Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude ni le soir ni le matin. Je l’ai signalé mais je n’ai pas vraiment eu de réponse …. Et Petit déjeuner plus que moyen.

Super Erfahrung in den Höhlen zu schlafen. Der empfohlene Taxi Service funktioniert perfekt. Die paar Treppen zur Unterkunft schafft man auch mit großem Gepäck. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Frühstück genial auf der Terrasse mit Ausblick auf die Sassi. Das Bett ist total bequem und die Klimaanlage so gut eingestellt dass man sie auch über Nacht laufen lassen kann. Noch ein Tipp: Schuhe, egal ob Sandalen Sneaker oder Boots vor allem rutschfest sollten sie sein für Matera.

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt: bei diesem Übernachtungspreis erwarte ich ein kleines Fläschchen Wasser gratis statt 2 €

An amazing experience. The location and facilities were top notch and staying in a cave with bath, sauna and incredible views is a memory to cherish. Breakfast was delicious and staff gave great ideas.

The air conditioning did not work well and when we complained, nothing was done. Also, a lot of flights of stairs to lug your luggage up.

El estilo del lugar y la buena predisposición del personal es lo más destacable. La ubicación también es excelente. El desayuno si bien no es abundante en cantidad de productos, es exquisito todo. Prefiero poco bueno que malo en cantidad.

Non c'è nulla che mi abbia deluso.Anche i servizi sono stati veramente all'altezza della bellezza indiscussa di Matera.

La struttura ha una posizione centrale, proprio sotto la Chiesa Rupestre di Santa Maria di Idris, abbiamo dormito freschi pur essendo piena estate, dentro a una delle stanze-grotte; infinte la colazione con una vista su Matera!

Posizione centralissima , alloggio molto caratteristico, colazione ottima sia dolce che salata, staff e servizi super! Dormire tra i sassi di Matera è un’esperienza Unica e suggestiva… la stanza molto fresca, è presente un sistema di areazione continua con una ventola…La doccia funge anche da bagno turco. Ci è stato possibile lasciare i bagagli il giorno del check out fino alla fine della nostra passeggiata in città , visitando i punti di interesse principali grazie ai consigli preziosi dello staff. Consigliatissimo!

Siamo venuti a visitare Matera , abbiamo riscontrato un eccellente accoglienza , cortesia e disponibilità da parte dello staff . Posizione ottima , colazione molto buona . Affodarevi a Michele per una visita guidata immersiva .

Wunderschöner Ort umgeben von Natur, Ruhe, späktakulären Ausblicken, die jeden Moment zu etwas ganz Besonderes machen. Einzigartiger, wundervoller Aufenthalt vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Alles war perfekt und hat unseren Erwartungen erfüllt. Die Höhlenzimmer sind im Berg verteilt. Ein wunderschönes Erlebnis in einer "Höhle" zu schlafen, voller Respekt! Unser Zimmer war ordentlich und die Sauberkeit perfekt. Unsere Höhle war märchenhaft mit einem Hauch von Feuchtigkeit und ein leichter Geruch von "Höhle" Das leckere Fühstück mit selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Croissants, Baguette, Süßes und Herzhaftes, Obst, Saft und einen erstklassischen Cappuccino wird bei der Rezeption angeboten. Der angebotene Parkplatz-Shuttle vom Hotel hat ausgezeichnet pünktlich funktioniert, Matera mit den verwinkelten Gassen, vielen Ecken und Treppen ist ein Labyrinth und etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

Las vistas de nuestra habitación eran una auténtica locura! La habitación estaba muy bien, renovada y espaciosa, al igual que el baño. El desayuno se hace por turnos para organizar mejor y es muy completo y rico. B

It was a nice and perfect stay in Matera. Perfect location, super friendly receptionist who helped us arrange a taxi for our early departure. Very good breakfast. We will definitely recommend the hotel; we have wonderful memories.

Very good breakfast, although we prefer a self-service breakfast (no ordering at the buffet). The ashtray in the outdoor seating area could have been emptied before our arrival (we are non-smokers).

Ottima posizione. Ambiente curato. Camera in grotta con bagno scenografico. Personale molto disponibile nel fornire indicazioni. Ottima colazione con prodotti di qualità.

