Hotel Borobudur Jakarta

Had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Borobudur Jakarta! The hotel has a beautiful, classic atmosphere with spacious grounds and plenty of greenery, which makes it feel like a peaceful escape despite being in the middle of Jakarta. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious, and the overall facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. I especially enjoyed the hotel’s atmosphere — it has a timeless charm that you don’t get from newer, more modern hotels. The location was also convenient for getting around Jakarta. Overall, a lovely stay and definitely a hotel I would consider returning to when I’m back in Jakarta. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is lovely and full of holiday vibes. I have been to this hotel twice, the first time for a meeting and 2nd time for a yoga event. I truly enjoyed, and every corner of the hotel is beautiful. I hope that someday I'll get the chance to stay here, not just visit.

Hosting the event at a luxury venue like Hotel Borobudur Jakarta was a fantastic choice. It gave the entire event a premium, highly professional, and well-prepared feel. Despite being a large gathering, the setup was incredibly comfortable. The organizers did an excellent job by adding a proper enclosure/canopy and installing plenty of air conditioners, ensuring the room stayed perfectly cool and pleasant throughout the session. And The food provided by Hotel Borobudur was delicious. The menu was simple, light, and perfectly suited for a post-yoga refreshment.

I'm stay here because i had meeting at the function room borobudur, dinner we reserved at Chinese resto i think the name is Teratai, quite resto but they had amazing food ,from the first i booked the staff was had give me clearly information , and they so helpfull i asked for connecting my laptop it is possible at their tv vip room and mas firman directly call the guys who can solve my problem, why so quite resto had amazing food and staff, and Eni the woman with black suit i think she was the manager , she also helpfull and polite she taking care of us , will be back soon

I went there to a yoga event led by Coach Anjasmara. It was fun and the vibes were so clean and neat. The staff are also kind to help me find the location I was looking by the start. Thanks, Hotel Borobudur!

I had a new experience after staying at this hotel, it was very impressive and I felt like I was on holiday, I was helped by Bro Jami who was very friendly and helpful.

Prime location, nearby Gambir train station. The atmosphere is warm and festive due to season greetings for xmas and new years eve. The room is slightly old fashion, such as TV and the vibes, yet cleanlines and the amenities are ok. The service was excellent from the doorman to front office and the room service especilly Mr. Jaenudin. Very helpful and humble. Room rate with breakfast included have good value for money. I love the swimming pool and xmas decorations. Overall I've had enjoy to stay in Borobudur Hotel.

Warm and comey hotel with classicA comfortable hotel with charming, classic interiors. The rooms and toilets are clean, and despite the carpet, they're vacuumed daily. Thanks to housekeeping staff Dicky and Ilham for their assistance. The food menu is varied and delicious. The gym is fully equipped, though old, but well-maintained.

Correspond parfaitement à notre attente (se reposer à l’arrivée et ne pas sortir de l’hôtel) à proximité de la gare à pied pour prendre le train tôt le lendemain matin, restaurant pour le soir varié et très bien, petit déjeuner idem, piscine pour se détendre même si les retards de vols ne nous ont pas permis de l’expérimenter. Jardin agréable pour se promener et profiter de cette première soirée.

The check-in with Mr. Iman was seamless, and our room was spotless thanks to Mr. Saputra, Mr. Asman, and the 6th-floor cleaning team. The food was fantastic with daily variety, and room service was reasonably priced. Overall, our stay was memorable, and we eagerly look forward to returning.

Uitstekend hotel met prima kamers gelegen in het centrum van Jakarta. Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en het hotel heeft een mooi, groot zwembad. Aardig wat beroemdheden hebben hier in het verleden ook overnacht.

I stayed at Hotel Borobudur for eight nights and really enjoyed my time there, especially for this price. The breakfast was wonderful. Every morning I was greeted with a smile, there was always plenty of space, and the variety was amazing. No matter what kind of breakfast you like, you could find it here, and everything was constantly refilled and fresh. I was lucky to receive a free room upgrade with a view of the city. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Each day the housekeeping staff did an excellent job, and the bed was always a pleasure to sleep in. The garden of the hotel is beautiful. It is large and full of greenery, which makes it feel like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The little Borobudur inside the garden is a nice detail to see. The pool is big and very enjoyable. I loved the surroundings with the palm trees, the soft lights in the evening, and the relaxing music from the lounge in the background. The pool staff were also very friendly and welcoming. In fact, all of the staff in the hotel were wonderful. They were always ready to help with questions and arranging taxis, and they always made me feel at home. The shops and the different restaurants in the hotel are also worth mentioning, as they add even more comfort to the stay. Hotel Borobudur has a sense of grandeur and charm. It is a lovely place to stay and I would happily come back.

