My friend and I needed a place to decompress, given the situation we are in, as well as his own health challenges. I had a totally different choice but he convinced me to join him at the One & Only Royal Mirage due to its prestige as one of the OGs of Dubai's upscale hotel brands. We were given a notification that we could check in before noon so we aimed to be there at 11:00am. However, our room was not ready so we waited a little bit. There was an area with beverages and small bites, which was a welcome treat. The staff were warm and friendly, especially the Asian man (I failed to get his name but he looked like he was SouthEast Asian) The property is not overly huge, but what was wonderful was it was divided into smaller areas (Palace, Arabian Court and Residence) which gave it a cozier, more intimate feel. To fill in our time, we asked for advise on how to go to one of the malls at The Palm and was directed to take the buggy to the monorail. It was a bit messy, as the buggy driver had to pick up other guests somewhere but didn't really explain to us why there was a bit of a wait since he was not fluent in English. Finally, we arrived at the monorail station only to find out that it was closed... and that it was closed for the last 2-3 months. That detail should have been told us by the staff at the reception. But that was the only hiccup in the entire stay. Our room was fairly well sized, with two queen sized beds, a coffee maker (Nespresso... a nice touch). The TV was a little on the small side but no issue there. The bathroom had a tub, but had a separate shower. His and hers sink was well appreciated. The toiletries were made from a local brand, Montroi. The pool was not too crowded but that was probably because I went there an hour before closing. The gym was well equipped and the staff were amazing. Access to the sauna and steam room gave me a total relaxing cool down. Breakfast was decent, with both decadent and healthy options. It was nice to start the day with the bright and sunny Hakima and Phoo welcoming you and the all-smiling man at the egg station making your special plate. Checkout was a breeze.
Amazing resort. Location, cleanliness, views, services, professionalism, quality of food...ALL Amazing and second to none. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for your hospitality
Super courteous when the hotel was empty. Restaurant and pool staff remained very friendly and efficient as they could be as things got busier. Clearly the hotel had been overbooked as we were hounded by constant calls from the front desk trying to make us check out early, despite having agreed a late check out when we checked in. Front desk then denied ever having made the agreement. Even the promised pool pass, offered as an apology, never arrived in my email. Disingenuous. Took the shine of what was already an extremely expensive(£1000+) 48 hour staycation. Not value for money and a mistake that won’t be repeated.
It was a very good stay. Special thanks to Sanoop Sadan who made our experience very nice and memorable. So many gestures that everyone appreciated so much. Would definitely come back
In spite of the current conflict with Iran, as usual had an absolutely wonderful time and everything open although very quiet. All staff were all superb, caring and professional. No need for anyone to be nervous about going and prices are much lower at the moment. Omar the chef organised a superb simple evening meal which was not the usual TV chef type stuff one finds on so-called up-market menus.
We stayed at Arabian Court but every morning we walked to Celebrities for breakfast, and it quickly became the best part of our day. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food quality was excellent, and the whole team was very welcoming. We would especially like to mention Dilki, who made our mornings truly special. She always greeted us with a lovely smile and such a positive attitude. During a stressful time, her kindness, calm personality, and friendly conversations made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Every day she checked on us, shared stories, and made sure we started the day with a smile. It was clear that she genuinely cares about the guests and loves what she does. Thank you to the whole team at Celebrities for the wonderful service, and a special thank you to Dilki for making our breakfasts so memorable. We hope to come back again soon.
We have just spent a wonderful week at the One and Only Royal Mirage in Dubai. The hotel and grounds were marvellous, the food was brilliant, and the staff were always efficient, kind, and cheerful. Especially during the challenges of the week, we felt so safe and truly looked after. We can’t recommend it enough. This is our second visit .
Great find, for the past 30 years we have visited Dubai nearly every year, for about 25 of those years we stayed at the Jumeira Beach Hotel but about 6 years ago it stared to decline rapidly and totally lost it's high class edge and we looked for an alternative. We tried several hotels including the Atlantis (Americanised, trashy, fast food), the Jumeirah Al Naseem (soul-less) and here One&Only Royal Mirage. The One&Only is exceptional, the restaurant choices are streets ahead of the Jumeirah Beach, especially the Celebrities restaurant for adult only breakfast where the choice is smaller than the large buffet breakfast but such high quality food. The pool area is refined and quiet, the club lounge for the club rooms is excellent. Our number one choice for us in Dubai now.
This is a wonderful hotel. The room we had was excellent. Breakfast was very good indeed and the service throughout can’t be faulted. We also really enjoyed the pool area. We didn’t eat in the grounds (apart from breakfast) so can’t comment.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server Min Hein was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Great experience overall — we’ll definitely be back!
I stayed in this hotel for 1 night and did a deposit of 1000 dhs that suppose to be back in my account 7 days after check out but it did not happend, so I contacted them to ask for my money back but they said that I have to wait 15 days for the bank to do the reimbursement, they always said that they have to transfer me to another department which never was available, they asked me.to wait for a call back or email that never received. After several calls I requested for manager Willie who did the process that should have been done when i checked out to reléase the money, he said to wait again 15 days to get my money back in my account but so far I still not have my money. This Issue has completely messed up the experience and dont know why I still have to deal with this headache after 3 months of staying there. Im totally upset and pissed off
Hospitality is not about tasks or routines. It’s about connection. And Dilki (Asian girl) creates that connection effortlessly. We met Dilki at both Celebrities and the Pool Bar, and honestly, I have never experienced this level of care before. The Pool Bar was very busy, yet she never made us feel rushed or forgotten. Instead, she kindly asked us to wait, kept checking on us, and then surprised us with the most beautiful table — all done calmly, gracefully, and without any pressure. That moment alone showed her true professionalism. As a lady, seeing how hard she works is truly inspiring. Always polite, always smiling, always attentive — even during the busiest hours. She balances two outlets with such confidence and warmth, and it shows how much pride she takes in what she does. This is not just service. This is dedication. This is hospitality at its finest. People may forget the food or the view one day but they will never forget how Dilki made them feel. One of the strongest, kindest, and most genuine team members I’ve ever met. Celebrities and Pool Bar are lucky to have her.
