No breakfast was provided.

One room 213 had a very hard bed. Aug 27th, Bathroom was very small & difficult to open door without hitting the wall. Room 220 on Aug 31st was small. No A/C

Breakfast not included but we paid for breakfast at the onsite restaurant and it was great

Internet Connection sucked. Room was clean but very dated, lots of physical repairs are needed

The hotel is in need of renovations .

Good location - kitchen

Facilities old - bathroom too small needing updating. No screens on window and noisy air conditioner made uncomfortable evening

For the most part, it was good. Clean, conveniently located, decent price.

No A/C as promoted and temps over the previous 4 days had been 30C+. AC was a necessity and didn't exist. No ac in the lobby or restaurant either. Was working in some areas by next morning, but not the rooms - they are in the process of retrofitting them.

Always a decent stay despite it being an older and dated facility. Limited options in area.

The location was perfect for an overnight stay. Found the bed very comfortable and was surprised how quiet it was with the location. Having the restuarant on location was also a bonus.....the food was good and the portions were huge. Also want to mention our waitress as we were pleased with the service she offered and her friendly personality.

The cleanliness......all tho the carpets were vaccummed they were very dirty including hallways, stairs and the room......TV screen looked like someone had spilled a liquid all over the screen.....the grout in the shower was clean at eye level but above that the grout was disgusting......personally I would not shower in it.

Easy access. Right next to the highway. For the price it was okay.

Staff was not interested in you as an individual. Unfortunately it is the only place in town that is reasonably priced. I learned on a 3 day road trip if you book a discounted room you get a poor room. Knowing that this hotel has been around for a long time I am not sure that any of the rooms were better than what we got. I have stayed in worse for more. Conversely I have stayed in better for less.

The beds were comfy. Good air conditioning. Room size was good.

No TV channels. Dated. VERY small bathroom.

They deducted $100 for tissue left on carpet

Atmosphere

The beds were comfortable and everything in the kitchen worked.

There was garbage in all the garbage cans from previous guests. Only one bath towel for 3 guests and no dish cloth or tea towel for doing dishes.

I try to be positive, but having a tough time doing so here. The ac worked? That's all I got.

-The beds sloped down at the head. Had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed, plus the mattresses were so soft, zero support. -Bathroom tiny, the door cannot fully open, it hits the toilet. -The mini fridge froze everything, including very expensive insulins which cannot be used now. -The shower was almost unuseable, shower head cracked spraying water up to the ceiling. -checking out, I felt I was disturbing the guy, was not asked how my stay was and no use complaining, with so many issues in one night, I am doubting complaints are even attended to. Will not stay again, nor will I recommend.

Good price and location.

The guy who works there is not friendly at all. No smile or eye contact and he mumbles when he talks.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandman Inn McBride. The room was cozy, and both the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, giving us a great night’s sleep after a long drive. The mountain view from our window was absolutely breathtaking. Stepping outside and seeing a deer nearby made our trip even more memorable. The hotel’s location is excellent. There is a restaurant right next door, which is very convenient after a long day of traveling. There’s also a fantastic Chinese restaurant about a 4-minute walk away, serving delicious food with very generous portions. We really enjoyed everything.

The only minor issue was that we noticed some hair on the bathroom floor when we checked in. Other than that, our stay was very comfortable.

Good attention, the room has a little cooler and a microwave.

It is only my preferences but I would like a harder mattress

Restaurant was closed no breakfast available, Room was dirty, no remote for tv, when we recieved the tv was grainy and only had two functioning channels. No air conditioning, we could not open the window as there were no screen to keep the bugs out. We requested a fan... it was full of dust. Not happy at all with our stay.

There was a boil water advisory for the town. The hotel should have provided bottled water in the rooms. The ice maker wasn't working so we had to buy our own ice. The restaurant was not open for dinner.

The paint was peeling off the walls. The toilet was tight behind the bathroom door. There was only one place to eat (right next door to the motel), and they were out of most of the items on the menu.

The room was comfortable enough. Quiet enough. Wifi was quite a good speed. Would have been disappointed in the television coverage if that were my main enteritainment with kids or if I were stuck in the room. The restaurant food was outstanding. The service was very pleasant and the server was quick with coffee. Four stars to the restaurant and food service.

Dind't care for the age of the corridor, the carpet or the appliances. If a chain is to keep up, it should be doing the best it can to keep carpets up to date. Those carpets and the doors and walls were from the 1970s. It was a bit unnerving to go into a room with the deadbolt already torn off the door.

lack of TV stations, restaurant is unwelcoming. Hallway carpet is wore out and gives the "dump" impression.

Lobby, stairs & hallway really needed a good vacuum. Coffee maker didn’t work. Tv didn’t work. Phoned front desk for assistance no answer. Good location

The room was dated and small. The bathroom was a bit disappointing, the shower curtain was stained, the tub drained slowly and was chipped/stained. The toilet was right behind the door and the bathroom in general was just tiny.

The staff are awesome, especially the guy that was at the desk at night. Room was comfy. My shower temperature kept changing by itself but that’s not the biggest deal!

The staff in the restaurant were both (dinner/breakfast) amazing, friendly, polite with quick service and all the food was delicious

Carpet in our room outdated and very sticky. Restaurant was closed when we checked in due to shortage of staff.

I’m not super fussy so it was fine for a one night stay. Staff was very welcoming, room was clean but ole and outdated

This motel is definitely old but clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights and everyone from check in to housekeeping to restaurant staff were all more than helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable room, but there is no great restaurant in that area, also we eat breakfast in hotel restaurant, unfortunately its not good quality , but hotel was good

The staff are very friendly. The hotel is older and could use some updating. The room we had has a kitchenette with an apartment size fridge that has a freezer. The beds were really comfortable.

The restaurant in the hotel was excellent for breakfast, great service.

Had a late check in 11pm. Key didnt work to get in main door. Phone at door was ringing at front desk with no one answering. Took over 30 min to wake manager up to open the door.

The property is old and dated. I booked ahead and arrived late to check in. Surprisingly all the rooms were full and likely with truckers passing through. It was good enough for one night.

It’s an okay place for a night with reasonable price

The room was unclean with bugs present, and the desk was dirty. There was an unpleasant odor both in the room and the lobby. The photos provided online were misleading and did not reflect the actual condition of the Sandman Inn in McBride. The stay was extremely overpriced given the poor state of the hotel. For the rate charged, the experience was unacceptable — the cleanliness, smell, and overall condition made it feel worse than sleeping in a car.

Bed was below average and air conditioning was very noisy. Also I called ahead to mention late arrival and they still called before I arrived and appeared to be ready to shut down when I arrived ?

Perfect. Glad we found the place but book early, it was full about 6 pm.

Courteous staff, clean. Antiquated accomodations (furniture mid 1960's) Technologically in the stone age (receptacles and conveniant power outlets). Had to carry in portable A/C as the room had none in it. Chose specifically for advertised restaurant availability, arrived and restaurant was closed. Junk food and sandwich night. Not impressed.
