we did not have the BF included and if we wanted to have it, it would have been 27 USD pp which was way too much for what it's worth. Speaking of, eveyrhting at the hotel was way too expensive, speaking of cocktails, food, the gift shop. The room could have been bigger.

We just returned from Curacao and we loved this resort. The staff here make all the difference. They truly care for you while you are staying here. My husband who tripped and fell and they kept checking in with us to make sure he was ok. Anthony in security and Joanne were so kind. the staff at the Blues restaurant where he fell could not have been more kind The beach was fabulous. The buffet breakfast was delicious especially the fabulous Miss Donna who made delicious omelets every day. The Saturday BBQ was delicious and the gentleman grilled the tenderloin to perfection. The location was convenient a short drive to the city in one direction or a short drive to the aquarium and Mambo beach. Finally when our flight was canceled and we had checked out and had no where to stay, I called and begged them to find us a room for one night. They found a beautiful suite for us to stay in for an additional night and allowed us to have a late check out called us a cab to the airport. They just did everything possible to make us feel comfortable during our airport snafu. We are so very grateful and will definitely recommend this resort to our friends and family. Thanks so much💕😀

We had a great experience here. It is big enough to have resort amenities like a beach bar, 2 restaurants, snorkeling and paddleboard rentals, but not like one of those massive Caribbean resorts. It is also steps away from the water and about a 10-ish minute walk to Willemstad. Service was awesome.

Overall a great return trip to Avila. The food was great and the staff was even better. Especially Clyde, who was extremely nice and attentive to your needs.

Podczas pobytu na Curacoa zatrzymałam się w 3 hotelach o podobnym standardzie ale to Avila był najlepszy! Piękne dwie plaże, basen, hotel z duszą, wspaniała i sympatyczna obsługa- co jest rzadkością na wyspie. Dostaliśmy pokój i drinka powitalnego już rano. Dodatkowo oprowadzono nas po obiekcie, wszystko wytłumaczone. Duże pokoje, czyste, schłodzone. Pyszne posiłki w restauracji.

heb niet gekregen wat ik had geboekt. Ik had een kamer met zeezicht gereserveerd. In de praktijk had het balkon wel uitzicht op zee, maar dat werd grotendeels geblokkeerd door een grote boom. Hierdoor voldeed de kamer niet aan mijn verwachtingen van een kamer met zeezicht.

We recently spent a wonderful week at the Avila Hotel and can't say enough good things about our experience. The staff was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. We stayed in the three bedroom apartment. It was spacious, clean and quiet. Housekeeping came each day in a timely manner. A special thank you to Clyde at the Schooner Bar, who went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional experience. His friendliness and outstanding service truly stood out. The hotel's location is another major highlight. It's within easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants and just a short stroll to the Floating Bridge, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. We highly recommend the Avila Hotel and would gladly stay there again if our travels brought us to Curacao again.

Our stay at Avila Beach Hotel was absolutely top-notch! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality and outstanding service. The location is perfect, with a beautiful private beach, crystal-clear water, and breathtaking ocean views. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the entire resort is beautifully maintained. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere—it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The facilities and the staff we’re great! There’re two good restaurants inside and two amazing artificial beaches (no waves, clear water and lots of fish for scuba diving).

Location is not perfect, it’s an easy walk to bars and restaurants (10-15min) but there’s lot of construction sites around that make the walk feel a bit unsafe, specially at night. Also the no breakfast included is inconvenient.

* The cocktails served at the bars are pre-mixed and not freshly prepared, which was a bit disappointing. * A car is highly recommended if you plan to explore other beaches and attractions around Curaçao.

Excellent hotel with great service and very helpful staff! Stayed in an Oceanfront Blues room that was clean, peaceful, very nice decor, and great ocean view. The private beach was wonderful. The vibe is relaxed and people are friendly. It is a very diverse population with Papiamentu, English, Spanish, and Dutch all spoken. We met tourists from all over the world too. Curacao was in the FIFA 2026 World Cup for the first time in their history during our stay, so when the games were on, the island basically shutdown and we watched the games with everyone else. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, and there are very good restaurants on-site and nearby (Rozendaels was our favorite and easy walking distance). Guidebooks are accurate, but not everything made sense till we actually got to Curacao and experienced it. There is ample car parking at the hotel and we rented a car (plan on getting lost from the airport to the hotel). We were able to travel up the coast to the more remote beaches, which are wonderful. Curacao is wonderful, and the hotel reflects it.

Amazing place and would highly recommend! Rooms have everything you need, staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is lovely! The private beaches are so nice. Lots of parking on site and very close to the centre. If I ever return, I wouldn’t think twice about booking this hotel again.

