Tutto bello. Ottimo posizione. Zona comune molto bella . I ristoranti a disposizione davano cibo di buona qualità
L’accesso alla spa era a pagamento. Peccato perché con quello che abbiamo speso non me lo aspettavo.
love the s'more idea. Francios at the restaurant was fantastic. location is lovely and pool was great
View from room looked out at staff housing and broken fence and junk in alley. also, our credit card was charged incorrectly 4 times. And these charges have been pending for 5 days now. We paid in advance 4 rm, but somehow front desk kept charging
Lots of activities, and events to do! Pool/ slides/ hot tubs are amazing for the whole family.
Excellent experience for families.
Softer lighting in the lobby in the evenings and maybe some quiet live music.
Beautiful setting with well maintained facilities.

The surrounding area is astonishing
The front desk seemed to always have long queues, regardless of the time of the day we visited. Other people in the queues confirmed the same from their previous visits and this one. Upon our initial check-in, we used the Bonvoy Elute queue, but it was so badly marked, other people just kept jumping in to the main part of the desk, so we actually got served slower than without trying to have our status recognised. The person checking us in barely made eye contact and just kept looking past us. She also didn’t explain the rooms location and elevators at all. The air conditioning in the rooms was unacceptably noisy. We were not able to use it and had to sleep in sweltering heat.
the waterpark is open now, they have activities esp for the kids to enjoy.
long wait during check in and also during check out. Their frontdesk were not knowledgable enough thus taking too long to assist guests.
The location, spa, staff, and food.
No AC in the room. Some signs of a previous pet in the room (dog hair and stain on carpet). Plus an early morning fire alarm with no communication during/after.
Friendly staff— not including front desk staff. Check in was very slow and it was clear the front of house was understaffed. In room dining and blacktail bar had delicious food. S’mores in evening was a nice amenity. The waterpark and pool/hottub are fantastic for kids and best part of the hotel. The workshop activities were well organized and also great for families.
The beds were very uncomfortable, hotel is becoming very dated and could be cleaner. Overpriced and under delivered. Error in room charge on check out— staff were rude and condescending about this despite it being their mistake.
Beautifully surrounded by mountains felt very secluded in a good way
No complaints
Be careful they charge you twice on credit card you have to fight for refund for weeks
Staff charge twice on credit card
The location is absolutely beautiful
Stay & Nordic spa are too expensive for what you get
Très confortable et chaleureux
Dommage qu’il y ai eut des travaux quand nous sommes passés
Some of the furniture is showing signs if wear and tear.
A beautifully situated and wonderfully peaceful place to stay. The room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, while the location offers easy access to countless scenic trails and lovely walks. In the evening, you can unwind by the outdoor fire pit and toast marshmallows under the sky. After an active day, Kananaskis Nordic Spa is also well worth a visit for proper rest and relaxation. A charming bonus is watching the daily life of the local chipmunks and ground squirrels around the property.
The room was spacious and comfortable..Beautiful views. Good service. Lots of options for food.
Having to carry your luggage from parking lot and then a LONG way down a hallway to your room. Not senior friendly in that respect.
Breakfast, room cleanliness, stuff were exceptionally great!
From the spa, grounds, and fireplaces/pits, the hotel is such a magical place to relax and unwind.
The location is perfect to explore Kananaskis area.
The pool, and jacuzzi area was very small for the size of hotel. It was always full of people.
Coffee place great. The surroundings are awesome in the mountains fantasic views. Room was clean and we had an upgrade when we arrived.
Renovations on the pool were taking place. Eating wise menus were not our taste.
Good location for skiing
Pool area under construction and hotel facilities a bit aged.
The food options are amazing. The Forte restaurant was incredible for a sit down meal. The cafe and deli are great options for quick grab and go meals. The kids centre and programs are great! The staff were so nice. The rooms are large and look better than the pictures (which is rare).
Wish the kids pool was open!
Beautiful big room with a balcony that overlooked the spa.
It was dated, but still nice. Very expensive for everything.
Good
Beautiful location, lots of little luxuries, adventure right outside your door.
