Clean and comfortable fresh water avaliable any time. Lots of interesting history the Oddesy bar was great food perfect. Off street parking a bonus in a busy town.
Unfortunately as with all hotels the window did not open fully but that is down to H&S laws .
Beautiful place and delicious breakfast
.

A well appointed room with a particularly nice bathroom
Fantastic and very helpful staff, Everything and Everyone we met during our stay where Exceptional.
That this 100% gem didn't have accommodation for another night's stay for myself and my wife as thay where booked out.
Breakfast lovely. Staff lovely
Had to change rooms, very noisy at back of hotel
Comfortable hotel with lots of character, not mass produced sterile boutique chain style. Clearly popular and well used by locals as well as visitors.
Traffic is awkward to navigate to get in to hotel carpark.
Amazing cute quirky pub with live music playing we stayed on a Thursday evening I had a lovely room to myself. Everybody was friendly and chatty and the breakfast was amazing they even let me take a scone away with me 🥰 I'm from the UK and I will definitely return to this hotel and stay longer
Only the fact I couldn't stay longer..
So warm and comfortable food was Frist class

This is an older type hotel with modernisation ongoing. The food and service is excellent to be fair.
I didn't mind but the building can be a bit of a maze.
Bright, clean and welcoming. Lovely rooms., good breakfast and service.

Only thing for me is i wish there was a lift as I struggled with the stairs.
Lovely spacious room with high ceilings.

Good food friendly staff
No lift and very noisy till late
Location, food and nightlife great
Old hotel and historical, so some facilities are dated.
The Central location was super convenient. There was a good selection of food available throughout the day and evening (The breakfast is buffet style)The staff were welcoming. I liked the old fashioned decor in the bar, hall and lobby
The room was very warm. There are a good few steps up to the bedroom which may be an issue for some people.
Central location. Good food and friendly bar.
No lift ( one is being installed). No air con or fans.
Food was excellent and location perfect

Old furniture, poorly cleaned, no lift, very difficult to get to the room. No deiry free options for (very expensive) breakfast, even if requested
breakfast
Excellent hotel
Gorgeous comfy room. Great staff and location.
Nothing....all was perfect!
Staff were friendly and helpful
The room was very warm. We had to open the window all night and it was incredibly noisy with bottles blanking, a load party and music until very late and an air-conditioning unit going all night from the building next door. It's a pity it wasn't for the building we were in.
Food was excellent. Breakfast best I had .in a verey long time.hotell was great in middle of the town. Every thing at hand. Bar 🍸 restaurant. Are good to .I've back again soon..
Booked for my elderly parents on several occasions. They loved it 😍 Staff, food, cleanliness and hospitality are second to none! It’s now there home from home 🏡

Its a great location, very central. Room was lovely, bright and big. Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast with loads of options. The lady serving breakfast was a real trouper as it was quite busy.
The channels on the tv were a bit random, most of the irish ones did not work but it was just a minor thing
Everything was perfect. Great staff (office and cleaning) and answered my requests always findind a solution, the room was perfect, the breakfast quite copious. The hôtel in itself is very beautiful and interesting. The pub has some atmosphère and is perfect for the evening.the check out is at 12:00 which is also noticeable.
Nothing.
Room was very comfortable and staff were excellent
Quant hotel in the centre of mullingar town ideal for us as we had done the greeway from athlone town on bicycle. They have a locked bicycle shed at the rear of the hotel
Everything was 1st class breakfast waz lovely
Central to Mullingar. Old world traditional type midlands Ireland hotel with updated modern touches. Food lovely and very popular for lunch/carvery and breakfast with the local community. Ulysses bar done up very nice with candles on tables and roof/garden terrace
Nothing too much - maybe the car park is a bit small
It was central had car parking and was clean.
There was no music at night and there was work going on aswell during our stay.
Staff & location
Nil
Great location & food provided all day - enjoyed the museum & local history.
No problems
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
I didn't like the shower in the bath, prefer a stand alone shower
Hotel is very welcoming with a lovely atmosphere and very spacious . Staff very attentive and welcoming.
This was the last of a five hotel/b&b stays in Ireland and was the best. The exterior of the hotel was covered in beautiful flowers; the hotel itself had a wonderful history with its own small museum and famous residents from. James Joyce to Luis Capaldi. The room was fine and clean with tea making facility. The food was very good with lots of choices both at lunch and in the evening. The highlight for me was the breakfast which was brilliant, enhanced by the wonderful lady called Cathy, I think, who couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. The other staff were all very pleasant. Great place to stay and hopefully we will return.
The room was bright and clean.
Staff at reception could do a better job with customers
Staff were amazing - excellent food in bar and restaurant- comfy beds - music at night - couldn’t recommend high enough
