Estava tudo muito limpo..O pequeno almoço muito completo..

O colchão da cama já está a pedir troca...muita escada para minha idade.

Staff super atencioso, cama confortável. Acomodação no geral muito limpa e confortável.

Tiveram quedas de energia seguidas enquanto estávamos hospedados. O staff resolveu rapidamente.

O pequeno almoço é muito bom porque é servido em outro hotel, a localização é excelente, próximo a estrada da torre. Uma das funcionárias foi muito prestativa e educada no checkout .

Nossa experiência foi extremamente negativa, principalmente pela total falta de organização no check-in. O horário informado era às 15h, mas só conseguimos entrar às 19h, após nos fazerem esperar, mesmo depois de uma viagem cansativa de mais de 3 horas de Barcelos até a Covilhã. O pior aconteceu depois: nos entregaram a chave errada no check-in, erro exclusivamente da acomodação. Já estávamos instalados, com as malas desfeitas, quando fomos obrigados a trocar de quarto na frente de outros hóspedes, passando por uma situação extremamente constrangedora — ainda mais por estarmos com um pet. A forma como isso foi tratado foi totalmente inadequada, com uma funcionária rude e sem qualquer empatia. Além disso, houve falta de energia constante durante a estadia, não nos informaram a senha do Wi-Fi, um dos quartos não tinha aquecimento, não houve reposição de papel higiênico e não era permitido utilizar a cozinha. Eram 3 quartos para 6 pessoas (1 casal por quarto), o que torna ainda mais grave a desorganização apresentada. Faltou respeito, profissionalismo e cuidado básico com os hóspedes. Não recomendo.

Por ser uma casa histórica há muito barulho do quarto de cima. Qualquer movimento ou conversa ouve-se no quarto.

Ofereceram-nos o pequeno-almoço e a cama era super confortável - daquelas que não acorda a mulher mesmo quando damos dois mortais do outro lado às três da manhã porque ainda não conseguimos dormir. A vista era boa, uma vez que ficámos no último andar. Tínhamos o centro histórico num primeiro plano, planícies e montes mais lá ao fundo. De resto, cumpriu as expectativas. Limpo, acolhedor, bem decorado e localizado numa zona tranquila. Foi uma boa escolha!

Ótima localização, pessoas simpáticas no atendimento e um excelente pequeno almoço. Com certeza voltaremos!

You could tell by some very nice small details that the owner/ staff care about giving a good service. Staff were excellent throughout the stay.

Gostei imenso da zona, e sobretudo do staff. Amaveis, solícitos, e muito profissionais. Achei que faltavam algumas coisas na casa ( nao havia cafe por exemplo ) e o quarto era um pouco pequeno mas, para 1 noite serviu plenamente. Se ficasse mais dias, penso que um quarto maior seria melhor. No entanto, como faz parte do Hotel Pena D'Agua, tomamos o pequeno almoço no hotel. Simplesmente excepcional. Recomendo vivamente este hotel na Covilha. Fantastico a todos os niveis.

Breafkast was nice with a variety of choices. Location was great in the center of the old city, with nearby parking. Nice size rooms. Staff was really friendly. Moderately priced, though the cost of the dog (EUR 20 per night) was a bit steep in my opinion. All in all, I would stay again.

When we stayed, breakfast was at their sister hotel and there was no reception at the hotel itself. All the staff are based in the nearby hotel, which is nearby and you can always call them for assistance. It was a small inconvenience but not too bad. The toilet didn't have a bidet. Could also modernise the keys, they still used old fashioned ones, which are a pain if they are lost. Also no lift if you need to go upstairs, and the lighting in the room was too soft.

When we arrived, no one was at the property and we had to wait for 10 mins for the host to arrive. The phone number indicated on Booking.com was not working, no one picked up (the host gave us a different one). Our room was at the very top, I hit my head quite a number of times when walking from the bed to the door.

