Absolument tout ! C'était une vraie surprise. La chambre était magnifique, la maison est magnifique, un havre de paix avec vue sur le lac. Pour une fois, c'est encore mieux que sur les photos. C'était mon anniversaire et un petit panneau m'attendait sur le lit avec "joyeux anniversaire" dessus. Des amours ! Quant à l' emplacement, il est parfait, une petite marche tranquille de 10 minutes et vous êtes en plein centre de Guatapé. N' hésitez pas un instant, réservez ❤️.

Peaceful ecolodge with beautiful views and good facilities for sports, yoga, relaxing etc. Very friendly and helpful staff always available for questions via whatsapp. There's also a communal fridge so you can keep your stuff cool. Nice hammocks and hot water 😍

There's no breakfast option but it didn't bother me. I had some snacks in the fridge and within 5 min walk you can already find breakfast places.

Très bel endroit, très accessible bien qu'un peu retiré du reste du village/ville ce qui accentue son charme. L'équipe est très sympatique et de très bon conseil. La nuit il y a la possibilité de faire un petit feu sous les étoiles, en bas du terrain.

En la descripción del hotel hacen referencia a un préstamo de bicicletas, que al final no es préstamo si no que se deben alquilar en el pueblo, también sería bueno en la descripción decir que los kayaks y paddles se alquilan por un precio extra

El desayuno me encantó. La ubicación es ideal ya que no sólo tienen la vista al la represa, sino también la bajada. Allí puedes disfrutar de nadar, caminar por el parque que tiene una vegetación extremadamente diversa, y hasta tomar clases de yoga con profesoras excelentes. Es un lugar maravilloso en la naturaleza y está a pocas cuadras del pueblo. Puedes descansar muy tranquila/o y las vistas son increíbles. Las dueñas son una Chimba!! :) Súper recomiendo este lugar encantador en Guatapé.

Prachtig gelegen en hele vriendelijke hosts. Super lekker ontbijt. Fijn om te kunnen zwemmen in het meer en heerlijke plek om voor het huisje te zitten en te liggen.

La casa Encuentro est un havre de paix, entouré d’une végétation magnifique et avec un accès au lac. Guatapé est à 10 min à pied. Les hôtes, deux sœurs, parlent anglais et fournissent plein infos.

Het huisje (: meer naar beneden op de helling) is een paradijsje. Katherine was een fantastische gastvrouw: behulpzaam indien nodig en zeer gastvrij! Bij haar zus een geweldige yogales gevolgd. Allerlei activiteiten voorradig of te regelen van daaruit (:yoga, kayakken, suppen, fietsen, bbq-en…)

Der Geheimtipp für alle, die ein bisschen Abstand vom ganzen Touritrubel wollen. Wunderschön erfrischendes Wasser mit eigenem Seezugang. Lagerfeuerstelle. Sehr gut ausgestattete Leseecke, mit kostenfreiem Wasser, Kühlschrank und sogar einem Wasserkocher für Gäste. Kurzum: ein Traum für Backpacker. Genügend Hängematten für alle Gäste, genug Platz im Garten um ungestört lesen zu können. Regelmäßige Sportangebote (Schwimmen, Yoga, Fitness...) Ein von starken Frauen geführter Familienbetrieb.

Dass ich das nächste Hotel schon gebucht hatte. Hier wäre ich nämlich gerne länger als 3 Nächte geblieben. ;)

De locatie is prachtig en het hotel heeft leuke faciliteiten zoals een gym en yoga ruimte.

Kamers zijn wat verouderd. De ramen hebben kieren waardoor er muggen naar binnen kunnen. De gastvrouw was bereikbaar via telefoon, maar vaak niet aanwezig op de locatie.

Las instalaciones estuvieron muy cómodas, con excelente vista al embalse, el personal fue muy cordial y atento. Nos ayudaron todo el tiempo para encontrar las mejores rutas de acceso, planes y restaurantes.

Très belle vue de la chambre. Hamac avec la vue. Mini frigo disponible. Propriétaire sympathique Possibilité de louer un kayak ou un paddle board. Nous avons loué un kayak, ça a ajouté un gros plus à notre expérience à Guatape

Plusieurs prises de courant ne fonctionnaient pas. Pas de lampe près du lit. Humidité de la chambre et minuscule salle de bain. Photos plus impressionnantes que l'endroit en réalité. Un peu cher pour ce que c est, mais nous avons tout de même apprécié l endroit.

Me hicieron sentir como en casa y me ofrecieron muchas actividades que pude aprovechar y hicieron que mi visita por guatape sea excepcional. Me sugirieron alquilar bici y pude hacer un recorrido por la montaña para ir hasta la piedra que fue hermoso! También me invitaron y acompañaron a nadar en aguas abiertas lo cual fue un placer! Me sentí muy cuidada por el personal y el equipo de natacion. Ademas el alojamiento estuvo muy limpio, lindo y con vista de ensueño.

