We had a fantastic stay at Central Park Reef Resort. Check-in was smooth and the staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived! They were happy to help and so lovely! The rooms are spacious, spotless, and genuinely comfortable, a great surprise given the price. We loved that there are two pools to choose from, the ground-floor pool is more relaxed, shaded feel during the day, while the rooftop infinity pool (open in the afternoon/evening) has incredible sunset views over Subic Bay. The on-site restaurants served up a solid mix of local and international dishes, and the whole property has a stylish, modern feel that photographs even better in person. For anyone after a hassle-free, beach-adjacent getaway with genuinely friendly service, this is a great choice. 10/10 happily coming back!!!

Things started out a little bumpy. One of the reasons that we chose this hotel is that they advertised a laptop sized room safe. The safe in our room wasn't working so they upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite for both nights of our stay. The room was perfect and no complaints.

The bed was a bit too firm. The jacuzzi leaked a lot on the floor.

The management has complete disregard of guest safety. The floor of the lobby is wet and slippery, thus very prone to fall. The same is true at the 6th from 4 PM onwards. This is because the guest who uses the indoor pool/ beach passes thru the lobby in going to the elevator and back to their rooms with their body/ clothing dripping with water. The food is very ordinary. The toilet at the lobby is not well maintained. The frontage of the hotel is unkempt. Our room, though quite spacious and relatively clean, but the beddings and provided beach towels are worn out. In as much as I want to help the tourism industry of the area, sadly, never will I ever go back to this hotel

It’s very central to Subic, Barretto SBMA. Making it easy to move around.

The rooms need updating and structure needs to be improve. It’s advertise as a luxury brand but it has major improvements to be done. Still a solid option.

The staff, the room is comfortable. But lack of facilities to roam around.

Can't comply with urgent needs, like there was a tune we need just OTC meds.the front desk reply you don't have, you have no event a small clinic for urgent care, other hotels have, no breakfast included for the accommodation,normally hotels have.

Stayed at Central Park Reef Resort in Subic and had a bit of a mixed experience overall. Pros: The hotel itself is very clean and modern, which immediately stands out. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, definitely a plus if you’re staying with family. Both pools are great in different ways — the ground floor pool has a really nice shaded setup with a relaxed atmosphere, while the rooftop pool is perfect for sunset views overlooking the beach. The American diner-themed restaurant is also a nice touch aesthetically. Cons: Food was unfortunately a letdown. The pizza tasted like something straight out of the freezer, squid rings were tough and had a fishy taste, and breakfast was pretty average at best — especially considering the price point. What really stood out (in a bad way) were the extra charges. Being asked to pay ₱100 for an extra pillow and ₱50 for ice felt excessive. I even requested a simple room setup for our 7th anniversary, and they quoted ₱5000, which was honestly surprising. It feels like they try to charge for every little thing. Overall: Great facilities and comfortable stay, but the food quality and constant add-on charges take away from the experience. Good place to relax, just don’t expect much from dining or flexibility with requests.

The 6th floor was the highlight—the pool, bar, and live band were absolutely awesome!

The food was quite disappointing—overpriced and not very tasty. We also experienced flies and mosquitoes in Ocean View Room 310. Scented candles were available in the room, but note that there is an extra charge if you use them.

Beach is decent

The room is infested with cockroaches. The surroundings of the hotel is noisy with dogs barking and karaoke until 1am from the neighborhood on a Monday night. Food for breakfast took an hour and the order was wrong. Receptionists could be a bit more welcoming/approachable.

The staff always very helpful. The food is good and the location is rite in the heart of everything.

The rooms where a little worn down, if the doors were renovated the rooms would be much more noise cancelled. Had to change rooms because of bugs, but it was no problem. The hotel was kids friendly, but as soon you stepped out the door, not a good place for kids. But that is not the hotel's fault

They put this silly sari sari store in your room and the you’re responsible for it ! They expect their guests to inventory it and be responsible! Not coming back !

Bett unbequem, Klimaanlage sehr laut, haben uns darüber beschwert und ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Dort war die Klimaanlage etwas leiser aber trotzdem zu laut. Preis Leistung passt nicht, aber es war immerhin sauber.

Modern hotel, good location, large room with SOME decent facilities - but almost cancelled out by the negative issues listed below.

Expensive mini-bar, average aircon, no fridge freezer - just a poorly functioning drinks chiller, no smart TV, a bath tub with a broken drainer - which had been patched (bodged) up and several noisy guests.

What I ddnt like that they accused me of drinking a water and using a toothbrush that is not complementary but I really swear I never used anything that I know it’s for free .., I just wanna say make sure u check or take a pic of everything specially the trash so you have proof if anything ..,, overall the place is nice and the location front beach is amazing ..,

The pools and restaurant was nice.

Two of our four rooms had a lot of cockroach’s, after we where moved to a different room for the night in order for the staff to clean the rooms, we left our key with reception and our bags packed so they could move us back the next day but the handover from morning to afternoon shift wasn’t done and reception kept calling our room every 30 min in the afternoon asking us to move, and this meant my 95yo grandmother had no rest because of the constant harassment. After all this we never received an apology from the manager or any offer of compensation.

