Travelodge by Wyndham Gananoque

La chambre n'a pas été rénovée depuis quelques années. La vue de notre balcon donne sur un hôtel plus luxueux. Le déjeuner se prend au comptoir de la réception d'hôte, il n'y a pas de salle à manger. Pour utiliser la piscine de l'hôtel, nous devons sortir à l'extérieur de notre chambre, marcher dehors jusqu'à la réception,entrer à l'intérieur et prendre la sortie qui donne accès à la piscine extérieure de l'hôtel... notre chambre était au rez-de jardin pourquoi...

Certaines tablettes de la douche n’avaient pas été nettoyées. Le reste était somme toute propre.

The location was very good, the reception staff was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed conversations with the receptionists and their advice on exploring the area. The pool was enjoyable.

There was an unpleasant odour in the washroom that was coming from the ventilation. Breakfast was not what I was expecting. Muffins loaded with sugar is not a good healthy breakfast and not reflecting the high rate paid per night.

La première chambre n'était pas propre, la baignoire brisée et la clim dégueulasse. J'ai du convenir que l'on me change de chambre pour une meilleure. Cependant la seconde était parfaite

Good location close to good restaurants and nice shops. Gananoque is a beautiful place to visit.

Globalement un hôtel parfait pour une étape d’un ou deux soirs. Équipement qui commence un peu à dater mais rien de rédhibitoire. Un hôtel dans le pur style américain. Très satisfaisant. Petit déjeuner simple en libre service à emporter.

Propreté de la chambre

Breakfast options were limited. Pancakes were great but having an egg option would have been even better.

We had issues with the AC on the first night. Using the pool and not having a dryer for clothing was not ideal since we were on the top floor with no option for outdoor drying. Accessibility to the lobby and pool was a bit limiting since we were on the top floor and had to use the outside stairs to get around.

The hotel is old and the needs renovation. Location was good, rooms and bathroom were clean, comfortable beds. Staff was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast as mentioned in many other comments is not a breakfast, it's more like a snack. If you're not a pancake person you better bring your own food like we did.

Staff were friendly with an easy check in and check out. The property is super convenient to everything to see and do in Gananoque. Comfortable beds and great showers! The outdoor pool and patio area are amazing!

The only thing I would change is the towels, they are small lol

Would be okay but seriously not for the price!! $310 a night for a Travelodge in Gananoque is crazy. Also the room was not too clean, I dont say its the employees, but often owners saving money?

Cleanliness not great. Super noisy fan in bathroom and loud air conditioner. No maid service or new towels. Slight musty odor in the room. Would not return.

No outdoor seating other than pool area. Breakfast was less than expected. Only oranges for fruits, pancakes and muffins. Missing healthy choices.

The breakfast was good and quick. The location was nice and close to area we wanted to visit.

The top stairs leading to pool area is higher rhan the rest of stairs making it jard to go down.

J'ai aimé la propreté de l'établissement qui est très bien tenu. Des personnes qui s'occupent de l'entretien sont venues tondre le gazon dans la cour arrière de l'hôtel. Le contrat est bien exécuté et propre. Les appareils et les meubles et sanitaires étaient tous en bon état de marche et nous avons bien aimé le bain à remous pour se détendre. Les rideaux à l'épreuve des rayons du soleil ont été grandement appréciés, notre chambre donnant sur le soleil de l'après-midi. Le déjeuner était bon et on voyait que des efforts étaient faits en ce sens.

Il y avait deux climatiseurs dans notre chambre, car nous avions pris une suite, mais il y en avait un qui fonctionnait mieux que l'autre. Une douche téléphone pourrait être utile car il y a un banc pour s'asseoir dans la douche à l'Italienne mais le jet d'eau est un peu trop loin pour l'usage de ce banc.

The cleaning, pictures where filthy something was all over the glass, the bathrooms need a deep clean and look behind the doors. Sliding doors are black. Glass needs a good shine. The pool floor was slimy.

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement, la taille de la chambre, le confort du lit, la piscine chauffée et le petit-déjeuner compris. Un super rapport qualité/prix pour cet établissement où nous sommes restés 3 nuits.

Tout était parfait la piscine est parfaite..réservée ( cachée de la rue) température de l'eau parfaite ...la dame qui nous a accueilli était vraiment chaleureuse ! Le café était très bon le déjeuner était satisfaisant fruit crêpes jus café thé et muffin.

J'ai tout apprécié mais j'aurais aimé un plus de savons pour le corp vue que c'est une chambre 2 lit queen 1 mini bouteilles de chaque ( savon shampoing)n'ont pas été suffisante :)

Les traces de chaussures dans la salle de bain et le fait que quelqu'un soit venu cogner à ma porte à plusieurs reprises pendant que j'étais dans la douche...jusqu'à ce que je sorte pour aller voir, et la personne était parti (je croyais que c'était un employé de l'hôtel vu la persistance, mais c'était peut-être aussi un client).

It was old and worn but clean. Reception was excellent but the room was never cleaned nor was the bed ever made.

The room was excellent, the pool was very nice and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the continental brwakfast and the staff made our stay great.

The hot tub was clean, powerful with relaxing jets. We loved that it was a drive up and has two doors one opening to a courtyard where the dogs could play some ball and suntan.

Didn't use hot tub or pool,staff was very helpfull and room was satisfactory, close to dining options

The room was a bit dated but very clean. Check-in took 5 minutes. For $100 a night I have absolutely no complaints.

Tanya was awesome at check-in. She was personable, helpful and very informative. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 1611. Tanya was apologetic and went to make sure somone was going to get it ready right away. We could tell the housekeeping staff rushed to make it available. There was garbage beside the bedside table, crumbs on the bedside table and hair on the toilet and edge of the bathtub.

The front desk people were so nice. Great service. We had a room facing the pool. Loved it. Pool is heated so I was able to swim mid September which I really enjoyed as well. I’d stay here again. Price was very good too

I was disappointed in the false advertisement for the breakfast as it advertised bacon eggs cereal etc and when we went to get the breakfast it was just pancakes from a machine muffins in a package as I paid a lot for the room that included breakfast and this was the only option it was very disappointing and I had to go somewhere else to eat when I booked the hotel expecting to get a breakfast

Nice room, jacuzzi tub is huge and was relaxing! Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nice town, we felt very safe. Check out Mavericks for any meal it was amazing and close by.

The same as our last stay October 2024, friendly very helpful staff, very comfortable beds and whole unit very clean. Amenities close by. And very accessible for my elderly mother with walker, parking right in front of room. Enjoyable stay.

Nous avions deux chambres. Celle de mes parents était propre. Ils ont eu un problème électrique et la dame à l’accueil les a changé de chambre pour une nuit le temps de tout régler. Le service était excellent. Notre chambre étaient sale. Il y avait des traces partout dans les miroirs. Des toiles d’araignées dans un coin de la chambre. La balayeuse avait été passée mais il restait de la saleté un peu partout. Il y avait une odeur d’humidité dans la chambre. J’avais magasiné les hôtels à Gananoque et le prix était très cher pour cet hôtel. Il se trouvait dans moyenne des prix. Il était plutôt sûr de trouver un logis abordable dans cette région.

Hôtel vieillot, moyennement entretenu, aurait besoin de travaux et changer tout l'ameublement Petit-déjeuner debout dans la mini salle de la réception, première fois de ma vie !
