Reviewed Sep 8, 2026Es un lugar hermoso para conectar con una misma, el espacio es super grande, y tienes varios lugares donde estar. Habían varias voluntarias súper amables, Pepa increíble, super bonito conocerla.
No me gustó que apenas llegué ya me querían vender clases de cosas, me parece super copado que cada quien pueda ofrecer sus cosas y laburos, está buenísimo. Pero uno también a veces viaja sin dinero y que todas las ofertas del hostel sean a cambio de dinero es raro.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Le logement était vraiment atypique et pratique. Le cadre avec vue sur la nature est agréable. Ils proposent des activités dans les espaces communs qui sont aussi agréables. Le personnel est très cool et arrangeant. Une ambiance chill et sans prise de tête. La cuisine est bien faite, il a des ateliers d’arts en tout genre, etc.
Le lit était petit pour 2 personnes.

Personal war nicht ganz so willig mir bei meinen Fragen zu helfen und hat mir auf WhatsApp verwiesen. Die Lage war viel zu weit entfernt für einen Tag. Wenn man jedoch ein paar Tage bleiben möchte ist es bestimmt ganz schön. Sauber war es auch nicht wirklich und Toilettenpapier gab’s nicht.

The kitchen could use some improvements. In the downstairs dorm, the Wi-Fi did not work properly, and there was no warm water either. One more tip: during check-in, the business vibe of “buy, promote, attend, we are cool 💰” should be presented in a more consistent and professional way — not all guests are the same.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Wir hatten 3 Nächte eine Glamping-Hütte. Die Ausstattung war gut, das Personal super nett. Das Publikum ist vorwiegend jung und aus der ä alternativen Szene. Die Gemeinschaftsküche haben wir nicht genutzt, ausser unseren Wein im Kühlschrank zu kühlen. Der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Nachts war es etwas kalt aber eine zusätzliche Decke half. Ca. 2 km in den Ort laufen und zurück mit dem Tuk-Tuk war easy. Es werden verschiedene Aktivitäten angeboten wie Yoga/Spanisch lernen/malen usw. Wenn ich 25 Jahre jünger wäre, würde ich sicher länger hier abhängen und 😃 Ich fands schön und hab mich von den Vibes an die 90-er Jahre in Thailand erinnert. Macht weiter so - tolles Projekt 👍

La cuisine est très chouette pour cuisiner, et le personnel/les volontaires très attentifs aux besoins des clients et en lien.

I was a bit worried it might be too "hippie" but it wasn't actually. I had good internet to work, peace if I wanted to stay focused and good company if I wanted to spend some time with others. I met great people there, lifetime friendships :)

Não é aconchegante. Apesar de bonito, não tem aquele cantinho que te faz sentir em casa. Para mim, foi a pior experiência da minha vida mesmo por conta dos colaboradores. Entre voluntário racista que não se pode dialogar e outro voluntário (ou funcionário, não sei), mas homens adultos que usam o grito como linguagem não são o tipo de gente que estou acostumada a lidar. Por sorte o dono não se importa pq já vai deixar de ser hospedagem. Se vc é latino, corra!

Reviewed Mar 12, 2025I love the atmosphere in Casa Kayam. It look a bit hippee and cozy. Even though the hostel is a bit far from the center but you are among the nature. You can get some fresh air and close to the nature. No worries, Small stores are near by. Nice common area. I love the green grass that we can do sport, yoga, skateboard etc.. They have yoga mat for using as well(just ask for it). Kitchen has all basic stuffs. Toilets and bathrooms are enough and clean. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. I stayed in dorm room. Every beds have own curtains. Bathrooms was perfect. The location is 2 km by walk to the terminal and center

Te desconectas del mundo y te sientes en otro país en otro lugarrr, me sentí extraña porque había mucho extranjero peroooooo eso me gustó porque me sentí en otro lugar, hay bastante por hacer y pasar el día. Arte, música, color, animales, me encantó. Volvería sin dudarlo

Reviewed Mar 10, 2025Lo mejor la amabilidad del personal y que están en un entorno rural y tienen varias zonas originales.
Una sola ducha para tanta gente se hace un poco difícil, los baños están ligeramente alejados de las habitaciones, si llueve hay que pisar barro para llegar a algunos de ellos, las literas se mueven demasiado, el colchón me pareció relativamente cómodo aunque la almohada no! La iluminación de la habitación es escasa y aunque es amplia huele bastante mal porque no tiene ventilacion. Lo peor de todo es que tienen la música a un volumen altísimo hasta las 23:30hs!!! No entiendo eso, las habitaciones están al lado, y hay personas que quieren dormir antes de esa hora independientemente de la edad que tengan. La limpieza de los utensilios de cocina por parte de los huéspedes fue lamentable! En esto supongo que el hostel tampoco tiene culpa pero podrían estar un poco más atentos, porque estaban todas las sartenes y ollas con restos de alimentos. El hostel está alojado lejos del centro, 30 minutos caminando, no hay cuestas por lo menos, lo malo es que el tuc tuc te cobra 9 mil pesos por un trayecto de 5 minutos como mucho. Sinceramente no es el tipo de hostel que me guste a mí, por eso le puse 6 puntos, y he estado en muchísimos hostels, incluso parecidos a este, quizás hay gente que le encanta, pero a mí no me gustó nada, me pareció un "refugio de gringos" la verdad, que se entienda lo que quiero decir, casi todos los huéspedes no hablan nada de español, y las chicas de recepción por la noche apenas hablan un poco de español! Eso me sorprendió, estando en Sudamérica claro...no es culpa del hostel supongo...l

Only stayed one night and came with friends, so we enjoyed playing table tennis and hanging out together here - but wasn’t particularly busy/social when we were there. Nice to stay out of the main town amongst nature!

Reviewed Dec 7, 2024Je ne peux que recommander ce lieu. De belles personnes, un super accueil , le lieu est très agréable et confortable. C'est un bel endroit situé à 20min du centre à pied (donc calme) et proche de belles randonnées.