Some people do their job well. Some people do their job with heart. Dilki does it with soul. From the very first hello, she didn’t make us feel like guests walking into a Celebrities restaurant she made us feel like we belonged there. Her warmth wasn’t loud or dramatic; it was gentle, genuine, and deeply comforting. The kind that stays with you long after you leave. There was a quiet magic in the way Dilki served us. No rushing, no pressure just a calm presence, a kind smile, and an unspoken understanding of exactly what we needed. At one point, I caught myself smiling for no reason at all simply because of the energy she brought to the table. What touched me most was how human she felt in a space that can often feel routine. Every small gesture carried meaning. Every interaction felt real. It’s rare to meet someone who turns a normal day into a warm memory without even trying. We came for food. We left with a feeling. And that feeling had Dilki’s name written all over it.
ijaz is a goood trainer,he gives me helpful exercises and learn a bit of boxing, and amazing gym , good 5 star standard
Our stay at the One and Only Residence was exceptional. Our host Syed, made our stay special as nothing was too much trouble. The Residence is very elegant and tranquil. All the staff were very much on point, professional and very attentive. Chilled out luxury.
Whenever I am in Dubai I always make time for a royal hammam in the One & Only Spa. The service is impeccable and I feel completely rejuvenated after the treatment. Great service and totally authentic hammam experience.
We had a wonderful stay at One&Only Royal Mirage, but what truly made our experience unforgettable was Dilki at Celebrities Breakfast Restaurant. During our 7-night stay, she greeted us every morning with the same beautiful smile and positive energy. She remembered our tea and coffee preferences, ensured our breakfast was always perfect, and made us feel genuinely cared for. Her special breakfast energy drinks were a daily highlight. We also saw her working at the pool bar the same warmth and enthusiasm never faded. Because of her, breakfast became something we truly looked forward to. We are already planning to return next April, and one of the main reasons is to see Dilki again. She is a true gem and a perfect example of heartfelt hospitality.
It’s full of grotty people living in dubai on cheap day passes behaving terribly - nabbing all the sun beds at 8am, talking loudly about their Turkish bum lifts on phones, playing iPads on full vol, generally grabby and rude behaviour. Long queues for meals and the tiny gyms full of day pass people too. No longer a luxury hotel it’s a free for all
Visiting this place for the first time. It was incredible starting from the staff showing us around . The food was amazing. We had peach ale and sand dune sunset paired with smoked chicken quesadillas. The menu presentation was nice and not forgetting the attention to detail . Thanks to the amazing staff ( Francine and Albin)for the wonderful experience. Definitely coming back .
A great trip and a lovely team of people a big shout out to Shubham for being so attentive and friendly
Beautiful hotel excellent food, friendly staff…. Special thanks to Nishad from Eau zone for your excellend en very kind service!
Beautiful hotel , with style, good service. The pool garden is incredible , the breakfast is fantastic with the best service by Mr. Denzel. Thank you :-) The room will soon need a renovation and the key card is old school. But still a nice hotel that need a visit
We had a very lovely stay , everything was perfect . Also enjoyed third party Services within hotel such as Hydro Elite , who helped us to arrange an amazing buggy tour in the desert , thanks to Fares who personally made sure that we had all as we wished .
A beautiful hotel, from check in to checkout, the staff were amazing. We had the half board option and this was great, celebrities restaurant for breakfast was amazing. The staff at the swimming pool were helpful. We had afternoon tea in the Arabian Court which was fantastic. I can’t wait to return.
Amazing food and even better service! The entire team was so friendly. Shoutout to Nihar and Ajay for the fantastic hospitality. Highly recommend BBG to everyone!
Dubai is of course completely bonkers (in a good way) but this resort is an oasis set in the heart of it all. Contrary to most buildings this is a low rise, 5 floors, gentle building with beautiful grounds which includes the pools gardens and beach. Very relaxing, hidden away adjacent to the Marina skyscrapers. Ps the restaurants are very good too
Our stay at One&Only Royal Mirage – Residence side was absolutely flawless from beginning to end. Everything was truly perfect, beautiful, and spot on in every detail. The atmosphere was serene and luxurious, the grounds were immaculate, and the level of service exceeded all expectations. A special thank you to Abdur from housekeeping, who kept our rooms in pristine condition throughout our stay, his attention to detail and consistency were exceptional and did not go unnoticed. We also want to recognize Syed, who accommodated everything we needed immediately and with such professionalism and warmth. Every request was handled seamlessly, making our experience effortless and incredibly enjoyable. This stay felt special in every way, and we cannot wait to return
We had such an amazing stay at The One and Only Royal Mirage! If you’re searching for a truly special getaway, this is absolutely the place to choose. We stayed on the Residence side, which I highly recommend, especially after exploring the other two properties. The Residence team is composed of some of the warmest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. Syed, Cosmas, Akshay, and Ashwin made our experience not just wonderful but truly memorable. Their incredible attention to detail is unmatched, and thanks to these wonderful individuals on the Residence team, we can't wait to return!
