Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
The pool and fitness area are not large enough and need more attention to meet the level of the rest of the property.
Location is convenient. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Staff was friendly. The included breakfast was above average, and included an omelette bar where they would cook you an omelette to order.
Though the location is convenient, access is only possible from one direction on the street, and the entrance off the street is poorly lit and was difficult to see in the dark. The panel controlling access to the parking lot was also poorly lit and somewhat confusing in limited light. The staff indicated that they had been having some technical facility issues that evening, which may or may not have contributed to this. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi in the pool area was out of service, however it was a Saturday night and there were many people in the pool area, so that might have been a deal breaker anyway. What I was most surprised about, however, was the unavailability of ice machines. We were on the top floor, and the ice machine there was not working. But when I went looking on other floors where they would be, I could not find any other ice machines at all. And when I finally asked the staff at the front desk where I could find one, they indicated that there was one there first floor adjacent to the elevators, but I don’t think there were any other working ones in the hotel. Odd for such a large hotel.
The staff was very nice. Breakfast was pretty good. But, they need to asd bacon. Not everyone like sausage.
I didn't like the fact that parking was not included in the cost of the ALTEADY HIGH COST. I didn't l8ke the fact that the gate to enter and leave would not take the room key. I didn't like having to call and bother the front desk for access. I REALLY REALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE MANAGER'S RECEPTION!!! TALK ABOUT DISAPPOINTING! Take a page from the DRURY!!!
The staff were very friendly and ready to support us when we got to the hotel during the key card shut down! The rooms had lots of space and had good amenities and complimentary drinks!
Both times we stayed in this hotel the rooms smelled and we had towels and sheets that were stained! On the website the shuttle services and hours were never updated and we counted on that information to best meet our travel needs. When we arrived we were told different hours due to them not having a shuttle driver. I was only upset that this information didn’t get released anywhere nor to anyone prior to our stay, as the shuttle was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The breakfast was not the best and offered less and less variety than before.
The breakfast was nice, especially the made to order omlets. The rooms were decent. Woman who checked me in was very kind and helpful.
Hide away bed had loose chip chunks/crumbs in it. Shower would not get hot only luke warm. Beds were not very comfortable. Set room temp to lower cool temp and ot would not cool down beyond 72 regardless. Pool was white not clear. Very salty, even for a saltwater pool. Not worth the price at all.
The staff was great and accommodating. The room was very.spacious and clean. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast and evening social, awesome!! Great value and great location. Will definitely be back
Was so comfortable and clean beautifully renovated. Complimentary breakfast and drinks is awesome.
Only wish the pool had smaller than 4ft but that's it.
Wonderful & perfect place
It’s big structure, the room and the breakfast
The bathtub was not clean, had hair from previous people.
Rude staff (push their way into elevators before guests!) Smelly bathroom / shower curtains Used toilet paper roll Thin pillows
It’s clean
Strong smell of paint & we were told hotel was being under renovations
The proximity to the airport was helpful for us, so we could turn in the rental car that evening (avoiding the overnight parking fee) and just take the shuttle in the morning. We appreciated having the pool available. We also enjoyed our evening meal in the atrium, watching the FIFA World Cup game. They have an evening reception with free beverages, which was a helpful addition to our meal. The rooms were comfortable and quiet - the bedrooms being insulated enough from the activities in the atrium.
The check in process was easy, the room was clean and comfortable. Vent situation makes prominent whooshing sound in the living room area near the door (unavoidable because of hotel design), but rooms were quiet. Our telephone in the room didn't work, so when I tried to get them to refill soap dispenser, had to go downstairs, but housekeeping promptly delivered the soap in 5 minutes. Was going to partake in the evening 2 free drink reception, but missed it by 10 min, and was rudely notified of this by the evening gentleman at the bar (someone else said "guy working at the bar hates his life and everyone", yes spot on! Morning breakfast included, made to order omelettes were the highlight, but the other items were no better than any cheap chain hotel. And the parking is outrageous at $25, too much for this location! For a premium offering I was disappointed in everything but the room.
After escaping what felt like the hotel version of a true crime documentary, arriving at Embassy Suites was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked through the doors, Trey made me feel genuinely welcome. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were just the tip of the iceberg. Every interaction left me feeling like I was in good hands, and he consistently went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. It’s rare to come across someone with such an outstanding attitude and such impressive customer service. The level of hospitality was hard to beat. There was one unexpected surprise during my stay that certainly wasn’t part of the standard room package, but Trey handled the situation with such grace and professionalism that it honestly became part of the story rather than part of the problem. Some hotels leave you disappointed; this one just left me with an unforgettable experience and a hilarious tale to tell. Embassy Suites should be proud to have Trey leading the evening team. He turned what could have been an awkward situation into one that was handled flawlessly, with professionalism and genuine care. If every hotel had a Trey, the hospitality industry would be standing a little taller.