When I first arrived late in the evening, the TV remote did not work and the lock on the inside of the door wasn’t working properly. But the staff immediately came to try and fix it, and even the manager came by to check personally. He also took the time to have a nice chat with me and explained some of the history of the square opposite the hotel, which I really appreciated after such a long flight. The problems were taken care of quickly and in such a friendly way that it left me with a positive impression.

Riesiges Hotel. Im 10.Stockwerk hat man einen phänomenalen Blick. Das Frühstück ist phantastisch und auch den Pool (mit Sauna!) haben wir sehr genossen. Da wir nur eine Nacht da waren, können wir zur Umgebung nicht so viel sagen.

Die Getränke im Restaurant sind ziemlich teuer. Ansonsten war alles prima.

Abgesehen vom WLAN top. Super Frühstück, fast zu viel Auswahl, man kann gar nicht alles probieren. Zimmer sauber. Personal freundlich.

Wlan funktioniert zur Halbzeit nicht. Wenn man seine Reise tagweise plant, ist es echt erschwerend.

having a business trip and stay at Borobudur Jakarta, the room is spacious and clean even though is a 50 years old of hotel. there have a big big pools, beautiful swimming pool, garden, gym and out door jogging trails. miyama Japanese restaurant was amazing, food is very delicious and their Japanese Chef Omori is very professional n friendly. they have a very good coffee at Borobudur Gourmet. big selection of freshly baked bakery and cakes. I will come. again or even recommend to my friends. Job well done.

Ci hanno chiuso fuori prima dell'orario concordato, avevamo prenotato la stanza fino alle 22 ma al nostro rientro per recupero bagagli (ore 21.30) la nostra chiave era già stata disattivata.

As always a great hotel to relax in Jakarta. The swimming pool and the garden are wonderful. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff from the breakfast and the housekeeping were very helpful. There is a wide variety of shops and restaurants, making it very convenient. It is also walking distance from two important sites of Jakarta.

- The regulations around short pants at breakfast as told to my husband: "this is a business hotel so don't wear short pants at breakfast". Then maybe the hotel should not cater to families with family rooms... - As usual, a refresh of some parts of the room would be great - the taps were a bit broken in the bathroom and the kitchen. - The electrical plugs are most of them not in local format, which means we need adapters to use them. - A lot of mosquitoes in the Garden Wings rooms.

Albergo centrale e comodo per ogni spostamento. Colazione molto abbondante con dolce/salato/frutta fresca. Ho trovato molto cordiali ed ospitali tutto lo staff

Il condizionatore nelle stanze è impostato ad una temperatura troppo bassa, per cui ci ha accolto il gelo articolino entrambe le occasioni in cui ho soggiornato. Anche spegnendolo, resta quello centralizzato che però per fortuna non rende la stanza troppo fredda

Grootste zwembad dat we ooit hebben gezien! Prachtige ligging met grote tuin. We hadden een suite met 3 slaapkamers, Verrassend ruime woonkamer en slaapkamers met heerlijk tapijt en als bonus twee balkons met uitzicht op de tuin en zwembad. Luxe bedden, goede badkamers (elke slaapkamer had een badkamer met bad en toilet), goede roomservice en vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk ontbijt en avondeten.

- Na de reservering kwam bericht van het hotel dat er geen babybed beschikbaar was. Wij hadden daarom zelf een babybed gekocht, maar tot onze verbazing stond er toch een bedje klaar in onze kamer. - er was geen smart tv aanwezig en het hotel had ouderwetse stopcontacten die niet geschikt zijn voor europese stekkers.

Il manque des serviettes car il n'y a qu'une serviette pour les mains alors qu'il y a deux serviettes de douche. La moquette mériterait d'être shampouinée. Les restaurants sont bons mais ferment trop tôt.

Our Room and the 10th floor allocated to us is not what we paid for. The tenth floor exclusively allocated for people who book thru agents and no proper service provided no sufficient towels were provided and when we ask for Face Towel they said The Housekeeping said sorry for tenth floor we don't supply face towel. The whole floor was dirty and filthy and they closed Air Conditioner outside our rooms up to the elevators. The carpets were filthy and smelling.

Localisation idéale près des monuments et de la gare de Gambir (10 minutes à pied) pour aller à Yogyakarta. Très bel hôtel avec des halls immenses et plusieurs restaurants. Excellent petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet, tout est savoureux, avec un choix incroyable. Nous avons eu un très grand appartement, avec balcon avec vue sur la piscine. et le jardin. Lits très confortables. Très belle piscine immense, au sein d'un parc arboré en plein coeur de Jakarta.

Rafraichissement à prévoir pour certains équipements (prises de courant, cuisine, salle de bain). Climatisation difficile à régler (trop froid).