We will definitely return. We have found the hotel staff particularly helpful, especially Akhil and his team around the pool. Our beds were prepared for us daily, plenty of water and refreshing fruit handed out and overall very attentive service without being too intrusive.
I have stayed at The One & Only Royal Mirage on many different occasions, and every single visit has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you arrive, the level of service is outstanding, warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely personal. The staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure every stay feels special, effortless, and memorable. The resort itself is beautiful and timeless, with immaculate grounds, stunning beachfront, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to completely relax. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the dining options are excellent, and every detail is maintained to the highest standard. What truly sets the Royal Mirage apart is its consistency. No matter how many times I return, the quality of service never drops, it remains world-class every single time. This is a hotel I return to with complete confidence, knowing the experience will always be flawless. An iconic Dubai resort that continues to exceed expectations, and one I highly recommend.
We had an amazing stay at one & only .The team was great specially housekeeping Dev & Sarada.Specially sarada an exceptional housekeeper who is very passionate & professional & made our stay memorable.would come back again for sure.
We had a wonderful holidays at royal Mirage, special gratitude to housekeeping Dev & Sarada.Sarada an exceptional lady who has real passion about hospitality.very professional, friendly, helpful with everything.Thank you for great service.definitely will be back…
Akhil has always run the pool service with such care and professionalism. Lovely experience at the Arabian court
The most stunning hotel fantastic facilities, breakfast in Celebrities restaurant was the best I’ve had in Dubai Staff are so friendly and attentive, loved the Christmas surprises including a stocking on my door just brilliant
Big places and resorts are normally not my cup of tea but this place manages to give you a very personal approach with attention for detail. From the moment you enter till the moment you leave you feel relaxed because of the outstanding service of the staff. Special recommendation for Ms. Sajina at breakfast who manages to "read the room", is next to you before you start looking for some coffee or to order your eggs. Exceptional service from her makes you wake up to challenge the day with a smile.
we stayed with family the hotel was wonderful, staff very friendly and helpful. everywhere clean and tidy
This was our first trip back to Dubai for some time however the O&O Royal Mirage did not fail to impress. Its old school discreet luxury made for a relaxing stay whilst its great location meant we were also able to enjoy the glitz that is available nearby. We would definitely recommend and return.
Not a bad location and equipment. As it is an extremely big hotel I must realise that service is suffer due to that. Nirmal Amarasooriya made us wait check -in during 1,5 hours in the midnight owing to the room wasn’t still ready.
Amazing hotel with beautiful landscape and very picturesque architecture What stood out was the staff throughout the resort. Huge shoutout to cameron Rodrigues right from the time we entered till we checked out he had a smile on his face and willingness to make it feel like home Also Vivek and Ara(sorry if the name is spelled incorrectly)at the operator made life easy for being just one call away at all times Keep it up All the best
We have just spent the last 11 nights at One&Only Royal Mirage – Arabian Court, and after visiting this hotel 27 times, we can confidently say it is truly back to its former glory. The service throughout our stay was absolutely impeccable. The rooms are beautiful—spacious, elegant, and even nicer and larger than those at the Palace. The resort is also becoming more family-friendly, with a pool slide and poolside games, which is a fantastic addition without losing the hotel’s refined atmosphere. Dining was a highlight, particularly at Olives Restaurant. Managers Cristina and Naveed ran everything flawlessly. Chef Mouhsin created amazing pizzas and pastas. Albin and Justin provided excellent, attentive service. And a special mention to Executive Chef Sahoo, whose incredible talent really shines through the menu. Esther has the most amazing smile that greets you . At the Rotisserie Restaurant, the Wednesday Indian Night is an absolute treat. Chef Alladin delivered outstanding dishes. Binod, the manager, ensured everything ran smoothly and professionally. The personal service across the resort was exceptional: Pradeep, and Daisy from Guest Experience truly couldn’t do enough for us. Krishna at the Palace front desk was fantastic at booking anything we needed and offering great advice on what to do. Kapil and Akhil, managers at the Arabian Court poolside, always greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed to start the day perfectly. Finally, the influence of Arabian Court Resort Manager, Mohamed Shawky is evident throughout the hotel. He has achieved the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine warmth, and it shows in every aspect of the guest experience. We are lucky to have travelled widely, and we can honestly say this hotel is truly special. We can’t wait to return again.
We spent our days at the Al Janoub Pool, a great place for Adults only. Sherif and his team were great always on hand to provide service and assistance for anything you needed. A few little gems such as cleaning of glasses and a cold towel are just a few of the secrets of this area which just appear at the right time. Clean and tidy constantly no matter when you arrive. Polite and professional without exception. We enjoyed this space and would be our preferred location for a lazy day in the sun away from the crowded main pool at the One&Only Palace.
Here we are again, love this place, changed over the years but still a little Oasis in the ever growing skyscraper city. Superb staff throughout and a big shout out for Princess in Olives, a very friendly young lady a long way from her home country and like her colleagues, an asset to the hotel.
Amazing Hotel with super friendly staff especially Front Office Manager Willy Manche and Housekeeper Manoj who made our stay even more enjoyable in superior comfort
We had a great time! First we had a small room not appropriate to add an extra bed for our child but when requested, the staff kindly found a larger room for us. We loved every aspect of the hotel, from its unique charm comparing to other large and more expensive hotels we visted there (more like factories) to the room and the food. The breakfast is great. The location is very good as well. We highly recommend it.
