Alles war super. Der Empfang vom Wirt, die liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer in dem uralten, so schönen Haus. Das Frühstück war so lecker und wir haben noch Tipps für die Weiterreise bekommen. Der Ort ist auch traumhaft schön. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts extremely welcoming. The room was spacious and charming, with a double aspect. All in all, we were really impressed with everything on offer.

As soon as we arrived Jason and Yvonne were there to greet us as soon as we stepped through the front door. A fantastic start! Throughout the weekend Jason And Yvonne were the perfect hosts dealing with any eventuality that happened and always engaging in conversation with all the guest's. Their welcome folder inside the room was packed with all the information you required, not only about the local area and attractions, but also about the beautiful Grade 2 listed building we were staying in. The room itself (Room 2), was a large room with period antique brown furniture and a two seater settee. The elephant in the room was the fantastic 4 poster bed, which was immaculately hand carved by a local carpenter which dressed the room perfectly, and was very comfortable to sleep in. Our window in the room faced the small car park opposite, which wasn't a problem as we had a lovely sea view down the valley and out to the horizon. You could even hear the sound of the Lyn river when lying in your bed at night which was very relaxing. The breakfasts that the hosts served every morning were exceptional, from a full English containing black pudding and hog's pudding which made them even more special. Cereal, quasants and fresh fruit salad, we're also on the menu, and another highlight was the blueberry, kiwi and pomegranate fruit salad which was really refreshing. All allergens are covered at the hotel as my wife had gluten free sausages and gluten free bread at breakfast,which were both delicious. The hotel also has a well stocked bar and a hot tub at the front of the property. Unfortunately we didn't take advantage of these two options as we were to busy doing other things over the weekend. Especially partaking in the local walks and the evening entertainment, with live bands playing in the local pubs all bank holiday weekend. A fantastic weekend away, rounded off with a lovely hotel and warming and welcoming hosts Jason and Yvonne.

Unfortunately due to safety concerns the local Bank Holiday Raft Race was cancelled after a lot of amazing work had gone into the rafts by the local teams. But safety always comes first

I could not recommend Orchard House enough! A fantastic BnB in an excellent location within lovely Lynmouth. The hosts Yvonne and Jason are really friendly and more than happy to accommodate whatever you need. The rooms are very clean and cosy, the beds comfortable, with the sound of the River Lyn flowing outside our window with views over the town and valley. A delicious BnB style breakfast with a great variety of options to cover your bases, not to mention the charming hustle and bustle of the breakfast dining area, with attentive and friendly staff. Such a nice way to start the day! A truly memorable BnB experience. Not the first time I have stayed here, and certainly won't be the last. We will be back! 10/10

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit toller Lage auch für Wanderer des South West Coast Path. Wir hatten ein traumhaft schönes Zimmer und Tee und Kaffee standen schon bereit. Sogar ein kleinen Kuchen hat die nette Gastgeberin uns bereitgestellt. Im kleinen Garten vor dem Haus habe ich es mir auch noch gemütlich machen können. Das Frühstück war toll und frisch zubereitet.

The host was lovely and offered incredible hospitality throughout our stay. On top of that, the food was gorgeous and the location was spot on. With a bit of extra attention to cleaning, this place would easily be a 10/10.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness let the stay down, particularly in the bathroom. There was significant mold along the tile grout near the bath, discolored buildup on the shower seal, rust, and heavy grime under the anti-slip mat. In the bedroom, there was also thick dust around the wall sockets. The host is brilliant and the potential here is huge, but the property really needs a thorough deep-clean.

The hotel was small and cosy in the centre of the village. The village is very pretty, lots of places to eat. The cliff railway is a must see!

Parking is a nightmare! Having to play parking jenga to secure a space close to the hotel.

Yvonne and Jason were exceptional hosts. Very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.Room was clean and what we asked for. Breakfast choice was really good and well presented and the cooked breakfast was exceptional.

Beautiful location and friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay 🤩 The only thing that could have been handy for us was a hairdryer and a fan in the room for hot weather. ☀️☺️

The room was excellent and extremely clean. Parking is very straightforward and opposite the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding , whether you wanted a full English or an omelette the host was very accommodating. Lastly , the location of the hotel is perfect , literally a 2 minute walk from the centre of Lynmouth .

A wonderful property located in a gorgeous spot in a simply stunning town. Jason was so thoughtful and kind - he even upgraded our room when he heard what a trying day we had. The breakfast was delicious. Can’t say enough about how nice it was to stay here.

I’m not a fit person and the stairs were too much for me but an average person would not have a problem Also no fridge but wasn t really an issue

The location was very central and easy to find. It is very near the sea and central bus stop. It is well placed for south west coastal path. Staff were extremely helpful. The room was lovely. Parking was very easy to sort out.

Orchard House is a beautiful, period property. The owners have maintained it excellently, providing eg a fabulous, modern bathroom whilst keeping the house in tune with its Georgian heritage. The breakfast menu was extensive and the cooked breakfast was the best I have ever had.

Beautiful property with lots of character. The room was bright and clean with everything you need. Fabulous hosts who were really friendly and cooked an amazing breakfast!

The only flaw is the parking - on the listing it does say free parking which is a bit misleading as it’s only 2 hours free on street parking, other than that it’s the pay and display car park which is very busy. I appreciate it’s the layout of Lynmouth with very few properties having parking onsite. Other than that, a perfect stay

Jason was an excellent host. The garden was a great place to relax with drinks from the bar. The room was spacious and very comfortable and exceeded expectations.

Oud gebouw met oude meubels. Ons bed is een massief houten bed met een zware houten hemel-overkapping erboven. Een beetje pompeus, maar speciaal is het wel. Kleren worden gewassen op vraag (gratis service voor wandelaars). Douche was erg goed. Ruime kamer. Matras: heel goed. Ontbijt: heel verzorgd, vers fruit.

Prijs-kwaliteit: goede kwaliteit, maar aan de dure kant. Is waarschijnlijk duur omdat het een erg toeristische plaats is.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout my visit. Breakfast was very delicious. The location is also excellent, making it easy to explore the area

Our host Jason was very welcoming and had upgraded our room which was fabulous, we had a lovely four poster bed, a well appointed bathroom with a seaview. A special touch were the four macarons which went down a treat and although it was a nice day Jason had put the heating on to remove the chill from the room. The hotel is well located and parking close by with a bonus of a hot tub which unfortunately we didn't have the time to try however the breakfast we did and that was five star, I absolutely recommend upgrading if you love a cooked breakfast, it's better than the Savoy.

The double room was more like a single room very small.

The location in Lynmouth is great - very central. We loved Lynmouth and Lynton.

There was a lot of black mould around the bathroom window frame and over the shower tiles. We booked the hotel because it stated it was dog friendly. We brought a very well behaved dog and were asked to pay £20 extra- this was not indicated prior to arriving. It seems steep considering it was a basic place and not that clean!

This was more expensive than others we stayed at during the week which were much more modern and welcoming and we didn’t feel this one lived up to the reviews. We found it old fashioned, the room and bed were small.

Loved quirky ambience and individuality of rooms. Jason and Yvonne were very welcoming and very competent at the same time. Bathrooms were superb.

Further out of town centre than I had realised and hadn't considered parking fees when booking, which made it a bit more expensive than we had budgeted for, but service, friendliness couldn't faulted.
