Everything from the look and design to the comfort and space. I especially loved the fireplace in the living room and everything had been thought of.

Room was large with gorgeous views of snow capped mountains as well as a very comfortable bed- great bathroom as well as small kitchen which had everything you would need.

Sitting room chairs in room are uncomfortable, would benefit from having proper armchairs rather then outdoor furniture with larger cushions. Breakfast was ok for continental but hot options were disappointing.

The room and the staff are very friendly.

The perfect location and luxurious accommodation - spacious and comfortable. The golf course was exceptional. Fabulous meal at The Millhouse. Wonderful staff. Perfect location and shuttles to Arrowtown and Queenstown. We are already planning our return trip!

Millbrook is a beautiful property - the grounds are always stunning. We like being near Arrowtown so the location is perfect for us. The beds are fantastically comfortable and every window in the rooms has a beautiful view. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. Our massages at the spa were A-mazing, always first class treatments from lovely therapists.

We will always stay at Millbrook but for the very first time in over a decade of visiting I felt like some things were a teeny bit tired. Our deluxe studio room needed an upgrade - carpets, walls and furniture now all looking a bit old. We love the food at Kobe but really felt like we were eating in a hall, there was no real atmosphere, I just feel like the decor could be better. Even the changing rooms in the Spa were just lacking somehow. I sound like I'm being hyper critical but it's only because Millbrook is really my happy place and I always want it to be perfect, as it should be.

I love everything about Millbrook. The restaurants are fabulous the rooms are delightful, the views are incredible, it's a very special place.

Millbrook Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The complimentary shuttle service to both Arrowtown and Queenstown made exploring the region effortless while allowing us to return to the tranquillity of the resort. Our dining experiences at Millhouse and Kobe were exceptional, with beautifully crafted menus, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that perfectly complemented the resort’s luxury setting. The couples spa experience was equally outstanding—professional, relaxing, and the perfect way to unwind during our stay. From the warm hospitality to the world-class facilities, every aspect of our visit felt thoughtfully curated. Millbrook is a truly exceptional destination for anyone seeking luxury, relaxation, outstanding dining, and unforgettable experiences. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Everything! It’s stunningly by and picturesque views are magic.

It’s definitely costly but the amenities and facilities make it such a gorgeous place to visit.

The room s ( suite) were 5 star rating they had everything in which you would need at this time of year, couldn’t fault it

We loved everything!! It was such a beautiful, relaxing weekend. We stayed in a two-bed suite and it was exceptional. The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast is very tasty.

Pool was dated. Everything is open to the public it was extremely busy and not relaxing. Feels run down.

Where do I start. The Staff are extremely friendly. Always ready to bend over backwards to help. The bus service to arrow town was connivant. The room and resort were very clean and well presented.

Check-out day. Didn't want to leave.

The room is perfectly clean and furnished. All the restaurants on site are unique.the terrace with golf course view is too good to miss.

The shuttle services, the deluxe studio by the stream was pretty, gorgeous decor, friendly staff, range of eating and drinking options were excellent and Kate at the Spa was amazing!

Everything service, location, facilities everything was gold star oh and the beautiful team at the home in one bar made the best white chocolate martini’s 🙌🏻!!

Lovely apartment. 132 Being somewhat disabled, appreciated lots of pickups and deposits at my locations.

Bed excellent. Pillows shocking. Got very little sleep. Heating via aircon blowing v cool air, therefore v cold overnight.

Stunning resort with free transport into arrowtown, Queenstown & airport. Rooms are large and comfortable.

Where do I start?! This resort is one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been to many many countries. The resort itself is one of the prettiest places I’ve seen, it’s like a movie set. We went in Autumn and the trees were stunning!!! Everything was just perfect including our room and it was spotlessly clean! We only stayed one night but I wished we stayed more. Staff were awesome, golf course outstanding, 10/10!!

the cigarette smoke from room next door coming into my room. I suggested millbrook should be smoke free (amazed it is not) bathroom and toilet need a refresh tho. also, a lot of noisy leaf blowers at times (like motor bikes revving).

Great golf cart transport system. Breakfast pleasant well presented Out door deck fabulous for quiet relaxation.

Requested a Deluxe Studio with a golf course view - did not receive this room on check in. I had to request a change - which I eventually got after an hour. Glad it was eventually sorted.

The lovely appointed room looking up into the mountains was lovely. Having everything in walking distance, although a little far somedays. The restaurants and cafe are great with good selection catering for all travellers. We didnt play golf on this occasion.

The inconsistency of the meals from night to night. One night a good portion and the following very small for the same dish, after I told my group who joined me how plentiful it was, to be let down.

Lovely property - absolutely stunning location Rooms were fabulous and we had a great view over the hills with stunning sunsets every evening. We got a room with a kitchen which was fantastic for our stay and lovely to have such a well equipped kitchen Bathroom was huge and great water pressure. Bed was comfy Gym and facilities were really good - the guy at the gym gave us so many recommendations which was really useful Great yoga class Can’t wait to come back and visit

The quiet

Loved the resort and how quiet it was. The staff were friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our long weekend there.

I was expecting a 5 class hotel but overall disappointing. Service was poor by international standards, but probably good by NZ standards in South island. Also I expected the Japanese restaurant to be slightly more formal in the service. Breakfast was very confusing - there were a load of questions before we were given a seat ie buffet , or cooked etc , even though both were on the buffet tables. There were eggs on the buffet table but when I took one I was told it wasn’t a hard boiled egg as I thought and was told to return it . I booked the hotel for 2 nights , but booking of second night was done separately to the first night . I asked that I be accommodated by not having to move rooms . In the event , reception knew nothing about this and proposed moving me to another cheaper room . I asked to be accommodated in the same room and eventually they accommodated me , at an extra cost . I had to make a case for not paying this surcharge( it seems that the first night was in a better room that what was reserved for the 2nd night) and eventually reception waived the extra charge , on the basis that they would have avoided having to move our luggage etc .

Stunning surroundings and facilities

Poor communication from Kobe Restaurant when trying to make a reservation. It’s not good enough to ignore messages for 2 days. The cost difference between the two golf courses seems unfair and disproportionate, and came as quite a shock when we went to pay.

Handy to airport, Arrowtown and Queenstown. Lovely laid out resort. Friendly, helpful staff. Only a fleeting visit for us, but will be back.

Our two bedroom apartment was a home away from home. Wished our stay was longer and will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, lovely clean apartment, excellent food and the staff were all lovely - especially enjoyed the yoga classes!

Outdoor hot pools looked very tired.