Posto incantevole proprio di fronte all’acqua. In mezzo al verde, fiori e piante super curate e meravigliose. A 10 minuti a piedi dal centro (passeggiata piacevole che si può fare sia di giorno che di notte) - gestito da una famiglia di donne molto gentili, simpatiche e super disponibili. Tutto perfetto! Lo consiglio vivamente

Quedamos impresionados con las vistas desde la habitación hacia el lago y lo verde que era. El Wi-Fi no funcionaba , pero los encargados me aclararon que la electricidad no tiene la intensidad estable , por eso no había buena cobertura del wi-fi( para mi secundario)

This location was a dream! The staff was very attentive and the stay was extremely comfortable. Nathaly's yoga class was a great experience in nature. Overall, this was a wonderful overnight stay!

Super vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. De locatie is prachtig. We hebben een heerlijke tocht over het meer gemaakt met de sups. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De kamer was zeer betaalbaar en basic. Maar alles wat we nodig hadden.

Locatie aan het meer. Oase van rust. Nette kamers. We waren er maar één nachtje, had er best langer willen zijn.

Het was even 15 min naar boven lopen vanaf het centrum. Je kunt ook met taxi dwz tuktuk maar daar vroegen ze relatief veel geld voor.

the staff is very welcoming and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and big! And the Casa is very beautiful, a little bit outside city center (15min walking), which is good considering the noise in the center. Here is quiet.

Casa Encuentro is a beautiful place with a view to the lake and direct access to it, the place counts with a beauiful yoga shala and outdoor gym, it's very quiet and offers a lot of outdoor activities if you want to. The service is welcoming and friendly.

they don't have a kitchen or facilities to use if you need to eat your food... and the rooms could be a bit cozier.

Spectacular views and the open spaces. The beauty and decoration of the entire place. We really loved it. I highly recommend this place for those who love nature. The place is not too far away from town.

I liked everything

A comfortable and pretty bungalow in a serene setting with a stunning view.

The location is stunning with a lovely lake view. It is quiet with only nature around. The two ladies who run the place are very attentive and always there when you need them. The yoga sessions they deliver are very inclusive. Security is very good.

The room was on the small side.

Beautiful bungalow and private, it’s better than the pictures. The way there is a beautiful walk through nature. In eco lodges it is to be expected of insects and they are not harmful; that’s the charm. Bed very comfy, whole guesthouse including in the bungalow is well decorated! The sisters were very kind and helping to make our stay comfortable and letting us spend time in the hammock area since we had a late flight. We had hot shower too.

Despite a few hours in the evening where you can hear music from Guatapé it’s very quiet and calm. The surrounding nature is lovely and perfect to relax some days. We loved the fire place downstairs. Relaxing in the net at the balcony is amazing!

The furniture of the apartment is okay but not great. Bed very small for two and not really comfortable. If you want to use the water heater you need to fill up water using the shower which results in getting a little bit wet (a bit annoying). The WiFi didn’t work. It connects to the router but you don’t get any actual internet connection (in best case 1-2mbps which is pretty much like 0). You can’t close the freezer inside the fridge which results in all your stuff inside the fridge getting extremely cold or partly even will be frozen after one night.

Not many options for breakfast. But the host recommended us a very good place only 15mins away by foot.

The location is beautiful with great views and the room is really cute and comfy with a hammock on the terrace. There was a massive storm the day before so unfortunately the WiFi was down and there was some damage to the property which was really sad but the owners were lovely and super apologetic. It’s family run by two sisters and their mum who are all very friendly. I just loved the whole vibe of the place and wish I could have stayed longer as apparently they have activities like yoga classes which I’d have loved to join in for.

A very relaxing place. Beautiful surroundings and property, well decorated. Great views and lovely hammocks throughout. The grounds are beautiful, with exotic flowers and occasional hummingbird sittings outside my window. Great shower and a comfy bed. It’s well located a 5-10 min walk from the centre of Guatape, it’s also on a nice waking route which takes you through a beautiful winding road to a monasterial which is very peaceful and has great views. Katherine was always on hand via Watsapp and organised paddle boarding and gave great recommendations.

I loved that the location, was a bit away from town. Provided a more quiet area and a beautiful landscape to look at. The staff was phenomenal, helping us with every request. They can also help you to book excursions

View and cool cabins

Breakfast not available, no one here at check-in despite asking me when id arrive, no help locating the place, extra 5% fee added which hos t was argumentative about, very noisy with animals at night, disappointing overall.

The ecolodge is beautifully surrounded by the nature of Guatapé. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was good! The view from the bungalow was amazing and the net in front of the bungalow is great to relax with a view! You can also join yoga classes!

Nothing to mention! If you have difficulty walking the bungalow is a bit hard to reach.