We’ve just arrived home from a wonderful trip at the One and Only Mirage- Arabian Court. The property and rooms were undeniably immaculate, but the hotel’s greatest asset are the staff. They are genuine and personable without being overbearing. My son has a gluten and dairy intolerance and staff went out of their way to ensure he had multiple options to enjoy through our trip. A big thanks to the team at the Rotisserie: Zelenday, Binod, Chef Aladdin, Karajah, Ahmed and Aneesa- you all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. Thanks also to the brilliant housekeeping team, especially Gulam. We look forward to visiting again. Mrs A.
A disappointing stop over on the way home from the Maldives. We have stayed here twice previously, but before completion of the palm. What was an ocean view from the beach is now high-rise hotel/ apartment blocks which is not so good. Hotel itself has an Arabic theme, was clean and the bedroom ok. Although there are lifts there are lots of stairs in the hotel and in the grounds which can be a problem for guests with mobility issues. We were on a half board package but found that in most of the restaurants the majority of the items on the menu were not part of the package leaving the self service restaurant the only real option. The front desk took a 3000-dirham charge on my credit card to cover incidental expenses but did not reverse the charge until nearly a week later. The front desk manager was aware of our dissatisfaction and tried very hard to correct matters within the terms of our booking.
Can’t fault anything. From beginning to end the experience has been super. Staff and service is fantastic!
Magical resort with stunning architecture, location, and fantastic dining experiences. Our week was simply out of this world. Thank you for everything ❤️
Syed our host was amazing nothing was too much trouble to him between booking golf , meals, helping lots of other details for us. Always so professional and with a lovely smile my sister and I thank him so much for what all that he did. Especially answering our questions on the WhatsApp group, he set up for us, quickly and efficiently.
Wonderful service & facilities, where you are personally and privately cared for. Exceptional experience!
This was genuinely the best holiday we have EVER been on. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless. The service was truly out of this world, luxury on a completely different level. The staff were absolutely amazing, every single one of them. They were warm, attentive, kind, and constantly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. A special mention to Thisara and Tony, who were both incredible. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care made such a difference to our experience. They made us feel so welcomed and truly looked after throughout our stay. The resort itself is breathtaking, but what makes it unforgettable is the feeling of being treated with such attention and thoughtfulness. The atmosphere, the service, and the heart behind everything created the most magical holiday we’ve ever had. I actually cried when we left to come home, that’s how special this place is. We’re already planning our trip back for next year, and we know we’ll keep returning for many years to come. Thank you to the entire team for giving us the most unforgettable holiday of our lives.
From the moment we arrived at the One&Only Royal Mirage, our stay was nothing short of magical. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was even ready early, which was a wonderful surprise. I also discovered that I share a birthday with one of the receptionists—Wis, (I apologize for not remembering her full name). Wis went above and beyond with a beautiful gesture: a birthday cake and flowers waiting for me. It truly touched my heart. The celebrations continued the next morning when the lovely team at The Rotisserie sang me happy birthday during breakfast—such a warm and memorable start to the day. I genuinely enjoyed our two-night stay. Every moment felt special, and the team made my birthday unforgettable. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to return.
All good could not fault the stay at the hotel would recommend to our friends, will visit again next year.
We booked a trip with Fares from Hydro Elite: He promised us a trip of a lifetime, one that we would always remember and that is definitely what we got! We stayed for a night in the dome which is pure luxury! Private chef, amazing food!! Butler - the best ever who would have done anything for us at all!!! Camel rides, falcon experience, horse show, fire show and then we relaxed next to our private pool overlooking the desert and soaked up the sun. This is a trip I would recommend to everyone who wants to experience a different traditional side to Dubai. Truly amazing. Lots of fun. Memories which we will treasure forever. And we have the best photos!
A large beach with few people on it. A beautiful entrance to the sea. I really liked the Olives restaurant for its atmosphere, food and service.
Impeccable service. Thank you, Mr. Albin — your sincere smile and easy communication added even more charm to the restaurant. Thank you to all the chefs for the dishes of true haute cuisine. Olives Restaurant is the best restaurant.
Great hotel . Our second visit , lovely room .Food was great . The people were great and looked after our every need , even cleaning our sunglasses . Highly recommend a stay .
We stayed at One and Only Royal Mirage in November to celebrate my Birthday. My girlfriend and I both commented on how good the service was. Every member of staff that looked after us went above and beyond. The food was also incredible. We were on the half board package which was good value overall in my opinion. One evening, we got the boat over to 101 on the palm and ate there (with a 25% discount thanks to the half board package). Our bill here came to around £400 which included 3 glasses of wine. Although we really enjoyed the meal, we enjoyed our meals at BBG, Eauzone and Rotisserie just as much at a fraction of the cost. The pool areas were lovely (especially the adults only pool), the grounds immaculate and the whole feel of the hotel was impressive with an Arabic theme. Some reviews had mentioned that the rooms seemed a bit dated but I was nicely surprised with our room in the Palace which was great with a lovely view and really comfy bed. It was also kept extremely clean and tidy with waters always topped up. If we were to return, I think we both agreed that we would like to try the Arabian Court next time as the interior of that part of the hotel looked even more impressive. Thanks again to everyone at O&O for making our holiday so good.
