Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre

Second time in Indonesia on various islands and this is the best hotel (price quality) we have stayed in. Beds, pillows, room and the staff all great. Also the rooms are very quiet. No traffic or sounds from mosques, a rare thing in Indonesia. And a big thank you to Ruth who solved the only problem we had (A.C In first room) quickly and with no fuss. Thank you Ruth.

Une expérience vraiment unique et exceptionnelle ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme par toute l’équipe. Nous sommes arrivés assez tôt et, malgré l’heure, le personnel a fait le nécessaire pour préparer notre chambre rapidement. Nous avons même pu l’avoir presque deux heures avant l’heure officielle du check-in, ce qui a été très apprécié après le voyage. La chambre était impeccable, avec un lit et un matelas extrêmement confortables. Les équipements sont extraordinaires : tout est pensé pour rendre le séjour agréable et confortable. Le petit-déjeuner est également exceptionnel, avec un choix très riche et varié. C’est sans aucun doute l’une des meilleures expériences hôtelières que nous ayons eues. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour son accueil et son excellent service. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

The hotel was amazing! They kindly prepared a “Happy Anniversary” welcome for us upon request and greeted us with delicious Gula Melaka cakes. Our room was spotlessly clean, and all the staff were friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with so many varieties to choose from. We stayed here for 11 days, and our entire stay was wonderful from start to finish. I highly recommend including breakfast with your hotel stay — it’s definitely worth it! ❤️

The front desk and the concierge were wonderful. We arrived very early and they helped to find a room and move in our bags while we were out in town. The rooms were very clean and the wifi was good. The breakfast was amazing. The complimentary chocolate hour in the afternoon was a lovely bonus.

The room felt a little cramped; a niche for storing bags would have been useful. The bed was too soft for comfort. Is there an option for a harder bed? The location is not bad in terms of distance to the main attractions, but there is little in the near neighbourhood.

Ontbijt is erg uitgebreid, van Aziatisch eten tot en met ijsjes, toetjes, cakes. Ze hebben ook brood, maar niet uitgebreid. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vooral in het restaurant. Je voelt je erg welkom. Buiten is het min of meer standaard Jakarta straatbeeld met eetkraampjes, eettentjes. Vanaf dit hotel kun je makkelijk lopen daar de grote moskee.

The room was nice and located on a higher floor, with a pleasant atmosphere. They also serve excellent coffee in the bar.

Check-in takes ages and involves far too much bureaucracy. The staff could also be more relaxed and welcoming. Everyone was very formal and stiff, which made the atmosphere feel rather impersonal. I was not impressed by the breakfast either. For the price, I find the hotel rather disappointing.

The prepared a little present to welcome me and my wife for the honey moon the were very kind and sweet .

Good location. Easy/short walk to train station. Beautiful newer hotel with several restaurant options in or close by. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Family friendly with activities for children.

This hotel provides an outstanding experience for its guests. Staff are incredibly helpful, hospitable, professional and will go out of their way to ensure that your stay is a pleasant and comfortable one. The hotel's daily breakfast is exceptional! There is an incredible variety of food (including local food items, meals made-to-order, several continental options and dessert too), everything is presented beautifully and is freshly made. If it is not included in the rate, I would highly recommend adding this to your stay to indulge in all that the hotel has to offer. As a traveler, it is especially convenient to be able to enjoy such a wide selection of food items before heading out to explore the area for the day. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything a traveler may require. Any additional items can be easily requested and accessed. The hotel is very accommodating and prepared to fulfil any and all needs and requests. This hotel is a great choice for travellers looking for a convenient location for access to or proximity to Central Jakarta. Surrounding areas and the rest of Jakarta are also easily accessible via taxis and other ride-hailing options. It is also fairly easy to access this hotel to and from the airport (CGK). Even during high-traffic, the drive should only take less than 1 hour (PRO TIP: Only use Bluebird Taxis to travel to and from the airport for accurate pricing and to ensure you ride with a safe, reliable driver). This hotel is ideal for families, couples, older travellers and solo travellers looking for a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay in Jakarta.

Over the course of my time in Jakarta, I stayed at this hotel twice. My first stay, at the start of my trip, was for 3 nights and was incredible. My second stay was just for 1 night, at the end of my trip before I flew out of Jakarta, and I was a bit disappointed with the assigned rooms. For my second stay, I was assigned rooms on a much higher floor which seemed to have been somewhat neglected. In both rooms, there were issues with the bathrooms, specifically with the shower. Although it was not a big issue for the one night, I did mention to the staff that it seemed like general maintenance and upkeep were overdue on that floor. The staff were incredibly apologetic and I am hopeful that those rooms will also soon reflect the overall quality of this hotel.

The hotel is gorgeous and relaxing. The staff were all really kind and attentive. Bonus points go to the free chocolate hour they had every day from 4-5 during my stay - all the chocolate was made in-house and was delectable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

최신 시설로 깨끗하고 인테리어도 깔끔했어요. 샤워부스 사이즈도 넉넉하고 샤워기 수압 좋아요. 침구도 아주 편안했고, 방 사이즈도 적당해요. 조식도 맛있는거 많고, 먹을게 많았고 식당이나 리셉션 직원들도 친절하고 영어 잘 하셔서 편하게 머물다 갑니다. 스파도 프라이빗하고 청결하게 마사지 잘 받았어요. 가격대 있지만 만족해요. 또 오고 싶은 호텔.

자카르타라서 더욱 그렇겠지만 오토바이 소음이나 기도 소리가 잘 들려요. 내부 방음보단 바깥 소음이 더 잘 들리는 편.

Superdeluxe hotel met verschillende uitstekende restaurants.

De ligging is niet mooi, aan een drukke straat met veel verkeer. Net als overal in Jakarta. Maar hoorde je in de kamer niets van.

Het hotel ligt in een prima buurt met veel mogelijkheden, er is een treinstation in de buurt voor treinen richting Kota of naar Bogor. Het restaurant in het hotel is zeer goed voor zowel ontbijt, lunch ald diner. Wij kregen een gratis kamer upgrade. Speciale dank aan Ferry van de receptie voor zijn hartelijke ontvangst. Het zwembad is heerlijk na een dag in de stad.

Location is relatively central. Nice pool and gym. Excellent Chinese restaurant on the ground floor

Booking.com lists this as a five star property, but I'd say it's a solid four star. Bathroom shower leaked under the door. Room was rather small. Breakfast was extensively Indonesian but limited western food. Breakfast cereals were all sugary - no granola or muesli.
