Certainement le meilleur hôtel que nous avons réservé au Mexique, très bon emplacement, personnel très compétent et très accueillant piscine sur le toit très agréable, excellent petit déjeuner. Nous vous conseillons vivement cet hôtel.

Súper recomendable. Al rededor hay muchos lugares para comer pero uno de mis favoritos fue donde se grabó “Jinny’s Kitchen” está en el hotel diosa del agua. Así también disfruté el tour con los lugares emblemáticos por $400 MXN (24 USD Y el desayuno del hotel TUPARENDA es DELICIOSO! 🥰 Muy cerca está una lavandería. ¡POR FAVOR NO USAR BLOQUEADORES SOLARES CUANDO VAYAN A LAS LAGUNAS!

The location is perfect, 3 minute walk to the lagoon. The roof top terrace with the pool is lovely! The breakfast is so good, but best of all the staff are incredible!! So welcoming and accommodating, they helped us book a taxi on our last day and provided a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early.

Great location, short walk into town. Fantastic breakfast. The roof top space to relax with the pool is stunning, with views of the lagoon. Loved the bed - had a fab stay.

Muy bien ubicado, frente al balneario público más grande de bacalar y a 10 minutos caminando. El personal fue muy amable y los,desayunos muy ricos.

El colchón de la cama no era muy cómodo y la tv es de las que no tienen acceso a Internet. En un día normal no haría falta la tv, pero desafortunadamente llovió a diario durante mi visita e hizo falta algo en qué entretenerse dentro de la habitación.

Très bel établissement avec un patio très cosy. Chambre très spacieuse, calme. Salle de bains très agréable. Literie très confortable. Un petit déjeuner excellent servi dans le patio Personnel professionnel, attentionné Pas de parking mais facilité de stationnement à proximité.

L'accueil de Fransisco a été génial il nous a bien conseillé pour l'excursion sur la lagune c'était super👍❤️❤️❤️❤️quel expérience le déjeuner était tres copieux l'endroit était super beau quoi dire du roof top WOW!!! Je recommande sans hésiter.

This is a great hotel and it’s the owner/managers attention to detail that makes it hum. I was worried about my late arrival via Tren Maya but Francisco assured me they’d wait past the normal time if necessary. The staff were so kind and accommodating. It’s super clean, the roof terrace is fantastic, breakfast is great. I loved it and felt very much at home. It’s close to a lovely public swimming dock.

I had a great room, very comfy. The only thing I recommend is to get some bedside lights, the overhead lighting is far too bright and but conducive to relaxing.

Dit hotel is echt fantastisch! Super lieve mensen, schone kamers en verzorgd ontbijt. In de buurt zijn genoeg barretjes en restaurants te vinden.

Kleines regionales Frühstücksbuffet, kleine DachTerrasse. Zimmer waren klein aber hatte alles Lage zur Lagune war gut da ein öffentlicher Steg in der Nähe war sowie der Nationalparksteg

The welcoming by Javier at the reception was exceptional, and so were the chefs at the kitchen during breakfast and the cleaning staff.

Not that we required it, but perhaps providing access to the kitchen and pool to guests with disabilities could be something to think about.

Despite the tiny room, the hotel is lovely. The pool is located on the rooftop and you have a view on the lagoon. The breakfast buffet was good and had options for different tastes. Breakfast is also served on the roof, which is nice. The location is good, it's around 15 minutes walking distance away from the centre, but you have nice restaurants and access to the lagoon close by. Everything was clean.

Great location near to the lagoon and the centre and the bus station. Good size room with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff, nice seating areas, tasty breakfast, water dispenser.

No mirror in bedroom and no bedside lights

Niet te ver (15’ te voet) gelegen van de sfeervolle plaatsen in het centrum. Ontbijt op het dakterras, super gezellig! Ontbijt was goed met op de 2 dagen dat we er waren een andere warme extra keuze naast de eieren, toast, yoghurt en fruit. Zeer vriendelijke receptionistes die altijd willen helpen. Een aanrader voor een super lekker restaurant met zeer goeie prijzen en gezellige setting is ‘A Brassa‘, niet aan het water gelegen maar gezellig rustig terras met top eten. Geen doorsnee Mexicaans restaurant met tortilla’s maar Europese normen aan Mexicaanse prijzen.

Dies ist ein wunderbares Beispiel für mexikanische Gastfreundschaft. Der Besitzer begrüßte uns und gab uns eine Einführung in die Sehenswürdigkeiten, die wir während unseres Aufenthalts erleben sollten. Es ist kein luxuriöses Hotel, aber sowohl die Lage als auch die Kundenorientierung machen es zu einer erstklassigen Wahl für unseren nächsten Besuch in der Region.

Todo estuvo super bien, lo recomiendo mucho. Todo el personal muy amable, te dan recomendaciones de lugares para comer, bares, tours, etc. La ubicación también está super bien, muy cerca del acceso a la laguna municipal. Recomiendo mucho incluir el desayuno, ya que el personal guisa delicioso.