We have just returned from an absolutely amazing week staying at the palace in a manzil room. The staff really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble, special mention to Justin and Cristina who looked after us so well at Olive's. The hotel is beautiful, the grounds surrounding it are immaculate with plenty of sunbeds well spaced and not overcrowded. All the restaurants we tried were fabulous.
The One and Only Royal Mirage is a great hotel that was really made fantastic by the staff. We spent 10 days half board in the the palace in a Manzil room. Every single restaurant was extremely careful with my wife's allergies and the food was lovely. All the staff that helped us were really lovely but we would like to particularly call out the following people who went above and beyond. First is Khaoula who organised a surprise sunset picnic for my wife and I to recreate one of our first dates, as well as giving my wife a lovely leaving gift (I have never experienced someone so thoughtful at a hotel before). Second is our Manzil host Kasuni who helped us with reservations, booking boats, lending us her tram cards and organising a tea making session. Finally Abinav and Varunan at the Manzil afternoon tea, who made sandwiches specifically for my wife's allergies and were absolutely lovely.
We had a lovely stay at the Royal Mirage on a half board package. On the second to last night they decided to charge us for the plain, still water and coffee we had with our meal. This was the first time this happened. They’ve been giving us free water all week, our room is FULL of bottles of water. If we had known of this utterly bizarre policy, we would have taken the water (that they gave us) from our room, to dinner, and then gone back to our room to have a free coffee out of the Nespresso machine they also provide (for free) on our balcony. It seems to me that having water and coffee with a meal is a perfectly normal thing to do in a high end hotel like the Royal Mirage and for this to be considered a ‘chargeable extra’ is simply one of the most incredibly cheap things I have ever seen a five star hotel do! It’s very definitely not the money, it’s the principle. Not impressed.
We stayed in the Residence which was well worth the extra cost as we wanted somewhere quiet. The resort is quiet spread out offering different ambiance’s depending on your preference. We loved going to the busier areas for example the Drift restaurant in the Arabian Court for lunch and the returning to our serene sanctuary in the Residence to chill. The beach area in the Residence has private cabanas which are spread out from one another and the beach service is the best we have ever received Every member of staff went above and beyond to please, making our 4 night stay very memorable. Rooms are spacious and of very high standard and the grounds immaculate I would highly recommend the half board option as the food included exceeded all expectations and was fabulous value for money. The only problem we had was that we didn’t stay long enough ! We are already planning our visit to return.
Amazing hotel with outstanding service!! All the staff were simply incredible. Fantastic choice of restaurants. Perfectly located.
One of the best spas I’ve been to. Facilities are great and services too especially the hammam. Recommended for sure!
I had a fantastic breakfast at one&only royal mirage hotel. Where they have two outstanding restaurants Olives and celebrities. The food was amazing. the staff was very nice, once you go in , you find the staff are welcoming and cheerful specially an outstanding hostess named Olia who noticed that I wasn’t satisfied staying indoor as i love to take my breakfast with greenery views so she checked and managed to find a table for me outdoors and the experience was more than perfect. I definitely recommend this place for chic breakfast with varieties of cuisines in an open buffet concept with great views and serene mornings. Besides the tremendous location and the quality of food , personally for me the staff professionalism is one of the most important things in any restaurant. Having examples like Olia is a big plus. Keep up the great work ! You nailed it. As well, Breakfast is good value for money for a five star hotel .
Excellent hotel with great location and service from all staff. Restaurants sampled were all very good with excellent quality of food snd service. Great pool at The Palace
Peaceful and good service, a must place to go, myanmar staff is very friendly and others are also very respectful.
Just had an amazing 16 nights at The Royal Mirage, this is our second visit, this hotel is very special. The hotel is beautiful, low rise, traditional Arabic design set in beautiful gardens, a real oasis from busy Dubai. We stayed in The Palace, stunning pool and beach area with loads of sun beds, an abundance of water and towels. The food at The Esplanade was fantastic with wonderful service. Simba on the beach was a real delight and was constantly checking in on us. Our room was great, incredibly spacious, lots of storage & nice products. We were looked after amazingly well by housekeeping, always on hand and often returned to the room to find gifts, beautiful flowers, wine & sweet treats. We had breakfast in Celebrities, a nice touch to have a restaurant with a 12+ age restriction, always a very peaceful experience. A huge selection on offer but A La Carte too, wonderful service. All the restaurants in the hotel are lovely but we particularly loved Beach Bar & Grill, a beautiful restaurant with an amazing outside seating area. Service & food very special. Amal our host is a lovely, kind gentleman, always willing & available to assist. The Royal Mirage is truly a fantastic hotel, with brilliant facilities & staff who excel in everything they do. Unfortunately I’ve given a 4 star review due to issues which are totally out of the hands of the hotel but nevertheless very impactful. There is an awful lot of noise all around. There is building going all around the hotel which is continuous 24/7. There is also loud music that comes from The Five Hotel most afternoons. But worse than all of that are the weekends, numerous party boats moor up by the beach and play horrendously loud music. One day it was so unbearable we left the beach at 3 in the afternoon to get some peace & quiet, not exactly a relaxing experience. I did make a complaint and the hotel came back to me straight away to apologise, they try their best to deal with it, ie getting the coastguard to monitor, but still a problem. It’s a real shame because it has tarnished the stay but totally accept the hotel is in a impossible situation. Without that, hands down it would be 5*
The Residence is part of the One & Only Royal Mirage hotel in Dubai and provided us with four perfect, luxurious days with beach access, friendly professional service, and fantastic food.
Excellent hotel. Clean and spacious rooms and facilities. Quality great tasting food. Amazing helpful staff. Stayed for a wedding, highly recommended.