Sperimentare un soggiorno in grotta significa mettere in conto un’aria leggermente ristagnante (da tenere in considerazione se si hanno allergie o forme asmatiche). Da migliorare l’aerazione del bagno/doccia.

La struttura ha una posizione eccellente, proprio di fianco al Belvedere della Madonna dell’Idris. L’area della reception era molto curata e accogliente, la camera era giusta. Un dettaglio che non abbiamo apprezzato è stata la colazione a buffet, che doveva essere servita rigorosamente dallo staff. Un buon soggiorno, consigliato.

Die Lage war hervorragend, das Personal war super lieb und freundlich. Das Frühstück war zwar klein, aber dafür war es echt sehr lecker. Man hat alles was man brauchte. Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist und hatten vorab einen Parkplatz in einem Parkhaus (Nicoletti; 20€ pro Nacht) gebucht und hatten einen Shuttle (10€ pro Fahrt) zum Hotel. Das war super. Uns wurde vom Hotelpersonal auch sofort geholfen einen Shuttle zurück zu reservieren. Der Ausblick von unserem Zimmer war wirklich atemberaubend. Ansonsten war es auch sehr sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Unser Bett war leider etwas kurz. Ich mit meinem knappen 1,60m hatte schon Probleme. Dadurch, dass unser Zimmer an ein anderes Zimmer angrenzte und unsere Zimmer durch eine Durchgangstür verbunden war, war es extremst hellhörig. Wir konnten wirklich alles unserer Nachbarn hören (z.B. auch das Schnarchen etc.). Aber wir hatten dennoch Glück mit unseren Nachbarn, da sie an sich wirklich leise waren, dennoch kann man Pech haben. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war jetzt nicht außergewöhnlich gut, aber das kann man in dieser Lage verkraften. Das Wasser war auch mal kalt, mal warm. Im Sommer ist kaltes Wasser aber nicht schlimm.

Staff were efficient, informative about local sights, helpful with bookings and very friendly. Location was terrific for exploring all parts of the Sassi.

We loved the room, it was massive and great little cove area for the single bed. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were amazing and very helpful, and helped us get carparking sorted. The location was great.

Le dimore dell' Idris si trovano, a mio avviso, in una delle parti più belle di Matera, nei sassi Caveosi vicino ad una bellissima chiesa rupestre, quella della Madonna dell'Idris. La camera quadrupla era stupenda, ricavata all'Interno di un sasso con un bagno veramente incredibile. La camera è spaziosa , ideale per una famiglia di 4 persone, possiede l'aria condizionata ed un frigo. Siamo stati solo una notta ma il soggiorno è stato indimenticabile e Matera è un posto meraviglioso. Grazie!

Amazing hotel! The staff are very polite and helpful. The view and the room are fantastic! There's even a sauna in the room. Carrying luggage up the stairs is difficult, so I recommend checking in when the staff are there to get help.

Localização muito boa, no Sasso Caveoso de Matera, logo abaixo da Igreja de Santa Maria de Idris, com ótimas opções de alimentação em curta distancia a pé. Tivemos um checkout mais cedo que a disponibilidade de café da manhã e a recepção gentilmente organizou um lanchinho para consumirmos antes de partir.

Um pequeno detalhe em comparação ao custo vs benefício é que a iluminação do quarto é indireta, e não havia espelho fora do banheiro, o que poderia facilitar a organização dos hóspedes já que o quarto comporta até 4 pessoas.

Todo. Las vistas desde la habitación, el desayuno, la ubicación tan cerca del autobús, el silencio, el alojarte en la parte antigua y poder disfrutar desde primeras horas de la mañana antes de que lleguen los viajeros. Hay una gran diferencia entre hacer una excursión de día o alojarte en Matera.

Al ser los techos muy altos, el aire acondicionado, a veces, no es suficiente para refrescar la habitación. Pero forma parte de la oportunidad de alojarte en un lugar así.

O banheiro não dispunha de uma prateleira para itens de higiene pessoal, não havia uma papeleira de parede ou de chão para o papel higiênico, o café da manhã era servido item a item e isso gera um certo constrangimento, apesar dos funcionários tentarem te deixar a vontade, tinha pouca fruta Tb.

