Alles da, was man braucht. Mega toller Strand in der Nähe. Gute Lage und alles unkompliziert.
Feuchtigkeit und vermutlich Schimmel im Bad.
Fabulous stay. Very lovely and helpful owners. The WiFi went down across the county but the owners fixed it very quickly with a different solution. Really appreciated that to keep us online
Nothing
Quaint and quirky little cottage perfect for a self catering getaway not to everyone’s taste but our family loves it and we definitely be returning
Secure for dogs to roam outside. Everything you need for your stay. Thanks Sam
Great location, dog friendly, welcoming host. Nearby you have a great beach, lovely forest walks, one with a Waterfall
Facilities are OK, but need finishing off. Examples are some screws sticking out from kitchen cabinets. Also the map location is incorrect, meaning it's tricky to find. A little effort will help to elevate this venue.
Shower a bit tight
Comfy beds. Tea & coffee
All good
It was very close to Curracloe beach and Wexford town and the host was happy for us to arrive an hour early and let us know there was no rush to check out the following day. The host also met us at the property and was very friendly.
Let me preface this by saying I did not expect perfection but between the reviews and the score, things didn’t align and I would’ve liked to have known this before booking. On the smaller side there was aesthetic issues such as the grass hadn’t been cut for a while, there was significant cob webs in the windows inside, between furniture and above the beds. There was also coffee stains outside of some of the cups. The floor was also very dirty and those of us that hadn’t brought slippers, had to throw out our socks. For full disclosure, I’m aware this is a dog friendly property but we did not bring a dog and there was a significant amount of dust, dirt and dog hair on our socks. I own a dog and understand how dog hair gets everywhere so when I’m telling you it was an issue, I’m speaking from experience. There was also a bug in our bed, which can happen, the house is in a countryside location but when you tie in the rest of the cleanliness issues, it gave concern. I had checked with the host during the week about arriving an hour early and was assured it was not an issue but she reported that she was rushing cleaning it when we arrived. The host had told us that she was trying to put money back into the property but there was serious concerns (and some smaller ones that could have be fixed cheaper) and there was no evidence of recent attempts to fix issues. There were gaps between many electrical plugs and sockets and the walls (pretty hefty safety concern), and there had clearly been a job done to make a bathroom but the result was a small bathroom that smelled of mould and a gap between that wall and the ceiling into the small bedroom. There was significant holes in the ceiling that had been covered a while ago with either masking tape that was peeling off and one cover attempt was done with a piece of fake ivy.
Good Location, nice and spacious. Friendly host. Dog friendly🐶😍
Would've liked to know that there was dogs on site, maybe a closed off area for dogs
Warm and friendly welcome, plenty of space, quiet location, well supplied stove and comfy sofa.
Bed was sooo comfy, and the stove made the living room so cosy.
Listen anyone can nitpick and find fault. It is genuinely a work in progress.
Amazing location, really spacious, very dog friendly, lovely garden. The beds were comfy. Highlights were the stove and the kitchen was great. Really quirky and cosy.
No breakfast included. Although coffee nespresso, tea and kit Kay’s provided by host. Nice touch. We liked the spacious living room , comfortable sofas and the decor and especially the wood burning fire. Cute kettle and toaster. There was even an air fryer we used to heat our food. Host very friendly without being obtrusive.
We liked everything. Only thing , second bedroom and bathroom rather small but functional .
Vse super bilo nam je vsec
Edina slabost je bil kavc za spanje. Rahlo neudoben.
So quite and comfy a lovely wood burner ready to go on arrival and enough for the two nights we booked. Very quirky has everything you could possibly need for a staycation. Bed very comfortable . Sam is very helpful and very kind host. We had our hairy baby with us and she was very welcome too . The property still needs a little work here and there but well on its way and we had a great stay and will be back soon . Thanks to our super hostess Sam x
Quirky, Cute, Dinky!!!! Loved this place 🏡💝🏠 easily sleeps 5 plus dog or dogs. My dogs were very welcome They loved the place We enjoyed the garden, it is huge and enclosed and gated. Very close to Curracloe village. Enjoyed the beaches, from both ends. And the raven forest which is also very doggy friendly! The pub is not doggy friendly and even has a sign to say they! Don’t be put off! The pub is fab! Read all the memorabilia! My dogs met the locals and many dubs at the chipper hatch! The house is AMAZING ! It literally has everything and MORE
Can’t think of anything! Maybe a few cobwebs! That just adds to the charm! A tiny bit darker than the city! Bring a torch
Nice and quiet
My niece, nephew and I had a great one-night stay at Sam’s place. She was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. Her hospitality really stood out — it felt like staying with a friend! The place itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing night, Sam even brought us an extra set of pillows in case we needed them. Even though a short stay, it was a really positive experience. We'd definitely come back and would recommend her place to anyone looking for a warm and easy stay right in the heart of Curracloe!
