Everything about this hotel is amazing the staff are great, food is delicious, cocktails lovely , good value for money and in the center of everything ! I’ve already booked to come back to this hotel again

L emplacement

The location of the hotel and it's vibe. It has a good sized reception area and the staff are welcoming. The rooms are a decent size and we'll equipped. The bathroom was modern and well laid out. The bar and restaurant area are well laid out, too and the breakfast buffet was amazing.

Good location; nice rollin shower

Room was small; Accessible room not very accessible. Door very heavy and difficult to open from chair. Angle to get into room was awkward. There was a table and chair in the hallway in the room originally, had to move to get into the room. If housekeeping staff were in the hallway, would need them to move their carts to get by.

Clean, modern, comfortable. It was a little bit on the "no-frills" side: not much extra, but clean and practical (I had a single room with only a small bed for one person). Staff was great and super helpful. Good location: it was a few-blocks walk from the river and the south side, but a lot of tours have a departure point really close, and the airport bus also has a stop really close.

The shower only had an "overhead shower head", no handheld option. Not practical at all and impossible not to wet your hair without a shower cap. (There were no shower caps in the room, but the reception had them handy to give to anyone who asked.)

It’s accessibility to city centre

The checkin time is 4pm and checkout is at 11am, while mosts hotels let you checkin at 3 and let you stay till 12 pm next day. Also, they don’t have bottled water in the rooms and we had to run down when we needed water. The restaurant closes at 9pm, so good luck. Also, the air conditioner in room was faulty, a tech guy came to fix it but still it didn’t work.

Lovely rooms, nice and clean - staff were lovely and friendly. Lovely bar area.

No dislikes, only that the towels are too small in the rooms

The room was very clean and the hotel is situated in a perfect location to discover Dublin.

For the very pricey cost, the room was extremely small.

Friendly helpful staff especially Paris on reception. Convenient for O'Connell Street and Q parking safe and secure.

Fan didn't work in the bathroom .

Reception very good. Addressed everything. Had to ask for toilet paper numerous times, had to ask for more towels, and wash clothes.

Housekeeping

It is advertised as “with high speed internet” but at the duration of our stay the internet is so slow or no connection at all at night time. Staff are not that friendly at all.

La habitación era muy pequeña apenas te podías mover No tenía armario una pequeña barra con cuatro perchas. No te podías secar el pelo ya que el cable del secador no llegaba al espejo

The hotel was very accommodating and had very friendly staff. I would totally recommend it to anyone visiting!

Rooms were a little warm and damp due to not as much ventilation but it would clear out.

Lost my bags for nearly 2 hours

The hotel was newly renovated and the bed was very comfortable!

The bedding had a few dirty stains/marks on the sheets. Also the shower was awful. The shower tray is very light I felt like I was going to fall through it if I moved a step and the shower curtain was useless the bathroom was soaked after showering. Also someone else's body hair was on the shower tray.

Bar was nice

No fridge, car parking arrangements ridiculous.

For the price we expected a little better than we got. No bottled water in the room. Complimentary toiletries a minimum (a plastic bottle of liquid soap). £25 per day extra for two breakfasts and they weren’t that good. Dined in one evening, fish n’ chips and a pizza. Should have realised why there weren’t many people sat in the restaurant.

This was an ideal location, a walk away from the luas line, bus stops and places to eat and shop.

Great position especially for visiting the city or attending an event at Croke Park

We booked a basic double bedroom for 5 nights. The door was damaged, the hairdresser was broken and they replaced it and asked me to use it on low heat in order to avoid overheating it (¿!), the floor was carpeted and you could see hair and other stuff even after the daily cleaning. All the other facilities were clean and ok but considering the price we paid I would have expected more Thanks

Academy Plaza Hotel is a half block off the main street, but surprisingly quiet. This made bus and tour connections really easy. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices and a relaxed atmosphere. Front desk staff were happy to help and answer questions.

The room was very small, just a little space on each side of the bed, and minimal space to store luggage, but that is why it was economical.

The location was very nice, and quiet. The room was good and the bathroom had a real door, not a glass one. Having a bar at the hotel was also nice.

El ruido en la habitación, empezaba a las 6:00 de la mañana y estaba hasta casi las 2:00. La chimenea de extracción de la cocina, horroroso. No deberían alquilar esas habitaciones o al menos advertirlo.

The location is excellent! Close to the centre and not far from Croke Park. Transport links are excellent near by. The hotel is beautifully presented and the staff are very polite and helpful.

The room was a little small, struggled to get round the bed.

Dobar hotel, sve je bilo čisto i uredno, a soba odlična i ugodna. Sve je odgovaralo očekivanjima i imali smo ugodan boravak. Sve pohvale!
