The Blue Jay Nest

The location was perfect for our event in Paradise. It was spacious and clean. The host was fabulous and generous with the amenities. There was also a lovely outdoor seating area. Very quiet neighborhood.

I liked everything about this place

Breakfast wasn’t officially part of the booking but Hannah provided fresh baking on arrival, with a large basket full of fruit and packaged snacks for hiking, as well as a fridge-ful of milk, OJ, yogurts, PB&J, cheese. Hannah was super accommodating in hard-boiling our dozen eggs, obtaining decaf coffee and providing a drying rack after a day of heavy rain. Fabulously comfortable bed, with a variety of pillow thicknesses - found the perfectly thin one and slept like a log every night. Beautiful bathroom, all stocked, super clean. Very cozy living room. Beautiful yard and outdoor deck.

We had a fantastic stay at The Bluejay Nest in Newfoundland! The property was absolutely amazing—beautifully maintained, peaceful, and spacious, with plenty of room for our dogs to run around and enjoy themselves. Every detail of the house and grounds was thoughtfully arranged, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Hannah, our hostess, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. She greeted us warmly, shared helpful local tips and recommendations, and was always available if we needed anything. Her genuine care and attention to detail truly made our experience special. Whether you’re traveling with pets or just looking for a quiet and amazing space, I can’t recommend The Bluejay Nest enough. It’s the perfect spot for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in Newfoundland!

Hanna was a great, solicitous hostess. The suite was very, very attractive and well-stocked with what we needed, plus extras (like fresh baked tea cakes).

Very comfortable accommodation, very helpful host. Smart TV in each room was a nice touch, as were the various snacks/breakfast options on offer. Well located, only a short drive to St. John's. Would definitely recommend!

It would have been lovely to have a hob where we could make our own breakfast.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer/Wohnung, alles vorhanden inkl. Pflegeprodukte, mehr als ausreichend Handtücher, Getränke und Snacks. Sehr nette Gastgeberin.

As a returning guest this place is always what you expect cleanliness and really comfortable beds it's like.home away from home and the guest hannah is the most down to earth person she always have fridge full and snacks and especially for your fur baby also she goes above and beyond to make.your stay as comfortable as possible thanks again hannah until next.time.

The accommodations where everything that was expected clean and spacious and really comfortable the host is like.yourself a nice person it is well worth what.you pay big back fenced In yard for your pet to run around and also fireplace and lounge area that is covered would recommend it to anyone.

Nothing it was perfect

We had the most amazing stay with Hannah. She was an exceptional host and made us feel so welcomed. The place was quiet, comfortable, and in a great location. She provided lots of breakfast/snacks, and even baked us fresh breakfast scones that were delicious. They yard was a great size for letting our dog run around in, and there is a beautiful patio setup to relax outside. We would love to return!

It was absolutely beautiful. Everything was perfectly clean and organized. Hannah the owner greeted us and showed us around and made sure we had everything we needed. She was also on hand to say goodbye. A wonderful place to stay.

Anna est une excellente hôtesse pour le lieu. Elle vos mets à l’aide, explique bien les modalités et commodités et reste à l’affût et disponible pour toutes demandes pour combler des besoins si requis. La location comprend deux chambres (si vous venez en familles ou avec un couple d’amis) , une salle de bain et d’un salon comprenant sofas lr’evidion et petit foyer ainsi q’une cuisinette complète (micro-ondes, réfrigérateur, toaster, machine à café, lavabo) ainsi qu’un rifrigerateur bien garni. Définitivement l’endroit idéal qu’il me fallait pour bien terminer mes vacances.

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable, very well kitted out and the host Hannah is a lovely person and very helpful. Great place as a solo traveller but would also suit a family, etc.

Absolutely wonderful host, wonderful accomodations. Immaculately cleaned and cared for. Could not ask for better.

And we came back because it is a very special place for us. Hannah is a perfect host and no wish remained unfulfilled. Clean, cosy and everything is available. We will come back that's for sure. Dear Hannah thank you very much for your hospitality !

It was an excellent stay. Just a short drive to downtown St John's. The host greeted me upon arrival and made homemade biscuits and other goodies for my enjoyment. The home was quiet and well appointed.

It met our expectations. They own added her own touch by making wonderful biscuits. There was also fruit and an assortment of breakfast bars. There was plenty of coffee and tea.

Hannah is the most welcoming hostess you could imagine. Her home is filled with special touches and everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A beautiful property with lots of space and an attentive host. The neighbourhood was quiet and there were a few nice walks close by. The little extras in the kitchen area were great.

We loved staying here. The host was very helpful, friendly. The room was very nice, we had the entire common space area to ourselves. There were options for snacks, breakfast. No cooked breakfast but fruit, bagels etc. Well done!

The owners were very kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything was there, even a complimentry breakfast. Blue Jays nest is well located to Topsail Beach, St. Johns and TCH. We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Just perfect after a 6 day hike on ECT. A must come back, 5-star overnight !

💫💫💫💫💫Hanna and Tony are welcoming and friendly hosts! The accommodations were superbly clean and comfortable…it felt like home. Kitchenette and bathroom were well appointed. AC, large TV, electric fireplace, off road parking, and access to the backyard were all bonuses! Our hosts were very kind to our dog, as well. We would give this accommodation 5 stars all the way!

It is a 20 min drive into downtown St. John’s. Not a problem if you have a car😁

We were there during a heat wave and the suite was quite warm. But I understand that the host will be installing air conditioning shortly, so this will likely not be a long term issue.

The hosts were great, they welcomed us into their home and made us feel welcome, without being intrusive. This B&B is one of the best we have stayed in, Hannah, has tastefully decorated this home and it is spotlessly clean. We found the location very quiet and relaxing, there is backyard area, to sit and relax, it’s just an all around great experience.

I had an excellent stay! Beds, kitchen, bathroom and living room are very comfortable and very clean. The owners are nice and caring people, always ready to help. I arrived late at night after a long flight and found plenty of food in the kitchen to prepare a delicious breakfast. The backyard and patio are great for good company to dine and play with the kids. The apartment is located in a nice area close to walking and cycling paths. Next time I plan to stay at Blue Jay Nest again with my family and kids. I highly recommend to everyone.
