This was a room only deal. I was going to a music gig in Dolans so that influencedc my decision. Also paid parking is only a one minute walk . The 8th floor room was spacious with a view of the river Shannon. . I didnt have time to check the leisure centre
Maintenance was being carried out on the lifts which were very slow
Everything. The food was excellent. The location was perfect For my use.
The room didn't have a bath
Views off limerick 👍
€350 for one night? Way too excessive ..not even breakfast from that..€16 for a glass off wine...cmon
Location
Breakfast was ok. Parking house is extra and has a very tight entrance.

Location is very good, just a few minutes from the city centre but very quiet area. Parking only €10 per night in the car park across the road. Air con in the bedroom was brilliant, views from room were lovely. Rooms big and comfortable. Communication via email before the stay was almost immediate, very convenient.
Male receptionist who checked us in and out seemed very lost. Wasn't sure how to do check out. He hadn't a clue what was going on. Ordered two fried eggs at breakfast, they came out after approximately 30 minutes when we were finished eating.
Room was fine and clean, nothing too fancy, definitely didn't feel 4 star. The staff was okay but didn't acknowledge my sister graduating or saw any need to help us serve coffee in the morning. The food was pretty good
It felt like a 3 star hotel at best with the quality of the room and the amenities, plus the staff was so-so.
Molto accogliente ed in posizione eccezionale.
Property was extremely clean The front of house stuff that checked us in on the night was such a lovely man and extremely helpful and also very welcoming.
The only thing I would criticise would be the breakfast I would score it 6 out of 10.
Idéalement situé!
Au vu de du tarif et du standing un ménage un peu plus poussé au quotidien Et attention le bonnet de bain est obligatoire pour la piscine Il y en a en vente sur place à 3 euros sinon !
Disappointing Check-In Experience - Clayton Hotel Limerick I recently stayed at the Clayton Hotel Limerick on Thursday 20th August, visiting for the Amble concert. Unfortunately, our experience began on a very sour note due to the manner of the male receptionist on duty. Our room was booked under my sister's name, as she was working and planned to join us later. When we arrived to check in, we were told in no uncertain terms that without my sister physically present with her ID, we could not check in — despite the fact that I had valid ID of my own. No flexibility was offered whatsoever, and the attitude of the receptionist was, frankly, rude and standoffish. This is not the welcome you expect from a front-of-house representative when paying 359 euro for one room with no breakfast included. We were left with no choice but to leave our bags at the desk. As my sister was coming straight from work to the hotel and had no ID with her we had to arrange for someone to deliver ID to my sister so she could eventually check us all in . This caused significant stress and inconvenience on what should have been an enjoyable day out. To add to the frustration, when I rang the hotel afterwards, a member of the reservations team told me that we could in fact have checked in as long as either my husband or I had valid ID and that the hotel is quite flexible on this. This directly contradicted everything we had been told at the desk which made the whole situation even more infuriating. I have stayed in many hotels across Ireland and abroad, and I have never encountered this kind of rigid, unwelcoming attitude at check-in and most certainly not within Ireland. The receptionist in question is simply not suited to a front-of-house role. His manner was cold, unhelpful and left us feeling unwelcome from the very start of our stay. I would urge hotel management to address this matter. First impressions matter enormously in hospitality, and on this occasion, the Clayton fell well short of the standard guests deserve.

Great location. TV didn't work but reception was prompt organising someone to come to the room to sort. Staff friendly
Nothing
Food overpriced
It was a little expensive for the limited time we spent there. Breakfast good, bed comfortable and our room was beautiful.
Price of drinks in bar, very expensive
Location was brilliant as I was attending a concert
The breakfast wasn't great the sausages didn't seem well cooked the black and white pudding wasn't cooked properly I had to spilt it out I'm not one to complain
Good location …not far from centre Limerick. Car park beside hotel v important
Could have done with double bed…lot of tw8n rooms now have double beds. In the end I had room to myself as other person couldn’t come…but only had single beds
Staff were so friendly and hotel was clean and very accessible to town

Location to city
Ok but repetitive in the breakfast offerings. They will provide porridge or eggs on request.
The elevator set up, apparently been like this for 3 years
Breakfast exceptional , not mean on food
We found it cold in parts of the hotel because of air conditioning, but the staff turned it off when asked
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and lovely room, food was top class. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the Clayton. It's on the Quay close to city yet quiet area with boardwalk. City is minutes away walking.

A good selection
Buffet breakfast cold
Everything including the free spin
The gym and pool area is screaming for improvements
Breakfast excellent. Lovely location. Breakfast excellent. Hotel location lovely.
Twin superior room very small, beds too close and too high. Shower over bath not ideal. Evening dining experience very poor. No dedicated dining room with beautifully dressed tables. Menu poor.
Établissement propre, literie confortable, personnel accueillant.
Lovely views across the city. Comfortable family room.
Pool was a bit small and there was no space to sit and supervise children.
La amabilidad del personal. La amplitud de la habitación y la comodidad de la cama.
No hubo nada reseñable.
Calm and very relaxing stay. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Top class housekeeping,- room spotless,- hall and stair carpets immaculate, very good standard of cleanliness overall. Receptionist Declan was an absolute gentleman to converse with.
Nothing.
Location, views
We requested a twin room but got a double. We checked in approx half 7 in the evening and didn’t have time to request a change
I love the location
The breakfast was quite expensive but excellent. There was some anti social behaviour on the floor we stayed on and I am still worried about a woman and child who were being abused by a man. The hotel staff called the gardai and managed the situation as best they could.
Had a great stay here, check in was handled by Declan who is very nice, informative and professional. Great amenities including gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi. Outside terrace was very cozy and special at night also. Breakfast was good, although missing hash browns which would have been nice. All in all a perfect hotel for a couple nights.
Nothing
Our room smelt mouldy. We had to sleep with the windows open it was so bad. Kids allowed to run around the bar area playing games and yelling until late in the night. The breakfast was really bad. The food looked past it.
