The hotel was in a great location and everything at the property made the stay extremely comfortable. The spa facilities and indoor pool were great. One us were sick and needed special meals and the kitchen staff and chef were really helpful and accommodated to our requirements.

While all the staff members were great, the front desk staff were largely unresponsive and uncooperative. They shared a 'preference form' prior to our check in which asked us for what fruits we'd like in our room - given that one of us was sick we asked them for certain fruit to be kept in our room. But they never cared to honour that request. They specifically wrote that we wanted a newspaper every morning but we were given no newspapers. We shared our World of Hyatt membership number, but our membership number was not reflected in our final invoice. We gave our pre-authorization for our credit card at the front desk, but we were asked to pay out of pocket for several services. Lokesh at the front desk dealing with us was not professional owing to all the above issues which made the visit slightly disappointing. But overall each of the other staff members were great to deal with.

It was a horrible experience. The moment I entered they told me to pay uo for the rooms and I gave them my Amex Card. Their machine was faulty and the payment was not going through. Instead of accepting the fault, they said that your card has been declined. In my opinion, raising a question on a client's credibility is the biggest disrespect a hotel like HYatt can show towards its clients. Thereafter they took me to the room and I was understanding the mechanism of the balcony and the balcony got shut due to some reason. Insttead of getting it repaired, the staff was quick to say that "you have spoilt it." That was never the case as another staff came and he opened it with ease. The story does not end here. After I had my dinner and I signed the cheque on the room, I received a call at 11:30 in the night when I was sleeping that you need to pay right now for the dinner. I was shocked. The dinner bill was for 5700/- and they could hold it until the next morning. They had to disturb the guest in the middle of the night. My card was well accepted the next day as the machine was repaired by then but my mood was completely spoilt as they had raised a question on my credibilty which is huge for me. They did not have the decency to correct their mistakes and they were not at all apologetic.

Our stay at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala was absolutely wonderful. Nestled amidst beautiful pine forests and breathtaking mountain views, the property offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. The rooms were spacious, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully designed, making our stay extremely relaxing. The hospitality was exceptional, with every staff member going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, and the overall ambiance of the resort was warm and serene. Traveling with a toddler can sometimes be challenging, but the team ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. From the stunning location to the outstanding service, every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. We left with beautiful memories and look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Dharamshala and looking for a luxurious and peaceful getaway. ❤️🏔️✨

It’s all becomes useless because the staff work always HORRIBLE at that place. It’s not service, but Antiservice …. With many many situations and members of the stuff. The bottles with water are dirty so I had a stomach disorder for a month

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala in one of their villas. . What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. A special mention goes to Prem, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived until our departure, he went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our visit was comfortable and memorable. His warm attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel genuinely cared for. The villa was spacious, well-maintained, and offered all the comforts we could ask for. Combined with the excellent service and serene atmosphere, it made for a truly relaxing getaway.

It was an absolute blissful experience, we had at Hyatt Dharamshala. From the moment we arrived and left this beautiful property, we were in awe of the beauty and hospitality the team offered. Our room was exceptionally beautiful and the snow peaked mountains view was spectacular and brought so much peace. Dining experience is just another level. We were looked after by Ujjwal and Akshay, such humble and enterprising lads. Their little gestures made our stay more warm and sociable. Special shout out to Ujjwal for his warmth and thoughtfulness. All the team members from front desk to housekeeping were just impeccable to interact with. The hotel also provides free rides to the nearby cafés and the City Center, from where one can book rides for sightseeing in and around Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. Kids can enjoy a variety of outdoor and indoor activities. Indoor swimming pool is open all round the year, to enjoy relaxing afternoon or evening swims.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Nice and quiet forest setting . We had a quick and easy check in ( thanks Dinesh). All staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable ( especially Deepak and Balvinder at the restaurant and others whose names I can’t remember). The food was exceptional ( they catered so well for us - as we are lacto vegetarian- and rarely is this catered for as well as this hotel). Rooms are modern and comfortable with all amenities you can think of. Pool was heated - so good for the month of December. Gym was not bad. We had a couples massage at the spa which was one of the best I’ve had ( same for the wife). My son had flu and they even gave a personal get well card for him and assisted with extra bedding ( personal choice of pillows). There were no negatives during our stay. Hemant Kana ( South Africa)

Very good experience the breakfast was very good and the overall service was excellent we could not enjoy the property that much as we went for the cricket match so the stadium is bit far from the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a wooded area with lovely grounds and exceptional architectural design and decoration. Stunning views and quiet location with easy access to local attractions. All staff were very good, (special mention to Anshika in the restaurant) and the food was excellent too. Our room was spacious, excellent beds, nicely furnished. Downsides? Acoustics in the rooms are bad, with sound amplified from any doors closing as well as between the rooms. It is impossible to close the doors quietly, plus the (locked) interconnecting doors between the doors rattle each time the door to either room is closed. The hotel is marketed at both “tranquility and serenity” and families with small children and that’s not always possible.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at the Hyatt Regency in Dharamshala. The Villa we rented was spacious, clean and well-stocked. The food at the on-property restaurant was consistently very good -- there was a lot of variety and the staff there were very accommodating if we wanted to have something created that was off-menu. All of that written, the thing that made our stay truly amazing was our valet, Saurabh. Saurabh consistently went out of his way to make sure that all of our needs were met -- and he often anticipated them in advance of us asking. He was kind, respectful, helpful, and communicative with each of our family members. He also made sure that each of us was well-tended to. A big thank you to Saurabh and to the other staff members at the Hyatt Regency in Dharamshala for helping to make our time there so memorable!

