Wir haben eine Suite gebucht. Diese Suite hatte entgegen der Abbildungen nur ein kleines Fenster in der Innenraum der Eingangshalle. Es war fürchterlich eng und dunkel. Auf unsere Anfrage das Zimmer zu wechseln wurde mit den Schultern gezuckt, es wäre ja nur für eine Nacht. Als wir sagten dann kommen wir wahrscheinlich nicht wieder wurde erwidert. Tja dann ist das so. Es gibt mehrere Suiten mit dieser Lage laut Rettungsplan an der Tür. Das Frühstück war nicht überwältigend. Die Tische klebten sehr. Auch hier kaum Tageslicht. Es gibt bessere Alternativen. Wir sind jedes Jahr 6 Übernachtungen in Bodö. Diesmal waren alle anderen Optionen wegen eines Festivals bereits ausgebucht.

non si poteva spegnere l'aria condizionata, avevamo freddo. La finestra della camera dava verso la hall dell'albergo. Niente aria aperta. Quindi si ha un pò una sensazione claustrofobica. Solo parcheggio pubblico a pagamento.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Ideaal gelegen hotel aan het water op wandelafstand van cafés en restaurants en slechts een paar minuten rijden van de ferry terminal, super vriendelijke ontvangst, ruime kamer en badkamer, zeer goed bed, lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. De parkeergarage (betalend) is wel wat verwijderd van het hotel.

Het restaurant voor het avond eten. Je moet met een QR code of aan de bar bestellen.

Ravintolan huonepalvelu. Tilasimme netissä ravintolasta ruoan noudettavaksi ja saimme ilmoituksen että tilaus on hyväksytty, tilausnumeron ja kellonajan tilauksen valmistumisesta. Odotimme pitkään arvioidun valmistumisajan jälkeen ennen kuin soitimme ravintolaan. Saimme epämääräisen vastauksen että tilauksemme ei ollut mennyt jostain syystä läpi. Teimme puhelimitse uuden tilauksen ja ravintolasta sanottiin että meihin ollaan yhteydessä kun tilaus on valmis. Soittoa ei ikinä kuulunut ja menimme lopulta kysymään tilausta itse ravintolasta. Tilaus oli odottanut tiskillä valmiina ja ruoka oli jo jäähtynyt kun pääsimme syömään sitä huoneeseen. Hotelli itsessään oli todella viihtyisä mutta tämä teki vierailusta huonon kokemuksen. Olimme matkustaneet koko päivän ja koska olimme niin nälkäisiä päätimme siksi tilata huonepalvelusta. Kuitenkin ruuan saamiseen meni lopulta useampi tunti.

Ombrelli a disposizione degli ospiti. Arredo molto colorato ma di buon gusto. Letto comodo, climatizzazione perfetta, tende oscuranti. Accappatoi a disposizione. Macchina Nespresso e ferro da stiro in camera.

We asked to leave our bags as we would be staying at the hotel a few days later, and were offered this courtesy, as well as tea/coffee, and a note (on our room reservation for when we returned. Which we did. Do note: to walk from the airport, cross the street at the light / crosswalk. Proceed straight into the residential neighborhood. Walk on the sidewalk towards the water front. Turn right and you are at the hotel. It's quite easy if you travel light. We did of course fly back via Bodo and stayed at the Nordlys. Everything was nice and modern in the room. Breakfast (as typical of Thon hotels) was lovely. Everyone quite helpful at the front desk as to getting around and recommendations. Thanks for the hospitality!

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Central location right at the small harbour front, with a great view on the boats and the polar day skies after midnight. Comfortable beds, good and fully equipped bathroom, large flatscreen TV. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of food.
Even though the hotel promised parking on site, we were advised to park on street or in an adjacent small public parking lot (350 NOK per night). Windows in the room could have been cleaner to enjoy the harbour view more.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026Waterfront location overlooks the marina with beautiful views of the boats and sea. 12 minute walk from the airport and 7 minute to the ferry terminal. Room is modern, clean, and well designed. Typical Scandinavian size but makes excellent use of the space. Convenient outlets, well planned lighting, a rain shower, and a very comfortable bed made the stay easy and relaxing. The room was also quiet, with excellent blackout curtains for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was the highlight. The selection went beyond the usual buffet. Fresh smoothies, Japanese okonomiyaki, shakshuka, sautéed mushrooms, and Nespresso cappuccinos were all excellent. With its stylish rooms, peaceful setting, and exceptional breakfast, Thon Hotel Nordlys is highly recommended.

Bei der Zimmerzuteilung waren wir irritiert, dass wir kein Zimmer mit Meersicht erhalten konnten, obwohl wir das Zimmer Monate zum Voraus buchten.

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026Martin war sehr zuvorkommend an der Rezeption. Sehr gutes Frühstück, einzig die Tische sind klebrig. Gute Lage, direkt in der Innenstadt, obwohl Bodø nicht wirklich viel hergibt.
Preis-Leistung zu teuer. Einrichtung des Frühstücksraums gibt Kantinenstimmung wieder. Keine Sauna.
