Room was small, barely room for one chair, no storage space, only one area for suitcase, the second one on the floor. In reality the room looked like it was suitable for one traveller staying one night. The lobby, lounge area was not cosy, cool and drafty. In saying this, we made do and our overall experience was positive

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Location was good. Breakfast was good. Room spacious and comfortable.
We were in room 312. It was very noisy with very loud music and loud voices being heard well after 12 midnight. We booked a taxi at reception to go to see Riverdance at the Gaiety Theatre. The girl on reception did not know the Theatre or where it was! The taxi was booked for 6.30pm. It turned up at 5.30pm! I asked reception to rebook for 6.30pm. It had not arrived by 6.50pm ( the show started at 7.30pm) and reception said the company sometimes cancel bookings when they are heavily booked or in bad weather when they are running late! Change the taxi company!!! We were told to go to a taxi rank around the corner - in pouring rain! One member of staff went outside and hailed a taxi for us and we did eventually reach the Theatre in time for the show. The situation was stressful and shou ld have been unnecessary. Not good.

At night, they turn on aircon to the max at the bar, was so cold couldnt enjoy the over priced drink I had purchased. Ended up having to go to the room. Over priced pint, had to ask the barman to fill the pint of Guinness, was filled below the rim of the glass, and proceeded tl give out to me when I asked him to fill the glass properly. The shower in room was odd, could barely fit around the shower door, very strange design
