was a very high standard. One of the best I have stayed at!

Everything was super, just a bit disappointed that the staff addressed my husband directly always as his name was on the booking. I did the booking but that doesn't matter! All good other than that. We look forward to going again later in the year.

Almost as good as the Llao Llao in Patagonia, Argentina

The hotel itself is wonderful. Service was very good. Staff at the lounge and other restaurants were friendly and very professional. The food was far above expectations. Our only issue was that the room we booked was located on level -1(the basement). It was selected because it was advertised as a garden view with a balcony. While the view was good, the room is located near the parking garage entrance and the laundry. I would never have booked this room if I knew it's location. Also, the room did not have a working safe or thermostat, so the room was sub-tropical.

Arrived at hotel mid week for one night. We were told by reception at check in the cleaners were still in the room so we went for a drink in the meantime. When we returned we were told the room still wasn't ready so we waited in the lobby. Reception finally gave us the key and when we arrived at the room the foor was open and the cleaners were still inside. Hotel should not state on website that you can check in at 3pm and then have toom ready at 4.10pm. We went to the spa and had intense deep tissue massages where we both fell asleep so obviously they were not that intense but enjoyable all the same. The thermal suite was also underwhelming- jacuzzi not working in infinity pool and sauna was very hot. On return to our room, we noticed all our belongings were moved and the curtains closed. Not sure if this is usually done in 5* hotel but we felt like it was unnecessary. We then went to the Brasserie for dinner where we were told that there would be a 45min wait for food but we could go to Riva as they would have seats. I had called weeks beforehand to reserve a table at the Brasserie and was told it was first come first serve. Then we noticed a table reserved for 8 people on our way out. The room was well equipped but the beds were hard and it was way too hot leading to a poor night sleep. Told the receptionist about our check in and instead of taking it on board she unapologetically said that the hotel was fully booked and check in is usually between 3-4pm

This property was gorgeous. The rooms, beautiful and super clean. The beds very comfortable and the surrounding area breathtaking. The service was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back.

This hotel is exceptional. The views and the spa are world class. The hotel is pretty unassuming when walking up but don't be fooled, they invested in all the right areas to create an amazing experience.

A stunning hotel

Lovely hotel. But for a 5-star resort st that price point we thought that the room was a bit cramped. Also the lighting in our room was practically non- existent! We had someone come to help but he just said that some rooms are very dark and don’t have lighting. And that we had one of those rooms. It was impossible to read a book at night. Nice staff however and fabulous spa!

Amazing lodging! There is nothing negative I can say about The Europe, it was an incredible place and an overall wonderful experience.

Second time staying here. Location breathtaking, service impeccable and food divine. We had the standard lakeside room which still had partial lake view and both mornings we saw wild deer from our room

The hotel was perfect. It was clean and felt very safe with santiser stations around the hotel and the staff wearing visors.

Amazing relaxing atmosphere and service. We ate in the hotel 3 times while we were there. For the most part, the food was lovely, but we were a bit disappointed with the meal in the panorama restaurant. The starters were very poor (celeriac soup and liver parfait). The breakfast there was also fairly average. Would have expected more for the price we paid for the meal.

They should not sell a room for 3 when only 1 bed in the room

Absolutely beautiful views from our hotel room. Service was great from the moment we stepped into the hotel and the bellman took our luggage out of our car parked our car and brought it straight up to our room. Food was very good and breakfast came with the room. Only issue was with their WiFi which was down for a couple of hours.

Hotel is very new and in very good condition. Staff is friendly and helpful. View from hotel is very good. However, we select room with no view. Good enought for us. Food in the hotel outlets are similar to wine list. So not much different. However food quality is good.

The propert had beautiful decor and the grounds area was well maintained.

The staff was amazing and the grounds spectacular. Wished we had stayed for multiple nights and we all agreed we’d come back to Ireland just to stay here. The pool is epic for adults and children.

Awesome. I wish we would have stayed longer. If anyone tells you 2 days is enough in Killarney and at this property they are mistaken.

