Good clean & comfortable room on the ground for our 1 night stay along with private parking. Excellent breakfast and Breda was a very efficient host. She was able to suggest places to eat & visit. A 15 min walk to all the shops, bars and restaurants.

Breda und ihr Team haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns jede Menge Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, neben einem kleinen Frühstücksbüffet konnte man außerdem noch aus mehreren Frühstücksvariationen auswählen. Alles sehr lecker und liebevoll zubereitet! Neben dem Frühstückszimmer gibt es einen kleinen, gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum. Pflegeprodukte waren in mehr als ausreichender Menge vorhanden.

The room was comfortable and we got enjoyed a good night sleep. Delicious breakfast. The location was a short walk to the bus and train station as well as the town center. Access to the park was also close. Breda was so warm and welcoming.

Das Frühstück war außergeöhnlich gut und reichhaltig. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hat uns bei allen Fragen zur Umgebung unterstützt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben das Killaran House als Ausgangspunkt für die Kerry Way Wanderung genutzt. Es liegt fußläufig zum Bahnhof und nur wenige Minuten von der Innenstadt von Killarney. Breda ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin und hat uns bei allen Fragen unterstützt. Das Frühstück war außergewönlich gut und reichhaltig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es war eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Wenn man etwas vergessen hat, Zahnbürste, Haarspray etc. - kein Problem- alles da. Breda war eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin.

The accommodation was beautiful and Breda was a wonderful hostess.

The house is amazing: nice decoration, comfortable beds, good smell, a lot of slot for parking, easy to go to center by walking. The owner is the best host that i ever met during our 2 weeks holiday at this country. You can ask her for advice for road, restaurant....

From the moment I placed the booking, Breda was available to answer any questions I had and during our stay in Killarney she was very helpful to tips to navigate around town, suggested restaurants and above all of this she even gave me tips to drive around County Kerry. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und Mitarbeiter. Ausreichen Parkplätze an der Unterkunft. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit jederzeit zugänglichem Aufenthaltsraum. Gemeinschaftskühlschrank, Heißgetränke und eine Auswahl an Pflegeartikel jederzeit zugänglich in den Fluren. Hervorragendes Frühstück. Danke Breda + Team.

Breda ist eine so tolle, zuvorkommende Gastgeberin. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Das Frühstück war so liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker.

The host was very helpful and friendly. Breda recommended lovely places to see in Killarney. The room was perfect for the two of us and very walkable to the centre of town.

The owner was absolutely friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Lovely ambiance and extras available. Extra tea/ coffee avail. Extra hygiene products ie, shampoo, soaps etc. Lovely decor. Position just off the very busy part of town so you're not caught in the traffic

Staff very friendly, room well equiped and all items very clean. Super breakfast ! 15 min walk to join the center.

If windows are opened, it's noisy with the road near the house.

L’accueil exceptionnel et chaleureux de la Breda et son équipe qui fait honneur à l’hospitalité irlandaise ! De très bons conseils sur les visites à faire et les pubs de qualité, une chambre digne d’un hôtel 4 étoiles et les services qui vont avec (station café en accès libre , produits de salle de bain en accès libre…). Le petit déjeuner était fantastique et très varié. Stationnement très simple sur place et inclu avec la chambre ! Enfin, la proximité du centre de killarney à pied (10min) et tous les petits commerces utiles dans la rue (station service, laverie automatique, supermarché, pharmacie etc).

It was located in central Killarney and yet in walking distance of very good restaurants. It had a spacious parking lot outside and every possible comfort inside: nice rooms with big windows and bathrooms that provided everything you need. There was also a common tea/coffee-area and a common living room. For breakfast you could choose between 5 different varieties and of course we tried the big Irish breakfast.

We arrived with some delay but had communicated to the host. Arrival check-in was very friendly and welcoming. Nice guidance given on the Ring of Kerry sites and the must sees. The location was spotlessly clean, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

All was very good, with the only observation on limited space at the breakfast room; we were assigned to a very early breakfast time and would have preferred 30 minutes later, but all tables were already booked for later.

Killaran House is a true gem as is Breda who owns it. It is immaculate, beautifully furnished and spotless. Breda has thought of everything … a great coffee/tea station with sweet treats. There is wonderful attention to detail in the rooms and shower rooms . Killaran House is in an ideal location , situated about 10/15 minute walk from the centre of Killarney . We had a lovely 3 night stay and would definitely go back.

Breda was a lovely host and very attentive to any needs or questions we had. The house is very clean and cozy with lots of thoughtful touches. We didn’t hear any noise throughout the night either from other guests or passing traffic. The bathroom was spacious. Heaps of parking available at the property and only a short walk into town. Couldn’t fault a thing.

Since I had never stayed in a B&B before, I had my doubts despite the property's high rating. But those doubts turned out to be completely unfounded, our expectations were exceeded by far. It was a much more comfortable experiences than the all 3-4 star hotels I've stayed at.

Breda est exceptionnelle. Elle est d'une efficacité incroyable pour vous conseiller sur la route du Ring of Kerry, la péninsule de Dingle ou le parc national. Sa liste des restaurants est bien ciblée. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre mais pour 8,50 euros elle propose un petit déjeuner continental froid avec saumon, charcuterie, fromage, etc... Propreté de la chambre irréprochable. Dans le couloir, on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour les boissons chaudes même des produits de soins, couture, etc... Le lodge se trouve à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville.

Comme souvent en Irlande, la taille du lit est de 140 cm de large, donc petit pour nous et lorsque votre partenaire se retourne, vous vous retrouvez en mode montagnes russes. C'est le seul bémol que je trouve à ce super lodge.

Good location. My wife and I had a great night out and felt secure enough to put our kids to bed and step out for a pint after dinner down the street. Overall, would recommend for a quick stay. Breakfast was great.

Room was a little cramped and the bathroom had some older fixtures and water pressure was a problem at times. Staff was ok, but seemed rushed with a short check-in schedule. Long walk was a problem for my youngest.

Breda made us so welcome. The room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable . The location is so handy for central Killarney and Breda's recommendations for food and where to watch the World Cup were spot on. And breakfast the next day was superb. I highly recommend this place.

Very friendly welcome and lovely accommodation but also the most expensive of our road trip. Easy walk into the town, informative host. Excellent breakfast to set us on our way.

Breda makes the stay feel very personable, and we were really made to feel like we were part of the family. Everything we needed was provided for.

Great location for us to walk into the town centre for supper (Bricin) superb. Breda is a lovely warm host, who is rightly proud of her excellent B and B. Our room was super clean and well equipped. Slept very soundly. For breakfast we could choose from a Continental one (8.50 Euros) or we could add on a cooked element for an additional 6 Euros. We went Continental, which was very varied and excellent. Loads of free parking and very good WiFi. A great place all round.

I had the most wonderful stay here, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I came to Killarney on my own to celebrate my birthday, and this guesthouse made the whole trip feel special from start to finish. The room was beautifully quiet — I slept so well every night, which made all the difference after long days out cycling and hiking. It’s the kind of peaceful, restful space you really appreciate when you’re travelling and need somewhere calm to come back to. What truly stood out, though, was how thoughtful and attentive Breda was. Every little detail was taken care of, and I was made to feel genuinely welcome and looked after the entire time. As a solo traveller, that kind of warmth and care means so much — it turned what could have been a lonely trip into something really comforting. The location is perfect too — just a short walk into the town centre, the train station, and the national park, which was ideal since I wasn’t driving. Thanks to this place, I had one of the most comfortable and memorable birthdays I could have hoped for. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, welcoming, and beautifully run in Killarney, this is it. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in the area again. Thank you for everything!
