Reviewed Aug 17, 2026The room was quite large and pleasant
The "restaurant" is a large canteen-like operation, which must be ordered at a counter and is then delivered to your table by an impersonal and unengaged employee. The prices matched any high-quality restaurant, however the food verged on inedible. It was an embarrassment to invite a friend to join us for dinner.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026The staff were genuinely friendly and courteous whenever we managed to speak with them. The room was clean, and the hotel has a pleasant, family-run atmosphere. Curracloe Beach is beautiful and well worth visiting, and the local community was exceptionally kind. On several occasions, local residents stopped to ask if we needed help, and some even offered us lifts. Wexford itself is a wonderful and welcoming place. The location is peaceful and ideal if your main purpose is to visit Curracloe Beach. However, it is best suited to guests travelling by car.
The room became very warm during our stay, and the small fan provided was not sufficient. The windows only open slightly, making it difficult to cool the room. Public transport in the area is also extremely limited. The kids' playing area is old and limited.
