Rien a signaler à part la climatisation qui semble un peu peiner mais qui fonctionne.

La longue marche avec les valises pour arriver jusqu'au logement, mais c'est le prix à payer pour être en plein centre avec la belle vue.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Gradelle San Nicola está en el corazón de los sassi. De hecho el alojamiento es uno de ellos. La habitación es preciosa, dando la verdadera experiencia de dormir en una cueva. Es muy confortable y tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía cómoda. El baño también está muy bien provisto. Las toallas y la ropa de cama son de buena calidad. El lugar tiene una terraza en la cual se sirve un desayuno rico y abundante y que también se puede disfrutar durante la tarde o la noche con una vista privilegiada. La atención de su anfitrión también es para destacar. Pudimos ingresar mucho antes del horario de check in y estuvo atento a cualquiera de nuestras consultas. La ubicación es perfecta y exactamente abajo hay un restaurante muy recomendable. Otra ventaja, si vas en auto, es que existe una línea de bus que entra a la zona de los sassi y que te permite trasladarte con el equipaje y que tiene una parada exactamente abajo del alojamiento (€1,5 por persona). Realmente lo recomendaría y sin dudas volvería.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Nel B&B di Emanuele siamo stati benissimo: la stanza era pulita, ordinata e accogliente, curata in ogni dettaglio e perfettamente inserita nell’atmosfera unica di questo luogo.
Non c’è nulla che non mi sia piaciuto, ci sono delle piccole cose di manutenzione da sistemare, ma è normale, sapranno già cosa devono fare.

Un ringraziamento speciale al signor Emanuele, che si è dimostrato molto disponibile, gentile e attento da cui abbiamo imparato tante curiosità del luogo e che ha contribuito a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e rilassante. La colazione è stata abbondante e molto piacevole con una splendida vista. Un’esperienza davvero positiva che consigliamo assolutamente e che siamo felici di aver vissuto!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Matera é maravilhosa e ficar hospedado bem no meio dos históricos Sassi tornou a nossa viagem super especial e marcante. Nosso quarto era lindo, super confortável e muito bem equipado, contando com uma cama de casal e dois futons. Chegamos no fim da tarde vindos das praias de Salento e o anfitrião foi extremamente gentil, receptivo e nos deu ótimas orientações. Ele chegou a nos enviar vídeos explicativos para facilitar o reconhecimento da nossa rua e do prédio, o que ajudou demais! O café da manhã é excelente e foi servido no terraço do pequeno edifício, proporcionando uma vista espetacular para os Sassi. A localização é perfeita, permitindo fazer caminhadas para todos os pontos turísticos, além de ter ótimos restaurantes e locais de visitação bem pertinho. Carros particulares não chegam perto do hotel (apenas táxis ou autorizados conseguem chegar mais próximo). Como estávamos com carro alugado, nossa estratégia foi deixar as malas de mão escondidas no porta-malas em uma das rua sugerida pelo anfitrião e descemos a pé para o apartamento apenas com as mochilas. Prepare-se para caminhar bastante. A região é repleta de escadas e ladeiras íngremes, o que é totalmente esperado para uma cidade tão antiga e diferente, mas que exige fôlego e calçado confortável.

La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement, ce qui est un must de nos jours. Nous avons apprécié la réactivité lors que nous avons demandé un fer à repasser et qu’on nous l’a déposé devant la porte 15min plus tard. Le petit déjeuner en terrasse avec vue sur Matera est copieux et excellent. De beaux produits locaux et cuisinés avec amour. Je recommande chaleureusement 😊

Abbiamo preso la stanza con 4 letti, ampia e accogliente; vi si accede direttamente da un vicoletto. Emanuele gentilissimo, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni per il parcheggio e per raggiungere la stanza.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026We highly recommend this accommodation. It is very beautiful, the owner is extremely kind, and he helped us with all the necessary information. The property is very well located: if you leave the car in the Saragat parking and take the bus from next to the parking lot towards Sassi, at the 5th stop you get off right in front of the property. We were happy that we didn’t have to carry our luggage around. The breakfast was varied and very delicious, plus there are two very good restaurants right next to the accommodation. You can also reach the cathedral very easily by taking the shortcut. 😃 If we were to stay in Matera again, we would definitely choose this property once more. Thank you, Emanuele.

Nada, hay que tener en cuenta que llevar valijas es complicado ya que es una zona donde no se puede estacionar. A 7 minutos caminando de un parking.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Wish we could stay longer. The location is easy to get to, not many steps for ppl with mobility issues (around 10-12 steps). The room is huge and exceptionally clean and well designed. Lots of spots to keep your stuff, especially when u have a 5 yr old with u :) the bathroom is large by EU standards, nice shower with hot water. Stunning view from the window of our room 3. The bfast was a feast- fresh croissants, house made zucchini focaccia n tomato focaccia, matera bread with jams, butter, apricot yoghurt and coffee/tea. No complaints, hands down the best value for money in terms of cleanliness, room size, breakfast, location, communication by the owners. Many spots r very close to this place and makes for a great photo spot too.
Absolutely nothing at all. The owners have taken care of the tiniest details and our family of three with a 5 yr old was well taken care of.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026First of all, a fantastic location! Great communication with the host. The heating worked perfectly (even though the weather was quite cold). The bed linen and towels were spotless. The breakfast was perfectly sufficient for us.
The apartment itself is quite small, and the kitchenette lacked a sink, but these are minor details, and not really important for a short stay.

Reviewed Mar 9, 2026Ottima la posizione! Molto centrale, lungo una delle due carrabili di Matera. L’ambiente era pulito, accogliente e confortevole; lo staff e il prof pietra io gentilissimi. La vera chicca è stata la colazione: abbondantissima, con focaccia e cornetti, yogurt, pane e confetture, succo e cappuccino. Non è semplice trovare una colazione con prodotti freschi. Lo consigliamo sicuramente!!!

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026This unique Sassi hotel is right nest to the main road, where you can take a bus to access. The interior is nice and comfortable, and comes with delicious breakfast. The host is very helpful with the parking suggestions. And it’s walkable to all the attractions in Sassi zone. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience in Matera, I totally recommend the stay.

Reviewed Jan 12, 2026Ενα εξαιρετικό διαμέρισμα στην καρδιά της Ματερα. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν συνεπέστατος και πολύ φιλόξενος. Το σπίτι ήταν άνετο και πολύ καθαρό. Οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε, αμέσως πήραμε απάντηση και το πρωινό ήταν φτιαγμένο με μεράκι.

Camera spaziosa e pulita, bagno molto piccolo ma considerato che la struttura è all'interno dei sassi credo non si potesse fare di più. La qualità dei prodotti freschi per la colazione (pane, cornetti, focaccia) ottima. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile nel dare consigli e suggerimenti per la visita della città
Avrei solo un suggerimento relativo alla colazione. Non avendo potuto usufruire del terrazzino (era dicembre) la colazione ci è stata portata in camera dove c'erano un tavolino e delle poltroncine ma non comodissime per mangiare. Consiglierei di cercare di migliorare questo aspetto.

Vicino al Duomo e a tante altre attrazioni. Sicuramente un posto in cui soggiornare di nuovo quando si è in città. Ringraziamo l'ospite.