We just stayed here for our 40th anniversary and from the greeting at the door to the decor left for us in the room we were so amazed and touched. Avila is the place to stay you are lacking nothing. Staff is super friendly and attentive. I also had a spa day and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. I highly recommend this place for you stay!

Fantastic hotel - newly renovated, modern and clean. Very comfortable clean rooms. Walking distance to willemstad and a lot of restaurants for dinner. Beach is great clear water and nice sand. No waves or seaweed. They have SUP boards, snorkel gear and beach toys for kids available. Family has a severe peanut allergy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure food safety and our comfort with all our meals at the hotel. People, cleanliness, location, amenities - 11/10. Everyone was very kind and friendly throughout our stay and an extra special thank you to Stephanie, Tiblisay (apologies for the spelling), and the very kind lady at the towel hut who found our towels at the beach (didn't get her name).

The service at Avila Beach Hotel is amazing, we have been cared for in every way possible! Even when we had an unfortunate theft happen with our rental car, the manager Farley made sure we were okay and helped us sort everything out. The restaurants always have the nicest servers, especially Rusline and Nephtaly 🩷 The hotel area is very calm and enjoyable, Wi-Fi works well everywhere and the reception is open 24/7. Everyone is willing to help out and organise anything you need. We also got help with the AC multiple times. The employees seem to enjoy working together and their joy comes across for us guests as well. We have loved our stay and enjoyed our honeymoon very much!

A equipe de atendimento e a estrutura são os pontos fortes do hotel. Funcionários sempre animados, educados e sorridentes. As duas praias, dentro do hotel, providas de bar e restaurantes já valem a estadia. Além de ótimo quarto, academia, jacuzzi, etc, é bom também lembrar que o café da manhã é ótimo, variado e completo.

Apesar de não estar sob responsabilidade do hotel, a rua em que este se localiza, caminho para o centro, precisa melhorar muito para estar no nível dos hotéis ali localizados. Calçadas muito estreitas, cheias de detritos de reformas, lixo e mato edurante todo o percurso. Apesar desta condição, local é seguro.

We just returned from a truly restorative stay at Avila Hotel, and we're already trying to book for next year — that says it all. From the moment we arrived, the calm atmosphere set the tone for exactly the kind of beach vacation we needed. The property is beautifully maintained — clean, thoughtfully decorated, and the beach itself was immaculate. One of our biggest surprises: an abundance of beach loungers with zero competition. No 5am chair-saving required. That alone was a game-changer for our family. Our 2-bedroom beachfront apartment was spacious enough for the kids to spread out, and having daily housekeeping plus a washer and dryer (a true bonus for families!) made the stay effortless. The walkability to restaurants and downtown was a huge plus. A very special mention goes to the property manager, Seen. He is exceptional — responsive, genuinely invested in his guests' experience, and proactive in ways that went far beyond expectation. We arrived to a beautiful welcome with prosecco, wine, and thoughtful beach essentials in our room. When we raised a concern mid-stay, he addressed it immediately and made sure the rest of our trip was seamless. That level of care is rare and truly memorable. Front desk team member Amainaisse (apologies if I've misspelled!) was wonderfully helpful with local restaurant recommendations — exactly the kind of insider guidance that elevates a trip. If we're being thorough: lunch and dinner service moved at a more leisurely pace than breakfast, but honestly that's island time — and consistent with most restaurants we visited. To their credit, Seen and the restaurant manager responded to the feedback immediately and made genuine efforts to improve our experience on the spot. The dryer in our apt also didn't fully dry out clothes as well and we had to lay our clothes out to dry every night. Not a big deal but worth management looking into. Avila delivered what so many properties promise and few actually deliver: calm, beauty, space, and warmth. We cannot wait to return.

The property andbeach are super clean. They fog the property to reduce insects and bees. None of us got insect bites because of it. Staff is very responsive to any needs you have and are genuinely friendly. The restaurants are right on the ocean. It’s not crowded at all. They have a lagoon area that blocks the rough sea waves, which is very nice for floating and snorkeling. The property is the perfect size to navigate. It’s not too big like Atlantis in the Bahamas.