The hotel was nice, the room was clean and big enough for me and my large family. The free breakfast was good. The staff fixed my issues I had checking in that they caused and comped my parking for the inconvenience.
When I first tried checking in they said my room wasnt ready even though it was 4 pm and check in was 4, tried giving me a smaller room with less beds and I said no I would wait because i needed the extra pull out couch due to me having my 6 kids. Guy working the counter said he would call me when our room was ready said itd be maybe 30 minutes. I went to set outside with my 6 kids and literally an hour and a half went by and I seen the guy who said he would call me get in his car and leave. So I went in asking why no one had called me and come to find out dude just forgot and didnt tell anyone I was waiting. The lady helping me after was super apologetic and trying to get us in to our room quickly as it had been ready for over an hour at that point, even though it still wasn't the time promised, but she double charged me even though I showed her I had prepaid on Booking.com and wouldnt let me check in if I didnt pay, so I had to call customer support, and the guy who helped me was an angel and called them and fixed it and made them take off the second charge.
Lobby Bar surprisingly served good food.
They charged us for breakfast. We were charged 3x for shuttle service.
Breakfast met our needs
We couldn’t get our room temperature below 71 degrees. Breakfast ended at 0900 sharp. The workers closed everything. They could have left coffee available longer.
Room price too high Additionally parking fees of $25 plus sales tax and city parking tax for a total of $31.
i like the location , safe clean
lettle bit excepensive for the bed and the parking payment must be $15 dollor
I always like coming here, the rooms are large and spacious
Construction noise and dust
Great personable staff
I cold day before I arrived to verify that construction on Hotel would not affect the pool of breakfast.. i was told they would not be affected, but the hot tub was broken. When I arrived the next day the pool had a closed sign on it. I was looking forward to th a t and it was not available.
The breakfast was very good
Staff could care less clients were happy or not. They charge for the shuttle from the airport. Happy hour was very mediocre Chairs were torn and worn everywhere. Not a good look, and very uncomfortable. Used towels were on the floor when we arrived in our room
The service and it was clean
Only one elevator was working and the pool was closed 😞
Friendly and helpful staff, clean, quiet
I am being careful not to compare this place to what Embassy Suites once was, as this is far from that great place. Only one of three elevators was operational, and the hot tub was closed. They said it was due to a "big renovation", but the situation was the same last year when I stayed there. One of three ice machines was not working. The bed is at least 12" too high. I am 6' high, and had to jump up to get into bed. And forget about sitting on it to get dressed! I had to run the water full-blast for 3-4 minutes to get any hot water. And be sure to add $25 per night for parking (per car if multiple). There are better values in the immediate area.
This is a very tired hotel with a vision of getting better in the future, just not anytime soon. There were many many things that need to be fixed but it appears not to be a Hilton priority at the moment. Probably the best example is the situation with the elevators. The hotel has 3 public elevators but 2 have been out of order for the last 5 months (read reviews). You will wait for elevators unless you’re fortunate enough to get a low floor room (217, 317, 417) by the only stairs that empty into the hotel (rather than outside). Pool and hot tubs were closed, restaurant closed, and atrium furniture well past needing repair with lots of ripped and worn cushions and non existent padding on chairs. They did have the embassy suite reception but there was nothing to eat other than trail mix, chips and vegetables that looked like they came from the local food pantry. Obviously a hotel that is currently operating to maximize profits. But…the corner suite room was large, clean, very quiet, and they even had daily maid service (which was nice but since there is no operating service elevator ties up the single elevator during the day). You should get a good night sleep here but you will walk away with a different view of Hilton that you had when you arrived.
From reading previous reviews and experiencing firsthand, I can say this hotel will apologize for their inconvenience and still not seem to care enough to put effort towards fixing their issues. Staff: Responds quick, have had better(more polite) service Room: Smelled like cigarettes the first night Hotel: Easy Parking In/Out but far from the entrance. STILL one elevator working, so expect to be waiting because it was already filled up most of the time it reached your floor.
Could not find reservation
Did not have room or reservation, I even had a text message from the hotel saying I was good
It was very clean
The person that checks us in, didn’t tell us how to to the room or that we need cards for breakfast in morning, I overheard someone asked for breakfast cards. but when I ask for the cards I was told they ran out and that we would not need it that We just needed to give the number if they requested the cards. Then in the morning the lady at the omelette bar ask for the card and I told her what the front counter said and she didn’t believe me. She gave me a weird look. I was very embarrassed. She didn’t even ask the people behind me for their passes for breakfast. I gave my room number and she ask me if I had the room key. Very awkward moment.