Under construction in some areas.
Everything
Pool renovation was underway. Was looking forward to watching my son on the slides.
Staff were very helpful and friendly Complimentary appies and snacks and breakfast was very good
Pool water park was closed
The location is absolutely beautiful and there were so many activities. Also, good food and comfortable beds.
Enjoyed every aspect
It was beautiful
Nothing
Staff at front desk ( David) and reservation agent(Vivian)addressed a reservation issue .
Booked reservation through booking.com. Originally booking was for Feb 18/19 . I applied to have that changed to the 25/26 . Change was accepted and acknowledged with confirmation that appeared to come from Kananaskis Mountain lodge . However when we got to the front desk , there was no reservation for us.
The view
The staff
The village is adorable. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Loved the smore’s at night! The lobby and staff are great. The outdoor pool and hot tub are fantastic.
The room! So dated. Slightly updated from its 1980’s origins. Tiny bathroom and unusable tub (small and yellow around the drain). Felt like an old, dingy smoker’s room. Was worse in person than the photos online. Also received around six emails prior to my stay as if this stay was such a big deal lol! Not necessary.
It was very enjoyable! Omelet and fruit bowls were yummy!
Dinner in the dining room. Meat was not to our request.
The lobby & grounds were lovely. We also liked the Christmas arts & crafts activities.
They took $330 from my credit card 3 weeks after my stay when I had no room charges & have not responded to my query. This also happened during our stay to my family who stayed in another room. They were overcharged & have still not been paid back. For over $1,000 a night, it was not worth the price. The rooms are basic and small & our soaps/shampoo & conditioner were empty. They were advertised with a microwave yet didnt have one. There is 1 door that closes for the closet & bathroom so only 1 ting can be closed at once. No lock on bathroom door. For the price & also the reputation, I would expect some nice touches, which weren't a thing. The fact that they charged 20% gratuity for a buffet where we were not served at all & had tables less than 8 was ridiculous. There were a few restaurants, but the prices were insane which is common for resorts that hold monopoly in their area. There were also dogs everywhere. Which I love dogs, but not when they're barking in the hallway outside my room in the middle of the night while we sleep with a baby (or even just us sleeping too). They were also allowed on all the furniture in the general areas of the hotel which is wild given they are a allergy hazard & also would go outside, then come inside & walk all over the furniture. Honestly, I'm sad it's left such a bad taste in my mouth for this accommodation. We had decided to go here instead of the Fairmont in Banff for Christmas due to the activities and reputation, but I wouldn't recommend.
Very good facilities, food options were good, particularly liked Woodys pub.
Dogs!! There were dogs everywhere. Little ones yapping in rooms when I was trying to relax or sleep; big ones in lounge areas, even on seats. I don't want to sit somewhere a dog has been sitting on. Plus, what about people allergic to dogs - and the hygiene aspect. I've not stayed in a good hotel like this that allows dogs as a matter of course. Getting here without a car was nigh on impossible (thank goodness for the new Flixbus route from calgary airport - although the timetable was a bit limited)
Great bfast and appies provided
dinner choices - limited and expensive
The amazing view out the window. The table and two big comfy chairs in the corner. Underground parking.
The air conditioner/ heater was quite loud.
Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Not very clean room . Lady on the reception took the payment three times from my credit card and didn’t refund back funds.
Todo
Todo me gustó
It was dressed beautifully for Christmas
There are multiple restaurants available however every one the them is severely overpriced. The rooms only had 1 door for the bathroom and closet and it didn’t lock on the bathroom side. The room had one sink (so if someone was in the bathroom there was not another sink) Room was advertised with a microwave but did not have one.
Huge room with very comfy beds. Staff very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Lots of options to eat and drink in the hotel. The Nordic Spa was right next to the hotel.
Nothing.
Nice facilities
The room was VERY noisy - the heater / air condition started up every 10 minutes or so and woke us up each time. The staff generally appeared full of them selves (with some exceptions) and it was all about them and NOT about the patrons.