Gorgeous property in a wonderful location , the owner was really lovely
Okolie a ticho
Wonderful Host Our perfect Location So close to Curracloe Village and the nicest Beach in Ireland. So quiet and peaceful Spacious living area with everything you need to cook, clean, washing machine. Comfy beds.
Everything was perfect
The location was perfect (car is required) and the host is lovely (as are the family who live close by.) The cottage is lovely with plenty of outdoor space for children and pets.
While all the facilities were present and the decoration is lovely, the cleaner who completed the work following the last guests could have done a better job.
We could not stay at this property. My friends and I arrived and were shocked at the appearance of the outside. Kids bikes thrown every where and it looked run down. We went into the house and there was a terrible smell, musty, or like wet carpets type smell. My friend had to use the toilet and the toilet seat popped off. The kitchen floor was filthy and everywhere had an appearance of not being clean. The small bedroom is not for anyone who is claustrophobic - it is tiny and dark. There was no instructions on how to work anything - like heat (which I don't think there was any) We booked into the local hotel. I messaged the property and they were not helpful No refund was issued either Booking.com should not be listing this property as it is not up to their standard
It was a perfect getaway for a week with family and it was perfect for my dog moby, highly recommend it to anyone who wants to bring there furry friends with them, also it was very close to hotel curracloe and to curracloe beach which is about 1km away, overall a fantastic place to stay and unwind and relax😃
The host was very nice to us and they had lovely dogs the house was very clean
5 min drive from the beach. Excellent location.
Quirky, lovingly designed if a bit improvised place that the owner is still working on. Well stocked with kitchen utilities (airfryer, oven, fridge with medium-sized freezer compartment) and supplies (salt, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, cleaning utensils). Spacious open plan main room with kitchen/dining and lounge area. Lovely, cosy sitting area with fireplace stocked with logs, lighting materials, and coal and blankets to cuddle up in. Masterbedroom with queen bed and very small single room our son found nice and cosy. Very comfy beds and lovely surroundings and bird song in the mornings. Very dog friendly with owners' dogs on the other half of the property. Conveniently located for gorgeous Curracloe Beach and short drive to Wexford town, Heritage Park, and lots of great places around Counties Wexford and Wicklow! We'll definitely be back for a longer stay!
Loved it
As sam said it is work in progress and it was perfect us. We really enjoyed our stay with 2 children and 2 dogs. It's close to the gorgeous beachs and only a 15 minute drive to the lovely town of wexford. Definitely perfect dog friendly stay. Thank you sam. We will definitely be back.
Very close to the beach. Spacious property. We brought our dog along.
Sam is a very friendly and thoughtful host.

Everything was beyond perfect, kitchen , bathroom and bedrooms were beyond well equipped with everything you might need. The host was very helpful and contact with her was very easy. Will definitely be back and would recommend.
This place is large and very comfortable, everything you would need, including coffee machine, air fryer, constant hot water to do dishes, tea coffee sugar logs for the fire and the host left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Very near the breathtaking curracloe beach, a few minutes drive away, there is also a wild bird sanctuary within a short walk. The host is a very kind and nice woman, extremely helpful, responded very quickly to any questions we had, I have to say she is an exceptionally good person and her children are a credit to her. I would stay there again, no problem, she even had an electric blanket for my bed, very thoughtful of her, the area is quite, real irish countryside, a little hidden gem a short drive from wexford town, would love to stay in the summer time but saying that we had some beautiful sunny days, I guess we were lucky as it was February.
Sam, the host, was amazing. The house was very warm and cozy, and it had everything you would need. It was close to everything, the beach, the natural reservoir... Just the perfect location for us. If we go back to Wexford we'll definitely book with her again.
Great stay, super friendly owner, really helpful super pleasant stay. Great place to get anywhere by car.the dog loved it.
We had a great time staying here for the long weekend. The place is bigger than we expected and has everything you could need. The host was lovely and very accommodating. Although it doesn’t have heating yet the fire heated the whole place they also provided a gas heater so don’t let this put you off! The location great, less than a five minute five to the beach and twenty minutes from city. It was perfect for a long weekend and we will definitely be back
location near beach, allowed dogs, spacious except for bathroom
In a bad state of repair, unfinished plasterwork, badly done electrical installation , unfinished driveway, badly finished architraves around doors; no heating except solid fuel stove, gas superser offered which is a health hazard when used indoors;as a retired builder I notice these things
The location between Wexford town and Curracloe beach.
The accommodation felt makeshift and unfinished if I'm honest but it was comfortable on the pull out bed. The single bed room felt like it was a potential hazard. The host was friendly and helpful.
This place is in a lovely remote town, on a large site shared with the owner. Spacious, nice living room dining room with a small kitchen space. The sofas are extremely comfortable and can be used as beds. There is a large double room and a very small box room also.
The accomodation was not finished yet and is still in the process of being refurbished. When it is finished it will be lovely.
It was quirky and it's so close to Curracloe. It's also very private and very peaceful. Sam was brilliant from the start and made us and our little girl feel at home. WiFi was brilliant...great for working people
Nothing I didnt like 😃