Beautiful Hotel that requires Updating, Especially the Bathrooms and the Bedrooms. A Pool Bar open later so that you can enjoy a drink outside before dinner. Breakfast at Celebrities requires more staff especially around the weekend.
Stayed at the Royal Court and had a wonderful experience. Great service, great staff, wonderful room, super pool and awesome breakfast service. Complimentary tickets to Atlantis Aquaventure water was used a couple of days. I highly highly recommend the hotel!!
Top class all round, first class everything, restaurant's, rooms, beach club, everything, I highly recommend and by far the nicest hotel I've stayed in Dubai
We had the most amazing time and the hotel and staff were beyond our expectations and we will definitely be going back!
Stayed at the Residences again following a few years break due to Covid. The usual high levels of service and attendance haven’t changed thankfully. High degree of exclusivity and seclusion just what we pay for
First time in Dubai and staying at this hotel is just amazing. You don't know what to expect, but the friendliness, cleanliness, and hospitality are superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves service and likes to be near the pool and beach. The many restaurants in the hotel serve good food. The rooms are considered very luxurious and the beds are of very good quality. In short, Dubai, but especially this hotel, surprised us in a very positive way.
We had a wonderful experience. Great room, bed, shower, food, staff, location, atmosphere. We will stay again on our next trip.
Special mention for Fares of Hydro Elite who organised a great desert afternoon and night trip. Very helpful and attentive service 5-stars for Fares! Many thanks.
Swagath in the lobby bar is a fantastic mixologist. Our disappointment is we have been here for 5 days before we found him! Excellent cocktails !
Absolutely loved my experience! The food was amazing—every bite was delicious. The service by Ms. poppy and team was top-notch, they are very attentive, and friendly, making the visit even better. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Definitely a 5/5 across the board—I’ll be coming back soon!"
We stayed in the adults only residence. We often travel to fancy hotels. We were impressed by the quality of the staff, of the room service as well as the pool service. Restaurants were varied and all provided a great experience. The hotel is located close to the marina, the palm and directly on the beach. Limited number of rooms means it is very quiet, very green and beautifully set up. Would definetly recommend!
Moushin and Manish were amazing and so processional. Brilliant service so friendly. They went above and beyond!
After an exhausting trip we needed a place to chill and One and Only, The Palace certainly delivered. Despite an early morning arrival our room was ready at 7.00 am. Very spacious, well equipped with an excellent view. Housekeeping provided by Bansilal was first rate. We opted for half board which allows access to multiple restaurants, all of which provided excellent food. Service provided was very good and nothing was too much trouble. E.G, after trying a Tiramisu cake which lacked a coffee kick, the manager Binod went and sourced a truly delightful one from another restaurant (we didn’t ask, he just wanted us to be happy!) There was nothing not to like, from the beautifully manicured grounds, fabulous pool and beach, buggy rides to restaurants (the hotel covers a large area) but the one defining aspect is the service of all the staff we met. Thank you to Christina at Olive’s whose professionalism exemplified the standards the hotel aspires to. Thanks to her we have wonderful memories of the hawks used to keep the breakfast area free of birds. This was our first trip to Dubai and should we return it will be to this hotel.
Room not ready well past the stated 3PM check-in time. Seems like at least 3 other rooms behind us are in the same situation. I’m almost shocked a hotel of this quality and at this price point can do this to guests anywhere let alone in Dubai. Profoundly disappointing. What makes the whole thing worse is the total lack of communication from staff with no time estimate for the room and no proactive outreach as people wait with luggage on the side. Embarrassing and not worthy of O&O name,
This was the fifth time we have stayed at The Royal Mirage over the past 20 years. While Dubai has changed considerably over very this time, The Royal Mirage continues to be a special place and delivers a fantastic family holiday whatever age your children are. The hotel is unique in Dubai in that it has its own 1km private beach facing The Palm with views of West Beach on The Palm to your right and Dubai Marina to your left, set against the fabulous backdrop of the Dubai skyline. It’s also low rise which is rare now in Dubai! We were given fantastic rooms in The Palace on the fourth floor with wonderful, uninterrupted views towards the sea and West Beach on the Palm. It was a treat to watch sunset every evening on our balcony. Thank you Reception Team. Our two sons are grown up teenagers now and there was plenty for them to do with the daily pool volleyball in The Palace Pool to playing padel (the hotel has 3 tennis and 2 padel courts - fantastic facilities). There are daily activities organised by the hotel should you feel energetic! The Arabian Court also has a bar with large TV screens showing all major sports events as well as a pool table. The boys also went to the Atlantis waterpark which is complimentary if you stay at the Royal Mirage. My husband and I would get up before breakfast to swim in The Palace pool and a big thank you to the member of poolside staff who had our towels ready every morning on the beds we liked - such a lovely thing to do and I am sorry we can’t remember his name. The food is excellent across the resort. The relatively new independent Indian restaurant Tresind in The Arabian Court is a must! Outstanding. Eauzone continues to deliver delicious Asian food and The Beach Bar and Grill serves wonderful grilled meat and fish. The Shisha courtyard is great too. The Jetty Lounge for evening drinks is a lovely setting but it would be good if they had a happy hour each evening like most other places in Dubai. It was fairly empty compared to our last visit which is a shame so maybe a happy hour would help. We’ve stayed at other five star resorts around the world such as the Four Seasons and Anantara and they have hosted weekly welcome drinks from the management team, but this did not happen at The One and Only - a shame and something that I am sure would be welcomed by guests. The daily buffet breakfast at The Palace was extensive and outstanding. You can choose to take breakfast at Olives which is the larger, more relaxed restaurant or at Celebrities which is beautiful, but more formal. We personally preferred Olives as the selection is incredible - from the daily selection of fresh fruit and juices (green and coconut available!), to Arabian delights, breakfast specials to order, a chocolate fountain.. the list is endless. The other main reason we like Olives was because of the wonderful team of staff who work there. Nothing was too much trouble and they are a credit to the hotel - a special thanks to Esther, Pawan and Mercy. We hope to return again in the not too distant future!