L’emplacement La qualité de l’accueil et du service

Si le critère principal est l'emplacement, la note vaut largement 20/10. C'est un énorme privilège que de dormir au coeur des ruelles de Matera, juste en dessous de Santa Maria dell'Idris. La vue depuis l'hôtel est splendide, et prendre le perit déjeuner dans un Matera désert au milieu du village est extraordinaire. Le petit déjeuner justement, est sympathique mais un peu petit. C'est un buffet qui malgré la diversité des produits proposés reste petit : il faut faire la queue, et si des produits viennent à manquer il faut patienter jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient réapprovisionnés. Il reste tout fait convenable cependant. Les chambres sont grandes, hautes de plafond, spacieuses et très propres. La vue sur Matera par la fenêtre est splendide. La literie est impeccable. En revanche, la salle de bains mériterait un rafraichissement, le cerclage du robinet de douche ne tenait pas, ce qui était embêtant lorsque l'on manipule le tuyau. Enfin, pour le parking, une petite précisison : nous avons choisi de nous garer au parking communal à 10€ pour 24H. Cependant, il s'agit de 10€ par jour jusqu'à minuit, et non de 24 heures cummumables, comme dans d'autres endroits. A titre emd'exemple, nous nous sommes garés à 15H et repris notre voiture à 11H le lendemain matin et avons donc dû débourser 20 euros. Un stationnement pour une nuit vous coûtera donc 20 euros et non 10. Il aurait été interessant de mieux le préciser aux clients. En dehors de ceci, le Dimore Dell'Idris reste un très bon choix pour un séjour à Matera.

La ubicación es excepcional, dentro de la zona más antigua de Matera, situado donde se encuentra uno de sus mejores miradores. La atención ha sido inmejorable, brindándonos información sobre los puntos destacados para visitar en nuestra estancia y donde poder comer. El desayuno cuenta con productos de panadería de muy buena calidad. Fue muy bueno también el servicio de estacionamiento con traslados hasta el hotel.

The only issue we had was people sitting outside there rooms quite late as the noise travelled.

Location is lovely - very central and close to restaurants and key sights. Reception/Breakfast Room is lovely and the array of breakfast goods were excellent. Breakfast service was good and the Receptionist was pleasant & provided lots of valuable information on check-in. Matera is wonderful

Our room was not the one advertised on booking.com. It had very limited natural light with only a small window in the door - there were no other windows - we had to have an internal light on at all times. It was up an extremely long staircase with limited handrail. Our main issue was the lack of ventilation and light in the room - particularly the bathroom; the poor standard of the bathroom; the poor standard of the fixtures and fittings. We were travelling with 2 other couples and despite paying more than them our room was very inferior to theirs. When I complained I was told that the photographs on booking.com were examples only and you were not guaranteed the room standard indicated. I requested a new room and outlined the significant issues with the room- and the huge discrepancies with our friends rooms. I was told my room had only just been refurbished - see the pictures attached - and if I wanted to move I had to pay another 145 euros for the night. Also it was extremely hot in the room but the air con remote didnt work - and we had no way to ventilate the room. I would recommend that if you book this hotel you ask for specific photographs of the room you will be allocated. It did very much spoil what was meant to be the highlight of our tour and I felt very disappointed at the hotels response.

De locatie is prachtig middenin Matera. We hadden een eigen terrasje. Het ontbijt is heel goed maar geen zelfbediening. De medewerkers zijn heel aardig en behulpzaam.

The aircon was not available until June. We were there at the end of May and it was warm and quite humid in the room. If we had aircon this would not have been an issue.

Das Zimmer ist etwas klein. Die sog. Terasse besteht nur aus zwei Stühlen direkt vor der Zimmertür und Treppen. Wenn die Sonne scheint, kann man sich dort nicht zu lange aufhalten.

Unique experience sleeping in a cave room. Had shower and bath tub and sauna. The staff was amazing, taking care of dinner reservations and scheduling shuttle. Included a very good buffet breakfast. Incredible views of Matera right outside room.