We spent a lot of time researching resorts on the Island and trying to decide which one would best suit our needs. We opted for Avila and also spent time at Sandals and Baoase (reviewed separately). Here are the highs and lows of our Avila experience. We booked the Oceanfront Belle Alliance room and it had an amazing view. The patio was lovely for morning coffee and also for relaxing under the stars. The rooms, however, are very basic. No frills, no luxuries. They did have plush bathrobes and the bed was comfortable. The protected bays are nice and do offer a buffer from the rough seas and constant wind. We had hoped to enjoy paddleboarding, but the 2 boards they have are very beat up and don't even have fins. We never observed anyone having issues getting chairs and its nice they don't charge for palapas. The pool is small and not really much of a resort style pool, so we didn't spend time there. We had breakfast and dinner at the Pen and both were very good. They have live music a few nights a week, which is also nice. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the proximity to town and that was very convenient. There are so many dining options within walking distance and aside from the uneven streets, it felt safe to walk at night. We also appreciated the free airport shuttle, which saved on transportation costs. One thing to note about this part of the Island: there are no true sunsets. It doesn't face the right direction. That was something we really missed. We also wish we had booked a rental car with the Budget dealer on site rather than using a local company that was very shady and dishonest. Would we stay here again? I don't know. The location is great, but we would have liked a bit more luxury and resort amenities. Staff are pleasant, but don't expect 5 star service. If you are looking for value and a central location, this is a good option.

We chose Avila Beach Hotel in Curacao for our first experience of the Caribbean and we have to say that it has exceeded our expectations, the accommodation, the bars, meals in the restaurants and staff have all been outstanding, particularly Clyde who works so hard across the whole resort along with Juninho in the Blues Caribbean Restaurant and a big shout out to all of the remaining staff for taking care of all of the customers needs. We highly recommend staying at Avila Beach Resort and we will certainly be looking to return in 2027 for a minimum two week stay!

En general todo me pareció muy bueno ,la persona de la recepción el dia que llegamos no fue muy amable , pero el resto del personal si ,sobre todo las personas del bar y la chica que estaba en el gimnasio

The hotel resort location was very nice. The layout of the beach with the chairs made it very comfortable. It was easy to get to the beach from our room. It is relaxing to get drinks right away and sip it while lying down on a nice beach chair. Just right amount of people. Not too busy that you have to "reserve" a beach chair.

- they did not clean our room on our 3rd day (Sunday). We had to request it. And when we did, they just placed towels on the bed. The dirty cups / glasses were not put away. - and I think the hotel staff (front desk)- can be a little friendlier. It appears that they do not want to help guests when they are busy with customers trying to check-in / check-out.

migliorerei la cura degli spazi comuni (aree verdi non super curate) e il personale alla reception non è sempre gentilissimo, per il resto tutto perfetto

Locatoin of the room sucked! it was on ground floor with no privecy, we could not keep the curtain open all four days we stayed there. Repeated request to change to diffrent room did not go anywhere and then was asked to pay $140/Night if I wanted diffrent room. Paid close to $1500 for 4 nights is high enough that they can do something about it. Every time I asked "sold out" was the answer, yes it may be true for one night but I refuse to believe that it was for all nights.

Lovely accommodations, nice beach but small however snorkeling was good. Did not use breakfast facilities but lunch was very nice. Ate dinner off premises as there were lots of very good restaurants.

It was pretty much what we expected. “ Mambo beach” did not meet expectations but that’s about it.

Spending the day at Avila Beach Hotel was easily one of the highlights of my trip. The luxurious all you can eat breakfast buffet was phenomenal, hands down my favorite breakfast of the entire trip. I loved how relaxing the day felt, splitting my time between the beach and the stunning infinity pool. Lunch was just as lovely, and the service throughout the day was genuinely warm and attentive. The whole experience felt peaceful and rejuvenating. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay for a few days or even just enjoy a day pass. Special shoutout to Gabriella H. for ensuring my bestfriend and I had the best time! I can't wait to be back :)

Very friendly staff (Donna, Stephanie, Julian, Shurimar, Jearunette in particular, but others as well). They really pamper you and try to make everything possible. We also went to other places and noticed a (big) difference. I especially liked the nachos at Schooner Bar. My daughter loved the cheesecake. Dinner at Blues was a bit disappointing. None of us finished our plate. Breakfast was great! So many things to choose from. All in all we had a great time!!

Bought a day pass while visiting by cruise ship and had a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel, pristine sands, fantastic snorkling, safe swimming and delicious cocktails made by Jose. I'm only sorry we had just a few hours here.

Octagon adults only rooms were so lovely!!! We had a balcony overlooking the ocean, and the BEST sunset views. The breakfast buffet options were more than enough, and the dinner at Blue's was sizable. We've been to other all inclusive and the food can be hit or miss, but at Avila you will not go hungry or thirsty! Also loved that it was in walking distance of Willemstad so we could explore without renting a car or getting a taxi.

I received an email from Avila Beach about completing my check in the morning of April 12. I completed it and the check in indicated I needed to pick a time to check in. I picked 3:00pm. When we arrived we were told that the room would not be ready until 4pm. Then I was called a liar about the whole 3pm debacle. As far as I’m concerned for $330 a night they would treat guests a little better. I will not stay here again and advise others to look elsewhere.

