Reviewed Jun 2, 2025Checked in late Wednesday night, after the drive from Hong Kong airport, very limited English at reception. Tried to order room service or a meal in the restaurant 10:45pm everything closed. Limited dining in the nearby retail space, all was closed. Take RMB as the convienence store (7/11) doesnt take cards. Had breakfast in the main restaurant as Westin club is not open for Breakfast, Western food has no taste, self service coffee, as if the hotel is going through the motions of closing / cost cutting. Room upgrade was good, nice 1 bedroom suite, cleaning especially in the shower & toilet needs improvement. Of the 48 TV changes maximum of 2 in English. Bed was comfortable. Club lounge cocktail hour the bare minimum on offer with no service, we you ask for something staff use phone to translate English to Chinese, while this is practical, doesn't set a very good standard. I would expect alot more from a Westin. Its not good enough.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2025I joined a tour during Easter Holiday 2025 and spent one night in this hotel, which included a buffet dinner and breakfast. The hotel is located on the topmost floors of the building (39-59), which is the tallest in that area, so all rooms have scenic views. The room is reasonably large but a bit smaller when compared the Hilton Garden Inn Jiangmen. The buffets have good variety and quality, except the juice drinks are not up to Westin standard as they are all from factories. The hotel got some history as there are results of use inside the room. The shopping arcade underneath the hotel is less than half occupied while there is another portion mostly occupied by lighting suppliers as Guzhen is the capital for lighting appliances.
