Killarney Heights Hotel

Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Reception staff friendly and really helpful.

Restaurant had no atmosphere. Dreadful choice of piped music. Really dreary and depressing. Waiting staff were helpful enpigh, but seemed a bit aimless. We had to ask for tea and coffee a couple of times at breakfast on day 1, although in fairness day 2 was more organised.

Nice hotel restaurant, good location near the town. Easy access to the major areas we wanted to visit. Nice to have amenities like the coffee maker and small refrigerator in the room. Very good breakfast in the mornings.

Not having air conditioning made it a bit more challenging to manage the room temperature. We weren't too uncomfortable - windows opened helped us keep things in a more comfortable range.

We loved the room and kids activities. Also has fantastic breakfast.

The bathroom smells so nasty in spite it was really clean

Incredibly overpriced for what it is. Room was so far away from anything, so far away from reception it was like a maze trying to find the room and the very particular elevators to use.

The family rooms are spacious, well designed, comfortable and beautiful - the kids loved having their own room too. The kitchenette and dining nook were very handy. Breakfast was great with diverse options for all tastes - the restaurant is beautiful and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved having onsite activities for the kids. We actually tried to extend our booking but unfortunately couldn't move out the booking at our next stop in Ireland.

I tried a coffee at the coffee shop one afternoon and that was a little disappointing.

Convenient to National Park. Quiet location. Room was nicely furnished. Comfortable beds. Great breakfasts.

Breakfast - very good (you can order what you want for breakfast) Size of room - very good (Bigger then expectation) It was very clean and location was good as well. I stayed for two days, very satisfied.

Breakfast could have more variety! Just one cheese, just one ham...but there was some to order options too.

Comfortable beds, attractive rooms, nice bathrooms.

Not uncommon, but there was no AC, which can now be an issue in summer. This wasn't an issue in one of our rooms, but in the other the window could only be opened a crack and it was quite hot and stuffy. Service at dinner was slow and a bit spotty (we were eating on the late side) and the food was only ok.

We booked a suite and they were amazing. Plenty of room. Fully kitted kitchen. The bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The staff were lovely. The room was definitely worth what we paid.

The walk from the entrance to our room was very long and the elevators were assigned A,B,C per floor. The hallway would go on and on and getting to our room the first time was quite confusing.

The kids club was by far the best thing about the stay, the kids really loved it making the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable. The family suite was also a great option, beds were comfortable and the space was much needed.

the food in the hotel itself wasn't the best. we had dessert only one night and there was very little options, and what was there did not appeal taste wise. The breakfast was also very disappointing, we arrived at 9.30 and the staff started to tidy away bits before we had a chance to have some, eg pancakes.

Breakfast was not cooked well -- worst of all the hotels we stayed at in Ireland. Eggs way overcooked, had to ask them to try again. Staff at breakfast was brusque, not well trained.

Staff was pleasant. Room was spacious and clean.

Book an upgrade superior king bedroom which was spacious, clean and well appointed. However, there was no safe nor refrigerator in the room. The hotel clearly caters to conferences, bus tours and family vacations. There were children running aimlessly out of control in the lobby, restaurant and common areas each day of our stay.

Spacious, clean, great rooms. Access to the pool and Arcade is amazing for kids.

They advertised extra large bed but it was two single beds put together and that made it super uncomfortable The rooms are tooooo far from reception its like walking another mile to the room I put in tag to service my room which they didn’t and just folded wer towels and out back didn’t change sheets as well.

Great staff, great breakfast with so much variety. Beds are comfy, great tv with an access to all your streaming channels if you have accounts. Quiet place to stay.

No fridges in the room, I carry medication that needs refrigeration and it seems this is not catered for, they offered to keep in the downstairs reception. Worried I would leave it behind.

Zu Beginn hatten wir ein Zimmer, das die Geräusche der Lüftungsanlage der Küche sehr laut übertragen hat. Zudem gab es noch ein weiteres Problem. Der Manager hat jedoch sehr gut reagiert. Der weitere Aufenthalt war super.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und kompetent. Besonders der Rezeptionist George war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns auch sehr gut informiert !

Very helpful & friendly staff. The decor of the rooms & corridors were very relaxing. The food was excellent.

It appeared as if you were a bit short staffed at breakfast.

Great if you’re traveling with kids! Daily activities: splash zone, sports, movie night & built in babysitting so you can enjoy an adult only night.

Everything was great, just wish it were within walking distance to town.

The “belle époque” atmosphere.

Too noisy during night due to room facing large hotel parking, seemingly to be used as public parking and hence constant chattering, laughter and loud conversations.

Easy to found, staff friendly. I enjoyed staying there.