Jose, at the coffee hut, 4/10, was so kind and helpful and made the best cup of coffee. He had a great attitude, customer service was an A plus!

This was our second time coming to Avilia Beach Hotel from a cruise ship. This is the perfect place. Lovely grounds and so very clean. Beautiful beach and water. Every person we encountered was welcoming and so friendly. This is a really beautiful place to spend the day. HIghly recommend This is not a cruise ship excursion-privately booked-

We just got back from a week in paradise! We came here with our two boys and my parents. We stayed at the 3-bedroom beachfront apartments and it was perfect for our family of 6! We went to the supermarket and made breakfast everyday since they had a full kitchen. The beach was phenomenal! Don’t forget to bring sand toys for the kids. Everyone at the staff was lovely. Special shout out to Tishainy at the front desk. She helped me organize a special cake for my parents anniversary, rent a car and many other things! We will be back!

I came to Curaçao with my 24 year old daughter and stayed at the Avila Beach Hotel for 7 nights. We had an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful, our room was really nice and had all the amenities that we needed and was super clean. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The Beach is awesome, the water is warm and the drinks are fantastic! The hotel is close to some amazing restaurants I would highly recommend the Avila Beach Hotel and would definitely love to come back.

My boyfriend and I were lucky to have a couples massage at the Cloud Nine Spa on our recent trip to Curacao. Both Mayra and Naiome were excellent - we very much enjoyed our time on their tables!

My wife and I have had a wonderful week here at the Avila Beach Hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the property is intimate and beautifully maintained with gorgeous beaches, the food is excellent, and the staff are outstanding. Especially noteworthy is the breakfast buffet, offering a fantastic spread of cuisine options. This was our first time in Curacao, but it will not be out last. Thank you for a wonderful week.

First time here and it was an awesome experience. The place is romantic, clean and everyone there was polite and friendly. The gentleman at entrance who took our bags and provided us with a welcoming punch drink was so nice. The lobby was so interesting and the workers who keep it clean do a great job. We will be back and wont even bother looking at any other hotels as we found our gem here. The vibe is very quiet and peaceful yet still has a bit of music at the schooner bar and music at Blues restaurant on weekends and the band we saw there on Thursday evening was outstanding what a singer. There was also a singer on the beach Wednesday evening and she was also wonderful. The pool is clean and I saw them clean it every morning as we were up early. Great hotel keep it up!

Very nice resort scenic and clean rooms, the staff is amazing always smiling and do a good job running this place. Shout out to Donna on Omelette station, wonderful spirit and made the best Omelettes. The place has good eating choices and you have to catch Saturday Night BBQ night. I would say the location is perfect if you want to explore the other parts of the Island and waking distance to some really nice restaurants and areas like Cascada DeHeeran @ Sea and many others. This was our best vacation yet and this resort played a big role in it.

We stopped in for lunch and were very impressed with the welcome, the lay of the property, the beach and were even shown a 2 bdrm unit for future consideration. Julian was so gracious, kind and pleasant . She made us want to stay and certainly consider renting here next year. We k ow the hospitality business and so we cannot underestimate the value Julian was to us in wanting to put Avila on our vacation stay list. The food was excellent, tasty, well presented and a good portion. We will definitely look at this property in the future. Thanks again Julian for making us feel so welcomed and treating us with your friendship and kindness .

Very nice accommodations, friendly staff. Wonderful grounds. Large enough to explore or relax. Plenty of seating in different parts of the property , very nice options if you are trying to find a bit of shade. Not crowded. We were always able to find lounge chairs at the beach.

Avila Beach Hotel is a jewel. The setting is perfect with 2 beautiful sandy beach coves for easy swimming and lovely snorkeling on the ocean side of the stone walls. Wonderful restaurants, bars and the historic downtown are all within walking distance. Avila is an elegant resort has a warm, family feel. We returned for our 10th visit, drawn back by the beautiful accommodations, outstanding staff and glorious sunsets. The reception team are very welcoming, professional and helpful. Check-in was efficient and included a welcome, delicious fruit punch. Staff are quick to help with luggage, questions and advice. Throughout our stay we regularly consult the reception staff whose information on the resort and the island always enhance our visit Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony facing the ocean. As both snorkelers and pool swimmers, we appreciated the drying rack suggested by the reception staff. The food and beverage options are so extensive that we wrote a separate review for The Penn for their wonderful food and fabulous staff. Overall, Avila Beach Hotel is the ideal place to fully enjoy all the many wonderful experiences that Curacao has to offer.