Such a beautiful resort hotel. The pools far exceeded my expectations. The restaurants were great as well. Had dinner there both nights. Breakfast was also wonderful and nice that it was included.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at the Europe to celebrate our engagement. The hotel is incredible in terms of its facilities but it’s staff set it apart. Thanks to Claudia and the restaurant manager for making us so welcome and for making our celebration extra special! We were overwhelmed with all the little touches!

I did not want to leave! from the moment you enter the lobby you know this hotel is going to be amazing. The views are unparalleled. The lounge has fireplaces. Tons of views of the lake and mountains. There’s a beautiful quaint library. We ate the the hotel for several meals and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside is no air conditioning. If you are used to that, you will likely need to request a fan or keep doors open at night if you’re into that. We decided to keep our doors shut overnight but it might have been cooler had we felt comfortable keeping them open. All in all, this was a fabulous and memorable stay. Would recommend extremely highly!!

It was amazing. Beautiful property. The only hiccup was at check-in. I thought we had requested a lake view room, but was given a golf course view. I requested a change if possible. Once the young lady came back she informed me that they did indeed had a room they could move me to...at an increased price.Though we took it, I was disappointed that it seemed like a bait and switch. HOWEVER, the view and the rest of the experience at the property overshadowed this issue. Even to the point that we plan to return and stay much longer next time.

facilities were excellent, food was excellent and the staff were so helpfull.

Overall reception and staff very friendly. Felt that for such an upscale resort the dinner food and service overall could be better. Fish dishes need improvement. Pastry chef is excellent, beautiful and tasty.

The hotel, facilities and staff are amazing. The only thing that lets the hotel down is breakfast, they can't cope with the numbers. Hot food was poor and for a high end hotel there should be table service for hot food. Poached eggs undercooked everytime and warm bread instead of toast. Layout of food area is also poor as people waiting for cooked food block up the self serve area. Luckily we were at breakfast at 9am every morning as the queues at 10am were very long

We really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff, the food was delicious, the spa was a real treat. Very relaxing few days.

Had a lovely visit down, via Moll's Gap and the Gap of Dunloe. Really looked forward to my second stay, in less than six months. Allowed time to use the great spa facilities, and was in the outdoor pool, under the stars. Later went down to the lake-side to enjoy the amazing sight of so many stars in such a stunning location. Room was as good as the last time I had stayed and bed very comfortable. Was also looking forward to the buffet breakfast the next day, like last time. Unfortunately, hours after leaving the hotel I had to cut short my tour of the Beara Peninsula, and head home, as not feeling well. Ended up in bed for the next couple of days. My doctor confirmed that I had got food poisoning. I had only eaten at the hotel. Very disappointed, given you would not expect this from a five-star establishment and my first time getting this in Ireland. Would advise caution around the buffet.

Found hotel to be absolutely beautiful service was brilliant. But for a 5 star I am going into minor detail which is includes the temperature of the shower was all over the place, one minute it was too hot and next it was freezing cold so if were going into finer detail. I found the positioning of the telly in the room was stupid, if you laid into bed the telly was all the way in the corner beside the window and the bed was as the other end of the room. Breakfast was average, sausages were a bit tasteless , pudding was nice, rasher were fine, scrambled eggs average, they had a cook on hand to cook fresh eggs which was a great idea, he was pleasant. The views in the hotel are magnificent, overall a brilliant place to stay and service was unreal. But for a 5 star they have a lot I wouldn't say faults but parts of their hotel they could work on which was mentioned in review.

Beautiful luxury hotel with amazing views! Check in process was fast and informative and so welcoming! If you plan to visit the Rink of Kerry this is the hotel to book for a few days while you sink in the beauty and culture of Killarney and Ring of Kerry.

Beautiful hotel with spectacular views even nicer from the outside heated plunge pool. food is good it bit over priced for what it actually is .... Rooms are very spacious and clean, cleaning staff were very friendly Bed was comfortable but the pillows are extremely soft not my preference so didn’t sleep great.

This was our 3rd visit to the Europe Hotel and it never disappoints. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere for a five star and the staff are always very welcoming. We’ll certainly be back.

