Reviewed Sep 12, 2026We checked out of this hotel on August 19, 2026. I had inadvertently left behind an expensive French purchased tote bag, an expensive Cardigan sweater a Christmas gift from my daughter, eyeglasses, books, card, etc. Upon arriving in Cork we immediately sent emails and texts to the hotel advising them of this predictment. No response, after several hours we called; they said they would check with housekeeping and get back to us. They then advised that nothing had been found. We had notified them within an hour or upon our leaving the hotel. This reply we thought was strange. Therefore we asked them to double check; they did not reply Upon returning to Limerick on our way back to the US we stopped and asked them to double check they said they wou.d.. Again they did not get back to us. We also asked Booking.com to intervene on our behalf. Booking.com did NOT receive a response also. I would strongly suggest tht Booking.com drop their listing of this hotel. If this is the way that this hotel treats Booking.com's customers, I would think that Booking.com would want no part of them.

Breakfast was lovely, and super value for money with €5 euro off per person. The staff were courteous and professional. An excellent hotel that we would certainly book again. Rooms were clean and fresh. Staff were very helpful when asking for anything. I asked for a fan as I was very warm and was not a problem, also very good to be able to put valuables in the sink

Het enige wat ik vervelend vond was de douche/bad combi, snap wel dat mensen het handig vinden met in en uitstappen in het bad, alleen deze stang zat net te dicht bij de douche. 1 beweging en je raakt met je elleboog de punt van de stang, en dat is niet een fijn gevoel. Verander de combi bad douche het is niet meer van deze tijd

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026When we arrived the Limerick was celebrating a recent win at the National Hurling finals. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was OK and all the beds and the bathroom were clean. We had an evening meal in the Hotel and they served quick and pleasant pub food.
There wasn't much wrong. The view we had from the Hotel was across the road to an office block on a main road rather than panoramic, but there wasn't much noise.