Entire time there was only 1 elevator working, my husband had to wait over half an hour for an elevator with enough room to bring our stuff to the room. Nobody even tried working on elevators. We got to our room, there was a full garbage bin under bathroom sink, stains on the blankets, the tub would not drain so we would have to stand in freezing cold water up past our ankles while showering, and when it would drain an hour later the tub would be filled with other peoples hair. The pool was disgusting, no towels and no working hot tub. Never any room to order breakfast and guy working at the bar hates his life and everyone. And it’s $25 a day to park, no free breakfast. Never again.
Spacious lobby
Ants all over the room
Nice clean room, very helpful staff
The breakfast was great they need to add bacon
The pool was closed and only one elevator was working
The breakfast and happy hour are good
Only 1 of 3 elevator worked. Room was full of ants and their solution was to leave a vacuum in the room so we could vacuum them up. Staff was not very friendly. The pool was closed even though online said it would be open.
Most of the staff was friendly, especially the house keepers and maintenance people, breakfast omelettes are good.
Only one elevator out of 3 was working, hotel was booked full so this was a major inconvenience, took upwards of 10 minutes each time. Ice machines were not working on 6 of the 8 floors including mine. I booked an accessibility room and was put on the 8th floor, which with only 1 elevator was a major inconvenience. Garbage cans on the grounds remained full the entire weekend. Lobby was not a welcoming area like it has been on previous stays, they closed the lobby at 10pm, which was not mentioned anywhere on the booking page, and 10pm closing really means the disgruntled night staff asked us to leave at 9:45. It was nice last year to be able to relax in the lobby with the adults after 10pm once the kids all went to bed, this year we didn't have that. Hot water on the 8th floor took 10+ minutes before it worked, and even then it was just warm, not hot. Pool was closed, which was also not mentioned on the booking page when I booked. Parking gates were not working, so lines backed up and people were frustrated, this made getting in and out of the hotel way more difficult than necessary, especially since we were all charged for parking, that was in fact not secure or had functional gates. Water pressure was terrible in the showers. One guy told me the elevators have been broken for over 6 months, which for a multi million dollar company is just outrageous.
Location
Construction, going on in the hotel, I was two minutes late for breakfast and couldn't get breakfast
Absolutely terrible experience. 1 out of 3 elevators working, garbage cans overflowing, poor water pressure, no hot water only luke warm, pool closed, parking gates broken, lobby unwelcoming, rude night staff.
Shower was never very hot. And it took a long time to get warm. Bypass from tub faucet was not working. Mirror was damaged in hallway.
The room was nice and it fit us all well, but we came for the amenities and they all disappointed.
Pool was ice cold and hot tub was not full. There was construction going on above us that woke us up in the morning. The housekeeper walked into our room when we were all sleeping, thinking that it was an empty room. Parking is an extra $25. Only one of the three elevators was working and so it took us 30 minutes to go down on an elevator with our bags.
The stay was great, happy hour and breakfast are definitely the selling points for this one!
I didn't like being woken up by the fire alarms
I booked a 2 beds and a suite. Our room was #730. Must have been remodeled. All new furniture. Laminate wood flooring. Very quiet. They put in a new 3rd replacement elevator when we were there. Breakfast was great. Did not go evening reception. Mellisa checked us in early. Would stay again and yes we had to pay $25.00 a day for parking.
It was clean, tidy and a great price.
The elevators stopped working. 1 out of 3 functioned.
Friendly staff and nice facility
There was only one working elevator
The hotel was falling apart pool was dirty and hot tub didn't work. The facility was extremely cold and some team members were rude. The bar wouldn't serve us drinks it took 1 hours to get a burger and the breakfast buffet you see raves about online was limited to apples oranges yogurt and omelets the staff reminded you children couldn't get. Only one elevator worked and their was a construction crew working all day the whole three days. A manager told me I would get a credit on my bill but that was a lie I actually got charged another 98 because I had to pay tulwila and state tax plus a 25 parking fee that's still not adding up but it is what it is
Misrepresenting your brand. Could have set warnings to customers letting them know your under construction or at least have one amenity that's fully functional .
It was a last minute booking after a hospital infusion. It was cheap for being last minute and the room was big.
The hotel was cold, took all night for our room alone to heat up, there’s no notices on booking.com that this hotel is under major renovation meaning several floors and/or rooms are being worked on, only one elevator works, meaning you have to wait upwards of 10 min for it and there was a point where none were working and my fiancé had to find the stairs luckily we were on the 3rd floor, complete fire hazard to have no elevator working since I know (I saw guest) on wheelchairs that would not be able to go down stairs this is absolutely unacceptable, then after checking in, again no prior notice when booking, we received a letter under the door stating there would be several interruptions to electrical and heating while it was being worked on. They should absolutely not have guest staying here under these conditions.