La colazione, nonostante fosse ottima, non riusciva a stare al passo con la quantità di persone che stavano facendo colazione, trovando quindi varie volte piatti vuoti.

It has all you need for a short stay; has green practices and the distance to the lagoon is very short. Located near the main road with restaurants and bars. Good breakfast and nice roof pool.

The bed linen and lack of maintenance in several parts of the room, specifically in the bathroom.

Muy bonito el lugar, buen servicio, altamente recomendable

El hotel está a la vuelva de uno de los accesos a la laguna (que de hecho fue mi favorito). La azotea está linda igual, la alberca nos gustó mucho. El desayuno sabe muy rico : ) aunque en ocasiones se acababa muy rápido y había que esperar a que surtan nuevamente.

Algunas cosas en la azotea están en mal estado, como los camastros. Los lavamanos en las habitaciones y también en el baño del loby salpica demasiadooooo. En mi habitación, el frigobar no tenía conexión donde lo habían colocado, tuvimos que moverlo hacia otra conexión.

We loved our stay at Hotel Tuparenda and might stay here again soon! The breakfast was fantastic! The cooks were gracious and so accommodating! The front desk gentleman was also awesome! He was very helpful and provided accurate information. Two of the front desk gentlemen even helped us get taxis. Also, appreciated that they shared about the available tours and provided drinking water. This is key when travelling through Mexico as tap water is not drinkable. The room was clean and the facilities were absolutely lovely! We appreciated the third floor being so beautiful! Love the way they decorated the place. Another plus is that it is just down the street from the public access to the lagoon. Right next to that is the very inexpensive (20 MXN Pesos) entrance. We loved this hotel! Thanks to all the staff for making this a wonderful stay!

This hotel was a breath of fresh air! It was mostly a great experience! The only concern, and it's a big concern, which we flagged for the front desk gentleman, is that we had a very negative experience with one of the taxi drivers that the front desk gentleman flagged for us. We were under the impression that he had settled on a price for the ride. We were under the impression that they had agreed on 200 MXN Pesos to drive us to Laguna Bonanza, which is right next door to Los Rapidos de Bacalar. When they came to a complete stop, the taxi driver's brother, also a taxi driver, aggressively said the price was 320 MXN Pesos. This was almost double the original amount. We were shocked to say the least and a bit shaken up. We felt we had no choice but to pay them this amount. We thought we were saving some money from Laguna Bonanza, but it was quite a bit more expensive than if we had gone straight to Los Rapidos. We shared this with the front desk person, and he was profusely apologetic! He said that the taxi driver had scammed us. The lesson learned is that even if the hotel helps arrange a taxi ride, the rider should be involved and affirm the price and location! Most taxi drivers, not all, are super sketchy! Don't trust them at all!

Muy agradable!

The hotel is a gem, across the street from the Eco Parque, one of the best places to enjoy the lake. Unfortunately, the surroundings are a bit poor still. Tip: this is not a hotel to stay in your room. Keep this for sleeping and use the chill rooms indoors/ outdoors as your ‘living room’

L’hôtel est idéalement situé, près de la lagune et des restaurants. Le petit déjeuner mexicain y est très bon. La chambre était spacieuse, avec mini frigo bien pratique. À disposition un distributeur d’eau fraîche bien appréciable ! Et la piscine en rooftop qui donne sur la lagune, au top !

Great Breakfast

Breakfast it was excellent

I loved the walk ability of this location. Bacalar is one of the loveliest and cohesive places I have ever visited. The amenities and rooms, were top notch, prices excellent, and service A+. Parking was easy and I always found a space right outside the hotel on the street. From the hotel it was easy to walk to the main blvd. which had great dining, a historical fort, and a great view of one of the the lagoons.

I only did not like that I had to leave!

Es un hotel muy sencillo y agradable, la habitación que me asignaron estaba cómoda y se descansa, el único inconveniente es que por la noche madrugada ya no hay agua en las habitación según que para ahorrar ese servicio pero si es incómodo ya que si uno tiene la necesidad de hacer del baño pues no se puede hacer uso de la taza de baño, desayuno sencillo pero rico

Todo estuvo muy acogedor, el desayuno incluído es muy rico y las cocineras son muy amables, las chicas del haceo son muy lindas, hacen un muy buen trabajo y dejan oliendo muy rico, "hay agua caliente en las regaderas", el personal en definitiva es muy amable y al llegar, el dueño recomienda actividades para hacer fuera del hotel a muy buen precio En general es un buen hotel, a muy buen precio y muy acogedor

Nice little hotel, very close to the laguna and walking distance to the center. The staff is very friendly and does everything they can to make your stay comfortable.

Some renovations were ongoing in the surroundings of the hotel, but it didn't bother us much.

Increíble la estancia con mi familia ! , limpio, comida súper rica, la alberca y la vista bonitas , el personal de cocina y recepcionistas súper bien ! Lo recomiendo mucho !

I had a great experience with this hotel, the staff is very nice don’t have an elevator but I’d only one floor up and they take your luggage. Breakfast was great. The only thing is the shower needs to be replaced but water is hot