We had a really good time at this hotel. The breakfast at Celebrities was excellent with plenty of quality options, and the Tagine restaurant was a highlight. Special mention to Fayçal, our waiter at Tagine, who provided brilliant service throughout our meals. He was attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience that much better.
The moment you arrive it is 5 star service they cannot be more friendly and helpful very slick and professional you will not be disapointed.
Hi there! My name is Sunshine, and I work as a nanny. I’d like to share my experience in the kids' club. I encountered a really rude staff member while my little boy was playing with the alphabet puzzle. She literally picked up the puzzles without saying anything first. When I spoke to her, that was the only time she said sorry, explaining that they needed to be washed, so I let it go. The second time we played with the number puzzles, I put them back where they belonged. Again, she came over, visibly upset, and said it was not arranged properly. I told her that I found it that way. I began to express that she was being quite impolite, mentioning that if my employer had been there, she wouldn't have acted like that. As a nanny, I visit various hotels and kids' clubs, like Jumeirah Beach, Al Naseem, and Al Qasr, and this was the first time I encountered a staff member like her. I always try to return the toys to their proper places after we play. Fortunately, LEE, a lovely and very kind staff member, was present to witness the situation. She even stepped in to ask for an apology since she saw everything unfold. I calmed down a bit because she played some kids' songs. I just felt bad for the little boy with me.
Was sick after eating in courtyard - such a shame as it used to be one of my favourite places. But I was really unwell, upset stomach and pain.
The worst stay experience in the past 10 years. Mainly due to the front desk manager, Emaber. 1. At check-in, he tried to overcharge us by 9,000 AED, insisting that the rate on Booking.com (hotel price + taxes) was not final and that they add another 20% on top. After a long discussion, it turned out he was wrong. Luckily, we noticed the amount before tapping our card. 2. At check-out, he tried to include lunches we never had or signed for in the final bill. Again, after some back and forth, it turned out he was wrong. We also tried several times to switch our dinners to lunches, and every time he refused. After leaving One&Only, we went to Jumeirah Al Qasr, and when I told this story at their reception, everyone there was shocked. We’ve stayed at One&Only resorts in many countries, but have never encountered such rudeness anywhere else. It’s unclear how someone like him could work in a hotel of this level. Without a doubt, this was the worst experience in recent years, and it seriously damages the reputation of the entire One&Only brand. And yes — the beach is surrounded by construction on all five sides. The rooms are old and smell of mold. That, perhaps, one could tolerate. But the manager — that’s absolutely unacceptable.
Stayed here for 1 week during the summer holidays. 2 adults and 1 child. Half board with 2 hours free drinks (Sunset Cocktails). Just want to state the staff here were amazing. Everybody so friendly and helpful. The pools were lovely. The half board was absolute quality (especially one night where they paid for our transport to have a meal at their sister hotel on The Palm). Only 2 minor negatives.... - Room was a bit dated and the key kept failing to work. Meaning a long walk to reception to get a new key most days. - Some staff were not very forthcoming with service during the 2 hour Sunset Cocktails. I felt like I shouldn't order another drink too soon :) The grounds were substantial and so green. The gym was decent and being able to use the pool at the Arabian Court was nice too for a change of scenery. Hope to visit your hotel again soon.
We've just returned from 7 nights at the Palace hotel of this resort. There were lots of positives about this hotel, and we had a lovely stay. However, there are a few things that could transform the stay from 'good' to 'excellent'. Firstly, the resort is really stunning. It's huge - I mean really huge. You can get buggies around, and there are many of them. We didn't have to wait more than about 4 mins to get one. You can walk along the seafront from one end of the resort but it can be hot! We stayed in the Palace hotel which is one of the most popular so it's busier and more family-orientated. The pool is enormous and has a good mix of depth so you can happily swim with younger children. The Arabian Court hotel, where the kids club is, requires a 10 min walk or a buggy to get to. The pool there has a slide, which the kids love and a large shallow area though the pool overall is smaller. We decided to upgrade a bit to the Manzil rooms which has dedicated lifts, a concierge, afternoon tea and happy hour. Given a glass of wine on site is around £18, this upgrade can be worthwhile. The concierge service was underwhelming and the afternoon tea was just a few things laid out on a table so we didn't go back. The room was smaller than expected, and was dated. The balcony is very small - just a table and two chairs that couldn't move due to the space. There was one large wardrobe with a few drawers - OK for a week but for 3 people would have been tight for any longer. The bathroom was small but well equipped. Cleaning was good - it was pretty spotless in the room. Aircon didn't work brilliantly - it didn't get below about 22 degrees, despite trying to adjust it every day. The bed mattress was a bit too soft and springy for me - by the last couple of days I had back ache and my husband said the same. The view from the room was over the pool, and it was pretty quiet. It was nice to wake up to the birds singing. Food at the resort was very good. Breakfast was lovely - more so if you could get a coveted tables outside (they need more) and there was the added fun of the hawk present every morning. We used the kids club most days and they deserve a special mention - the staff were lovely, and the activities they create are wonderful. From tie dye tshirts to dress a bear, to pumpkin carving, to splash and play in the pool, to pizza making with the resort chef - it was all excellent. Overall, we had a lovely week but some small changes would make us return.