Happy hour and omelets and a quiet nights sleep bring us back every time
I liked the location. The reception lady was very friendly even though she did the night shift. It was clean.
My room was so warm and I wasn't able to cool it down
Nice breakfast.
Hotel is very dated and tired. Only 1 out of 3 elevators works. Same as my last stay 3 weeks prior.
They offer beverages
There was no swimming pool or hot tub
Best breakfast ever!!
Elevator's works bad.
The room was nice and comfortable didn't get to stay for breakfast had to check out at 5:45 am for rental car return and early morning flight to Atlanta .
Hotel was lovely. large, clean suite Breakfast was exceptional
Nothing
There were many teenagers running around all levels for over an hour screaming playing races around the floors. We thought it was an emergency. Took the staff a very long time to get them to stop. This was in the evening time too so impossible to rest. The bathroom shower flooded the entire bathroom floor and we had to use all the towels to control the water so no one would slip. There were chunks of paint missing and the towel hooks were falling off the doors. The coffee maker was unusable and full of white chalky dust mess inside the entire machine.
Stayed here on business trip and this hotel is suited for that, has good workspace in the room and lobby. The hotel has all the elements to be good but is in need of a renovation. There is signs up saying it is going through a renovation to be completed for Spring 2026, which should hopefully make it what it needs to be. The rooms and furniture and decor are dated. The perk is the layout and spaciousness of the room are great. The room cleaning could use improvement, there was hair in my shower when I arrived and something gross on my front door that was there for all 5 days of my stay and never wiped off. The cleaning during the week was also poor, one day an item of garbage that I had put in the garbage bin was on the floor after the cleaning, and my hair was always still on the floor. It’s just my hair and my garbage so I wasn’t that bothered, but the point is they obviously don’t clean well. The lobby area and the amount of seating and social area is a great concept. But again, there is ripped and worn furniture so the visual appeal of it could be improved. The breakfast and happy hour snack and lacking in comparison to the photos you see advertised. I will say all the staff I encountered were lovely and very friendly. From the ladies making the morning omelettes to the front desk staff. I would return once this place finishes its Reno’s and updating.
Friendly staff
The pool was being renovated Would of liked a discount for this not being available
Not what I was expecting! The hotel has three elevators…2 were broken the whole week and one day all three were not working. That left everyone using the stairs. The indoor pool is not heated—so very cold. The hot tub was not working. The restaurant is not operating—but they act like it is and just send you to the bar to order. You can have eggs any way you’d like them, but don’t ask them to add any salt and pepper—they don’t want to do that. They say the laundry is done at high temperatures but twice we had fresh towels show up with makeup stains. And on the weekend the hotel was full of school age children in town for a soccer tournament—and that meant kids running around, loud and unsupervised. The staff is nice and responsive, they did their best to accommodate us, but the building is showing its age and need of maintenance. A little too expensive for the quality.
Home away from home
I liked the food. The room is old and dated. The room was clean to my standards.
My room was cold and dated. The toilet was for a kid and so was the tub. I spent over $400 to be let down.
It's always a pleasure, Amazing staff provided excellent service. Very friendly and accommodating. The was food good. Loved the Starbucks Barista and front desk staff. Go to for my family when they come visit. One of the Best stays in town. Shekelia (Missie)
Good
The bathroom was dirty. Pool was cold and hot tub closed
We checked in on Christmas day and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. I found the room spacious, clean, and comfortable. The very thick mattress meant that the top of the bed was quite high-might not work for some people. In the room coffee was poor-does any hotel do better? The morning brunch was good with custom omelets and plenty of other choices (limited choice of yogurt). The layout for brunch is a bit confusing with some items in the corners of the courtyard and some in the center. Website says a charge for the shuttle to and from SEATAC, but we were not charged.
The center courtyard design may work well in some climates but not so well in Seattle’s frequently overcast skies.. Perhaps the skylight material above it has aged and has become more opaque over the years. When the lights in the courtyard were turned off at the end of brunch, the courtyard was gloomy. The lights should be left on. Plants along the railings of the courtyard were struggling to stay alive (probably not enough light). They out to be refreshed or changed to artificial. Some of the chairs in the courtyard should be tossed in the dumpster yesterday; they are “sat out” -where you end up sitting in a hole. Apparently the hotel has a long term parking side business. We chose not to rent a car for our four night stay in part because of the daily parking charge of $25. There should be some option -like Hilton Honors membership that waives the parking fee. On a future trip I might opt for a different hotel where there is no parking charge.
The room
That I was charged for parking. When my car never stayed over night
Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was plentiful
Parking lot was difficult to access. TV was complicated to use. Did not like paying extra for parking.
