Ômage Hotel, Montreal Laval, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We would have liked the breakfast to be included with the reservation

Excellent service from the front desk, housekeeping folks, and the restaurant

None

Rien

walls are thin you will get constant noise complaints for simply talking.

dirty rats everywhere

In town for the F1 race. Easy to drive and park, away from the chaos downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

There is much to like about the hotel. Bright, and well lit all around; and professional and courteous staff. My room was well laid out, with plenty of space to move around. Also, lots of surfaces to use. Some nice touches including the coffee setup, and - interestingly - the toilet paper holder! However, some letdowns. The air conditioning in the room sounds like a jet on takeoff. And the breakfast buffet could offer better variety. The Omage is the nicest hotel in the Laval area, and I shall return.

I liked the cleanliness, and breakfast was the best part of the stay.

No paper towel in the room, had to buy some.

Spaciousness

Wasn’t aware its under construction

La chambre , la salle de bain

Forte odeur de térébenthine (peinture)

Belles rénos. Super goût. Douche immense. Lit confortable.

Quel vacarme.

Access to a newspaper stand would be great. Hotel under construction outdoors; however, very comfortable and cozy indoors.

It was fine. Good location for what we came to do. Staff was polite but not overly welcoming. Room was ok, could have used a bit more attention to detail in cleanliness (dust and stains).

No mention anywhere (on booking.com or main site) that there is construction. Had a very disappointed kiddo who couldn't use the pool and I had chosen this hotel because it had a pool.

The building is under construction. Strong wood work smell. Most importantly there was very heavy walking running all day above our room. We had to call the reception to complained at 1:30 AM as we couldn't sleep. Finally around 2:30 we got tired and slept after they calmed down.

Its ok, but we dont’t expect that they are on renovation so the ground floor was not presentable when we got inside the lobby

There was undisclosed construction going on, only one functional elevator. The pillows were way too soft. Inroom issues - AC system was very loud, lots of vibration felt in pillow. The alarm clock wasn’t checked and woke us up at 5am on our one night stay. The bathroom fan was supremely loud. Overall just not even close to the last time we stayed here.

Construction woke us up earlier than we would have liked. Despite requesting, no compensation was given for this inconvenience.

Great staff and well maintained hotel

The young lady at the reception was really helpful in accommodating us for our slightly earlier arrival by assigning us a quiet room on the main floor.

The breakfast was so so. The offering was a bit outdated. Those dreaded scrambled eggs were not up to par with the real stuff.

We initially got a room the toilet didn’t flush and the whole room smelt musty almost moldy. We called and they transferred us to an upgraded room immediately. We were very great full and they also didn’t bother us during check out which is also appreciated as we were running late

The property is very nice and clean staff are very friendly

Our biggest inconvenience was the ice maker on our floor (6) was difficult to engage. You really had to push hard to get the cubes to flow. Other than that, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. The on site snack selection was phenomenal.

Good hotel. Outside Montreal but need an Uber taxi to get into city. Not in walking distance of Metro. Standard double beds. Spacious room. Traditional style decor. AC and Fridge. Pool and towels provided. Free parking and lots of spaces.

I will never go back

Close to everything. Even though renovations were going on everything was neat and tidy

We had a renovated room, it was lovely, very clean.

The dispensers were empty for the 2 days I was there. The response time with towels wasn’t met to expectations and the room was dated

Great service from beginning to end.

The swimming pool was nice.

The website says that the breakfast was included and finally it wasn't. You can go and take breakfast outside but wasn't ideal on this trip, so we have to pay a ridiculous overpriced breakfast with a super slow service. The room was ok, but the 25 years old AC Unit was way too loud. No very impressed at the Hilton, for $290 the night for 2 beds, for acomodate a family of 4.

Very clean. Roomy.

Nothing.

The bed was comfy

I feel like for the price it should include breakfast, it was not cheap and breakfast was not included, that was disappointed

Not enough toilet paper

Propre

Close to the mall

Piscine excellente temperature pour toute la famille. Propre. Service parfait.

Amazing room! One of the best I've stayed in. A real kitchen, huge bathroom (with jet tub!!), a separate sleeping area, giant TV and comfortable sofa, wow! Also, the best check-in and check-out. Very fast, friendly and efficient. When I arrived, I just showed my credit card, my driver's licence, and I got my key. When I left, I just had to hand in the key. No questions asked, no long conversations. All hotels should work like that.

I'm only mentioning this as a personal preference, because the bathroom was flawless. I wish there had been a way to increase the water pressure in the shower. Similar to the one in gyms, so the soap washes off super well. But if I go back there and the water pressure is increased, I might not want to leave, so maybe it's better to keep the pressure as is.

I enjoyed my stay and good location

Belle chambre

Great location! It's right near Carrefour Laval and Centropolis. Parking was a breeze, and the staff was kind and helpful. The bed was comfy, and I was extra grateful for pillows that weren't giant fluff balls! I'm a flat pillow kind of person, and hotels always get me.

The hotel is very tired. Everything about it screams time for a massive renovation and an upgrade. All the drains in the washroom were 95% clogged, the fan was really loud, and shower pressure and soundproofing nonexistent. (I do hope that the baby next door is feeling better; toothaches are the worst, poor thing). It's sadly lacking in amenities and little things that make life comfortable. I travel a lot and have to admit I was surprised to find that some hotels still charge for water ($6, no less!).

The room old furniture and humid, moldy smells of like diesel. I have allergies and whole night was terrible