Now don’t get me wrong it’s a lovely hotel but just have not got it right in my honest opinion. I’ve stayed in many 5* hotels and resorts and this was very good but some average service and gripes throughout. On arrival we had flown overnight were shattered and just wanted to check in (although room not ready which we knew) and swim. We were offered no water and when I asked for some was charged a cost of £9. I’ve no objection in paying but I think that should be part of the service on arrival. Anyway after what seemed an eternity to book us in, we were escorted to changing room. We arrived that morning at 8.30am. We’re denied breakfast unless we pay! £2k a night we paid and weren’t allowed breakfast. Poor in my opinion. Anyway list of bad followed by good - - Drift rented out to an Indian party - no sleep, thumping music. - Another night rooftop bar party - no sleep, irritable children (remember £2k a night for this tranquil escape) - Not enough beds around palace pool. Chaos. As everyone escaping the sound of the several skyscrapers being built all round it. I agree not the hotels fault but it is loud! - Long waits for drinks when pressing buzzer - Denied a drink at palace pool bar as told have to be served by waiters walking round with buzzer. Yet none came. Good - Staff were excellent on towels, cleaning, concierge. Rooms spacious and very clean Food is good throughout - even the buffet weren’t too bad. Beach is lovely Boat service to Palm is spot on Beds comfy Ground are beautiful General overview - would not return. I’m not one to complain in general but just don’t have that wow factor on service. Noise was the worst I’ve ever experienced.
Visiting the hotel with my friends was truly impeccable. The service stood out, especially thanks to Ms. Poppy, who was knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Our tea and coffee were refilled promptly, and the live harpist provided a perfect, relaxing backdrop for our conversation. While the price point is on the higher side, it’s understandable given that the hotel is a luxury establishment. The quality of the food and the refined experience make it well worth the splurge for a special occasion.
Wonderful resort . Our 13 th visit . Our sons love it here and have both grown up coming here as babies ( now aged 12 and 20 ) . Akhil and his team pool side anre incredible . They work tirelessly to provide the very best service . Always polite and pleasant they attend to everyone without hesitation . Superb . Will be back next year .
I stayed at The One and Only (Arabian court) in June this year. My 4 year old son and I had a 5 day break and loved it so much we’ve come back less than 6 months later. The rooms are spacious and modern. I’m a tad OCD with cleanliness and I happy with the standard at this resort. There is a broad range of cuisines and a great breakfast buffet. When I need respite, the Kid’s club keeps my son entertained. The staff engage effortlessly with my child. One both visits we’ve met Hillarry - an absolutely outstanding member of staff! She keeps us in the loops about local events as well as activities in the hotel. She also makes sure my son is eating well and ensures he eats his fruit with a reward of a baby cappuccino at the end. Second time around we’re staying at The Palace and I have found my experience to be better at Arabian Court - from the food to the organisation of the staff. We also enjoyed the private beach. Highly recommend.
Great service and drinks at Jetty lounge with Vivek and team . Sensational massage in the spa with Josain and team .
We had a wonderful stay at the Palace at the end of September. For the first time ever we never left the hotel for the week we were there. We were unable to tear ourselves away from such a haven of peace and comfort, particularly as it was extremely hot. There were lovely shaded spots even when you were in the pool. We really enjoyed dining at three different hotel restaurants in the evenings and at the beach bar at lunchtime. We would recommend all of them. One of the chefs kindly shared her recipe for an amazing dessert we had. There is a small adult only pool which we never used but was good to have as an alternative in case the main pool became too noisy. Breakfast is served in the Olives restaurant by a very friendly and efficient team. A special mention for the omelettes which were cooked to perfection, a rare occurrence. Also our appreciation to the pool team who took care of us during our stay. The hotel is part of a huge complex. The Palace itself sits in extensive, immaculate gardens with an impressive backdrop of surrounding skyscrapers. There are many special things about the hotel but the staff are the most special thing of all. Everyone we encountered throughout our stay at the Palace seemed genuinely welcoming and concerned that we should have the best visit possible.
We had a wonderful week at the Royal Mirage. This was our sixth time here. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location with excellent restaurants. We received another warm welcome. Many thanks to Akhiel at the pool. And also to the Eauzone team (Nava, Radith, Pukra, Khéne). They work incredibly hard and are always so friendly!
The most perfect hotel and my favourite place to stay in Dubai. This place never fails to impress me. The beach and pools are so clean and beautiful. The place is so beautiful. We stayed at The Palace and did half board this time and all restaurants were so good. With half board, at dinner you get a starter, main and dessert from the half board menu. Our favourite was Eau Zone at the Arabian Court (for the Wagyu beef sushi, lobster tacos and mango creme brûlée). The staff at this hotel are incredible…they are all so so kind and make you feel like royalty. We did breakfast at ‘Olives’ everyday and all the food is so fresh. I particularly enjoyed the frozen açai and frozen yoghurt dispenser with all the lovely honey. Even we the standard rooms, you get some much space and the mattresses are so so comfortable (I wish I could take it home with me). Thank you Royal Mirage team, we will be back! I think we will try the Arabian Court next time.