Everything under one roof and really well laid out. The restaurants are nice and good is good. The pool was under construction so that really sucked because that was the main reason we booked our family stay. Nothing too bad though, we just left to do the adventures and not stay and spend our money in the hotel so take that as you will….
The location is spectacular if you’re looking for a mountain getaway.
For the cost of the room we didn’t feel it was worth it. Over $400 for a mediocre room that we overlooked a dumpster even though the hotel was nowhere close to being at capacity.
Room was beautiful and quiet. Staff were super friendly and extra helpful. Only negative was that the indoor pool and hot tub area was under renovations, but I was aware of that when booking, so it wasn't a surprise. Gorgeous views when walking the trail around the property too!
Excellent stay! Gorgeous facilities, friendly staff, excellent food and drink available! The outdoor hot tub was the perfect temperature. The balcony overlooking the trees and with a view of the mountains was top notch. Only issue is upon check-out I wasn’t told I would still need my room key to leave the underground parking. Usually, you scan to get in only, and when you leave, the doors are simply motion detecting. Thus, I gave both keys back at the front desk and was stuck inside the underground. I called the front desk, they said they’d send someone down in 5 minutes. I waited about 15 before another guest had to leave the hotel and let me follow them out. So, if you plan to use underground parking, keep one key with you! There is a slot to roll down your window and drop it in after you exit. All in all, had a lovely time and will for sure be staying again
Beautiful, family friendly and wheelchair accessible. Good food and fun activities like s'mores making and board games in front of the fire. However, the waterpark wasn't open and the current pool is not that kid friendly. Came with my father who is handicapped and they no longer allow handicapped parking by the entrance- you have to park underground. There is a lot of false signage to the elevator underground and our room was very far away. It was difficult to tote my toddler, push a wheel chair, and pile all the bags on my back with no luggage carts and several wrong turns to false "elevators" on the way to our rooms
Indoor pool was in "re-construction" but otherwise it was great
.
Great location and amenities for a family vacation.
Check in was unorganized and took an hour and they moved our rooms and they weren’t ready at 4 pm check in time. One of the front desk staff were rude and did not care or even attempt to resolve the issues or concerns.
Really lovely property. Scenic views . We attended a wedding and it was beautiful . There is a kids play room which I think could be expanded with more games for the kids but it was helpful to have a ping pong table and a few videogames. The waterslide was not open but the activities at the resort were great!
This is a great location but needs some work. Check in was late and we should have been comped. Elevators looked tired. Bathrooms need upgrades. Food was good. Having wine and beer from the US is not good. And construction and all of the things closed was not good.
Located just off the highway 40. Great access to K Country. Yes we did see a grizzly bear. The design of the hotel is pretty uninspiring but it's clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly. We enjoyed the bar area and restaurants. All the food is well cooked and priced competitively. The swimming pool and hot tub is excellent. A third party operate the Nordic Spa site next door at a cost of $155.
This is not an actual village. There is nothing else in the area. Construction work is currently underway. Avoid low number rooms if you don't want to be woken up each morning with the Trash being emptied.
Convenient the hotel was next to the Nordic spa. Loved the smores making area. So fun.
Oreillers trop durs , matelas creusé à droite ..dommage
Great spot!
La idea de estar en este hotel era waterpark y estaba en remodelacion. Muy decepciónada de quedarme aquí.
No sabía que el waterpark estaba en remodelación
Great location and decent property
I love how has such a relaxing feel to it I generally feel like I’m someplace else. Every time we go as we’ve been going there every August for the last five years with our two daughters. I love to see how the property is making events and to do while we were there for example we did the Bingo and it was really fun
A suggestion I could make would be to have a more affordable breakfast buffet even at dinner buffet at a more reasonable price for kids under like 19 or 20 I found the price for breakfast at being $55 was quite a bit because I don’t feel like by 20 year-old and 15 year old would’ve eaten $55 worth of breakfast
Piękna lokalizacja
Mountain views
The fact that property has become a day stay, and no longer able to use the facilities at leisure when staying the night. Not worth the over priced rooms