The house is lovely, with amazing shared spaces on the first floor. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were helpful and nice. The room on the top has enough clearance space for a tall person but you need to be careful.

Nothing but be aware that there is no elevator.

La Casa con Historia es impresionante, a pesar de su antigüedad, está muy reformada y muy bien cuidada y es muy bonita y agradable. En las inmediaciones hay aparcamiento para el coche y nos permitieron ir acompañados de nuestro perrito. La atención del personal es inmejorable.

The family room has two rooms connected which is comfortable for a family of 4, they are pet friendly and the bathroom was really clean, we went during a snow storm and the central heating was really appreciated. The overall house was nice and has such a unique charm to it.

There was a lot of stairs and even after telling them we were with an 82 year old they still gave us the top floor room and dismissed the question. She didn't mind afterall and the stay was nice but still some help from the staff would have been nice.

We had a great stay at this house. Built at the turn of last century, and greatly renovated recently, the new owners introduced all manner of modern convenience while maintaining the original spirit of the house. Our room was spacious, very well appointed, very quiet and private. There are some common spaces downstairs that we also enjoyed as well as a small terrace with a good view of the valley below. The owner gave us a tour of the house and presented its history, and it is evident that she takes great pride in hosting. The staff was also very attentive and responsive. A must if you consider staying at Covilhã.

The place designed not only on high professional level, but with great love to this house and its family history. All the amenities are just excellent, breakfast unbelievably good. Stayed one night only - big mistake :(

The house mixes old and new, is very original and at the same time is very cosy. We appreciated a lot the family rooms, nice beds and pillows! The breakfast was wonderful. Only stayed 1 night, but it was very comfortable.

This Guesthouse is a beautiful old style house with lots of antique accents and props. We had a big and lovely quiet room with own toilet and shower. The guesthouse is closely situated to the centre of the town. An ideal place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. And the breakfast ...... super!! If you enjoy a taste of the past ..... we fully recommend this place!!!

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely guesthouse during our 3 week tour of Portugal and Northern Spain. We were given a great welcome by Paula and Filipe. Filipe spoke very good English and was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, bars and places to visit. We really enjoyed seeing the family photos on the wall and hearing about the various artifacts in the house that had belonged to his grandfather. Paula was so lovely and communicated with us very well with the aid of google translate. The breakfast was I think the best we have ever had - even though there were only the 2 of us at the table each morning there was a marvelous selection of bread, meats, cheeses, cake, fresh fruit and eggs freshly cooked to order. Our room was lovely and we had use of the garage for our motorcycle which is very much appreciated. We will return to Casa com Historia the next time we visit the Serra da Estrella.

This family house has been restored with love into a wonderful b&b. Its result is a perfect combination of traditional atmosphere and modern comfort. The breakfast is marvellous and the staff is very helpful. It is located very conveniently for visiting Covilha and the Serra de Estrela. We are certainly thinking about returning as soon as possible.

The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is perfect, very nice tradicional building... all is set to give the best for the costumers. The dogs are welcome and very well treated. Location is very close to city center. I've asked the staff for a special surprise to my wife and kids and they exced all parameters, simply amazing.

We rented the whole house as 7 couples travelling by motorbike. It was absolutely perfect. Comfortable, excellent staff always willing to help and give advice. What a great breakfast, one of the best I've seen ever.

The b&b is very central located in Covilhã. Everything is at walking distance. The house itself is recently been renewed. So the furniture, bathrooms etc is brand new. But the old elements of the house are still visible. This together gives the house a really nice atmosphere. The breakfast is various and very good. We could choose from of a lot of food. The host picked us up from the train station because we arrived really late at 23h. The house is too far to walk. Otherwise you should take a taxi from the train station. I can really recommend this place!

Well this place is stunning, I have no words to describe it. Amazing people (guests and hosts), wonderful decoration, I felt like I was traveling in time with all those vintage objects. definitely a place to come back.