Hotel is amazing, the grounds and views are spectacular. The food in the panorama restaurant is amazing and the Pool, Gym and Spa facilities are some of the best I've ever been to. Loved every minute of it.

Very comfortable room, with good quality bedding and extremely quiet, even though the hotel was completely full. Fine bathroom, with full bath tub, even in the cheaper room. Some nice touches overall, such as a table with complimentary take-away teas and coffee when you leave the restaurant after the breakfast buffet, good quality bath robes for visiting the spa, and table fans in the room due to the recent heat in Kerry. Speaking of fans, I'm not a fan of the ill-advised fish motif on the bedroom wallpaper or the ugly radiator stuck vertically up the side of the wall by the bed, but, other than, the room is very restful and nicely furnished (if a bit cramped in the cheaper room). The highlight has to . be the pool and spa area, which must be one of the best for any hotel in Ireland, and, amazingly, not crowded at all even on an otherwise busy week-end in August. All the staff come across as genuinely interested, but not sycophantic, and very helpful and cheerful all the time. Overall, a very nice feel, even if the hotel looks like a Seventies office-block from the outside. Would definitely stay again, even in winter time, as the spa is so inviting. Rates can vary greatly online, so worth checking a few times.

Had a wonderful experience apart from a few glitches in room. Phone didn’t receive calls so couldn’t check on babysitter in room while at dinner downstairs. Iron works from a timer switch hidden st the back of the wardrobe which we didn’t find until too late and safe didn’t work.

It you want to relax then this is the place. We only stayed one night but made the most of it. Spent awhile in the active level relaxing. Had a drink before dinner out on the terrace and then to the Brasserie for a lovely meal.

This was my second stay in this hotel and we stayed for two days each time we loved it and we would recommend it to our friends. The staff and everything was perfect for our stay I would like to thank the staff in this hotel as the were very helpful to us excellent hotel. The scenery was beautiful all the area

Beautiful hotel in a great location with excellent views of Killarney National Park. Very large room with comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. The only negative for the room was that there is no air conditioning - only large windows and a small fan. Given rain, birds and music from a large party, we wanted to keep our windows closed, but it was just too warm in the room otherwise. Great restaurants and bars. Live music in the bar was great. Fitness, pool and spa facilities are amazing. Finding a parking space in the parking lot was a bit difficult - the lot seems very small given the number of hotel rooms. Very convenient location (a little outside of Killarney) for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula.

I really really wanted to like the hotel. Setting of the Europe is outstanding. The hotel itself was well appointed but for a newer 5 Star Hotel most rooms lacked A/C (something that wasn’t advertised). We were offered a room with A/C but the A/C didn’t work. It happened to be unseasonably hot (not the hotel’s fault). Because everyone had to leave their windows open due to the heat, at 11:15pm we were awakened to fireworks going off outside our room because of a wedding going on in the hotel. The staff didn’t seem to care or notify the guests. We heard several other guests mentioning it as well. Breakfast was very good and some of the staff very helpful but for the amount paid per night, I would never stay here again. It is sad because it has so much potential.

The Europe is such an amazing hotel we had 3 rooms for family,gorgeous views,helpful friendly staff,restaurant were wonderful was close to dingle peninsula and ring of Kerry as well as Killarney being such s delightful town,we hope to go back

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location directly overlooking the lake and mountains. Beautiful, modern and sophisticated decor throughout. Excellent dining and spacious rooms. My only wish is that there was room air conditioning, but everything has been 5 star.

The Europe Hotel and Resort is a fabulous location. My fiancé and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. There is such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere around the hotel it is warm and inviting. An absolute must in my opinion!

We loved everything about this hotel. The view from our room was spectacular, the people were extremely friendly and helpful and the restaurant was terrific. It was all that you expect from a top notch hotel.

Most disappointed that our 3 pm check in didn’t happen until 4.30. Missed an important meeting as a result of this inconvenience. Staff didn’t seem concerned at delay in check in .

Truly incredible experience from the moment I checked-in to when I checked out. The attention to detail on everything is phenomenal. The views are breathtaking and the spa is the ultimate luxury experience. The staff could not do enough to make you as comfortable as possible. Cannot wait until my next visit.