Hyatt regency Dharamshala is located at a pristine location, nestled on top of mountain surrounded by tall deodar trees. The staff is courteous and provide great service. The hotel is beautiful with modern architecture and colour palette soothes your eyes. We stayed in a suite with spacious bedroom, beautiful living area and a big lavish bathroom. We were delighted by prompt service, great food and enjoyed all the activities curated for our family. The restaurant served Authentic Tibetan, Himachali, north Indian and international cuisines. All members in our group whether Children, adults or seniors everyone enjoyed a lot.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hyatt Dharamshala! The property is stunning — surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful trails, and that unmistakable mountain calm. It’s the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect with nature. Our 6-year-old had the best time at the kids’ camp, which kept him happily occupied throughout our trip. It truly made the stay relaxing for us as parents. My husband especially enjoyed the guided nature walks, which were both refreshing and informative — a lovely way to experience the area’s natural beauty. I also tried the spa, and while it doesn’t have a traditional reception or seating area, the masseuse was absolutely fantastic — one of the best massages I’ve had. A special shoutout to Sunil at Thym, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of during every meal. His warmth and attentiveness really stood out and added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, Hyatt Dharamshala is a gem — serene, family-friendly, and full of thoughtful experiences. We can’t wait to return! 🌿✨

Food was good. Chef anil took good care of our Dietary requirements. But the welcome and hospitality could improve to meet Hyatts reputation.

The staff were lovely, the hotel itself was quite old and rundown, clean, but I do feel like the Hyatt could renovate this hotel. And should.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, I just do feel like the rooms need to be renovated & the hotel needs to be renovated.

I come here for a swim regularly and for meals as well. Top notchservice by Deepak at the restaurant, very hospitable and attentive to the kind of food I like. Will be back again and again

Stay at Hyatt if you want to enjoy warm hospitality and good food with awesome weather and surroundings. Multiple activities like Yoga, Nature Walk, Kids Camp, Indoor Pool, Home Cinema available to keep the entire family engaged. Most of the staff members were much more hospitable than expected. *Don’t opt for this property if you like to explore the local place since the property is far from Dharamshala and McleodGanj. We prefer to spend most of our time in the property and hence it was ideal for us.

Certainly the best hotel in Dharamsala - beautiful grounds, spacious room, excellent WiFi, good swimming pool, very good massages at the spa. The menu at Thym restaurant is not extensive, but what’s on offer is delish. Service staff are very nice and generally speaking, quite efficient. A real sanctuary far from the noises of downtown. However, because of its remote location and management policy, guests are hostages! The hotel would not call taxis to come pick you up, and charge double the commercial fare for hotel cars. To add insult to injury, once the hotel driver dropped us off a good 100m from the location, at the bottom of a steep hill; we saw many same-size taxis drive up to drop their customers at the same restaurant! That said, this is our second stay in 2 years, and we will come back!

Our stay here was for 3 nights. Check in was smooth and warm, in fact their front desk staff is always available and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and of adequate size but there’s constant noise you can hear if you’re staying at their rooms near the restaurant from their AC main unit. So we changed our room to the front of the hotel to escape the noise and smell. Another low point is that their restaurant has a very limited menu but our server made sure to get us food made out of menu Food was overall good The bad experience I had was with their reservations team and the guards at their hotel gate, I wanted some changes made to my reservation but never received the call back despite calling twice. Also since the hotel is at an incline and I have problem walking, sometimes it was a verbal jousting when you are taking an outside cab and want to be dropped at the porch. A real mood spoiler. Will I stay here again- might not

Amazing! Just down to calm Dharamkot, up to Mcleodganj, deep into the woods, in an astonishing location, we had the time of our life. An outstanding stuff, lovely look with the "endless knot" symbol all over and amazing originally painted thangkas. We couldn't ask for more.

Wishing to enjoy my holidays to the fullest with my family and kids, this 5 star property completely disappointed me and my family. Extremely uncooperative behaviour and abysmal service and lack of facilities made our experience extremely painful. Especially Mr. Vikraant's behaviour was intolerable and extremely uncooperative. This property does not live up to its name in any way. Simply reprehensible.

I recently stayed at this beautiful resort and I absolutely loved the property. Though reaching the resort was a bit of a challenge due to the winding hill roads, the moment I arrived, all the effort felt completely worth it. The peaceful surroundings, fresh mountain air made me forget all the chaos of daily life. It truly offers an experience that soothes your soul. The spa and swimming pool were excellent, food was great, staff is incredibly warm and friendly. Every person I interacted with went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Saurabh at the restaurant was attentive and always made sure everything was perfect. The person at the bar was super cool. A very special thanks to Sunny from Reservations - he was extremely polite and helpful, patiently handling all my requests with a smile. He truly spoiled us with his hospitality, and I haven’t experienced such warmth and professionalism anywhere else. Tarsem ji also helped plan our itinerary and gave us some amazing recommendations that made our trip even more memorable. I’m already looking forward to coming back with my family during the winter season.
