The bathroom was a good size, and I really liked that the room had a microwave, coffee machine, table and refrigerator, which was a great plus. Check-in and check-out were both simple and quick. The location was also great—close to a good ice cream shop, a breakfast spot, and a brewery. The area was quiet as well, which made for a relaxing stay.

Room with connecting door was very easy to hear through. Only has 1 paper thin blanket on bed. First contact was with a young lady who not so kindly refused to check us in 50 minutes early. Not one hotel I’ve ever stayed at has done that.

The only thing we didn't like was that our stay was way too short! For the first time in forever I have ZERO complaints about this property!

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026I love the location of this facility. It is always clean and quiet. I like the location in a clean and safe area of Cherokee.
Th office states that someone is on duty 24 hours. However, during our last 2 visits that has proven to be inaccurate. A sign will be on the door stating someone will be back in 5 minutes and that turns into 30 minutes or hours. If they hire persons to work that shift then fulfill that statement. I find this is quite inaccurate. If you need a receipt you are totally out of luck in early morning hours.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026I loved the location, the cleanliness, and how quiet our room was. Additionally, upon checking out, the lady with the beautiful arm artwork was very pleasant and accommodating.
I did not care for the young man's attitude after finding my room was on the second floor. He claimed there was nothing he could do about it. (There was no one to assist with our bags and my husband and I are unable to lift luggage up a flight of steps. Fortunately, a young lady accommodated our request for a first floor room.

Unfortunately the casino is able to “house” their staff to stay here and their staff are rude. They came in after 1 am both nights and woke us up. I didn’t complain the first night but did on the second night. Then they decided to knock on our door and harass us after we complained. The nice lady working the night shift put us in another room to help. The casino has their own rooms and should “house” their employees at their property.

Mabel's (across the street) was really nice and a good price with good choices.
I missed having some kind of breakfast on site.
