30 on Whites Guesthouse

The location I liked most about the property. The exterior the yard of the property is very tidy Their toilets/showers beautiful

The head rests are very old and pealing off, please renew those very outdated room set up I was in

The friendliness of Charlotte and the team!

Alles sehr gepflegt, hilfsbereites Personal, im sicheren Teil der Stadt gelegen.

Breakfast was delicious and on time.

The bathroom had a funny smell

Beautifully furnished guest house with historical charm preserved. Large rooms comfortable beds. Good heating in winter with AC and electric blankets. Nice touch with some biscuits and little sweets. Good coffee making facilities. Secured property good parking space.

We used an ‘apartment’ (11 & 12) and room 3. The room 3 was really excellent. The apartment has some improvement points - no proper sink despite kitchenette and there is not really a door just the folding metal door.

Prima locatie voor op doorreis naar Joburg oid

Trap was smal met alle bagage en personeel niet heel vriendelijk

Gardens very neat and well maintained

Nothing

Happy to recommend to anyone. Great breakfast with much more than just the main optional order. Some pieces of furniture might need an upgrade/maintenance/replacement, but on the whole great quality fixtures bedding and equipment all round. The fireplace in the breakfasts room was welcome after waking to a zero degree Bloem.

Everything

That we have to place order for the next day breakfast

Great guesthouse, excellent location, coffee station meet expectations and spacious for a guesthouse. Staff helpfull and friendly. Vehicles parked inside safely.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, staff friendly and breakfast cozy

The shower pressure in room 6 was not great - especially if you have to wash long and thick hair but other than that we really enjoyed our stay

Great location and facilities

Nothing

Beautifully appointed guesthouse. Great overnight stay on our road trip. Our second visit. We’ll be back.

Lovely rooms and lounge in loft

Steep stairs

The 2nd time we've had a long stay and once again it exceeded our expectation. Marda and her team are first class and made our stay wonderful. Looking forward to the next visit...

Convenient, safe in a good area

Nothing

The are was good

I fealt that the guest house lacked atmosphere

Beautiful and quiet

Close to restaurants

Nothing

The scent on entering the room was very refreshing. The clean fresh linen. The extra blankets and the heater.

Possibly a suggestion. To possibly add a carpet to the bathroom during winter. (Warmth & cosy feeling)

Great location and amneties

Beds and bed choices need attention.

Great please

Great place

It was very good, good quality food and service was spot on. The food was very nice.

Nothing

Location good and safe environment

Floor in Room 1 uneven, damages hidden below mat, headboard showing wear and tear, no traveler's breakfast

The room aesthetics & cleanliness the friendly staff.

The place was amazing and comfortable. The breakfast could use an upgrade, the portions are very small as if you are catering for children, the bacon was very salty, the muffins were expired and the bread was off. Kindly ensure that you do better when it comes to breakfast, coffee and milk.

The breakfast could be 100% better.

Is a beautiful and Modern property.

There was nothing to not lack about the property was incredible.

Every was top tier.

It was a short stay, I really did not have much to complain about

Good location

Floor in room requir attention (Room 1) Very loud occupants in room/s closeby even after 23:30

We stayed on 30 on Whites on our way to Johannesburg from Cape Town and we couldn't have asked for a better stop: large rooms, good bedding, very clean, good location... I recommend and I will definitely come back

Great position, beautiful property

Last time we stayed in outside units which were great but this time in the loft of main house which was really impractical, ceilings were low and had to bend all the time, water pressure was low in shower and shower either too hot or very cold- nothing in between. Would not stay in loft again.

Beautiful, secure, upmarket and well kept establishment and grounds.Lovely restaurants close by. Can recommend Minnie’s Pizzaria.

The beds are terribly hard. Honesty bar in reception, nothing in the rooms so if you’re craving a midnight snack or after dinner snack you are out of luck. Reception gets locked up at night so you can’t access.

Apartment stylish decorated. Clean as always.

The comfortable bed, warm duvet and pillows.

Place was very clean and the housekeeping staff cleaned the rooms daily.

Host was not very friendly most of the time she seems uninterested in talking to me. I didn’t feel welcomed and wanted to cut the stay shorter but could not since we were coming all the way from Durban.

Excellent and beautifull

.

Clean, quiet, friendly stuff, beautiful place

central, clean, friendly s

NA

Place very good located.

Music from people next to me..

For us it was a very nice stopover between Pretoria and George on our road trip. Very friendly staff and spacious rooms. Helped us with breakfast packages even though we left very early 🙏😀

A Bad Experience!

Wrong Room. Booked Family with Kitchenette and got another room. Rooms are not at all sound proof. Noisy room next to us until 1am , Property is uncontactable after 21:00 , So if a pipe burst or electrical fault or any emergency you are on your own. One towel and bath robe still hanging in the bathroom. Only one robe. Terrible terrible experience.

Neat

Beautiful

The location

Room was nice though different from pictures

Well the staff specifically the manager. I had requested in advance for the cancelation fee to be requested but no response. I then called on the day and was told it would be actioned, only for her to deny the request. I understand that it is policy but the whole point was request to waive the fee.. It wouldn't have been a big deal for her to do but when you are money hungry its impossible to ask. Also the rooms have 0 privacy.

Always a good stay - clean friendly central and quiet 🤫

NO BREAKFAST-With check-inn the lady said we did'nt book for breakfast...BUT no question whether we would like breakfast!!

Friendlier staff/No wine glasses in the rooms/No fresh towels!!Pathetic honesty bar!

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly

None

Clean rooms, quiet area. Tranquil

Nil

I felt the location was very central to everything including my appointments and shops. Very convenient. The property felt safe and was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and had everything needed. The staff were very friendly, trustworthy and amazing. Loved my stay and would be happy to stay again.

There could be a bowl, plate and cutlery in the rooms just for use for dinner purposes. Otherwise I was happy with everything

I am a vegetarian and it was well catered for my requirement.

Everything!

Clean and nice location

The property was beautiful and very quiet. Lots of green spaces outdoors, and modern and clean indoors. The bed was very comfortable and the linen beautiful.

Nothing was a problem.

The room was neat and the bed very comfortable. The booking in was seamless.

Would have loved to have a hairdryer available, but not a big issue

Lovely lodgings in nice part of Bloem.

Would only recommend staff let you know cost of breakfast on arrival or have a notice in reception.
