Very Close to the City and the national Park.

No parking Places and only Mixed Dorms.

Wonderful friendly atmosphere in the hostel. Dorms were a good size, comfy beds, decent lockers. I also liked the en-suite facilities. Just minutes from bars, restaurants and shops.

One miserable male member of staff brought the mood down. One wonky tap in Australia dorm en-suite. Not a big deal but not perfect either.

Très accueillant, bien situé dans un environnement calme. Cuisine bien garnie. Pain brun irlandais cuit sur place et accessible. Délicieux. Accès à du café spécialisé et des brioches ($) à proximité. Le jardin est confortable, spécieux et nous donne l’impression d’être à la campagne.

I stayed here for one night with my mother, and it was her very first hostel experience—I’m so glad we chose this place! The staff were really, really nice and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room is cozy, the beds were comfortable, the brilliantly designed wood-made lockers under the beds were really good. I felt safe and at ease throughout our stay. It turned out to be the perfect introduction to hostelling for my mum. Highly recommended!

Great location (a 5 min walk from the city centre). The breakfast was great. The staff was nice. The bed was comfortable. They have dogs!! (they don't care about you but they're cute!)

You can give your clothes for the laundry (which is a good point), but the price was quite expensive.

És un hostel.molt ben situat. Les treballadores són molt simpàtiques. Té esmorzar inclòs, i la cuina és molt gran, a més hi han ous de les pròpies gallines.

És una mica car. Et fan deixar el DNI o un dipòsit de 10€ per la clau

Das Personal war superfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Schlafraum war geräumig, die Schlaf Kabine gut. Das Frühstück war super und auch konnte man zwischendurch warme Getränke machen. Das Hostel war sehr zentral zum Park und Stadt gelegen.

Leider gab es keine Waschkabine, das empfand ich als nicht so gut, man möchte ja nicht immer duschen. Die Straße war sehr laut. Mit Ohrstöpseln ging es dann.

Personnel adorable, hostel bien placé, petit déjeuner inclus, chambre propre, dortoirs réservés aux femmes.

Un peu cher, pas de parking gratuit disponible.

Lits super confortables, petit déjeuner gratuit et très bon, personnel au top (mention spéciale à Yasmine !)

Staff and people were great, really enjoyed my stay at the Black Sheep Hostel.

One night in the early hours there were people the making a lot of noise on the benches outside the hostel. As it was a warm night the windows were open for air to cool the room. One of the girls in the room had to shout at them to leave and they eventually did. Got back to sleep eventually.

On a tout adoré mais Il faut mettre à jour l’annonce Booking qui ne dit pas qu’il y a une cuisine dans l’appartement et qui dit qu’il y a une place de parking, ce qui n’est pas vrai.

The beds were clean, continental breakfast included, nice outdoor space and kitchen. Bathroom was decently clean. People staying there as guests were great.

Upon arrival, my locker was the only one with a broken locking mechanism so it could not be secured. When I brought this up to the manager, she dismissed the concern because the place is "pretty safe." I asked if there were ANY open lockers I could use and she said no (shortly after I watched her book a man a room as a walk in.) One of the staff suggested that she could go to the hardware store to replace the lock (thank you to this girl!) and eventually this is what then ended up doing, but it was unclear to me how they were going to fix the lock until I returned later in the evening and it had been replaced. Generally, I had an issue with the staff being pretty unfriendly/unwelcoming (similar to other reviews I also watched them make fun of another guest at the front desk which was weird) but I appreciate the girl that ended up helping me with the lock situation!

I love everything about this hostel, it's a home away from home❤️

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds and clean facilities. The garden was lovely, and the chickens eggs and homemade bread were a lovely touch. The breakfast was simple but just what you need. The location was great, 15 min walk from the bus station, in town but down a quieter street

The floorboards in the room (australia) were so creaky and made excessive noise. The guy in the bunk below me snored but thats not the fault of the hostel.

Excellent location, quiet. Good enough breakfast. Lovely garden. We stayed in the apartment and it was very specious, cozy too. And away from the street so super quiet at night with own kitchen.

The bed desperately needs an upgrade, it was uncomfortable. The hostel has so many lovely common spaces and yet no one talks to each other. This was strange. Staff are friendly and yet distant.

Everything starting from location, rooms and above all hospitality. The warmest people I found in this hostel. Because of them it feels more like home than hostel. First of all I requested them for a lower bunk which I forgot mention while booking. Despite being fully booked they accommodated my request. Secondly I forgot my rain jacket at the hostel while checking out. They went out of their way and sent it to me by the hand of another person who was coming to the railway station. Their zeal to help a person going beyond their ways has made this hotel exceptional for me. I will highly recommend to everyone to stay here

The floor on the room was very noise when you walk, I was trying to be quiet but when you walk it is like it’s cracking. I stayed at Australia room.

You couldn’t fault a thing, very professionally ran hostel, great privacy in the bunks, they really have considered all the fine details of a persons stay and have accommodated all needs. I was very impressed, it exceeded my expectations.

Best hostel ever. Great vibe, calm, gorgeous, artistic and thoughtful, very clean, community minded, feels like home. I wish i lived there.

This hostel has so many lovely places to relax and take space, like outside in the garden or in the kitchen nooks or the living room. All cooking supplies you’d need are here, and I really appreciated the curtain on the bed allowing for privacy. Many bathrooms available and everything was very clean and tidy. Overall a very cozy and welcoming hostel that I would definitely come back to. Killarney is a gorgeous place to visit, so many outdoors to explore and swim, and the town itself is right outside the hostel and is fun to explore as well.

Le seul bémol serait pour moi la taille de la salle commune pour le petit déjeuner, un peu petite, mais cela favorise les échanges avec ses voisins !

Location, the way it’s decorated, the thought put into it, the kind international staff, affordable, prize, the creativity, the incredible yard, the wonderful eating area. It’s just exactly why I love hostels.

The toilet that shares a wall with the Columbia room sometimes makes a crazy noise, but you can fix it by taking off the top of the lid and moving things around. I’m sure that’s a temporary situation. Nothing else. That place was great.

Great facility, beautiful garden in the back. Location is convenient being right next to the park and in the city center.

Emplacement, propreté, espaces communs, cuisine toute équipée, jardin a l'arrière, prise electrique/USB ainsi que rideau et coffre de rangement équipent chaque lit, petit déjeuner inclus (pain, céréales, thé, café instantané, yahourt, fruits), location de vélos pratique pour explorer le parc national adjacent... J'y retournerai!

Pas de café frais au petit déjeuner malgré la présence d'un coffee shack au sein même de l'auberge), parquet grinçant (prévoyez des boules quies).

Loved the outdoor chill out area and the bike rental was handy

The hostel itself was fine. In a good location.place was clean. Other guests were very friendly and helpful.

I only stayed for,4, nights in an eight bed hostel but I was charged twice. £203.37,,,on the 5th June and _£251.04 on the,8th June. I pointed this out to Kevin the manager but he didn't seem interested I have got proof of payment on my bank details statement . I would like one of those amounts paid back please O have emailed The Black Sheep but have had no reply I am a pensioner so can't afford to get overcharged by paying £454.41 for a four night stay in an 8.bed hostel

Clean, comfortable. Really nicely laid out. Adorable back garden and great location. Staff were prompt and friendly. Room and bed were comfortable. Plenty of storage and I liked the privacy curtains on each bed. I would stay here again.

The care and love put into this place is evident in every corner. Beautiful decorations and murals, thoughtful recommendations for activities, caring staff, a beautiful garden. We absolutely loved our stay. The homemade brown bread at breakfast was delicious!!