Nice swimming pool staff was very good. Cleanliness was very good.

You have to pay for everything, including slippers. There’s no shower cap, and the blanket quality is disappointing. Compared to other hotels in the area, the service and value for money are much better elsewhere.

Everything was good except some minor things.

When the room door is left opened, it makes a beeping sound. Some guest left the room opened next to us and it was beeping for over 1 hour. I called about this and they said they would get it checked. As expected no one checked it so i went to the room next to us (408) and closed it. The toilet seat on 409 is not properly aligned. Jacuzzi was so dirty, so we didnt bother to use it even though this is the reason why i chose the jacuzzi suite. When i started the jacuzzi the water became instantly black and full of sand. Vendors outside that keeps asking you to buy things.

The staff were nice and somewhat friendly. When my door stopped working or not locking, they were able to send someone right away and had it fixed. The Air conditioning worked just fine.

I was disappointed with the property. It was dark, dingy and the room needed better cleaning. The elevator was too small and very hot. The numbers to press were hard to find when the sun hits the numbers on the elevator floor. I did not like the fact that there is a time to access the beach and a time to access the swimming pool on the top floor. For a hotel to be somewhat new, this property is not being maintained very well. Very disappointing.

Check in was super easy. My flight arrived at 6am and I arrived at the property at about 11. Check in wasn't until 3pm but they had a room ready and was able to accommodate me as I was tired. The front desk staff were super friendly and handled my every need. Bell service was available to handle my bags that was great. I got one of the less expensive rooms but it was still large with a king bed and a partial view of Subic Bay. I was happy. The only thing missing was a microwave. I had left overs from the restaurants and couldn't heat them. There is a fridge with a stocked mini bar with things for purchase. There were chips, several types of beer, coke, sprite, milk and a couple types of juice. I ate several times at the two restaurants. They have large menus and the food was very good. Service was fine and about what you'd expect. Overall the value was pretty good and I'd stay again.

The hotel is in a great location (if you like Barrio Barretto), right on the beach. It is one of the grander hotels in the entire area, with some unique features. This hotel could be great, but the staff ruined it for me. I had lots of problems and the staff always seemed apathetic. They never followed up to see if the problem was fixed or showed any sympathy and didn't communicate well. E.g., the wifi didn't work for many hours; I had to call many times and threaten to check out to get anything done. One day they forgot to clean my room and when I asked for housekeeping at 4:45 and they said they couldn't because it stops at 5 PM. The next time I tried to be proactive by calling at 2 PM to ask to clean my room. They said "sure" but nobody ever showed up. I called back two hours later but nobody answered the phone. I gave up. It really shouldn't be this hard. And so on. Other problems... If I ever left any food in the room, it would be swarming with ants a few hours later, even if the bag was tied. The room was missing a lot of amenities you'd expect at this price...they didn't have Kleenex, bathrobe, hand towel, or tea bags. Oh, and they wanted 50 pesos for some ice (unlike almost every other hotel I've been to). To be honest, I was happy to leave.

It's my second stay here, the hotel is a bit above my normal budget but I enjoyed my stay. The old reception staff from my last visit unfortunately were not working there anymore. As in my last review, I stated that the infinity pool at the top floor only opens at 4 pm which I really found a pity. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Only this time I did not have a bathrobe and slippers anymore. Which I had my last visit. Check in and out was smooth

Anyone who travels around Asia knows that the number four is an unlucky number. It’s also well understood that the number 13 is unlucky. Well, I had room 413. I don’t like to write negative reviews. I really don’t. I’ll tell it like it is though. The people who checked me in Yes I say people rather than the professional staff, seemed rather offputting and unwelcoming. I was treated like I was checking in. Well no I wasn’t. I wasn’t treated like I was checking in for a bus because frankly victory liner bus service does a better job. They’re more professional. The room was broken. Damage the door frame to the bathroom, a leaking AC unit and a chair that was well worn up against the desk. If you could see the AC unit in action, it was quite impressive. If it was to fill a tank for water consumable water that is it would probably feed a family of 12 for a week after only one night stay. It was terrible. It’s a wonder that the floor hasn’t come up yet.

I liked location and security. Staff were friendly and helpful. they wanted to charge me for a bucket of ice but gave me a plastic cup of ice for free. Security kept the venders at a distance.

I didn't like the heavy balcony door with no handle on the outside to get back in. The shower floor had soap scum in corners. There was no hand towels or face cloth. Chairs on balcony felt like they were going to break. Very wobbly. There should be more then one person Allowed to mix drinks, waiting time was close to 15 minutes for a drink at the bar.

Booked here and then read a lot of recent bad reviews….my experience was the exact opposite. All the staff were extremely friendly. Anything I needed was dealt with as quickly as possible. I had a jacuzzi suite- jacuzzi worked great, the room ahead an incredible view, room service was affordable and quick, front desk staff arranged taxi service for me, air conditioning worked great and I didn’t see any bugs. Sure there are locals trying to sell souvenirs-but that’s everywhere in the Philippines! I bought some cool bracelets off a guy on the beach. I’m not too into clubbing, but if you are there’s a lot of nightlife. I chose to stay in and enjoy my room most of the time. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! 10/10