This place is a piece of heaven on earth. I left with a full heart. I came the 1st time in November 2024 and I fell in love with the place so I come back 2 months later and I fell in love even more. - Let's start with the view that is just incredible. You can sit there for hours and just look at the landscape. The mariage of vegetation and the lack makes the place looking as a painting. The entire place is peaceful and relaxing and you are only a short walk from town if you want more craziness and activities. - Lodges are in the middle of vegetation which give you the impression of being one with the nature. The decoration made the place very authentic. My room was very comfy and I have plenty of space. I got a mini fridge (perfect for snacks). My room has also a private terrace with a view on the lack with a table and a hammock (perfect to chill and relax). I was worried about the room temperature at night but I even did not need to open the window actually. - There is a private access to the lack, which is perfect for a swim during the hot hours of the day. They also offer activities as yoga, kayak, hiking, massage... You can not get bored. - The breakfast is very generous and good. You don't need another meal until late afternoon. - Lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable even if my Spanish was very limited. Always happy to answer my questions. - The last but not the least was my meeting with Maria the owner and the creator of the place. She made my stay unforgettable with a her warmth. She made me feel as a family member. We did a firecamp, went to San Rafael, I met her lovely family... Being a solo traveler Maria took care of me as a daughter (I even don't speak Spanish hahaha). She so inspiring, as a human, as a woman, as an artist and as a nature lover. Don't miss her during your stay if you want to meet someone special. Thank you Casa Encuentro for being my new

-There is quite a trek down to the room, this is tough with luggage,though definitely worth it, however,you are able to leave your main luggage at the top and take down what you need. -We had no hot water throughout our stay, we told the receptionist but it wasn't fixed.

I like that it was a few minutes away from the commotion in the town … I also enjoyed the great view and delicious breakfast. In addition the staff was extremely friendly and helpful

The room wasn’t deep clean. The sink was dirty, there was a lot of insects and we found a living cockroach in the bed. It is extremely small, so that you don’t even have place to let the backpacks. The sink was in the room, near the bed. When someone flushed the toilet (even the neighbors) it came a very bad smell out of the drain of the sink into the room. Very uncomfortable. The hostel itself has a nice vibe and its good decorated, but it’s clear that everything its old, the doors are made out of paper and you can hear everything. Price it’s a bit too much for what you get. Overpriced for me.

Great location, only a 15 minute walk into Guatapé. Seeing the morning sun on the lake while enjoying a healthy and filling break every morning was beautiful. Loved the free hot water and coffee. Beds were also comfy and the dorm was spacious.

The property had a beautiful view overlooking the reservoir. The common hammock space was great for sunset viewing and sleeping was cool and quiet. There were shelves and lockers in the room for organizing stuff. The breakfast was extraordinary- best included breakfast we’ve had in Colombia!

Tiny bathroom, but water was hot!

We loved our stay at Casa Encuentro Ecolodge! We had a bungalow overlooking the lake with our own outside lounge net. The view was incredible, so beautiful to wake up to with a cup of tea. The bungalow was decorated very well with everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing - so fresh, delicious and lots of it. It was a really memorable stay.

Unfortunately when we stayed the road leading up to the Ecolodge was being dug up so no tuktuk’s could reach it. Just meant we had to carry our bags up the hill in the heat. Not the Ecolodges fault at all but a bit of warning would have been helpful.

It was amazing! One of the best stays I have ever had during my Colombia trip. It is located 10 minutes away from the town by walking. The hostel people are very hospitable. The place is so peaceful and you wake up with the bird sounds. The breakfast is served every morning and you have your breakfast with an incredible view. I don’t know what else to expect from a stay! Definitely I would like to come back if I have the opportunity!

The accommodation is just a short walking distance from town... easy to reach, safe area. The room was very clean and the stuff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent... various offer, changing every day! Shower with hot water! I would recommend thins quiet place!

We had a lovely stay here, it’s so nice and tranquil right by the lake but still walkable into town. The staff were lovely and we got a free upgrade to a better room which was great! The breakfast was also delicious and filling.

Awesome customer service, amazing views, great breakfast. Just 10 minutes walk to downtown. Very quiet area. Waking up with the birds and sleeping with the rain was so peaceful.

I stayed in the waterfront bungalow, which was amazing. I wish there would be more motion sensor lights on the way to the bungalow at night. Everything was great.

The hostel is near a lake, with lots of greenery around. But it is also only a 10 minute work away from the centre of Guatape. Therefore, I was able to make the best of both the tranquil nature and the city. The hostel staff, and the family associated with the hostel, are all very helpful, kind and warm. The family work hard because they want to create positive experiences for guests, and I believe they succeed in this regard. The hostel has a lovely outdoor yoga area. I used it to do yoga, qigong and meditation. I really appreciated being able to do these exercises while enjoying fresh air and nature at the same time. The hostel has delicious breakfasts. There is also variety with slightly different breakfasts each day. The hostel also provides coffee and tea all day. I appreciated this touch. If I return to Guatape then this hostel will be my first choice.

The hostel reception closes in the evening so this might be a problem for people arriving after-hours. To be clear, this was not a problem for me. If you do intend to arrive after-hours then I would advice communicating with the hostel staff in advance. In my experience, the hostel staff were all excellent at communication.

A nice place run by a nice family in a great location. Great view from the room. Loved starting the day with a swim in the lake. A nice space to do a workout by the lake (including something that can be used for pull ups). Enjoyed the Yoga they have on Sundays, and paddle boarding on the lake (can hire a paddle board here). Very tasty breakfast which was different every day. Nice and quiet at night. A short walk to the town. Loved it.
